On Saturday morning, several vehicles were headed to the Worlds of Fun Amusement Park. It was going to be a very interesting day. Especially for some, but not so much for others. Madam Fate was highly amused. She wasn't yet sure just how she would deal out her deck of cards.

Dean parked the Kia in the parking lot that was reserved for those that held gold Season Passes. Adam turned in the passenger seat to speak to his children.

"Now, you remember the rules. No wandering off, no asking for things and no fighting. Do you all have your ID bracelets on?" Adam spoke sternly to his children.

"Yes, daddy." James spoke and held up his arm. He had a blue elastic bracelet around his left wrist. Jade's was light blue, Jan's was purple and Jordan's was pink.

The bracelets had their names, birth-date and Adam's cell and house phone numbers. That way if something happened, the authorities would know who to contact. The bracelets had been Randy's idea and it was good one.

Dean also turned to speak. "And no eating everything in sight. I don't want to have to treat a bunch of upset tummies."

Jade laughed. "Don't worry, Uncle Dean We won't break yours or daddy's nerves. We will be too busy having… worlds of fun!" Her comment made everyone laugh.

When they got out of the Kia, Jade and Jan held hands and skipped. Jordan and James walked side by side. Dean and Adam held hands and followed the quadruplets. It was a beautiful, but hot August day.

"Too bad Seth didn't feel good this morning, but this heat wouldn't be good for him. They really wanted to come with us." Dean spoke as they walked to their entrance gate.

Adam gave a low chuckle. "I will remember being hot and miserable. Hopefully Seth's morning sickness will end soon. He said it was better, but as I also remember, it doesn't always want to let go. Slow down girls, and don't get too far ahead." Adam called out to Jade and Jan as they happily skipped.

Jade suddenly stopped. "Dad! It's dad and Mizzie!" Jade screamed as she saw Randy and Mike standing by the season pass holder's entrance.

Randy beamed when he heard Jade's distinctive, loud voice. The four children ran towards him as Dean and Adam ran to keep up.

Randy knelt down and embraced his children as they fell into his open arms. The smile on Randy's face outshone the sun. Mike's smile was just as bright because Randy was so happy. His love for Randy grew even deeper.

"Dad, are you spending the day with us?" Jordan asked as Randy moved to stand at his full height.

Randy nodded. "Yep, the whole day. You don't mind, do you? I can always go back home if you want, but it would make Mike and I sad."

Jade put her hands on her hips. "Don't be silly, dad. We want you and Mizzie here. Don't worry, we promise not to break your nerves." She gave Randy a very Adam like look.

Everyone laughed. Dean and Randy finally had a chance to shake hands. As Dean shook Mike's hand, Adam hugged Randy.

"I am so glad you made it. I didn't tell the kids in case you had to cancel. You do know, you will have to ride the big rides with them." Adam gave Rand a playful nudge with his elbow. Adam wasn't fond of the big thrill rides.

Dean spoke up. "No Timber Wolf. I don't want the little lions anywhere near it." He thought of the poor little girl who died because of the ride.

Randy gave Dean a look of confusion. "I will explain later..." Adam nodded toward the children, then spoke again. "But, Dean is right." He spoke softly as they stood in the short line to get in.

Drake parked his car. "That almost looks like Adam's Kia...oh...it is." He noticed the license plate, which he knew to be Adam's.

Justin rubbed his lightly bearded chin. "It's a big place. He will too busy watching his kids. But, we can leave if you want."

Drake thought for a moment. "No, you're right. I have an idea. If they do happen to see us, I will say I wanted to show you around, being new to the area. I will make it almost sound more like business than anything. Like showing you where Make A Wish sends kids sometimes. I came for some information and asked you to join me."

Justin smiled. "Yes, that would work. Chances are we won't even be noticed. Keep it simple and be casual. But, let's wait a few minutes, give them time to get into the park. Don't want to meet them at the gate." He leaned back in his seat to wait.

In the main parking lot, the other lieutenants of the McMahon faction made their way into Worlds of Fun through the general entrance. Even Drake and Justin would have a hard time recognizing them. They blended into the crowd like ghosts.

