On Sunday, the children slept til seven. Adam was in the shower before the kids got up. Dean ordered the free breakfast again. On Sunday the menu was croissants, jelly, scrambled eggs and bacon. Fruit was also served.

By the time Adam and the children were dressed, room service had arrived. Once again, they ate out on the balcony. It was a beautiful late July day. The Arch gleamed in the sun.

"So, do you want to go to the ballgame or swim in the hotel pool?" Dean asked as he buttered a piece of croissant.

The quadruplets looked at each other. They had that connection of being able to talk without speaking. It always fascinated Adam.

James spoke. "Swimming! It's different indoors. No sunburn." He laughed and drank some juice.

"Good. Then, I will go meet with my friend Doctor Dreamer. When I get back, I'll teach you how to dive." Dean gave the kids a wink.

Jade clapped her hands. "Oh good. I want to learn. Daddy, you can learn too."

Adam laughed. "Yes, I can. I've tried to teach them but I just belly flop."

Dean smirked. "Roman and I were champion divers at college. Roman is really like a swan. It's his Samoan heritage, or so he says." He ate more croissant. It was one of his favorite types of bread, especially freshly baked.

"I've seen Roman's diving trophies, but didn't know you were on the team with him." Adam spoke with a smile.

"Well, I was. Of course you know Seth was on the swim team in high school. That's how they met, at the pool in college, before Seth went to nursing school." Dean ate another croissant, the rest of his breakfast.

Adam nodded. "According to Seth, it was nearly love at first sight. We can go to the pool an hour after you finish your breakfast."

The little family finished their meal. They all cleaned up and Adam let the kids roll the cart into the hallway.

Dean stepped out on the balcony to call Tommy. "… yes, I'll meet you there at one… Hey Tommy, do me a favor. Just put it in a paper bag… I just have a feeling… I will explain when I see you… okay, Tommy. See you soon, and thank you, it's really needed for the patient… okay… bye, Tommy." Dean ended his call and went back inside.

"I'm meeting him at one. I will walk over, it's only a block." Dean explained to Adam as the blond unpacked his swim shorts.

Adam pulled out his beach towel and flip-flops. "Sounds good. We should head back to KC between five and six. It will get them sleepy." Adam looked at his children in the second bedroom. They played a game of "Old Maid."

Dean took his swim things out of the bag. "That was my plan..." He stopped and pulled Adam into his arms and kissed him. "This has been fun. Maybe we can do it again sometime."

Adam smiled softly. "Yes, it has. I hope so too. I do enjoy getting away. Be sure to show Tommy Dreamer Megan's picture that I sent to your phone. I can't wait to see everyone's faces on Monday when you show them that pump. Who needs Drake Younger." Adam gave Dean a deep kiss.

"They are doing it again!" Jade cried out from the doorway of the second bedroom.

Jan pulled her sister back. "Leave them alone. It's what love is, you goose." She took her sister back to the card game.

Adam rolled his eyes and Dean chuckled. "Well, at least Miss Jan understands. Adam, why all J names and M middle names?" Dean asked as he laid back on the bed.

Adam flopped onto the bed on his stomach. "The J's are for my mom. Her name was Judith, Judy. The M's are from Randy. He first thought of Michael for Jordan as a play on Michael Jordan. Then he thought of all M's for their middle names. We chose not to use Judy or Randal Jr. because we thought it might make their siblings feel bad. We always have tried to keep any of them from feeling different, know what I mean?"

Dean nodded. "Yes, I do. Thne one can't say, I'm named after dad and you're not. You and Randy made a very wise decision. Adam would you like to have more children?" Dean asked as Adam moved to curl up to Dean.

"Yes, I would. The Doctor thinks I would be able to conceive easier now, because of the quads. I would like two more, but not at the same time, maybe three or four years apart. I'll tell you, one baby would be a breeze compared to four at once. It's hard to explain to a crying baby it has to wait. We rotated that too. Then, for some reason, James sensed it, he was always patient to wait. He also has a deeper understanding of things. As you have probably noticed, he is the spokesman for them."

