Dean and Seth both jumped. "Adam? What? Adam?" Dean looked at his boyfriend. The man was as pale as a ghost and his hands trembled.
Seth quickly cleaned up the mess from the coffee cup Adam had dropped. He waited for Adam to speak.
"The… radio… murder..." Adam blinked once. He was still pale, but the tremble had stopped.
Dean and Seth both turned to the radio. The noon news was now focused on sports, mainly the Kansas City Royals baseball team.
Dean looked back to Adam and took the blond's hand in his. "I didn't hear it. What was it, baby?"
Adam blinked and looked at Dean. "Murder, Alberto Del Rio. That… guy at McDonald's, the orange at the grocery store… murdered..." He simply couldn't comprehend it.
Dean's mouth fell open. "Yes, I remember. How odd. You did say he made you feel uncomfortable. Maybe Hunter will know." He pulled Adam close and wrapped an arm around his shoulder.
"Wow… that's the guy you told me about. I'm glad you had nothing to do with him. That is just… weird." Seth took his last bite of lunch.
Adam shook himself. "Yeah. Sorry, just a bit of a shock. Yes, he made me uncomfortable, but no one deserves to be murdered. I'll ask Hunter, but this must have something to do with the big case he got. I will pray for Alberto and his family. Seth, I want you to go behind me, and make damn sure I lock the med room door. I wouldn't put it past some of the other floors from trying to sneak our meds." He hated the thought, but sometimes you did have to borrow from another floor. This could cause problems.
Dean nodded. "Yes. Be sure Lita knows too. We can't do any swaps or trades either. Luckily, we're not over filled with patients. I don't like it, but Stephanie and the board made the right decision not to take in new patients. It will be alright once this mess gets fixed." He quickly finished his lunch.
"Everyone is going to target me, because of Randy. It's not going to be fun. Randy never talked business with me. The only time was when he looked for a building for the company. He wanted my opinion, said I had a decorators mind. I was only at the office a handful of times." Adam wadded up the foil that had contained his sandwich.
Both Dean and Seth put an arm around Adam. Seth spoke. "No they won't. Not the ones that really know you. Randy might not even have anything to do with it… directly, I mean. Business of the hospital lies in the hands of their boards of directors."
Dean nodded. "Seth is right. Come on, we'd better get back. Lunch for the kids." He gave Adam a kiss as Seth backed away.
Adam smiled at Dean. "I am glad you will be at the house. What a day, and it's only half over." He stood and gave Dean a kiss. He headed back to work.
Dean watched as Adam left. There was something in the air, something bordering on evil. Adam was somehow in that evil. He vowed to do what ever it took to keep Adam and children away from that evil. He prayed for the strength it would take.
Adam actually locked himself in the medicine room as he prepared the afternoon medications. He was glad there was a pre-pump monitor on the shelf.
An hour later, Adam sat on Megan's bed. "Now, this won hurt, but, be careful not to pull on the patches. Keep this on your finger tip as best you can. Your daddy can help you in the shower later." Adam cleaned four patches of skin on Megan's torso.
"One here over your heart, one here, just to the side of your heart, and one here, and here on your tummy." Adam explained as he put the adhesive patches on Megan's skin. She laughed when one went over a ticklish spot.
Shawn watched as Adam hooked the cords from the small monitor to the patches. Lastly, Adam placed a soft finger tip on Megan's left index finger. It was like the ones people wore to count money or correlate papers, but instead of ridges, it was smooth.
"It's all totally waterproof. Everything alright? Are the patches pulling your skin?" Adam asked before he turned on the monitor. He could change things now, but not once the monitor had been switched on.
Megan moved a bit, and stretched her body in different ways. She then got out of the bed and really moved. "They feel fine. But, then again, you put them on. So this will help tell the pump the information it needs to level my insulin?" Megan asked as she got back into the bed.
"Yep. Now… here we go." Adam pushed a button on the monitor. The light went from red to green. "You are now being monitored. Shawn, you okay? It is totally safe. It won't affect her heart." Adam saw the pensiveness had returned to Shawn's face.
"I'm alright. It's hard to see your child… have to go through so much." Shawn sighed softly and pulled the sheet up over Megan's legs.
Megan took Shawn's hand in hers. "The pump will make it much better. Maybe my heart will have a chance to get stronger now. You never know, daddy." She gave Shawn a kiss on the cheek.