Members of the Orton faction were also spread out among the crowd. Only one man was close, Brett DiBiase. Randy and his family would never be out of his line of sight.

After they entered the park, Janice looked at her parents. "Can we have Cinnabon for breakfast?" Her sister and brothers joined Jan and looked with anxious eyes.

Randy looked at both Adam and Dean. "What do you think?" He didn't want to just come in and take over the plans for the day.

Dean smiled. "That was the plan." Adam nodded in agreement.

"Then Cinnabon it is. But, only one each, with light icing." Randy spoke to the quads.

"Thank you, dad, daddy, Uncle Dean and Mizzie." James took over as the spokes-child.

Once again, the girls skipped. Mike skipped with them, it made Randy laugh. While a deadly bodyguard, Mike was a kid at heart.

The boys walked with Randy. Dean and Adam held hands and walked along with Randy and the boys.

As the little Orton family went to have breakfast, Drake and Justin entered the park. Once they entered, Justin pulled up short. He leaned in closer to Drake.

"Drake, those look like Orton's men." Justin nodded to Heath Slater and Zack Ryder.

Drake nodded. "Come on." He indicated for Justin to follow him. He went around the corner of one of the buildings.

"I'll call." Justin pulled out his cell phone, the call connected. "Ma'am..." Justin went on to explain to Stephanie McMahon. "Yes, ma'am...thank you...we will. Goodbye, ma'am." Justin ended the call. "She's sending our guys. We are to ignore them, and have a good time. She said to call if we saw anything important." He relayed the message from their boss. Stephanie hadn't exactly told him the entire truth.

At the McMahon mansion, Stephanie smiled. No need to tell Justin she knew where they were. Her men were already at the park. What pleased her was that Justin had called. It proved Justin was loyal to the faction. Stephanie continued to enjoy her morning, sun bathing by the pool.

Shane McMahon flashed his season pass and entered the park. If anyone saw him, they wouldn't think twice. Shane went to Worlds of Fun nearly every weekend when he was home from college. He just wish he knew what was going on. Why did his sister want to kidnap Adam Copeland-Orton in the first place.

Shane only ever heard bits and pieces of conversations. He'd planted listening devices in the house. The only problem was, there was a device in the house that caused static. He guessed it was some kind of scrambler. That was something criminals had. What kind of criminals could a Hospital Administrator and Head of the Children's Ward be. Shane worried about his father and sister. He wanted and needed answers…and maybe better equipment to listen with.

The quadruplets finished their breakfast. "Come on, guys. We will go wash hands and faces." Mike stood and pointed to the water fountain that was next to the Cinnabon shop.

Randy, Adam and Dean watched as the kids let Mike help them clean up. "He is really good with them." Randy spoke with a soft smile.

Adam too smiled. "Yes, he is. Ran, thanks for coming. It's nice to do things as a family. I miss that part of it." Adam spoke honestly.

"Um...me too…but..." Rand was surprised Adam would say that in front of Dean.

Dean understood Randy's reaction. "He is right, Randy. If nothing else, you are a family. Now, Mike and I get to be a part of that. Nothing will ever change the fact that you and Adam are the parents of those little lions. I thank you for letting me share in that. It's only natural Adm would miss it, and, I bet if you were honest with yourself, you miss it too. That's why I encouraged Adam when he wanted to invite you today. Those kids need to know, that no matter what, divorce or not, that they have the love of both their parents. You're showing them that despite the divorce, you can do things together with them." Dean took his last sip of coffee as he finished speaking.

Adam quickly swiped the tear that ran down his cheek. Jade saw the tear as she came back to her family.

"Daddy, we haven't done anything yet, but is your nerve broken?" Jade was worried.

Adam smiled and hugged Jade. "No, baby. My nerve isn't broken. I just had something in my eye. Now, what do my monkey lions want to do first?" He was glad Jade didn't ask more questions.

"Le Taxi, daddy. Mizzie is going to let James drive." Jade stated as her siblings joined them.

