"Breathe, baby. Let's go see. Maybe Jade didn't hear anything. But, if she did, we will deal with it. We still have our other news, maybe that will help. Come on, together, my love. Always together." Dean gave Adam a love filled kiss.
Adam looked at Dean, his eyes filled with fear, but also love. "I'd be so lost without you. I know our relationship grew fast, but I am so glad it did. I can't imagine a life without you in it. Come on, we have to be parents now. When we walk out that door, you are their father. I love you, Dean Ambrose." He spoke quickly, but the words came from his soul.
Dean stood taller. "I will be the best father I can be. I feel the same about you. I love you, Adam Copeland." He gave Adam another kiss, then together, they went to face the quadruplets.
Across Kansas City at the McMahon mansion, Justin rested on the couch in the lounge. Drake sat and quietly read some Make-A-Wish files. Despite everything, children at the hospital still came first. They couldn't afford to lose any more patients to Children's Mercy.
Sheamus, Cesaro, and Drew sat at the table. They too were silent as all three worked on faction business. Drew monitored the police computers he'd hacked into. Sheamus and Cesaro worked on a delivery of weapons that Finn's father had arranged. Finn was with Wade at the hospital.
The five McMahon lieutenants jumped when the door slammed open. Stephanie stood there, and looked like a rabid wildcat. Finn stood behind Stephanie he looked...scared.
"Ma'am, what's wrong?" Drake asked she stood. Drew, Sheamus and Cesaro also stood. Justin also slowly rose to his feet.
Stephanie went to the bar. "Drake, drink. Now. Make it a double. Move it!" She snapped at the advocate. She pulled a cigar out of the humidor. Drew clicked a lighter to life and lit Stephanie's cigar. Drake quickly fixed his boss a double shot of whiskey, her favorite when she did drink. Sheamus, Cesaro, Drew and Justin all sat on bar stools. Finn sat in one of the leather chairs in the sitting area. Drake stood behind the bar.
"John Cena, Brock Lesnar and Dave Batista just turned in their resignations. Cena and Lesnar have gone to Children's Mercy and Dave went with them. What the fuck am I going to do? Because of that, we also lost twenty patients. All of that, on top of everything else! My father is going to put a gun to my head and won't even blink when he pulls the trigger. Finn, anything from Jericho yet?" Stephanie had so much stress in her voice, it worried Justin as a doctor.
"Ma'am who is looking after the children?" Justin was extremely concerned. Not every child had gone to Children's Mercy. Who would take care of them?
Finn stood and went to the bar area. "Not yet, ma'am. You still want him here? I would be glad to go get him. That way he can't...get away." Truth be told, he wanted a chance to talk to Jericho alone. He still had some unanswered questions.
Stephanie let out a fog of exhaled cigar smoke. "Yes, I do. Text him and tell him to wait for you. Tell him I said so. Also, warn him, he'd better not cross me. I am not in the mood. Go, now." She took another puff of her cigar.
"Right away, ma'am. Don't worry, Jericho won't be doing anything stupid. I'll be back with Jericho." Finn gave Stephanie a nod. He typed a text to Jericho as he walked.
Drake saw the worry on his lover's face. "Justin, babe? Are you alright? I'm sorry, but you don't look so good right now." He gently rubbed Justin's shoulders.
Justin let out a sigh. "I'm alright physically, my head is better. I am worried about the children on the ward. Who is going to take care of them. The staff doctors aren't specialized like Doctor's Cena and Ambrose."
Stephanie sighed. She knew Justin was right. Not that she cared about the patients, she cared about the reputation of St. Luke's. "You will take over as the head physician of the pediatric ward." She was blunt in her tone.
Drake's brow arched. "But how? How are you going to explain a nurse is now suddenly a doctor? I won't have Justin hurt. I don't mean any disrespect, ma'am. Please, understand. I also don't want Saint Luke's to suffer."
Drew spoke up. "It's easy. All you have to do is say you were waiting for the approval papers. You could say that while he was waiting, Justin helped out by doing nursing, to learn the system of the hospital. He couldn't tell anyone because he didn't want anyone to know he was a doctor if his papers didn't work out. You have his papers, so you could easily prove it, with a little adjustment to the date." He spoke in a soft voice. Drew never said much, but when he did speak, he said a lot.
"Drew, that's brilliant. I can write a story for a press release. It's perfect! Drew, you are a genius." Drake gushed. It was perfect and it would protect Justin.