Shawn hugged his daughter. "How did your dad and I get so lucky to be blessed with you. You're the real adult in this family. I love you so much." He held back the tears.
Adam smiled. "I wonder if someone would like some pudding?"
"Oh, I would, Adam! Better get daddy a cup of Ensure too." Megan teased as Shawn rolled his eyes.
Adam nodded. "Okay, one pudding, one Ensure pudding for the elderly coming up. Call if you need anything." Adam wheeled his cart out of the room. He told the aide to please take Megan some pudding. The aide was on it quickly.
Adam locked the cart in the med room and went to the nurse's station to chart. Although Adam loved his job, he hated the boring routine stuff, but it was important, so he did his best at it.
The "clack-clack" of high heels stopped at the nurse's station. "Adam, have you spoken to Randal today?" Stephanie looked at Adam, her expression unreadable.
"No, ma'am. I have not." Adam replied with honesty.
"Do you think you will?" Stephanie asked, again her expression was neutral.
"I doubt it, Stephanie. I won't even see him till his next weekend with the children. We really only talk if something comes up with the children." Again, Adam spoke the honest truth.
"So, you haven't seen or heard from him at all? Not even a text message?" Stephanie had a bit of frustration in her voice this time.
Adam frowned. "No, Stephanie. I would have told you, when you asked the first time. Why?" Stephanie could be obnoxious, but this was different. She was almost desperate. It worried Adam.
Stephanie seemed to shake herself. "We have been trying to call him. His secretary just says he is unavailable. Well, thanks. We will keep trying. Maybe we can work this mess out. Adam, please, if he does happen to contact you, please tell him to call… please." She didn't actually beg, but she was close.
Adam nodded. "Of course I will. I don't normally ever interfere with Randy and business, but I could try to call him for you, if you like. He might talk to me, but I will make it clear it is not about our children. I won't use Randy like that."
Stephanie bit her lip. "Maybe. I will get back to you. Oh, Shane said to tell you sorry, but the paper bag puppets will have to wait. He's clerking for Helmsley and Associates while Megan Helmsley is here. I will get back to you, Adam." She "clacked" back to her office.
Seth looked at Adam. "Funny, Roman didn't mention that. Oh well, when Shawn is gone, the office is a bit chaotic. Adam, do you understand any of this?"
Adam shrugged. "Not really. I can't imagine any reason the hospital would just cancel their supply line. Randy would never cancel it. He worked too hard to beat out Jericho. Something isn't right. Oh well, it has nothing to do with me really." He gave another shrug and went back to his work.
Later in the afternoon, Dean called Adam to his office. Dean pulled Adam in for a tongue tangling kiss. Adam couldn't help but moan softly.
When Dean broke the kiss, he kept Adam in his arms. "I will be home between six thirty and seven. I'm going to the condo for a load of stuff. Last chance to change your mind." He spoke softly, it was the best he had felt all day with Adam in his arms.
Adam laid his head on Dean's shoulder. He felt so safe and cared for. "Not changing my mind. Oh Dean, is it wrong for me to say, this is the best I have felt all day?" He nuzzled against Dean.
Dean chuckled softly. "No, I just had the exact same thought. This has been the weirdest day ever. Say, excellent job on Meg's monitor. It's getting perfect readings. Shawn was actually asleep when I checked on Meg."
"Good. Shawn gets so stressed about Megan. Hunter does too, but Shawn feels guilty. You know their history. Shawn blames himself for Meg's illness. He's gotten better over the years, but, when she takes a turn with an incident, it comes back. Megan said something today. Could the pump make her heart stronger?" Adam knew some deep medical things, but of course, nothing on Dean's level.
"Not really, per se. But, the reduction of insulin incidents and no more needle angst will help. I am hoping John can look at her heart, maybe even Brock. See if anything can be done. I don't have Megan's complete history yet. I wasn't even supposed to see her until tomorrow. Damn, we'd better get back to work before we get into trouble." He kissed Adam again. Dean double checked to make sure Adam didn't look like a ruffled up sex maniac.
It made Adam giggle. "Thanks, Doctor. I can't wait to get home to the kids… and you."
"Me either. Now go, nurse." Dean gave Adam a playful swat on the butt, then followed him out of the office.
Adam sat back down in his chair at the station. Seth smirked. "Someone's been kissing." He had a sing-song tone to his voice as he teased.