Randy chuckled. "That's my Mike. Okay, Le Taxi it is." He gave Mike a kiss on the cheek.

The group took off for the ride area. Mike skipped with all four kids. Randy soon joined them. The quads loved it. Dean looked at Adam. Adam nodded. They quickly joined in the skipping.

Finn Bálor and Wade Barrett looked at each other. Finn spoke. "It's enough to make you sick." They watched as the group of four kids and four adults skipped past them.

Wade sighed. "Yes, and no. That could have been Alberto and I. This baby will never know skipping with her father..." His words faded.

Finn put a hand on his friend's shoulder. "I'm sorry, mate. I didn't think. I'm not used to you expecting yet. But, how do you know it's a girl?" He did feel bad for Wade.

Wade smiled softly. "Alberto wanted at girl. Somehow, I just know it is. Oh, I will love a boy just as much, but this is Alberto's little girl." He spoke with utter confidence.

Finn nodded. "Then a girl it is. Come on, we have work to do. Just tell me when you need a rest. It is hot today." They casually strolled off to keep an eye on Orton.

Randy and Dean sat and waited on a park bench. Adam had the girls and Mike had the boys. They "drove" little taxi cars around a 1,700 foot course.

"Dean, thank you for the kind words earlier. I do appreciate the fact that you respect me as the quads father. Most guys wouldn't want the ex around. You're a good man, Dean. The kids really love you too. I want you to know, I'm fine with that. They have enough love for all of us." Randy spoke with honesty, as a parent, not a mob boss.

Dean put a hand on Randy's shoulder. "Thank you, Randy. I love them, but you are their father and always will be. Let me ask, what would you say if I wanted to marry Adam? Would we have your blessing?"

Randy looked at Dean. He could tell the Physician was serious. "Yes, Dean. You would have my blessings. I can tell how much you love Adam, and the children. So, when?" Randy was honest once again.

"Thank you again, Randy. Not sure yet. Of course, please don't mention it. I want to surprise him, when the time is right. I have a ring, but, it's not time yet. Adam needs more time to realize what he wants. I know the kids want it, but that's not a reason to get married. It will happen, when it is meant to happen. I promise you one thing, it won't make any difference to your relationship with the children or with Adam. Any time he wants to do something with you and the kids, that's fine with me. I will have my own time with them, no need to interfere with yours. I also want you to know, even though I've said it before, they will always be safe with me." Dean spoke firmly with a nod of respect to Randy.

"I can say nothing but thank you. You are better for Adam. We just clashed too much. For me, he's a better friend. Oh, here they come." Randy smiled and pulled out his phone as did Dean. The both waved and shot photos as their loved ones passed by.

The kids, Mike and Adam all made silly faces as they passed the two cell phones cameras. It made Randy and Dean laugh when they sat back down, they compared pictures.

"We sound like bad dad jokes." Randy chuckled as he and Dean pocketed their phones.

Dean laughed. "Well, your a dad, I'm kind of a dad, and we tell jokes. So, oh yeah...bad dad jokes are...bad." He gave a shrug.

Randy laughed. "Yeah, they are. Um…Dean...if they want to call you dad too, I wouldn't object." He gave Dean a pointed look.

Dean shook his head. "No, Randy. It is kind of you to say it, but, I will not take that from you. You're their dad. I am happy and content with Uncle Dean. I know my place. I don't mean that how it sounds, I mean I know I am not their father. I will reiterate, all decisions about the quads are up to you and Adam. I will back those decisions. Of course, I will enforce day to day discipline or correct things. You know what I mean. I will also encourage Adam to keep you in his heart, I have my own place there. I am proud to share it with you. Now, enough serious talk, here they come." He nodded to the kids, Mike and Adam as they skipped towards the bench he and Randy occupied.

Randy stood as did Dean. "Thanks, Dean. I mean that. Now, let's have fun." He greeted his children as the all talked at once about the ride. Dean gave Adam a soft kiss in greeting. They followed Randy, Mike and the quads as they went to the next ride of choice, the carousel.