Justin gave Drew a smile. "If Miss Stephanie agrees, then I will be glad to take over. Drew, Drake is right, it is the perfect solution." He was so pleased, Justin actually forgot he had a headache.
Stephanie smiled a beautiful smile. "Drew, you are brilliant. I always say you have to watch the quiet ones. Drake, you write the best press release you've ever written. Justin, you can finally be the Doctor you are. You may even mange to steal patients from Ambrose. Especially since he is currently distracted. Now, all we have to do is find out how Orton's family vanished and who helped him do it. Perhaps Jericho will have some much needed answers. All we can do now is wait. Let's have a drink and cigar, boys." She was in a much happier frame of mind.
Back at Adam's mansion, Dean and Adam settled on the couch. The quadruplets had retreated to their bedroom.
"Kids, come out here, please. Daddy and I want to talk to you." Dean called out to the closed bedroom door.
After a few minutes had passed, Adam called for his children. He knew they were probably scared and confused. All he and Dean could do was tell them the truth, and love them as hard as they could.
"Darlings, come out here, now please. Daddy and Uncle Dean must talk to you. I promise, you are not in any trouble. Please, my darlings." Adam spoke loud enough to be heard, but with love, and no anger.
James cracked the door open. "Daddy, Jade won't come out from under her bed. She said...something awful about dad, then hid. We don't believe what she said." One eye looked at the adults on the couch.
Dean gave Adam a kiss on the cheek. "I'll go talk to her and send the others out. Wait for us."
Adam gave a nod. "Alright." It was all he could say. He still didn't know what to do.
Dean opened the bedroom door. "You three go sit with daddy. It's going to be alright. Go on now, Daddy needs his strong little lions."
James looked up at Dean. All he saw was love. He knew at that moment, Uncle Dean was now dad. "Come on, let's go see daddy. Dad Dean will take care of Jade." He took Jordan and Jan by their cast free hands and led them to Adam.
Dean felt a tear on his cheek. He loved being called dad. He shook himself, when he heard a faint sniff from under the bed. He sat down on the floor next to Jade's bed. Dean took a deep breath.
"Little lioness, please come out and talk to me. I promise, you are not in any trouble. Please, lioness. Daddy needs to tell you something." Dean spoke softly and patted the floor to coax Jade out.
Jade sniffed again. "No! Daddy will be mad! I dropped eaves. I didn't mean to! Nobody believed me! I heard what daddy said about dad! I am staying right here, for every and every." It sounded like Jade had moved further under the bed.
Dean laid down on the floor, and with a bit of effort managed to get part way under the bed. "My sister Cathy used to hide under her bed. She said the cancer couldn't find her, but… well she learned that hiding always made things harder. Jade Marie, I promise, daddy is not mad at you. We have something special to tell you too. I think it will make you happy. But, you won't find out if you hide. I'll tell your brothers and sister not to tell you." Drake spoke honestly and looked at Jade as she lay curled up against the wall.
"You promise daddy isn't mad at me?" Jade asked with another deep sniff.
Dean reached over and took Jade's hand. "'I promise. Have I ever once lied to you?" I love you, lioness. Come with me? So you can hear all the news, bad and very good, happy news." He squeezed Jade's hand.
Jade squeezed Dean's hand in return. "No, you don't lie. Good news? Well...okay. I'll come out."
Dean made Jade laugh when he made a big show and few grunts getting out from under the bed. "Whew! I'm out! I thought the bed had eaten me!"
Jade laughed again and easily slid out from under the bed. "You're funny! Come on, I wanna hear the good, fun news." Jade hurried out to join her siblings, but hesitated. Her daddy looked … so sad.
Dean followed Jade. He picked her up and sat down on the couch. Jade curled into Dean. "I told her we had some happy news...after some bad news." Dean gave Adam a smile of confidence.
Adam looked at his children. He just didn't know what to say. James spoke. "Is it true, daddy? Is dad a bad man or was Jade making stories?" He, Jordan and Jan looked at Adam.
Adam sighed. "I am sorry, but yes. Jade heard it right. Your father...we are hiding from him. Your dad would never hurt you or me, but other bad people would. They would follow your dad, then try to hurt us. I didn't know, I just found out too. It makes me very, very sad. I...don't know if you will ever see your dad again and that makes me sad, because he loves you and you love him. I'm not saying this very well. It is still hard for me. I do know one thing, Uncle Dean will be here for all of us." Adam let out another deep sigh and scrubbed his face with his hands. He felt he was letting his children down.