"Daddy! It's been an hour, can we go to the pool now?" Jordan asked as he came to the room.

Adam sat up. "Yes, get changed. The we can go. Boys in the bathroom, girls in the room."

Four children scurried to change into their bathing suits and cover up robes. Adam went to the bathroom to change and Dean helped the children put their beach towels into their plastic beach bags. They also had a few small water toys and an inflatable ring.

Dean's heart beat a little faster when Adam appeared. Adam wore electric blue board shorts with white stripes down the sides. He wore a terry cloth cover up, but his bare chest was exposed. He looked sexy.

"Daddy, tie my string please?" Jade asked. She had a blue one piece swimsuit with a halter top tie. She couldn't quite tie it yet.

Adam tied Jade's top with a double knotted bow. "There you go, little lioness. Jan, do you need help, honey?" Adam asked as Jan tried to tie her string. She had the same swimsuit as her sister, only hers was purple.

"Please, daddy." Jan went to Adam. Adam tied her string the same as Jade's.

Jordan wore pink shorts with black stripes down the sides. James' shorts were just like Adam's. All four put on their terry cloth cover ups of the same ivory as Adam's.

"I'll take my stuff down and change when I get back. Okay, little lions, let's go." Dean spoke and carried his swim gear in an extra tote Adam had.

The indoor pool was on the roof of the hotel. There was a huge pool and a separate Jacuzzi. Adam was amazed, they were the only ones at the pool.

"Most people are probably going to the special ball game. Royals and Cards you know. Some kind of exhibition series." Dean set his bag on a table near the shallow end of the pool. Chairs, tables and loungers were spaced all around the pool deck. Adam put his bag down next to Dean's.

"Alright, you know the rules. Stay in the shallow end and no yelling, running or rough play. You get one warning, two means out of the pool. Understand?" Adam spoke with absolute authority and his expression matched.

"Yes, daddy." Came the four voice chorus.

"Okay, you can go in." Adam waved to the pool. He watched like a hawk. The pool had three curved steps down, that ran the width of the shallow end of the pool.

Dean sat down next to Adam and watched the children enter the water. "So, is it warm or cold?" He was curious.

Jade stood on the second step. "Warm. It's nice, Uncle Dean." She went down to the bottom step.

"Last time, the heater was off, the water was like ice." Dean chuckled.

Adam looked at Dean. "You've stayed here before? I thought it was odd the driver seemed to know you yesterday."

Dean grinned. "Many times. This isn't my first time to consult with Tommy. I've stayed here a dozen times or so. And no, never with anyone. Strictly business."

Adam smiled. "Dean, what or who in your past has nothing to do with us. But, I do love the honesty."

Dean took Adam's hand in his, but his eyes, like Adam's watched the kids. "I will always be honest. Oh, I will bring some sandwiches back. There is a great deli on the way. Anything they don't like." Dean asked and caressed Adam's had with his thumb.

"They love Rubens and so do I. They will eat nearly anything, so no problem." Adam was distracted by the joy of his babies.

Dean was once again entranced by the way Adam took simple joy in his children. It made his love for Adam grow deeper.

"Daddy, please blow up the ring?" Jordan asked as he stood on the bottom step.

"Alright." Adam waved. He pulled the clear plastic deflated ring from the bag of toys.

Dean reached out. "Here, I'll do it. You save blowing for later." He wiggled his brows at Adam.

"Dean! The kids!" Adam chastised quietly.

Dean couldn't react as he blew into the swim ring and easily inflated it. He gently tossed the ring into the shallow end of the pool.

"Thanks, Uncle Dean." Jordan waved.

Dean waved back. "Hey, go join them. I want to see you all wet." He smirked like an evil imp.

Adam rolled his eyes. "You are a man with a one track, dirty mind."