"Boy, you're gonna get it. But, not you, Baby Reigns, you're alright. You just listen to daddy Roman and ignore daddy Seth. Also, always listen to Uncle Adam. Remember, daddy Seth is bad." Adam teased as he rubbed Seth's belly.
Seth rolled his eyes. Before he could respond, he got up to answer a buzzer on his wing. Adam was also buzzed, to Megan's room. He headed off to room 151.
"Sorry Adam, but she has a problem. She has to go, but can't. You know sometimes her medication causes that problem. Can you give her something to keep her from straining? He heart you know." Shawn was worried again.
"Yes. I will speak to Dean right away. She should be able to handle a small dose of Lactulose. I'll be right back. Meg, honey I will bring you something, just relax and don't strain. I will help." Adam spoke to Shawn, then Meg through the bathroom door.
"Okay… but… it's really… stuck." Megan spoke with a slight strain in her voice.
Adam hurried off. He quickly found Dean and he gave Adam permission for a small dose of the thick, sugary liquid. Adam grabbed the bottle and a disposable cup.
Adam returned to room 151. Megan was back in her bed, curled up on her side like a baby. Adam carefully measured the medication.
"Here, sweetheart. This will really help." Adam gave the cup to Megan.
Megan drank the liquid. "Ugh, tastes like honey. This so embarrassing." She laid back down.
Adam gave the teenager a gentle pat on the leg. "It happens to everyone, honey. It's your medication, not you. Now, if this doesn't help within an hour, call me. Sometimes it only takes ten minutes, sometimes an hour or so. Just relax, it's no big deal."
"Thanks, Adam. It does help having you here. This reminds me of when Hunter and I first got married. Your father got plugged up for two days. He was miserable. He finally took some laxatives, and when he finally went, he blocked up the plumbing and it took two days to clear out the… aroma he left." Shawn laughed as did Megan and Adam.
"Poor Hunter. Thanks, Shawn. Now I have cannon fodder to tease him with. Call if you need me. It will all come out in the end." Adam gave Megan a wink, a air kiss to Shawn and left.
Stephanie McMahon was at the station. "Adam, I hate to ask you this, but please. Try to call Randy. Father or I need to talk to him." She looked at Adam with desperate hope in her dark brown eyes.
Adam nodded. "Sure, Stephanie. One moment." Adam pulled his cell phone out of his pocket. He hit Randy's number. "Ran, it's me. Nothing is wrong with the kids. Can you call me back?" He ended the call. "It went right to his voice mail, that's normal. He usually calls me back, but it's always about the kids. All I can do is wait."
Stephanie nodded. "Thank you. If he does call, let me know." This time, she was followed back to her office by a well dressed man. He was tall, had a shaven head and looked very serious.
"I think that's a bodyguard. I've seen him pick her up a time or two. How odd." Seth spoke in a whisper. Something odd was going on.
Adam's cell phone rang, he answered it. It was Randy's ring tone. "Randy… no the kids are fine, I promise… I… yes… yes… I will, Randy… Stephanie wanted me to ask you to call her… she's tried all day… okay… yes, Randy… sorry… okay… bye."
Adam put his phone in his pocket. "How strange. He was really annoyed. Told me to keep the children safe. Told me he'd been in meetings and not to bother him. He got really testy when I told him about Stephanie. Said he'd talk to her when he was effing ready to. He then said he had to back to his meeting and hung up. What do I tell her?" Adam was really confused. The last time he'd heard Randy that angry was on the phone for business.
Seth frowned. "Just tell her that he said..." He explained his idea as Stephanie came "clacking" down the hall, the man behind her.
Stephanie stopped at the nurse's station. "Well, did he call back?"
"Yes, he did. He said he was sorry, but he is tied up in meetings and will call you at the first opportunity. He sounded very angry and wasn't happy I interrupted his meeting. Sorry, ma'am. I can't make him call you. I did my best." Adam spoke firmly and told the basic truth.
Stephanie actually smiled at Adam. "Thank you, Adam. I do appreciate it. No, you can't make him call. Well, maybe his meeting will help this mess. Sorry he got angry at you." She turned and went back to her office. The man again followed her.
Adam and Seth looked at each other. Neither knew quite what to say. They looked up when Hunter arrived at the nurse's station. He was grim faced.
"Adam, have you by any chance spoke to Randy today?" Hunter was in detective mode, as he looked at his one time lover.