James again spoke. "Has dad...killed people?" He looked at Adam like an adult and not a seven year old.
Adam looked at his little boy, he was nearly a mirror of Randy. How did he even begin to answer that. He knew he was about to break the very hearts and souls of his beloved quadruplets.
Dean reached over and took Adam's hand in his. "Yes, children. He has. I read a paper that told all about it. I am sorry, I know you can't understand, as adults, we don't understand. Your father belongs to a group called the mafia. The are very, very bad people. They sell drugs that hurt people and make them sick, and they… kill people who get in their way. Your daddy did not know. Your father kept that part of his life secret. I want you to try to understand, your father would never, ever hurt you. You have to hide because other bad people would hurt you to get your father. I want you to also understand how much I love you and your daddy. I will be here for you. I will be your father, Uncle, older brother, whatever you four want me to be."
Adam couldn't stop the tears as they welled up and spilled over the rims. Dean had so perfectly said what needed to be said. Now, they just had to hold their little family together.
James stood. "Come on." He motioned for his brother and sisters to follow him. "We will be back, daddy." Jade climbed off Dean's lap and followed her siblings. She closed the door to the bedroom.
Adam turned to Dean. "Do you think they will be alright? Dean, thank you. You said what I wanted to say, but wasn't sure how. I feel like I just...broke my children." He leaned over and laid his head on Dean's shoulder, despite the slight pain it caused.
Dean gently wrapped hid arms around Adam. "I think they will be just fine. I'm sure there will be moments, but we will deal with them together. They don't understand it all, but at least it's out now. By the way, Jade is worried that you are mad at her for dropping eaves. So, maybe… let it slide this time. She knows she is wrong."
Adam nodded. "I already planned on letting it go. Maybe this was the lesson she needed. But, if it happens again, I will punish her. Oh, here they come." Adam sat up again when he heard the bedroom door open.
James led his siblings back to the main room. The four children sat on the floor at Adam and Deans feet. Jade and Jan held hands.
"Daddy, we...want Dean to be our dad." Jame's words were simple, but spoken with utter conviction.
Adam smiled at his children. "I that is what you want. There is one thing, your father does love you and would never hurt you, but I can't let you stay with him again. He will probably go to jail. Grandpa Hunter, and Uncles Jason and Bret will be the ones to do it. So yes, Dean is your father now. But, don't be afraid to ask us questions. We will do our best to answer them. We will always tell the truth. So, any questions?" Adam looked at his children. He was so very proud of them.
Jade perked up. "Yeah, I do! Daddy Dean said there was something happy. We want to be happy now."
Dean's chest puffed up with pride. "I like the sound of that, daddy Dean. Yes, there is some happy news. Daddy, you tell them." He gave Adam a nudge. He felt this news should come from their daddy.
Adam beamed. "Okay. Well, some time in April or May, you four are going to have a baby brother or sister. So…I...are you happy my little monkey lions?" He looked at his children with hope.
Jan and Jade looked at each other and squealed. "A baby brother!" They spoke at the same time.
"A baby sister!" James and Jordan cried out as only twins could do.
Both Adam and Dean laughed. "Well, we don't know what it is yet." Dean chuckled.
"Just have one of each! Or maybe you will get four more again!" Jade gave a happy clap.
Adam shook his head. "Oh no, not four at once again. There is only one this time. Maybe sometime you can go to the doctor with me and see the baby in my tummy. I am glad you are happy, because I am very happy."
"I am happy too. I never thought I would have one child and now I have five. Oh...wait..." Dean pulled out his cell phone and looked at the text he'd been sent.
Dean looked at Adam. "Shawn and Hunter are here. Seth is going to let them in. He and Roman will stay upstairs just in case."
"We get to see grandpas?" Jordan asked with a look to his daddy.
Adam smiled. "Yes. They can come visit because they know not to tell where they are. Maybe you can play Candy Land." He was glad. The Randy subject seemed to be closed, at least for now.
Dean got up and went to greet the Helmsley's. Adam told the children to clean up their drawing things that had been abandoned earlier. By the time the room was picked up, the Helmsley's had arrived.
Hunter carried three large pizza boxes from Tony's. Shawn had a basket filled with cans of iced tea, paper plates and napkins. Dean carried a large basket filled with toys and things Seth had put together.
Chaos ensued as the quads hugged Shawn and Hunter. Dean put the basket in the children's bedroom. He then set up TV trays.
