"The meeting is over. We have a few hours. But, what are we going to do? We've got to get Adam, the children and Shane to safe places. But how? Where?" Hunter asked in a frantic tone.

"Shawn, go to your house and get Shane. Bring him to Adam's. That way we have them all together. Make sure when you do, that Shane stays out of sight. Pull into the garage at Adam's. Hunter, call Dean and tell him to open the garage for Shawn. We will arrive sometime after you. Go, now." Jason Reso-Hart spoke in earnest.

Kenny Omega nodded. "Yes, go now. Jay is right. Better to have them together. We will have to figure this out as we go."

Hunter spoke as Shawn started to leave. "I'll call Nancy, tell her to take Meg to to see Champion now. I'll also tell her to pack and go to the Woodspring Hotel. I want Meg well away till it is safe. Be careful, babe. See you soon." He pulled Shawn in and kissed him with all his love.

"I will. I love you, Hunter. Call Nancy now. Make sure she takes Meg's med bag. See you soon. You be careful." Shawn returned Hunter's kiss then hurried out.

Bret Hart spoke as he checked his weapon. "I will send an undercover..." He was halted by Kenny.

"No! Sorry, Bret, but your precinct could have ears and eyes. Call this number, use the code RABBITS. Then tell them I said to send a team to the hotel." Kenny handed Bret a card with a number on it.

Bret took the card. "Thanks, Kenny. I forgot about that. Here Jason, you drive. Hunter and I have calls to make."

In the safe room of Adam's house, Seth taught a lesson in American History. Adam laid in his bed and read. Seth had insisted the kids would do better without daddy distracting. Adam laughed and knew it was Seth's way of making him rest.

"So for homework, I want the first twenty Presidents and their Vice Presidents. I also want one fact on each. And four different facts..." Seth was interrupted when the sound of many feet echoed on the steps.

Dean came into the room first. He was followed by Shawn and Shane McMahon. "Get Adam, please." Dean spoke. He tried to sound calm, but he didn't do a very good job.

Seth went to the bedroom. "Adam, Dean wants you. Shawn is here too, and Shane McMahon." He went to the bed and helped Adam get up.

Adam knew something terrible must have happened. "Please keep the babies safe." Adam muttered as he hobbled out to the living area with Seth's help.

Dean helped Adam to sit on the couch. He then looked at Seth. "Go home, Seth and stay there. You haven't seen Adam, the children or Shane."

"Roman will be home soon, Seth. He will fill you in. Please go." Shawn spoke firmly.

Seth looked at Adam. "I love you."

"I love you." Adam replied simply. He watched with growing fear as Seth left the safe room.

Dean spoke again. "I want you four to go pack your things in your backpacks. Take all you can. Be quick, be good, brave little lions. James, you're in charge." He spoke firmly to the quadruplets.

James knew it was serious. "Come on Jade, we need to help Jan and Jor." He stood and led his siblings to their bedroom and closed the door behind them.

Adam started to speak, but was halted by Shawn's phone. "Go let them in." Shawn gave Dean a nod.

After a couple of minutes, Bret, Jason, Kenny, Hunter and Dean came into the room. Hunter spoke.

Hunter was blunt as he told about the meeting between Stephanie McMahon and Randy Orton. "...so, now we have a very short amount of time to think of a new place to hide you. Shane is here to make it easier. Easier to move everyone at once." He ended with a sigh.

Adam tried to take it all in, but one thing bugged him. "How do you know all this? I can't imagine… oh, Justin. I forgot, he's… no… this is a joke. Randy would never..."

Hunter cut Adam off. "Trust me, this is not a joke. Yes, he would, Adam. If you or Dean got in his way, he would kill you." Hunter looked Adam in the eye and spoke with harsh honesty.

Shane sat next to Adam. "Adam, I'm the one that wrote that notebook you read. I'm sorry, it's my fault you are in this...trouble. I just couldn't stand seeing my family destroy innocent lives. You've been dealing with the aftermath for years in the Children's Ward. Remember Billy Henderson, with the terrible sinus problem?"

Adam nodded. "Yes. He had a teddy bear his father gave him and loved Spiderman. But Billy said his dad died in a plane crash." Adam looked at Shane, brow arched.

"He did. The plane contained a shipment of drugs that Randy was going to sell on the streets. My father and sister didn't like that. Finn Bálor blew the plane to bits just as it was preparing to land at a private airstrip. The worst part, Mister Henderson had no idea what his plane carried. He thought it was a legitimate cargo shipment for Orton Pharmaceuticals. So see, I had to do something to try to stop my father and sister. Randy is the same. I hope, in time, you can forgive me for this danger I've put you in." Shane hung his head, he truly felt bad.

Adam looked at Shane, his eyes filled with tears. He took Shane's hand in his. "You are the finest and bravest young man I have ever met. I can't imagine how hard it's been on you. Shawn, there is nothing to forgive. If you hadn't written that notebook… oh Shane, you are the best, the very best." He squeezed Shane's hand tightly.

