When they entered Whitehall's office he was speaking to Bakshi. Daisy just threw the door open and sat down on the couches Whitehall had in his office, Adams and Simmons came in a few moments later. Adams sat in one of the chairs in front of Whitehall's desk, Bakshi was using the other. Simmons was hesitant and didn't know where to sit so she just remained standing, close to the door.
She could see Daisy looking at her, and Jemma could only guess that Daisy was looking at her to see if she would try to run, so Jemma moved closer to Adams. Daisy looked away at that, so that proved her guess.
"We were talking," Bakshi sneered at Daisy.
"And I don't care!" Daisy barked back at him breathing hard and looking like she wanted to kill him.
"This is important," Adams said before Bakshi said something.
"Okay. Bakshi, you can leave we will continue this later," Whitehall said, Bakshi nodded and left, but he did scowl at Daisy, who glared back at him.
"What is this about?" Whitehall asked.
Adams then explained what had happened, and Whitehall looked angry.
"Doctor Simmons, have you talked to anyone about your work? You weren't supposed to," he asked.
"N-no sir, no one," Simmons said.
"Are you sure, maybe you weren't aware of it?" White hall asked calmly.
Before Simmons could answer Bakshi spoke up.
"Or maybe it is your little pet project, sir she is disrespectful, and lazy and just a brat, she needs to be put in her place or even better terminated," Bakshi said looking at Whitehall. And even Simmons could tell that the look in Bakshi's eyes was begging Whitehall to listen to him.
Before anything else could be said, a stream of ice shot past Simmons head and hit Bakshi, he flew into the wall behind him, the ice nailing him to it.
Blood began flowing from his mouth as he gasped a few times before he became quiet.
Then everyone turned to look over at Daisy who was breathing heavily, Simmons noticed that the young woman was sweating and trembling a little, she also looked very angry. Simmons looked at Whitehall and then Adams, she had no idea what their facial expressions meant.
She then got a little confused as to why it felt like the room was vibrating, or was it her shaking?
"Daisy calm down now!" Adams ordered, but it didn't seem like Daisy heard her.
"Daisy," Whitehall said sternly when it didn't work but again it seemed like Daisy heard him. The shaking got a little stronger and a few of the paintings on the wall fell, now Simmons could only guess that it was Daisy shaking the room, somehow, and she had been the person who they infused Donnie Gill's ice powers with.
Whitehall then pulled out a remote from his drawer and pressed a button. Simmons got a little sick when she saw Daisy fall to the ground, gripping at her neck and making the kind of sound as someone getting a massive shock, and with that thought running through her head, she realized that that is what was happening right now. Daisy eventually passed out, and for Simmons it was way too long a time for Daisy to be shocked.
"Adams get her under control, she crossed the line," Whitehall said, sounding angry.
"Of course, sir, but we did have suspicions that she could break the brainwash after getting the new powers, just like with the first one, but don't worry sir, in a few days she will be in our control again," Adams said.
Simmons had a suspicion that they had forgotten she was still there, or they didn't care.
But then they turned to look at her.
"Agent Simmons, I think it would be a good idea for you to help Chief Adams with our little problem," Whitehall said pointing at Daisy's motionless body on the floor.
Simmons gulped but nodded.
Adams then went over to Daisy and flung her over her shoulder and told Simmons to follow.
When they had gotten down in the basement, Adams opened a door to a cold room. There was only an old mattress in the corner, a toilet and a sink in another, and nothing else, so Simmons knew it was a prison cell.
"Agents Simmons follow me," Adams said standing by the door, Simmons then realized she had been stuck in her head, and Adams had laid Daisy on the mattress, they walked across the room to get a box and walked back to the cell.
"Help me strip her down to her underwear, and put everything in the box," Adams ordered, putting the box on the floor.
"What?" Simmons asked, her eyes widening, Adams looked up at her after taking Daisy's jacket off.
"Do you have a problem?" Adam asked her.
"No, no not at all," Simmons said and went down on one knee to untie Daisy's shoes.
When they were done, they left the room and Adams locked the door, then Adams took Simmons with her to a small office-like room.
"Agent Simmons, the files that we will share with you in a moment are about Johnson and will not leave this room unless myself or Director Whitehall says otherwise, understood?" Adams asked.
"Oh yes, but-" Simmons started but didn't really know why she was here or being told all of this.
"Because you saw some things you shouldn't have, and we could use someone like you down here, so from today you will report and work down here," Adams said.