Adam felt a bit helpless, because Shawn told him to stay put. "Adam son, you are still recovering from a major surgery. Just sit." He gave Adam a fatherly pat on the shoulder.
"Okay, okay. Jade darling, you need to come sit, James you too." Adam had suddenly remembered, they too were still recovering.
Jade and James sat on the couch with Adam. Soon everyone was seated and settled. Dean sat next to Adam. Shawn and Hunter sat in comfortable folding lawn style chairs from the storage closet. James and Jan sat on the floor and used the coffee table.
"Oh thank you for this. I was craving Tony's." Adam managed to speak between bites. He ate like a starving wolf.
Dean laughed. "Slow down, chipmunk. But yes, thank you so much guys."
Hunter gave a nod. "Glad to do it. We haven't heard anything yet." He gave Dean a knowing look.
Adam stopped eating. "They know, Hunter. They know Randy will probably go to jail." He spoke softly as the children talked happily about kid things.
"Oh wow, that must have been hard. Are they alright?" Shawn asked in a near whisper.
Dean spoke. "They took it very well. I've been thinking. James is always so aware, I am wondering if he didn't already know things with Randy weren't right. Remember, he was the one that noticed no police had come to after they had to hide that one time at Randy's house. I am sure they will have moments, but Adam and I will be there for them."
Shawn swallowed his sip of tea. "I wouldn't be surprised. They may only be seven, but Jan and especially James are more like forty seven. Hunter and I are here for you both. This isn't easy for any of us. I'm the one that encouraged you to date Randy in the first place. I could see the potential in him… I just had the wrong potential." He let out a sigh, laced with sadness.
Adam looked at Shawn. "It is not your fault, Shawn. Randy was good to me. Without Randy I wouldn't have my babies. I wouldn't trade that for anything. Oh don't be shocked when they call Dean dad." He smiled and took a huge bite of his double double pizza.
"Daddy! Be careful! Don't choke our baby brother or sister!" Jade called out when Adam coughed a bit.
"What?" Hunter and Shawn remarked at the same time. Shawn beamed and Hunter looked nervous.
Only Adam noticed Hunter's expression. He knew why, but there was no chance it was Hunter's baby. "Well, yes. In April or May. Dean and I are very happy. We just told the quads before you got here. It was another rainbow in the storm. Also, Doctors Cena and Batista said the accident didn't harm the baby."
Relief briefly washed over Hunter's face. "That's wonderful. Congratulations, you two."
"Yes, congratulations. I'm glad the baby is okay. Meg will be thrilled when we can tell her. We have decided to talk to Doctor Lesnar when things settle." Shawn beamed like a proud grandfather.
Dean chuckled. "I almost forgot..." He pulled out his cell phone. "I got a text from Doctor John and I haven't read it yet..." Dean touched his screen and found the text.
After a few moments, Dean spoke again. "Oh wow! Just...wow. John, Brock Lesnar and Dave Batista have all quit Saint Luke's. They are going to Children's Mercy." Dean held up his cell phone so Adam could read the message.
"Wow. Stephanie must be in a panic. But, wait...what about the patients that won't have a doctor now?" Adam was both pleased and worried.
Dean shrugged. "Not sure. The staff doctors can handle things. I'm sure they will get a new pediatric doctor soon. I'm just glad they got out before more crap hit the fan. You will be well looked after if Meg has to go to Children's Mercy." Dean spoke honestly. He was very glad his fellow physicians were safe.
Hunter picked up another slice of pizza and put it on his plate. "Well, if things go like they should, Saint Luke's will be rebuilding an entirely new staff, starting with administration. McMahon wants to play stupid games, he wins stupid prizes." He took a bite from his slice of pizza.
Adam sighed. "In many ways I miss the hospital, but I am looking forward to running Dean's practice. I want to get back to work." He took a smaller bite of food.
Dean ran his fingers through Adam's blond hair. "It will be a while, baby. You know, it wouldn't hurt if you took a couple of online business classes, accounting and administration. You don't have to, but, it would be something to do while recovering. I also still want you to think about the surgical nursing course." He gave Adam a smile.
Shawn perked. "Dean is right. Accounting would be good, especially medical records accounting. Insurance can be a bitch… Adam, don't jump on me for saying this, but I will pay for your classes. You still have money in the college account we set up for you. So no arguments." He gave Adam that firm, parental glare.
"Shawn… oh well, to argue with you is pointless. But, I can afford to pay for my own classes." Adam sighed and knew he would not win the battle.
