Summary: Reedus is once again rolling in money when a portrait of Juvia is commissioned….

Pairings: Gray/Juvia, implied Gray/Lucy (in Juvia's head), some general friendship feels, and some implied one-sided Reedus/Juvia (in Gray's head).

After an exhausting day that consisted travelling with Natsu, beating Natsu up, beating all the bad guys and that monster up, being chased by Magic Council guards, being beaten up by Erza for losing half the reward money due to damages, and travelling with Natsu again (and Lucy crying over the loss of rent money), Gray really just wanted to collapse and never wake up again.

Which was why when he came in, shrugged off his shirt and yanked his trousers off, he eagerly collapsed onto his sofa and shut his eyes.

It took five minutes to realise two things, one, Juvia was standing in his kitchen holding out a martini, and two, there was fucking giant portrait of her in a bikini over his fireplace.

His eyes shot open.

He glanced at Juvia, who merely tilted her head and smiled sweetly at him, and then he glanced at the portrait where the painted Juvia was lying in a provocative position, her bikini revealing way too much, and a smoky look on her face that Gray never recalled her wearing before.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!"

"Welcome home," Juvia beamed, if it had been any other girl Gray would be a pile of ash by now, but not Juvia, Juvia always forgave him, "Gray-sama! Juvia had missed you!"

"Erm," Gray shifted as he grew uncomfortably aware that he was half naked, "….I missed you too?"

Juvia's smile was so radiant that Gray could have sworn he had gone blind. What did she do, learn light magic from Loke or something?

"Juvia has made Gray-sama a martini, just the way he likes it, extra vodka," Oh thank God Gray needed that drink! The day had been an utter nightmare. "And Juvia has been cooking all afternoon so Gray-sama could have a big, hearty, meal to rebuild his strength. Juvia has also done some cleaning and livened the place up a bit more, so Gray-sama could relax in a calming environment."

Huh…..he did wonder why his clothes had vanished from the floor and why it actually smelt clean instead of stale clothes and mouldy food, and it would certainly explain why there was cushions on his sofa, flowers by the window, and a great big-

Gray suddenly remembered the portrait.

"What the hell is that?!" he yelled as he pointed at it. "Where did you get it from?!"

"It is a portrait of Juvia for Gray-sama," Juvia said, entirely unbothered by Gray's outburst. Seriously, she must be the sweetest and most cheerful girl in the guild because if he acted like that to even Cana (who was way too laid back sometimes) he would have been pounded into the ground and then grinded to dust underneath a high heel. "Juvia thought it would be a nice reminder to Gray-sama that Juvia is for Gray-sama, as well it would be a more subtle way to scare off Love Rivals. Love Rival Lucy would never dare come here again after she sees how besotted Gray-sama is with Juvia."

Gray opened his mouth to tell Juvia that a. he was not besotted with her, and b. Lucy had never once visited his apartment, and probably never will.

But then he realised that Juvia was also the craziest and probably most stubborn (after Erza) girl in the guild, and it would be impossible to argue with her.

So instead, he sighed, and slumped back into the sofa, and gave in.

"Ok," he mumbled, "but that doesn't explain where you got it from."

"Reedus-san kindly painted Juvia-"

"REEDUS DID WHAT?!" Gray screamed.

His mind was suddenly assaulted by images of Reedus dressed as a sleazy photographer only with a paintbrush and perving on Juvia who kept blushing and…..oh man, he really was spending too much time with Lucy, and Juvia, and Wendy, their over-active imaginations were beginning to infect his mind.

"Don't worry Gray-sama," Juvia said soothingly, "Juvia didn't take a stitch off for Reedus-sama as she had sworn the only man to see Juvia in such a way would be Gray-sama and Gray-sama only. Juvia would never be unfaithful to Gray-sama! Reedus said that it does not matter, he had seen Juvia on the beach once, and remembers what to paint."

"He-"

Gray choked on an angry growl as he realised just what a pervert Reedus was. A little part of him wished he had Natsu's magic just to set the painting on fire, and then Reedus on fire, and then the rest of his perverted paintings on fire…..

…..but then common sense kicked back in, as well as the sudden realisation that Juvia was petting his hair in a comforting manner.

He inwardly cursed as he realised he still hadn't firmly, but kindly or Erza would kill him, put Juvia back into the friend-zone and ask her to stop breaking into his apartment.

(He really needed to get a new locksmith, the one he goes to seems to always be charmed by Juvia.)

"Juvia," he started gently, "You shouldn't-"

Ping!

"Oh that would be Gray-sama's dinner!" Juvia clasped her hands. "Juvia spent all afternoon learning Gray-sama's favourite pie recipe. It took three times but Juvia managed it! Juvia hopes Gray-sama enjoys it." She blinked and smiled sweetly again. "Juvia is sorry, Juvia had interrupted her Gray-sama. What was Gray-sama going to say?"

Gray took one look at Juvia, and then the apartment she kindly cleaned, and then her portrait that must have cost a lot because Reedus would never use his oils unless he was being paid, and then he smelt dinner…..

…and completely faltered in telling Juvia she was only a friend, and had to spend the whole evening with Juvia perched on his lap as she fed him his dinner.

Goddamnit!