"Yes, but you love it. Now go, be my handsome, wet, merman." Dean nodded to the pool with another smirk.

Again, Adam rolled his eyes, but got up. He went to the steps of the pool. When he felt that the water was actually warm, he went in the pool. Adam went under and swam to his children. When he surfaced, the children laughed.

Dean thought Adam was splendid when wet. The light from the glass enclosed room made Adam look like a water nymph.

Adam began to play a game with his kids. He held the ring while they tried to throw a small plastic fish into the ring. They laughed when Adam would suddenly move the ring… but not enough for them to miss; too often.

Dean was so lost in watching, he nearly forgot the time. When his watch beeped the time, he came back to himself. It was time to meet Tommy.

Dean stood and went to the edge of the pool. "I'm going now. I will be back with some lunch. Be good for daddy."

"We will, Uncle Dean. Love you." Jade called out with the toy fish in her hand.

"Love you. See you later." Dean waved and left to go meet Dr. Tommy Dreamer.

When Dean emerged from the hotel, he was followed by Finn Bálor and Wade Barrett. They were followed by Bob Orton's men. Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes got some much needed sleep in their hotel room.

Dean was in a crowd of foot traffic as he got closer to Busch Stadium. The brick façade of the front entrance had six large arches. Dean was to meet Tommy at the far right arch. Dean didn't have to turn and look, his gut told him he had been followed. He just wasn't sure why. Did Drake have a tail on him as part of some underhanded plot between Adam and himself? Or maybe it had to do with the hospital. Well, it wouldn't happen.

Dean smiled when he saw Tommy, fully decked out to cheer the Cardinals to victory. The two friends greeted each other with a firm handshake and one armed brother hug.

"Let's go inside, eyes watching." Dean spoke softly to Tommy as they hugged.

Tommy arched his brow, but led Dean inside the entrance to the Stadium. It was extremely crowded. Tommy and Dean moved to a well hidden corner.

"So why is this more like a spy mission?" Tommy asked as he looked at Dean.

Dean went on to further explain about the contract mess and Drake. "… so I have a feeling Drake is plotting something. If he knew about this, he would try to interfere and stop it. Megan can't wait for a bunch of fucking hospital crap and a fucking ex-lover. No one but Adam and Megan know about this, not even her parents. Here, this is Megan Helmsley." He pulled out his phone and pulled up the photo of Megan Adam had sent.

Tommy smiled. "She's adorable. I read the file you sent on her. I agree she needs this. Well, here you go." Tommy handed Dean an ordinary looking brown shopping bag.

Dean pulled a check out of his pocket. It was made out to Tommy in the amount of $6,000. "Thanks, Tommy. You have just made this girls life so much better. Has your hospital had any issues with Orton Pharmaceutical?"

Tommy shook his head. "Not at all. Orton does a great job. We never have to wait for supplies like we did with Jericho Drug and Supply."

"Wait, you guys had Jericho before Orton? So did Saint Luke's. Now I am wondering, maybe Jericho is following me, to find out. I wish I knew what was really going on. We've already had to stop taking new patients and what medicine we do have will run out eventually. No one is thinking about the sick children. They are too busy worrying abut the money in their pockets. Funny part is, my Adam is Randy Orton's ex-husband. They have quadruplets, two girls, two boys. I love those little lions. I love Adam. No one is going to get in the way of that." Dean spoke firmly and clutched the paper bag in his grip.

Tommy let out a low whistle. "Wow, that's a lot of information, Dean. It does sound like a power play. Is McMahon friends with Jericho? If so, that could be your starting point."

Dean's brow crinkled in deep thought. "You might have something there, Tommy. I'm not sure, but it would be a reason. If McMahon wants Jericho back in the hospital it would explain a lot." He was even more confused.

Tommy laid a hand on Dean's shoulder. "Dean, you are a Doctor, not a Detective. You concentrate on your patients and leave the hospital crap to the McMahon's and Orton." He was worried Dean's thoughts were on the wrong things.