Justin and Drake stayed within sight of the little Orton group, but managed to stay out of the line of vision. As they walked, they talked and got to know each other better. They began to realize, they might have a real connection.

Brett DiBiase moved liked a shadow as he kept Randy and his family in sight. He knew the McMahon's men were there, all over the place. He also knew his brethren from the Orton faction were there. Brett didn't care, Randy and his family were the only ones that concerned him.

Shane McMahon waited to ride the Grand Carousel, it was one his favorites. It had been built in 1926 and had landed at Worlds of Fun a few years ago The ride had 64 beautiful, hand carved, wooden horses. Jewels were incorporated into the horses high swept manes. It was a marvelous piece of amusement park history.

"Shane? Shane, is that you?" Adam called out when he saw the young law student in line to ride the carousel.

Shane spun around. He smiled when he saw Adam. "Hi, Adam. Small world seeing you here. Are these your quads? The have grown so much since I last saw them." He had no reason to fear seeing Adam. As a matter of fact, he might learn something if he hung around with Adam...if he was asked.

Adam beamed. "Yes. Kids, this is Shane, you've met before, but you were just toddlers. It was at the hospital Christmas party. Shane..." Adam introduced each child to Shane. "...of course, you know Doctor Ambrose. This is Randy Orton, my ex, and his boyfriend Mike Mizanin. This is Shane McMahon, Vince's son, Stephanie's brother. He attends Harvard Law School. He started clerking for Shawn Helmsley when Megan was in the hospital. It's great to see you Shane? Are you here alone?" Adam asked brow arched. He really liked Shane. He was absolutely nothing at all like his sister.

Randy and Mike were on instant alert. A McMahon was right in front of them. However, on the outside the both smiled like friendly pups.

Randy shook Shane's hand. "Pleased to meet you, Shane. Law school, huh? That's a hard row to hoe. If Shawn hired you, you must be very good." He smiled, but was wary.

Shane ducked his head. "I just do my best. Yeah, Harvard is tough. Yes, Adam, I am here alone. I'm an amusement park junkie. Invited my sister, but, let's be honest, can you see here in a place like this? Besides, Steph and I… let's just say we manage to tolerate each other..." He turned to the kids. "Nice to meet you all again. Any one wanna ride the carousel with me?" Shane laughed when all four kids raised their hands.

"Randy, Adam do you mind? I'd love to take them. I love kids." Shane looked at the parents of the quadruplets.

Adam grinned. "I don't mind, Shane. Have fun kids. Daddy will wait for you right here." He pointed to a bench that faced the carousel.

"Go ahead. Kids, you mind Mister Shane I will wait with daddy and Uncle Dean." Randy smiled at Shane. If the kids felt safe with Shane, then it was alright. Besides, Mike was going with them. He knew his kids would be safe.

"Come on, kids. Bet my horse beats yours!" Mike grinned as the line moved so they could get on the ride. Mike, Shane and the quads headed for their chosen horses.

Adam laughed as he, Dean and Randy sat on the bench. "Trust Jordan to find the pink horse. I think he would paint the world pink if he could."

Randy chuckled. "Yes, he would. I had to repaint his room at my place. I don't mind though. He is right, you can't look at pink and frown. So, tell me about Shane. He seems like a nice guy."

It was Dean who spoke. "He is. He often comes to the hospital to do bingo or play time with the kids when he's home on a break. He is fantastic with them. It drives his sister nuts. Her office shares a wall with the playroom."

Adam laughed. "Yeah, it does. She hates it when the kids play too loud. I love it when he comes. He is smart and creative. He wants to do a paper bag puppet show. It will give the long term patients something to look forward to. Now that Megan is home, maybe Shane will have the time to do the puppet show." He watched his kids on the carousel as he spoke.

"Sounds like fun. From what he said, I take it he and his sister aren't close?" Randy was curious, but for reasons, Adam couldn't imagine.

Adam frowned a bit. "No, they aren't. I don't know any personal stuff, but, I think Shane is...ignored by Vince and Stephanie. It makes me sad. I hope nothing ever makes our kids like that. I think, if he could, Shane would change his last name." Adam let out of a bit of a sigh.

