(Hey it's me again. Just letting y'all know ima skip over most of the April-Casey-Vern stuff in favour of the turtles. It's not as important to Ming's story as the turtle's part)

The police helped the turtles to the Chrysler building, while April, Casey and Vern all headed with a team to the warehouse that the portal's energy signature was coming from. Donnie had assured Mikey that if Shredder was keeping Ming anywhere, that's where she would be. They wanted to find her of course, but the threat from the sky was a more pressing issue at the moment. They needed to stop Kraang first.

Atop the building, Donnie surveyed the scene. "This thing's 57 percent complete. If we don't stop it now it'll be ready to go in less than four minutes."

"Guys? What are we waiting for?" Mikey asked, looking to Raph and Leo.

Leo glanced at Raph, remembering his hesitation of jumping out of the plane. It was entirely possible Raph was scared of heights, and completely understandable considering last year's brush with death. "You got this?"

Raph took a deep breath and nodded. "Yeah, I got this." With that, he jumped, yelling out "SURF'S UP, NEW YORK!" The other's followed him, Mikey even letting out a whoop of glee as he jumped, landing squarely on a chunk of ship.

"Ultra-sonic scanners indicate the beacon's location is somewhere near the command module a few hundred feet ahead!" Donnie told the others.

Leo nodded. "Okay... We gotta stop this thing from completing..."

"And how are we supposed to do that?" Raph demanded.

That was when Leo noticed something in the center of the partially completed Technodrome. "Let's start with whatever that thing is." He pointed.

Donnie pulled his tech goggles over his eyes to get a better look. "That must be Kraang..." He reported.

"Alright. Fall in, guys!"

The turtles jumped from their floating makeshift transport and barreled down the side of the Technodrome towards Kraang. They stopped once they reached level ground. Mikey lazily swung a nunhcuck as he stepped closer to the huge robot that towered over them. It appeared inactive.

"Woah..." Raph gasped. "It's not that bad, it's just a dumb robot."

"Huh." Mikey agreed. "Yeah, man, I was expecting way worse..." He peered closer at the big dumb robot.

"And what would that look like?" Raph asked.

Mikey shrugged, tapping the glass belly of the robot. "I 'unno. Like a mustache maybe... evil goatee or something, ya know? Ming would know."

Suddenly, a big purple eye blinked back at Mikey, and seconds later, a slimy, tentacle brain jumped out from the glass belly of the robot, causing Mikey to scream and fall back, exclaiming that it was "like a chewed up piece of gum! With a face!"

The brain creature, which was clearly the actual Kraang, growled at the turtles. "I'll only warn you once. Get off my ship!"

Leo pointed at the control panel. "Donnie, get to the console. Let's send this jacked up disco ball back where it came from." Then he turned to Kraang. "Alright, Bubblicious, lets see what you've got!" He challenged.

Kraang growled as the turtles attacked, knocking them down quickly. "I'll show you what I've got... THIS!"

The turtles were sent rolling. Raph wiped blood off his mouth. "This dude's tougher than I thought..."

As his brothers rushed in to distract Kraang and fight him, Donnie managed to slip past and get to the console, and began hacking away. "About 90 seconds before this thing is complete... All you Donnie... no pressure, no pressure..."

A few rooftops away, a pair of red boots pounded against the gravel and pavement towards the Technodrome...

"You know..." Kraang mused, as he fought with three of the turtles and slowly inched closer to the one at his control panel. "I'm looking forward to enslaving you! A cage full of tortoises might be nice!"

Raph took offence at this, as he stabbed at the robot's neck. "We're turtles! Not tortoises! there's a big difference!" He growled.

"Yeah!" Leo added, cutting Kraang's arm off as he made to hit Donnie. "Turtles bite!"

The boots leapt from the roof and landed squarely on a chunk of ship as it flew towards the beacon. A black tail twitched anxiously.

Kraang laughed at the foolish turtles. "You don't think I have spares for this?!" He motioned at his machinery, an attachment with a swinging ball magnetically attaching itself to one arm, and a large claw to the other.

"Guys... he is literally re-arming..." Mikey gulped.

The boots were running down the side of the Technodrome towards the fight. A clawed hand clenched in a fist, fire swirling around it.

Leo, Raph and Mikey leapt onto Kraang, who set his top half spinning violently to get them off.

"Donnie!" Leo yelled.

"Just give me ten seconds!" Donnie replied hastily.

"Guys... I don't think I'm tall enough to ride this ride!" Mikey screamed.

Kraang managed to throw the turtles. Leo went bouncing towards the edge.

"LEO HANG ON!" Raph yelled.

Leo reached for something to grab to, but missed, when someone grabbed his hand, and pulled him back onto the Technodrome. He gasped for breath for a second, staring at the pair of red boots in front of him. He slowly looked up.

"MING?!"