Adam nodded. "As a matter of fact, I have..." He went on to explain his call with his ex husband. "… then he ended the call. He was angry, but not at me. I guess his meeting wasn't going very well. Why did you ask?"
Hunter shrugged. "Just curious. Heard about the issues between the hospital and Orton Pharmaceuticals. I am concerned it will affect Megan, and of course, all the patients. Thought Randy might have said something because of your position here." He looked Adam in the eye. That way Hunter knew, that Adam knew he told the truth… to a point.
"I wish I did know, Hunter. I am just as much in the dark as everyone else. Don't worry, it might delay things a day or two, but Doctor Ambrose will get a pump. He said so, even if he has to go find one himself." Adam also looked Hunter in the eye and spoke firmly.
Hunter gave a small smile. "Thanks. Makes me feel better to hear that. Oh, Shawn, what's wrong?" Hunter panicked when he saw his husband walk up to the desk.
Shawn greeted Hunter with a kiss. "Nothing, love. I just came to tell Adam, Megan had good results. Everything is fine now. Come on, I will explain. Thanks, Adam." He led Hunter down the hall to Megan's room.
"Poor kid, I am glad it helped. That was random. Hunter, asking about Randy as a Detective, not a parent. I can just tell." Adam spoke in a puzzled tone as he looked at Seth.
Seth crinkled his brow at Adam. "You must have read him wrong. What possible interest could the police have in a contract dispute like this?"
Adam gave another shrug. "Maybe. But, I know Hunter. He was asking as Detective Helmsley. I don't know why, but, I just know. Seth, something about all this… makes no sense. To be honest, I am a bit worried. There was also something in the way Randy spoke. It was almost like he was a different person. Maybe I am being stupid." He got the charts for his patients to get the shift report ready for Lita.
"At least you have Dean in the house. I'm going to isolation to do my final meds. Try not to think about it." Seth took off down the hallway. He loved his wing, but soon, isolation would be off limits because of the baby. He would miss his patients.
When Seth and Adam walked out to the parking lot after work, they were shocked. At least twenty security guards paced the area. It was unsettling.
"Now I am very concerned. Over a contract dispute? This is like something out of a gangster movie." Adam noted as he and Seth got into their cars parked next to each other.
Seth nodded. "Agreed. Well, see you tomorrow. Have fun with Dean." He gave Adam a wink and got into his car.
When Adam pulled into his garage, he was pleased to see Dean. The physician had a large box in his hands, labeled "SHOES". It made Dean's moving in very real and it made Adam smile.
"Hi honey, you're home." Dean greeted Adam with a kiss.
Adam laughed. "Need help?"
Dean shook his head. "Nope. This is the last one. Some little people are at your dinner table."
Adam laughed again. He and Dean went into the house. Adam set the security as Dean carried the box up the backstairs.
Adam greeted his children with hugs and kisses. He greeted Ida with a smile. Adam sat down at his place at the table.
Ida put a plate of pot roast, mashed potatoes, gravy, and peas down in front of Adam.
"Thank you, Ida. I love your pot roast." Adam grinned, it was his favorite meal.
Dean came down the stairs. He fell on his knees in front of Ida. "Please, ma'am, may I have some food? I am hungry and weak. Please?" He was extremely over dramatic.
"Miss Ida! Please! Feed our friend!" Jade cried out. She actually thought Dean was being serious.
Dean immediately got up. "Hey little lioness. Uncle Dean was being silly. Now, tell me what you did today." He sat down in the chair at the foot of the table. Ida put a full plate of food in front of Dean with a wink.
The conversation around the table was happy. Ida loved hearing all the laughter. Dean brought an extra glow to the atmosphere.
When the dessert of apple crumble had been eaten, Adam became the strict parent again.
"Okay, boys scrape plates, girls clear. Then you can watch TV for an hour, then baths and homework." Adam firmly gave his orders.
"Yes, daddy." Four voices answered. As Jade and Janice cleared the table, the boys scraped any food scraps into the trash.
Adam went up to change. Dean went to the family den. Ida supervised the children. When Adam went into the den, he smiled.
Dean sat on the couch and read some private patient files. He looked so handsome and professional. Adam quietly sat down close to Dean, but not so close as to bother the physician. It was cozy.
After a few minutes, Dean closed his last file with a sigh. "Trying to see who can wait to be admitted. County is alright, but, then I can't follow up with my patients."