"I hope not either. Our kids are so close and I hope that never changes. So I guess Shawn must think highly of him. He wouldn't hire just anyone for his law office. By the way, how is Meggie Pops?" Randy remained calm and casual, but he was still very curious.

"She's doing really well. Dean and I are going to see her tomorrow. The kids have a birthday part to go to. One of their friends at school. Pizza party at Chucky Cheese. Yes, Shawn really likes Shane. He will probably offer him a place at Helmsley and Associates." Adam replied as the carousel ride began to slow down to stop.

Randy nodded. "Oh yes, James told me about the party. They bought Lion King things for birthday gifts. Tell Meggie Pops I love her. You're right about Shawn too. He has a natural instinct about people." He stood. The kids, Mike and Shane were on the way back.

"Daddy! Dad! Uncle Dean! Shane is so funny! We pretended we were in Mary Poppins land!" Jade spoke with very loud excitement.

Randy grinned at Jade. "That's great, honey. However, the entire park doesn't need to know."

"Sorry, dad. I don't wanna break nerves." Jade spoke in a quieter tone of voice.

With laughter, and an invitation from Adam for Shane to join them, the family went off to enjoy more of the amusement park.

Finn and Wade stood behind a food stand and watched the Orton family. They looked at each other when they saw Shane McMahon with them.

"What the fuck is he doing with them?" Finn asked as Shane let one of the little girls ride on his back, like an uncle or something.

Wade gave a shrug. "I have no idea. But, I also know Shawn knows nothing about the real family business. Vince said Shane isn't...part of the family in that way. Stephanie barely tolerates her brother. So, he can't spill any secrets."

Finn nodded. "Ah yes, I remember something Drew told me. I guess when Shane was born, something happened and his mom died. Vince blames Shane and so does Stephanie. Poor kid, kind of lives to his own drum." He recalled what he'd been told a few years ago. The pair continued to watch their quarry.

Drake and Justin also noticed Shane was with Randy and his family. Justin pulled out his phone and snapped some pictures. He sent them to Stephanie. He thought she should know.

"You are a serious player, Justin. I was just going to tell her later." Drake wasn't sure what to make of Justin's actions. Was he trying to score extra points with Stephanie or, was he trying to make points to cover something up?

Justin grinned at Drake. "I take my business seriously. Wouldn't you want to know if your little brother was associating with the enemy?" His father had taught him well and he needed to prove himself to the McMahon's.

Drake gave a shrug. "Yeah, I suppose so. Well, one thing for sure, you're loyal."

"Loyalty is everything, Drake. I'm loyal to any thing I do. That was the first lesson my father taught me." Justin explained with a smirk.

Ted and Cody, from Randy's faction, sat at a table in front of one of the restaurants. The enjoyed hamburgers and onion rings, with milkshakes. They were startled when Randy and his family approached the same restaurant. Shane McMahon was with them.

"Well hey there, guys. Cody need his roller coaster fix?" Mike asked when he saw his fellow faction members. He made it appear like a chance, casual meeting.

Ted laughed. "Yeah. I finally got him off the rides long enough to eat. You having a family outing?" He too made it sound casual.

Randy nodded. "Yes, too nice a day not to. Everything alright?" He gave his men a pointed look.

Cody responded. "Yeah, but some of the lines are really long." He gave the code Randy had worked out the night before. He'd just told Randy that McMahon's men were also at the park.

Randy nodded. "That they are. Not much to do about it though. Just keep your eyes out for the shorter lines." He gave a coded response with a laugh. He'd actually told them to just keep watch. There wasn't anything they could really do about it.

Both Ted and Cody nodded. Ted spoke. "Yes, maybe we can catch shorter lines during lunch. That's why we eat early. Take care, see you at the office on Monday."

"See you Monday. Cody, don't make Teddy sick. Have fun." Randy went into the restaurant to catch up with his family.

Inside the restaurant, Adam and the kids sat at a large table. Dean and Mike waited for their order. Randy joined them. Mike gave Randy a kiss.