Dean looked at Tommy. "I do know that, but, Adam is part of it and so are the children. Because of his relationship with Orton, he is in the McMahon's firing line. The least they could do is make him miserable at work. I do find it strange that Drake just suddenly popped up. You've met him, Tommy. You know how slimy he can be. Fuck! There is something deeper here and Adam is either already in the middle or soon will be. I will do whatever it takes to keep Adam and the children safe. I've waited too long to lose him now, especially over some hospital shit."

Tommy rubbed his bearded chin. "I'm sure things will be alright. It's always worse when you don't know what is really going on. It's probably just stupid hospital stuff. You're worried because Adam is Randy Orton's ex-husband. My best advice is to just keep your eyes and ears open and your head down. Don't make a mountain out of a mole hill, but stay alert."

Dean let out a sigh. "Yeah. I've let Drake get to me, thinking crazy shit. I can't believe I once loved him. Compared to Adam, Drake is dust under my feet. Thanks, Tommy. You always make me see things better. I would have never gotten through blood studies without you. I can't wait for you to meet Adam and the kids, you will love them. Speaking of, I'd better get back. I promised them sandwiches from the deli and you have game to watch. Thank you again so much for this." Dean hugged Tommy.

Tommy returned Dean's hug. "You would do it for me. Take care, Dean. It will all work out. I will be pleased to meet your Adam and the children. Come again, we'll go to the museum or zoo. Take care, my friend. Good luck with Megan. She's the important one right now. See you soon." Tommy shook Dean's hand.

The two friends parted ways. Dean came out of the entrance. Finn Bálor nudged Wade Barrett. "There he is. Thank fuck, I thought he'd gone to the game. What is he carrying?"

Wade shrugged. "Probably got gifts for Orton's brats. Come on, its hot just standing here." He watched Dean. The doctor was headed toward the hotel.

Dean went into the Deli. He was pleased that the crowd had moved to the stadium. He was one of only six customers. He ordered six Ruben sandwiches and six cans of iced tea. He also bought twelve chocolate chip cookies. Dean would save them as the treat for on the ride home. As Dean waited for his order, he sent Adam a text.

"I'll be there in twenty with food. Love, Dean." Dean pressed send and pocketed his phone. His order was ready. Dean paid and picked up the large carry bag of hot sandwiches. He had another bag with the drinks and cookies. Dean also carried Megan's insulin pump like it was made of gold. Dean headed back to the hotel.

Adam sat at pool side and smiled when he got a message from Dean. When he read it, he smiled even more. Dean was on his way back to him.

"Okay you little fish, out of the pool. Uncle Dean will be here soon with lunch." Adam called out to his children. They were still the only ones at the pool.

The children got out of the pool. They carried their pool toys and put them down to dry. They put on their beach robes and sat down at the table with their daddy.

"Can we swim again after lunch, daddy?" Jordan asked as he toweled his head.

"For a while, but you have to wait a bit after you eat." Adam helped Jan dry her ponytail.

Adam grew concerned. Dean was late. It had been forty five minutes, not twenty. He looked at his cell phone with concern.

"Daddy? What's wrong?" James had noticed how worried his daddy looked.

Adam smiled. "Nothing, baby. Maybe it was crowded at the deli so Uncle Dean is..." He nearly fainted with relief when Dean came into the pool area.

Dean saw the worry on Adam's face when he leaned in to kiss the blond. After the kiss, he sat all the bags on the table.

"I'm sorry. I passed a Game Stop. I remembered I promised Megan that horse game, so I ran in. It took them a while to find it. I should have sent a text, but my hands were full." Dean explained as he sat down. He opened the bag of food and passed out the sandwiches and drinks.

"It's okay, but I did start to worry. Glad you found the game, cause I forgot to remind you. Did it go well with Doctor Dreamer? Adam asked as he unwrapped the foil of his Ruben sandwich.