Shawn reached over and patted Adam's head like a puppy. "Good boy. It really isn't our money. It's what Judy left for your education. I just guided the investments to keep a healthy balance. So, sign up, order your books and send the bill to me." He gave Adam another pat on the head.
"I won't argue. It saves me the money. After all, I am going to have at least five kids to put through college, maybe six or seven." Dean took a bite of pizza with a very smug smile on his face.
Adam's mouth fell open. "Hey! I am not a baby factory. But there is a fund...oh wait… what will happen about that? You know what I mean."
Hunter nodded. "I know what you mean. I can't answer that until after everything. Maybe you can, dear." He looked at Shawn, brow arched. He understood Adam's worry. What would happen to Randy's millions.
"There will have to be an audit. Knowing Randy, the father, I am sure any money for them will be legit and be left alone. Don't worry about it, Adam. Let's deal with things one at a time. You have enough on your plate at the moment. I am so happy for you and Dean." Shawn gushed like a grandpa again and kissed Adam's cheek.
Adam flushed. "It makes me feel good to know you are so...supportive. It's going to be difficult the next few days. So how is Meggie Pops?"
The talk at Adam's turned to happier subjects. For a while, they almost forgot about Randal Keith Orton.
At the McMahon mansion, Chris Jericho sat in one of the leather chairs in the bar lounge. He was pale and a bead of sweat dripped down the side of his face. Stephanie McMahon sat on the couch and glared a death-like glare at Jericho.
Finn Bálor stood behind Jericho and delicately cleaned his fingernails with a very sharp knife. He stood so Jericho could see from the corner of his eye.
"I told you everything, ma'am. I told the police nothing, because I had nothing to tell them. I've been too busy trying to fix some logistic problems within my company. I don't have time to mess with Orton's ex or his brats. Although, I would celebrate if something happened to that little runt that hurt my son, Ash." Jericho made the same statement for the fourth time. It was also what he had told Finn in the car.
"You said nothing bout getting the drug to kill Adam?" Stephanie asked the question for the third time.
Chris Jericho balled his fists. A look of anger marred his handsome face. "No, I did not. I had no reason to tell them. Ma'am, Stephanie you… know how I feel about you. The last thing I would ever do is anything to hurt you." His look turned to one of utter admiration. He'd loved Stephanie for years, but try as he might, it always unrequited.
Stephanie lowered her eyes a bit, but managed to fight the blush that threatened to stain her cheeks. "I believe you, Christopher. We will do our best to protect you from Orton. He thinks you had something to do with Adam and the kids vanishing. Orton will want to question you. We can not let that happen. Finn, please. Chris is on our side, not need to threaten him." She looked hard at Bálor and gave him a firm nod.
Finn clicked the knife closed and put it in his pocket. "Yes, ma'am. No offense, Jericho. It's just..." He shut his mouth before he said too much.
"Just what? I don't want you thinking I would do anything against the faction." Jericho looked at Bálor, the man gave off a strongly negative vibe.
Finn sighed. "Nothing. I know you are on our side. Again, I am sorry. When you're ready, I will get you safely home." He even smiled at Chris when he spoke.
"No, Finn. I will see that Chris gets home, you go and see Wade. Tell them I said you can stay as long as you want. Just listen to the Doctors." Stephanie gave Finn a nod of dismissal. Wade needed Finn and who was she to say no.
Finn's smile grew. "Thank you very much, ma'am. Do call if something comes up." He left with a nod to the others. He had a stop to make before seeing Wade.
Drake chuckled. "Someone is in love, whether he wants it or not. Ma'am, Justin needs to rest and I need to write that press release. May we be dismissed?"
Stephanie smiled a bit at Drake. "Of course, you take care of our new head of pediatrics. I want to see the article when you finish it. It has to quickly put my father at ease about things."
Justin stood with Drake's support. "Thank you, ma'am. I will be fine in the morning. I just need a solid nights sleep." He gave Stephanie a look of confidence. The couple left the lounge.
Stephanie looked at Chris. "Sorry, but family business comes first. I am not looking forward to father returning tomorrow. Drink?" She stood and went to the bar.
Sheamus, Cesaro and Drew quietly moved from the bar to the lounge area. Jericho got up and joined Stephanie at the bar.
"Grey Goose, neat. Please." Chris indicated for the drink of his choice as Stephanie arched her brow at him.
Stephanie poured Chris' drink. She poured herself a very small brandy. She gave Chris a cigar, and took one for herself. Chris lit Stephanie's cigar, then lit his own. He would happily take whatever time the lovely brunette would give him.