Adam took one of Dean's hands in his. "Maybe it won't last too long. I know I should be worried about every patient, and I am. However, I am very worried for Megan. She needs that pump."
Dean kissed the back of Adam's hand. "I meant what I said. I will find one. Even if I have to drive to Saint Louis. I promise, baby." He pulled Adam in for a kiss.
The kiss continued till four giggles echoed from the doorway. Dean laughed and winked at the children. Adam flushed and waved his children into the room.
Jade whispered in James' ear. James gave his sister a nod. "Daddy, the Wizard of Oz is on tonight. If we do our homework during the commercials, can we watch the whole movie?"
Dean sat back. These were Adam's decisions. He would only offer an opinion if asked. Adam looked at Dean. If Dean wanted to be a step-parent, he had to be able to make these kinds of decisions. After all, sometimes Dean would be there alone with the kids, when Adam had a night shift.
"It's up to Uncle Dean." Adam stated simply.
Dean's brow arched at Adam. He then looked at the children. "Alright, but, homework must be done. If you mess about and rush it, movie goes off. Understood?" He spoke firmly.
"Yes, Uncle Dean. Come on, we can get our bags now, before it starts. Thank you, Uncle Dean. It is the girls favorite movie." James herded his siblings off to get their book bags.
Adam patted Dean's shoulder. "Good job. Sorry, but if you want to… well… maybe be a parent one day, you have to start now." He gave Dean a kiss.
Dean chuckled. "I figured as much. Plus, I love the Wizard of Oz." He winked as the children returned. They sat on the floor and Jordan turned on the TV and found the movie station. Jade clapped when the MGM lion, who happened to be named Jackie, appeared on the screen.
Dean put his arm around Adam, and the blond curled up to the auburn haired physician. It was a wonderful feeling for both of them. Their loneliness was gone.
When the first commercial came on, the four children pulled out their school work. They never had much, but the discipline was important for later grades when homework would increase.
Dean noticed that the four children worked independently, but helped one another when asked. He also saw that they worked carefully and didn't rush.
"Bring me your work when the movie comes back on. If you're doing alright, you can watch more." Dean spoke like a true parent.
"Yes, Uncle Dean." Jade spoke for her siblings this time.
Adam gave Dean a nod of approval. "Well done, dad." He spoke softly in Dean's ear.
Dean couldn't respond. The kids brought him their homework. The movie was back on. Dean looked at the papers. Two were math, two were English grammar. So far, everything looked perfect. Adam beamed proudly.
"I never ask for perfect grades. I only ask them to do the best they can." Adam explained his philosophy on school grades.
Dean smiled. "That's how it should be. I've seen a lot of parents push to hard." He gave Adam a small kiss.
During the next commercial, the quads finished their homework. This time Adam checked it over. "Well done. Okay, enjoy the rest of the movie." Adam beamed at his children. They put their finished work in their book bags.
When the movie was over, Adam shooed the children upstairs to take their baths. Dean went to take his shower. Adam spend the time helping his babies.
After his shower, Dean pulled something out of one of his boxes. He stood in the hallway. "Anyone want to hear a story? If you do, meet me on daddy's bed." Dean went to Adam's room and sat in the middle of the huge bed.
Four children and Adam dashed into the bedroom and piled onto the bed. Adam sat behind his children and cuddled them close.
"I brought one of my favorite books. Now, it's a chapter book, so one chapter a night. Or, would you rather hear a regular story?" Dean asked as he kept the book hidden.
"Chapter story." All four said at almost the same time.
Dean pulled out the book and showed it. "I knew it! I just knew it!" Jade clapped happily.
Dean smiled. "Smart lioness. Okay, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, chapter one, The Cyclone." Even Adam was entranced as Dean began the famous story. He held the book so the kids could see the illustrations on the pages that had them.
"...in spite of the swaying of the house and the wailing of the wind, Dorothy soon closed her eyes and fell fast asleep." Dean closed the book.
"The book is already good. Thank you, Uncle Dean." Jade hugged Dean. Dean's eyes glittered as he hugged Jade back. Jan soon joined the hug.
"Alright little money lions, time for bed." Adam moved to get off the bed.
Both Dean and Adam tucked the children into their beds with hugs and kisses.
Adam followed Dean to his bedroom. "Was this Cathy's?" Adam picked up the book Dean had just laid on the dresser.