Dean chewed his bite of food, then spoke. "Perfect. It's the most advanced on the market. It will change her life. Tommy is anxious to meet you and the little lions. Maybe next time we come here, we can meet up with him. So did you have fun, my little lions?" He turned his attention to the children.

For the next half hour, the six chatted happily. Adam was amazed at how hungry his children were. Normally they only ate half a deli Ruben, now they devoured them entirely. He guessed it was all the play in the pool.

After they finished eating and cleaned up their trash, Dean went to the changing room. When he returned, Adam had lust in his eyes. Dean wore deep purple board shorts with no design on them. He had a beach towel draped around his neck. His chiseled body looked like perfection to Adam.

Dean sat down with the children. He began to tell them how to dive. He had them practice the position on the deck of the pool. Dean gently corrected when needed and praised when they got it right.

Adam watched with love in his heart. Dean was so good and patient with the children. He still had fears about love, but he also knew Dean was worth the risk.

When it was time to get back into the pool, Dean and Adam went to the deep end. The four children were on the pool deck, ready to try to dive in.

"Okay, James first. You wait until I say okay, before the next one dives." Adam spoke firmly. He didn't want all four in the deep water at once.

"Arms over your head, arch forward, toes on the edge. Breathe… now go!" Dean instructed from the deep water.

James dove. It was good for a first time. He came up and Adam swam with him to the shallow end.

"Well done, son." Dean called out.

"Yes, very good, baby. Daddy is proud." Adam beamed at his son. He told James to sit on the step. Adam swam back to the deep end.

Over time, each child dove four times. They were now tired and sat at poolside to dry off.

"Uncle Dean, you dive now. Please?" James asked as he wrapped a towel around himself.

"One. Then up to the room for showers and hair washing." Dean stated firmly.

Adam licked his lips, Dean's muscles flexed as he prepared to dive from the diving board.

Dean sprung into the air and did a perfect swan dive. He cut into the water like a knife, and hardly any water splashed up. It was near perfection.

Everyone cheered as Dean emerged from the pool. He took a silly bow that made Adam and the children laughed.

For the next hour, Dean supervised showers and hair washing. Adam packed up. As usual too much had been packed, but better too much than not enough.

Adam showered, then Dean. At six thirty, the family loaded into the Kia. Dean pulled something out of a bag.

"I noticed you don't have a copy of this in the car." Dean held up a DVD of The Wizard of Oz. Jan and Jade clapped.

"Thank you, Uncle Dean!" All four children chanted. The boys loved the movie as much as their sisters… almost.

Dean put a bag next to the coffee. The hotel had gladly filled the thermos for Dean. There were also four pints of ice cold milk to have later with their cookies.

Adam made sure his children were properly buckled into their booster seats. He then slipped into the passenger seat. He put the new movie into the DVD player.

"I will start the movie when we're on the Interstate. Uncle Dean has to concentrate on the traffic, so be quiet. We don't want to break his nerves." Adam chuckled with his children.

Wade Barrett drove, as Finn Bálor rode shotgun and kept an eye on the Kia. DiBiase and Rhodes followed McMahon's men. Bob Orton's men followed to the city limits.

Dean safely maneuvered through the traffic. Today was a double header baseball game so the fans were still at Busch Stadium.

At the ramp for Interstate 70, Dean stopped for gas. Adam got chicken nugget meals for the kids with fruit and no fries. He got a cheeseburger meal for himself and Dean wanted a chicken sandwich with no fries.

They were soon on the Interstate headed back to Kansas City. Adam started the movie and ate his food. Dean ate his sandwich as Adam unwrapped more it after each bite.

An hour later, Dean spoke. "Open that bag, baby." He pointed to the bag the hotel had put the milk and cookies in.

Adam grinned. "You spoil them, but thank you. Here, from Uncle Dean." Adam gave each child two chocolate chip cookies, and a pint of milk that was still cold.

"Thank you, Uncle Dean came the four voiced chant.