"Steph, why won't you go out with me? You know I have money. I have the social standing. I'm not terrible to look at, and I love the way you do business. I think I could show you a wonderful time." Chris spoke in earnest and puffed on his cigar.
Stephanie sat on the stool next to Chris. "Chris, I do like you and yes, you are very handsome. Father does approve of you. It's just… I don't have time to have fun. Chris, you would be my choice. I have to be honest, I would love to have a relationship, kids, the dog… a normal life, but for me, that isn't possible. Chris, if I made a play to take over from father, would you and your associates back me?" She looked at Chris with a bit of love in her eyes, but fear and worry overrode the affection.
Chris reached over and took Stephanie's left hand in his and laced their fingers together. "We've been waiting for you to say that. Yes, we would support a take over by you, one hundred percent. I don't have a family faction, as you know, but I have twenty-five very powerful associates...powerful and loyal. I'll do whatever you need me to do. Could I just make one suggestion, do it now, while Orton is in chaos. By the way, I've had guys out looking for your bastard brother, but nothing so far." He gave Stephanie's hand a gentle squeeze.
Stephanie exhaled a puff of cigar smoke. "I appreciate that, Chris. I have a feeling that somehow, Shane was involved in Adam's disappearance. I also thank you for the support in a take over from father. I am going to talk to him tomorrow. If he is smart, he will see that I am right if not...I will do what I have to do. Chris, would it not bother you...to have a...girlfriend who was also your faction boss?" Stephanie gave Chris a look of hope.
Chris reached up and caressed Stephanie's cheek. "Not at all. I would be proud. I've always thought women make better commanders. You have a more calm way of approaching things. Maybe if more women were in charge, less bodies would be found in the river. But, I also know, when something does need a more...fatal touch, you do it very well. I will be behind you you, all the way. I know you don't have time right now, but, when the time comes...will you be mine? I promise to support you and care for you, no matter what." His blue eyes were filled with all the adoration he had for Stephanie Marie McMahon.
Stephanie looked over at her remaining lieutenants. "Gentlemen, please excuse us. You are dismissed for the evening. Your rooms on the third floor are ready. I will call if I need you and men, thank you." She gave a smile and a nod.
Cesaro, Sheamus and Drew stood. Drew spoke. "Good evening, ma'am. Don't worry, we are with you. Goodnight, Christopher." The three men left with a "good night" from Chris.
When they were all alone, Stephanie grabbed Chris by his neck tie and pulled him in for a tongue tangling kiss. She melted into Chris' arms as he quickly took control. When the kiss broke, the electricity of the moment lingered.
"Does that answer your question? You hold on to that Chris. When things are more settled, we'll take a weekend in Saint Louis, no, Chicago. I promise. Yes, I will be yours and you belong to me. And Christopher, I don't share with others. Now, as much as I would love to keep you here, I've got business to take care of." Stephanie gave Chris another soft kiss.
Chris cupped Stephanie's face gently in his hands. "I don't share either, baby. When this is settled, we will go to Chicago. I have a beautiful place on the lake, safe and isolated. Be sure to get some rest, you have a big day tomorrow. I'll call an Uber, you need all your men here." Chris pulled out his phone. He called for a ride home.
John Morrison and AJ Styles sat in a car and waited. The information they had received, had paid off.
"Remember, Randy said not to kill. You loaded the right pellet?" AJ asked as he took a sip of coffee. His eyes glued to the surrounding area.
JoMo reached over and laid a hand on AJ's thigh. "Yes, I loaded the right pellet. Don't worry, he will be here soon."
AJ looked at John. "Sorry, these things still make me nervous. Give a computer any time. John...do you think the children are alright? We all love those little monkeys."
Morrison sighed. "I hope so, love. Randy is so worried and I don't blame him. Those four children are his world, his real world. Mike is about to lose it too. I just don't get it…. The only one that could pull it off is McBitch."
AJ sipped his coffee with a nod. "I agree. That hospital was too secured. Only someone on the inside could pull it off. Hey… look." AJ pointed as a car approached.
Chris Jericho stepped out of the Uber he'd taken from the McMahon mansion. As he walked up his driveway, he inhaled the sweet perfume on the lace edged handkerchief Stephanie had given him, with another promise about Chicago.
Just as he got to to the security gate, Chris Jericho hit the ground with a thud. Two men dressed in black, from head to toe scooped Jericho up and vanished into the darkness.