Shane swiped his eyes. "Thank you, Adam. That means a lot to me. I promise, after all this is over, to be your free babysitter for life. It's a hard thing to want to see people you love and once trusted rot in jail. But, my father, my sister and your ex-husband...deserve it. Thank you, Nurse Copeland for understanding." Shane squeezed Adam's hand in return.

Adam managed a small laugh. "It's Nurse Ambrose now. Dean and I were married yesterday. So, where have you been hiding? Couldn't we go there?" Adam looked at the law enforcement officers in the room.

It was Shawn who spoke. "He has been in our panic room. It is no longer safe. Randy won't rest till he tears our house apart. And yes, Meg and Nancy are safe. Hunt, couldn't we take them to the hotel?"

"No way. We couldn't possibly, not in broad daylight. You can bet there are more than one pair of eyes on this house by now." Kenny spoke. He was worried, they were truly up against a brick wall.

Adam looked at Jason. "Jay, we have a tornado shelter under the garage. So do Shawn and Hunter. We could go there without anyone seeing us, with the garage door down." He looked at his friend with hope in his eyes.

Jason Reso-Hart shook his head with a sigh. "Wouldn't work. Randy would know to look there, in both homes. I am starting to think all we can do is be ready with weapons drawn."

Dean growled. "Too dangerous around the children and Baby Ambrose."

"You're pregnant? And wait… you and Dean? Congratulations." Shane spoke happily.

Adam smiled. "Yes, I am..." He then frowned. "What the fuck are we going to do?"

Eyes turned when the door to the children's bedroom opened. Jade stuck her head out. "I know a place where we could hide."

Everyone was too stunned to admonish Jade for "dropping eaves." Kenny went down on his knees in front of Jade. "Where, honey?"

Jade stuck her finger in her mouth. It was something she did when she was scared or nervous. She didn't know the man in front of her, who had a frantic look on his face.

Dean saw the stress on his step-daughter's face. He went and knelt by Kenny. "You be my brave little lioness. This is Mister Kenny. He is our very good friend. Honey, we have to know, where could we go?" Dean playfully poked Jade's nose and winked at her.

Jade looked at Kenny. She was enamored with the impish smile he wore. "You're a nice man." She turned to Dean. "Down the rabbit hole." She gave a giggle.

Dean gently but firmly took Jade by the shoulders. "Lioness, what rabbit hole?"

James came to the door. "The one we found, playing hide and seek when you helped daddy exercise." He opened the bedroom door and went over to the staircase.

Dean, Kenny, Jason, Bret and Hunter followed. They watched with interest as James pressed on the wall that was under the stairs. Suddenly, one of the panels slid open.

Kenny pulled a small penlight out of his pocket and shined it into the dark opening. "There is a set of stairs. Stay here." Kenny slid through the narrow opening. The stairs were made of old stones and were a bit slippery with dampness.

When Kenny got to the bottom, he called out. "It's a tunnel. I am going to explore a bit. Keep that door open." Kenny and the light vanished out of sight.

Adam had gotten up to look. "This is one area the specialists Randy hired didn't work on. They said the staircase was extremely stable and it was best not to mess with the integrity. I am sure Randy has no idea this was here." Adam was amused as well as amazed.

Shawn shrugged. "Probably a root cellar. These homes are old. I recall from the deed work, this one was built in nineteen ten." He spoke more out of nerves than anything.

Hunter looked at his watch. Kenny had been gone for twenty minutes. "I'm going give him five more minutes. Anything could have happened. James, did any of you go down there?" Hunter gave James a pointed look.

James shook his head. "No, grandpa Hunter. It was too dark. We just found the door. Sorry we didn't say. We didn't want daddy to worry."

Adam gave James a pat on the head. "It's alright, son. At least you had the sense not to go down there." He gave James a smile that said it was alright.

Jason leaned into the open, hidden panel. "I see a light. Kenny? Hey, Kenny?"

"It's me, Roman." Roman called out as he drew closer to the rock steps.

"A tunnel! A tunnel to Roman and Seth's house!" Hunter called out in surprise.

They all backed up and waited for Roman. James laughed a bit when Roman nearly got stuck in the very narrow door panel.

Roman laughed, once he was free. "We had no idea. All of a sudden, Kenny was standing in our kitchen. It was a darn good thing Seth was upstairs or he might died of fright. Kenny said for you, the kids and Shane to go through the tunnel. The rest of us have to make this room normal again. We can take the beds apart and store them down here. There is a big room down there. Kenny said to go now, he and Seth are waiting for you." Roman relayed the instructions Kenny Omega had given him.

"I will help Adam first, then come back here to help." Dean spoke firmly.

Shane looked at the quadruplets. They looked so very small, and so very scared. "All right you four. It's adventure time! Remember in the Wizard of Oz, when they went through the dark, scary woods? When they came out of the dark, they could see the Emerald City. Well, that tunnel is our dark woods, but Seth is at the end, waiting for you. Your daddy and Dean will be right behind us. So, you ready to go down the yellow brick road?" Shane spoke with excitement, and a huge smile on his face.

