"Daisy," Adams said calmly, looking at the young woman in front of her; said women straightening her poster, in the metal chair, the chains binding her to the floor rustled a little.
"Yes ma'am," Daisy's voice was dead.
"Do you know why you are here?" Adams asked.
"No," was Daisy's answer, Adams sighed.
"Morse," Adams said, she watched Daisy's body for any sign of realization, she saw her clenching her fists.
"She means nothing," Daisy said.
"That may be true, but you didn't inform me of her being your soulmate, and neither did she," Adams said.
"I didn't think it was relevant," Daisy said.
"You went on a date with her last night," Adams said.
"Yes, I did," Daisy said, her voice shook a bit.
"It's alright Daisy, but it has to stop. You know that we have decided to move the next phase up, hopefully tomorrow, depending how well you take your lesson. I really thought we were over this," Adams said, and she actually sounded disappointed at the end.
"I am loyal," Daisy said, looking nervous and troubled at what Adams said.
"I know honey, but it has to be done, you do understand, right," Adams said, looking at Daisy with a smile.
"Yes Alisha, I understand, and I'm sorry," Daisy said, looking down at her lap.
Adams didn't say anything to Daisy using her first name, she usually only did it after a lesson, but she padded Daisy on her shoulder, and walked out the door, getting the things needed for Daisy's lesson.
Daisy was still in the same position as when she had left.
"Eyes forward," Adams said, and was pleased when Daisy did as she was told. Hopefully the lesson would be a short one, it would be even better if all of this was only a fluke because of Daisy meeting her soulmate. Adams even began thinking on how to keep them apart, so the only interaction they would have was in meetings where someone else would be present too, preferably her or Whitehall.
She put the helmet on Daisy's head, and set the settings to five hours, per Whitehall's instructions. He wasn't happy about it all either, but Morse was good at her job, however, if something happened to Daisy's programming again, they would have to get rid of the source for it, one Barbara Morse.
Daisy woke up on a soft bed, with a massive headache, but she knew where she was without opening her eyes. The smell from the sheets told her who's bed this was, but she could also feel the vibration from the person not far from the bed.
"Alisha," Daisy mumbled, opening her eyes, looking over at the woman, the woman smiled down at her from the chair she was sitting on.
"Good, you are awake, Whitehall wants to speak with us," Daisy nodded and started to sit up. When she was in a sitting position Alisha gave her a glass of water and some painkillers, Daisy took them and drank the water with greed.
"You good?" Alisha asked, Daisy nodded and stood up.
"Good," Alisha nodded, and started to lead Daisy to Whitehall.
When they arrived, he was reading some papers, but he put them down when he noticed them, and gestured for them to sit down in the two chairs in front of his desk.
"So, Daisy, what do you feel for Barbara Morse?" Whitehall asked.
"She is just a fellow worker for Hydra, nothing more," Daisy answered.
"What about the bond between the two of you?" he then asked.
"The bond doesn't matter to me, only Hydra, Alisha, and you sir," Daisy answered.
Whitehall seemed pleased with her answer since he smiled at Daisy and gave Alisha a nod. Ever since he found Daisy as a child, she had been difficult to get under control and obey every order he gave, that was until Alisha came into the picture. She had a different way to brainwash people than he did, and he did try his way first, but it didn't have the desired effect.
Alisha's way did, yes Daisy wasn't afraid to say her mind, but she was obedient, and there had only been one other incident beside this one where Alisha's method had a small fluke, compared to his many failed attempts. What Alisha and Daisy did in their time off wasn't his concern, he even had a theory that it was strengthening the mind control that Alisha had on Daisy.
"That is good to hear, I was worried that your focus was shifting," he said, testing her again.
"It was sir, and I am sorry, but don't worry, Alisha fixed it," Daisy said looking over at the woman with a smile, Alisha smirked back.
"Good, now has Alisha told you about the next phase being moved up?" he asked her.
"She mentioned it," Daisy said.
"Are you up for it today?" he asked. Since SHIELD was getting in the way more and more these days, he wanted to have Daisy ready to take out anyone who was a threat to Hydra.
"I am," Daisy said, Whitehall smiled at that and had Alisha escort Daisy downstairs to get ready.
When Daisy and Alisha walked into the lab, the doctors in there looked up, and the lead doctor came up to them.
"Chief Adams, Johnson, are we a go today or are we waiting a day or two?" he asked, with glee in his eyes.
Daisy never really liked him or any doctors, but she would tolerate them, for Alisha or Whitehall, she knew that Whitehall was a doctor, but he was different.
"We are ready now," Chief Adams said to him, and the glee in the man's eyes grew bigger, and he smiled at Daisy who ignored him.
"Great," he said, clapping his hands together, then two more doctors came over to take Daisy to prep her. Daisy followed after a nod from Alisha.
Alisha had moved to the viewing room, to observe the procedure, she hoped that Daisy would gain control faster this time, and preferably less destruction.
Daisy was led into the room she was looking into, only wearing something to cover her private areas. Daisy was then guided over to a machine, before she got into it, she looked up at the glass, Alisha nodded at Daisy again.
Alisha smiled, Daisy was also not as bold as she normally would be after a lesson, but she would be back to normal soon, or what she had programmed Daisy's normal to be, she loved someone who had a mouth on them.
She saw Daisy lay down on the metal table attached to the machine, and the various doctors hooking wires and tubs to her body before sliding the machine shut around Daisy.
After that, the doctors moved behind the protective glass and started the machine, Daisy's screams were loud.
Daisy had passed out when the machine shut down, the doctors had protective gear on, both for fire and ice, they looked Daisy over. After a moment the lead doctor gave Chief Adams a thumbs up, and they moved Daisy to a bed. They hooked a new IV into her arm and rolled her to another room until she woke up.
It had been a few days since Bobbi's soulmate had left Bobbi on their date and had been sent on a mission.
Simmons had been given a new project to work on, this one was about a new chemical weapon that Hydra wanted to build.
Her new lab partner was a black-haired woman who Simmons got the impression of someone who loved her job.
"You worked on the next phase, right?" she asked Simmons suddenly, Simmons looked up from the sample she was looking at.
"I am not sure I know what you mean," Simmons said, a little confused.
"You know infusing someone with some powers," she said looking at Simmons more intensely.
"Umm," Simmons started to say but her lab partner was grabbed roughly, and her upper body was pinned on the table, again roughly, Simmons had screamed when it happened.
Bobbi, who had been close by with some other guards and Chief Adams, came into the lab to see what happened.
Bobbi froze when she saw Daisy, she looked murderous down at a trembling woman, and a nervous looking Simmons not far away.
"Johnson, what are you doing?" Adams asked calmly. Daisy looked up at Adams but quickly looked down at the woman beneath her.
"Why don't you repeat what you said to your lab partner," Daisy said her voice was cold.
"I, I, I, don't, AHHH," the woman started but Daisy pulled the arm that was behind the woman's back further behind her.
"Okay, okay, I asked if she had been working on the next phase, about giving someone powers," the woman said, Bobbi looked over to Adams who looked angry.
"You two take her downstairs, Simmons you will follow Johnson and me upstairs, Morse take over for me and brief the remaining guards on the new systems," Adams said handing over the tablet to her, the guards nodded and took hold of the woman after Daisy let her go.
Bobbi was nervous to leave Simmons now, but she had to, so she led the remaining guards out of the lab and down the hall, the opposite way from the three women.