"Yeah. I mowed six lawns to buy it for her. I could probably recite it, from memory, I read it to her so many times." Dean had begun to put clothes and underwear into the dresser.
"You constantly amaze me. You were a wonderful brother. You make a good dad too. I am glad you are here. Want some help." Adam asked as he watched Dean unpack.
"Hang those up, please? And no cracks abut the monkey suit. I have to wear it once a year to a doctor's dinner. At least I can drag you along this year." Dean nodded to the tuxedo in his collection of clothes.
Adam gave a wry chuckle. "Got one myself. Randy always took me to the Chamber of Commerce Ball. I do not miss it. I have two left feet for dancing." He hung Dean's dressier clothes in the closet.
"Hey, I have two right feet. We manged okay at the fundraiser. Do you like the symphony?" Dean asked as he unpacked his socks and put them in the dresser.
"Very much. Shawn and Hunter always take us to the holiday concert. I keep threatening to get season tickets, but with the quads and shift work, it's hard." Adam sighed. He liked doing things, but he didn't always get the chance. It was part of being not only a parent, but a nurse.
Dean grinned. "You have one now. I always get two season tickets. Now the second one will be used. Roman got tired of me dragging him along. Neither he nor Seth are big fans. We can always get a sitter to help Ida." He tossed the last pair of socks into the drawer, then closed it with his hip.
Adam hung up Dean's last pair of dress pants. "Sounds good to me. Are you bringing more things?"
"Yeah, over the weekend. Books and personal things. Oh, can I steal from the sample supplies?" Dean asked he put his doctor's bag and briefcase on a small table next to the door.
Adam gave an almost violent nod. "Please do. Help yourself to anything. So many get wasted. It's always more than I can use. I guess..." He was silenced when the door bell rang.
Dean followed Adam downstairs. "Who would come at eleven o'clock at night?" Dean asked with a bit of trepidation in his voice.
Adam looked out of the peep hole. "Oh fucking hell. Dean, the alarm, quick!" Dean entered the code, Adam opened the door.
A very bloody and bruised Randy Orton stood on the porch as Mike Mizanin held him up.
"Come in, get in here." Adam was stunned. Randy had been in a fight, and looked to be on the losing end.
Adam led the way to the kitchen. Dean quickly reset the security, then followed without a word. He went up the backstairs and got his medical bag.
Mike helped Randy to sit. "Adam, I'm sorry but your place was closer. You know Randy, no hospital. This was the only thing I could think of." He was worried and frantic.
"It's alright, Mike. What happened?" Adam asked as wet a clean dish towel.
Randy gave a grunt. "Fucker at the bar..." He hissed when Adam wiped his badly cut lip. Randy's shirt was torn, his left eye was swollen shut and there was a nasty cut on his temple. He was a literal bloody mess.
Dean returned, put his bag on the table and opened it. "This looks bad. You should go to the hospital. It needs stitches." Dean cleaned the cut gently, but it was a very bad cut.
"Someone swiped him with a broken bottle. He won't go to the hospital." Mike explained, he was nearly in tears.
"No hospital. Can't you sew it up?" Randy asked as Doctor and nurse worked together.
"Yes, but not here. He needs to lay down." Dean didn't like it, but he had a feeling it was either sew Randy up, or Randy wouldn't get any medical help.
Adam frowned. "We can go upstairs, to the second guest room. But try not to wake the babies, this would terrify them."
Between the three of them, they managed to get Randy upstairs. Adam led them to the second guest room, at the front of the house. It was well away from the children's rooms.
Mike stripped Randy down to his boxers and got Randy onto the bed. Dean and Adam had gone to wash up. Dean had a suture kit that came with scrub soap and gloves.
"Adam, he wasn't hit with a bottle. I've seen that kind of wound before, he was hit with the butt of a gun. He could have a concussion. Why won't he go to a hospital?" Dean scrubbed his hands with very hot water.
"He has a real fear of hospitals. He's never said why. I suppose in a bar fight… are you… a gun? Randy, what did you do?" Adam asked himself as he helped Dean into the surgical gloves.
Before anything could be done, the door bell rang again, followed by frantic bangs on the door.
Mike turned deadly. "Stay here!" He hurried down the stairs. He pulled out his gun as he went to the door.
Mike looked out of the peep hole. "Oh my fucking hell…"