"What would you have me do?" Simmons asked carefully after she had taken a breath.
"You will help me work on Daisy, it would be smart to have another who can get her under control, when I'm not here," Adams said with a smirk.
Then Adams went over to the wall and pressed a panel, showing a safe, and taking a hard drive out, she then closed the safe again.
"Here this is all the information we have on Johnson," Adams said, handing Simmons the hard drive.
Simmons took the drive, it felt heavy in her hands, and she had a feeling she wouldn't like what was on it, and not just because she now knew that Daisy was being forced to work for Hydra.
It had been four days since the incident in the lab and Bobbi hadn't seen or heard from Jemma, and she was getting very worried.
She had asked Chief Adams but all she got was that she was working with Johnson and herself in the basement, and not to ask anymore.
She had informed Coulson and May about what was going on and they were just as worried.
Coulson and May also told Bobbi that they had intercepted a meeting between a weapons dealer and Hydra, one that Bakshi was supposed to attend, last night, and that Bakshi hadn't shown up to the meeting. When the dealer had asked where Bakshi was, the Hydra agent who had showed up said that he didn't know, and they would be dealing with him.
Before the sale was done, even more Hydra agents showed up and killed the dealer and his men, there were too many for the small SHIELD team to do anything besides stay put, so they didn't know what Hydra got from the dealer.
Then Coulson had asked if she knew why Bakshi hadn't been there, and Bobbi just said no and that she hadn't seen the man the past four days either.
They said that they would send Trip with a Quinjet to wait nearby, and for Bobbi to find Simmons and get out.
Two days later and Bobbi had still not heard or seen Jemma, Daisy, or Bakshi, and she was starting to panic, she was in the hallway in front of the elevator that led to the basement talking with one of the other guards when the alarm started to blare loudly.
Just then the elevator opened showing a scared looking Jemma who was trying to hold a pale Daisy up, and both had blood on them.
Back at the playground Coulson and May were planning their next move of what to do, when there was a knock on the door.
"Come in," Coulson answered.
Mack came in with a pale looking Fitz.
"Fitz are you okay?" Coulson asked.
"N-no, it's Jemma," he said.
May jumped up, "What's wrong, is she hurt?" she asked him.
"No, but she is very scared, and a lot more then she has been since going undercover," he said.
"Call Trip, tell him to be ready!" May told Mack, who nodded and left the room.
Just then May's phone started to ring, taking the call after looking at who it was.
"Bobbi, what's going on?" May said, putting the phone on speaker.
"We need help to get out of here," Bobbi's voice came over the sound of an alarm and gunshots.
Mack came in the room again with Trip on comms, and said Trip was on standby and ready to go.
Coulson spoke up then, "Tell Trip to go now, and meet them at the pickup point" he said.
"That won't work sir, tell him the roof, west side," Bobbi's voice came.
"Okay, Mack, inform Trip," Coulson said, a few seconds later Mack said that Trip would be there in seven minutes.
"Can you two be there at that time?" Coulson asked, there was silence for a few seconds before there was an answer.
"Three, and yes sir I think we can," it was Simmons who had answered having taken Bobbi's phone.
"Three?" May asked
"Yes, Daisy is with us. I will explain when we get to base, but I would like to request a part of the med bay be private, for when we get back. Daisy needs to be checked over, and I don't want many people around," Simmons said.
May and Coulson looked at each other and then over to Fitz on the sofa, and the three of them knew the tone that Simmons had used, they knew she meant what she said, and they also knew they shouldn't ignore.
"I'll handle it," Fitz said standing up, and now that he knew his soulmate was okay for now, he could focus, he was almost out of the door when Simmons spoke up again.
"Fitz see you soon, I have to go now," was all Simmons said, before the line went dead.
Mack said he would help Fitz, he hadn't met Simmons, but he knew Bobbi, and he was looking forward to seeing her again. It would be fun to see how Hunter would react to seeing his ex-wife again, but he didn't know about the Hydra agent they were bringing back with them. He saw the look on Coulson's face, he too looked like he was worried about that, of course he couldn't read May's expression.
When the door closed again, Coulson looked over to May, "Do you think they got to the girl and she wants to help us? Or at least get out of Hydra? What do you think happened? What-"
"Phil, I don't know, we'll wait until they are here to get answers," May said before walking out of the office.
"Yeah, she's right," Coulson said to himself before sitting down to do paperwork.