She was so different... red tips in her hair, red boots and a tight halter top and shorts, among other things like the black tail and the huge wings and the claws on her hands and the fangs in her mouth and-

"It's a long story." She muttered, and hugged her brother, a million emotions and thoughts running through her head. Her brothers were alive. Her family was okay. Kraang wanted to hurt her world. She had to stop him. She and her brothers had to stop him.

Leo nodded, and they both ran to fight the Kraang. The others were taken aback for a moment, but they had a job to do right now, everybody understood this. As relieved as they all were that each other was safe and alive and okay, they had to focus on stopping Kraang first, as a team again.

"Where's the beacon, Donnie? We're running out of time!" Leo yelled.

"You already have!" Kraang smirked, as the Technodrome suddenly shook, and a large round thing came from the top. "Prepare to watch your city crumble!" The large round thing started glowing blue.

"What's happening Donnie?!" Raph growled.

"I was right..." Donnie realized in quiet terror as his monitors started beeping. "It's a massive weapons system, he's bringing it online!"

Ming watched as a weapon came from within the Technodrome, charging and pointed straight at Times Square. She looked to Leo. "I can take care of the weapons!"

"What?! What are you-"

"I can hold the weapons from hurting the city while you guys get the beacon." Ming clarified, her hand sparking with orange energy.

Leo looked at Ming, and for a moment, he saw that determined little six-year-old girl who wanted to help him do everything.

"I can fight too!" The little girl growled in a huff, holding a wooden practice sword, holding tears back angrily as she tried to deny her skinned knees hurt at all. "I'm a ninja too!"

Leo blinked to clear the illusion and looked at Ming harder. She wasn't that little kid anymore, she really wasn't. She almost looked like a completely different person right now, so much that for a fleeting second Leo almost didn't know who he was looking at.

He gave her a nod, and handed her a sword. She grinned and ran towards the weapon, flapping her wings once and taking off.

Leo was snapped from his thoughts by Donnie's triumphant cry. "I found the beacon! It's just... up... there..."

"Mikey, go!" Leo distracted Kraang's attack.

Mikey grinned and grabbed his skateboard. "Oh, I'll get that beacon!"

As he dipped and swerved, Kraang growled angrily. "Okay, turtles, playtime is over!" His robot attached a huge gun to it's chest and started shooting electric charges. Luckily, Mikey's skateboarding skills were just a little faster than the weapon, and he grabbed the beacon.

At this time, Ming was holding back a huge blast of energy from the weapons system. It was taking a lot of her power to not let go, not fall back, to hold it back.

"I can't keep this up forever..." she growled to herself. Looking around, she noticed Kraang's weapon on his robot body. As she got an idea, Kraang took off the attachment and started to crush Mikey. She could hear him taunting her brother, could hear his squeaks of pain.

Leo and Raph leapt onto Kraang, and managed to pry his head off. "NOBODY. MESSES."

"WITH MIKEY!" Donnie leapt onto Kraang, zapping his machine with his electrified Bo staff.

But that wasn't enough... Kraang threw the turtles off him, then he saw Ming, and reattached his chest weapon, aiming right at her. She grinned evilly. That's what she needed...

No. Ming wouldn't be able to hold both weapons, and would probably get really hurt from this, but it had to be done. She was perfectly positioned , so when Kraang took aim, she let go of the other weapon, throwing her energy towards Kraang.

The collision of her energy, the Technodrome's weapon and Kraang's weapon was enough to create a huge explosion, which severely damaged the robot.

Ming's ears rang loudly from the sound, but she managed to stand on shaky legs.

"Guys, Kraang is down, but his ship's still building." Leo announced the obvious (as he had a bad habit of doing).

Mikey slowly pulled himself up, and tossed the beacon to Donnie, who, instead of catching it, activated his drone, which caught the beacon and started to fly off.

The Technodrome was almost complete, so this was going to be really close. The drone flew towards the last hole as the last drops of sunlight were being blacked out... and squeaked through at the last possible second.

Donnie gave April the triumphant signal to close the portal as the drone flew through, the Technodrome following close behind, piece by piece, the turtles and Ming cheering despite their injuries and pain. Pain they could feel any time, but they had just saved the world, and that feeling only came once or twice in a lifetime, and certainly not to everybody.

As the Technodrome deconstructed and went back through the portal, the turtles and Ming leapt onto a tall building, and watched the last of Kraang be sucked away, and the portal close, which knocked them all over onto their backs.

They stood up. Leo grinned. "I knew that would work."

Ming scoffed, and Mikey grinned. "Wait, you seriously thought us five teenagers could save the whole world?"

"Sure." Leo grinned.

"Alright, alright, hold on." Raph interrupted. "I think we're avoiding the elephant in the room here. Ming, what the shell happened to you?"

"That's a long story. Sure ya wanna hear it?" She grinned.