Dean smiled. "You're welcome, my little lions. I think on a trip, you can spoil a little." He then laced the fingers of his right hand with the fingers of Adam's left.

"What do you think will happen tomorrow..." Adam was interrupted when his cell phone rang. It was Seth's ring tone.

"It's Seth, I hope nothing is wrong." Adam stated as he pulled out his phone and answered the call.

"Hey Seth, you alright?… oh good… what?… oh… well, it's fine with me, odd but fine… about half way home… okay… yep, see you tomorrow… love you too, buddy… I will… bye." Adam ended the call.

"Are Seth and Roman okay?" Dean asked as he took hold of Adam's hand again.

"They are fine. Roman said be at the gym in the morning. Seth and I will stay on days for another week. Seth said Stephanie had changed the schedule and asked him to tell me. Strange she would do that, this late. I don't mind, but it is very strange. The good thing is, now I will be able to see the reaction when you pull out that pump for Megan. Well, no night shift for..." Adam had turned to tell his children, but all four were sound asleep as the movie came to an end.

Adam turned off the DVD player and turned to the soft rock station, and turned the volume down low.

"Swimming wore them out. The good thing is, now I won't have to sleep alone next week." Dean stated as he raised Adam's hand and kissed the back of it softly.

"You are something else, Doctor Ambrose." Adam laughed softly.

When Dean pulled into the garage of Adam's house, Ida came out to greet them. She figured help would be needed.

Ida stayed with Jan and Jordan as Adam carried James and Dean carried Jade upstairs to their bedrooms.

"I'll change them later." Adam stated as they went to get Jan and Jordan. Ida had begun to unload bags and suitcases.

Dean was impressed with the way Adam changed his children into their pajamas and night gowns and tucked them in without disturbing their sleep. Adam beamed when Dean kissed each child and also tucked them in.

Adam lead dean to his bedroom. "You really do love them, don't you?" His eyes sparkled as he looked at Dean.

Dean pulled Adam into his arms. "Yes, I do and not just because they are your children. They are good kids and only want to be happy and love you. I also love them because they are a part of you. I love them, for them. I love you too. That love grows stronger each moment I am with you." He pulled Adam in for a slow, languid kiss.

Adam deepened the kiss and ran his fingers up into Dean's hair. When they broke the kiss, Adam spoke. "I love you, Dean. It also grows deeper by the day."

Dean caressed Adam's face. "You're the best person I've ever met or ever been with. I want to make love to you, Adam." He pulled Adam in for another slow, burning kiss.

Adam led Dean to the king sized bed. They both removed their clothes as they moved. By the time they slid under the covers, they were naked.

As Dean and Adam made gentle, tender love, other things happened.

Finn Bálor and Wade Barrett sat at the large table in the McMahon's mansion. They gave a detailed report on their trip to St. Louis.

"… the only time we lost sight was at the stadium. There were just too many people and he got out of our sight when a group of drunks cut in front of us. He was in the stadium for about thirty minutes. He came out with a bag. He probably got team gifts for the Orton brats. He went to a deli, got Ruben sandwiches. Ambrose then went into a Game Stop. He bought a movie and a video game. He then put some stuff in the Kia and took the food to the pool. The ate, swam and left. Then they returned to KC. Orton Juniors men never saw us. We are sure Orton Senior had two men watching us, but, we didn't react. That's it, sir, ma'am." Wade finished his report with a nod.

"Well done, gentlemen. At least nothing worthwhile happened. I thought perhaps Ambrose was up to something, like getting some medical supplies. Mister Younger, I have arranged for Adam to be on day shift. Tomorrow morning, before you leave for Jefferson City, you are to tell Adam you're on your way to personally get an insulin pump for Megan Helmsley. That will be the first step of getting Adam on your side. We just have to be slow and careful. Then soon, Adam will be ours and Randal Orton will bow down to the power of the McMahon family." Stephanie spoke with a smirk. Her father, Vince, beamed proudly at his daughter.