"Sorry. Ran into Ted and Cody. You know Cody and amusement parks. They were griping about the long lines. I told them to just relax and enjoy." Randy chuckled as he gave Mike the code loaded reply.

Mike grinned. "Teddy is always so uptight. That's why Cody drags him along. Oh, I ordered you a cheeseburger, fries and iced tea."

"Thanks. Um…did you pay?" Rand asked his lover. He didn't want Adam out the money, he worked too hard for it.

"No. Dean did. He insisted. Our order is up, I gotta go help the Doc." Mike gave Randy a quick kiss, then went to help Dean carry the food. Randy stepped up to help as well.

Randy sat down between his sons. "Did you thank Uncle Dean for the lunch?"

"Yes, dad. But, thanks again, Uncle Dean." James spoke first to Randy, then Dean.

"Then I'd better say it. Thank you, Dean. Also, Adam thank you again for inviting us. So what's after lunch?" Randy asked as he unwrapped his cheeseburger.

Adam answered his ex. "The Peanuts Show. They need a bit of a sit down and cool off time." He didn't want the kids to get over hot and tired. That made for cranky children.

"Sounds good. Let's eat up so we can get good seats." Randy encouraged his children.

After a few minutes, Randy spoke again. "By the way, where is Shane?" He'd suddenly noticed the man wasn't with them.

Dean laughed. "Wondered when you'd notice. He got a text message. He frowned, then said he had to go. He didn't explain any further." He gave a shrug and continued to eat.

"Happens. He was fun." Randy commented simply. Inside he wondered why. Was he called away for a reason? Were he or his children about to be attacked? Randy needed to find a way to speak to his men, but how.

Mike could tell exactly what Randy thought. "Um, Ran? If you don't want to see the show, maybe we could ride the Mamba. They aren't tall enough yet." He spoke softly.

Randy gave a nod. "That's a good idea. Adam would you mind? We will meet you after the show." He gave Adam an arched brow.

"It's fine with us, Ran. You and Mike need some alone time. After the show is fine. We're going to the petting zoo, just meet us there. You can buy the goat food." Adam gave Randy a smile. He hoped for a little alone time with Dean later.

"Tell you what. After the petting zoo, Dean can take you on a grown up ride. It's only fair." Randy could read Adam like a book.

Dean grinned. "Thanks, Randy. We will do just that." Randy was okay in his book.

Jade rolled her eyes. "You just wanna go off and kiss." The other three kids giggled at Jade's words.

"There is nothing wrong with that, Jade. That's what love is." James spoke firmly to his sister.

It made the four adults laugh. They continued to enjoy their meal and chatted happily.

Shane McMahon sat in his car. He'd been surprised when Stephanie told him to come home with no reason given. He debated. What did he owe his sister? Or even his father? He gave a sigh and started his car. Maybe there was something wrong. He headed toward home.

Justin and Drake had watched Shane leave. Justin looked when his cell phone alerted to a text message. He pulled out his phone and opened the message. He read it out loud for Drake to hear.

"Get out of the park. Can't afford for you to be seen. Something is going to happen. It will get Orton's attention. See you at the mansion in an hour." Justin finished reading.

Drake nodded. "Let's go. With traffic, we will just make it in an hour."

Justin also nodded. He sent Stephanie an reply that said they were on the way. He stopped. "Give me a couple of minutes, gotta take a piss." He dashed to the nearby men's room.

Around the park, Wade, Finn, Sheamus, Drew and Cesaro all got a text message from Stephanie. "At the first chance, grab one of the Orton brats. Do not harm the brat, just make sure the brat is lost in the park. I want Orton shaking in his shoes. Stephanie."

A few minutes later, McMahon's men met in a men's room. They locked the door so no one else could come in. They quickly made their plan. The all knew exactly what to do. The left the men's room, one at a time, several minutes apart.

The good thing, one one suspected anything. The bad thing, none of Randy's men had noticed either.

Randy Orton's men had no idea their boss was about to have the fright of his life.

The amusement park was about to become Worlds Of Not So Fun.