"Yeah! Let's go!" James and Jordan laughed together.

" Are there any lions, tigers or bears?" Jan started the question and Jade finished it.

"The only lions down there are you four little lions and you are brave, not cowardly." Dean replied with his own laugh and smile.

Jan and Jade put on their backpacks. "We can do it." They spoke in their identical chorus.

"Dad Dean and I will be right behind you. Mind Uncle Shane." Adam called out as his children started through the door. Shane had Bret's penlight firmly in hand.

"Adam, be careful, the rock steps are slippery. Seth will kill me if you fall." Roman handed Dean the extra flashlight. It was on a head band, so Dean's hands would be free to help Adam. The physician secured the headband in place.

"Okay. I will go through first." Dean turned on the headlamp. He easily managed to slide through the narrow opening.

Adam looked at the others. "First one to laugh, gets it." He began to work his way through. His problem was his hips, but with Dean's help, he made it. Once through the narrow opening, the area was bigger than Adam had thought.

"Look, it would be better if you sat down. You can't fall that way." Dean spoke in a serious voice.

When Adam was through, the others went to work. They had a very short amount of time to make it look like no one had been there. Luckily, the beds could easily be taken apart and the original cot beds returned. They also had to remove all clothing, fresh food and trash. It was going to be very difficult. Randal Orton would be a hard man to fool.

Shane and the kids moved slowly. "That's a cave." James exclaimed as they walked by the old storage area.

Shane shone the light into the large room. "Well, that's how they kept food fresh for the winter. It is also a very good place to store wine. Come on, we're almost through. I see the stairs to Seth's. See, no lions, tigers or bears. I know let's sing. We're off to see…." The children joined in and sang the song as they followed Shane.

Adam slid down to the bottom step. "Listen. Thank God for Shane. Dean, is this nightmare ever going to end?" He took a moment to rest. The movement on his hips was painful, but sliding had been better than risking a fall.

Dean leaned against the wall. "Yes, it will end, honey. We just have to hold on to that. I can't imagine how you are feeling about Randy. I guess my instincts about Drake's family were right. I just hope Justin comes out of this alive."

"Me too. I always thought I was a brave person, but compared to Shane and Justin? Well, come on, help me up. You have to get back and help them. Dean, Randy is no fool. Make damn sure all the evidence is gone." Adam gave a grunt as Dean helped him to stand.

Shane and the quadruplets went up the stairs. Shane pushed and a door opened. They were in the Reigns' kitchen. When it closed, you would never know a door was there. Like the other door, it was part of the stairs, and as in Adam's house, they were the backstairs that led to the second floor of the smaller mansion.

Seth hugged the four children. They quickly launched into telling Seth about their "adventure." They were all still talking when Dean opened the door.

The physician helped his husband to a kitchen chair. "Let him rest a minute. I've got to get back. Where is Kenny?" Dean asked as he hugged the children.

"Upstairs, looking around. He wants the safest possible place. Go, I will take care of them. Oh, bring their meds and the knitting needles." Seth laughed as the children helped themselves to the cookies he'd set out.

"I will. I will keep in touch. Adam, I love you. Stay strong." Dean gave Adam a love filled kiss. He turned to the quadruplets. "You behave. Be good, brave little lions. Dad Dean loves you." He hugged and kissed each child.

"We will dad. We love you, too." James spoke for his siblings with a fact twisted wink.

Dean gave another round of kisses. He held Adam close. "Take care, my love." He then hurried back to help the others.

Kenny came down the stairs into the kitchen. "Did you know the attic has been converted into a small apartment? Complete with a bathroom, that works! It has a small stove and a fridge. No beds, but there is furniture. It's a bit dusty, but any port in a storm. Also, it's not obvious. It's just a door to the attic. Adam, you rest here. Kids, you and Shane come with me." He smiled at the four children.

Jade took Kenny's hand. "Let's go." She liked all the excitement and adventure.

"Mind Shane and Kenny, my darlings. I will be there soon." Adam spoke as his children followed Kenny and Shane up to their new hiding place.

Seth sat for a moment. "I guess it's an opportunity to teach them about Anne Frank, for history. I vaguely remember the Realtor saying something about a place for a live in housekeeper. Adam, honey, are you holding up?" He worried for his best friend.

Adam let out a chortle. "Thinking I am going to wake up any moment and this nightmare will be over. But, the best thing is, Dean and I are actually married. Seth, I am sorry you and Roman got mixed up in all this. The two of you are in danger because of me. Roman must hate me." Adam let out a deep sigh.

Seth took Adam's hands in his. "No, he doesn't, Adam. He and Dean are like brothers. Roman has always loved you and the children. Adam, none of this is your fault. It is all Randy's fault. You stop feeling that way. It's not good for the children or baby Ambrose. Adam, our dream, remember? To have babies together. I am sure they will be best friends for life. When all this is over, we'll take the quads so you and Dean can have a honeymoon. Hey, I just realized something. We can walk to each others houses in the rain and not get wet!"

Kenny came down the stairs. "I've arranged for some sleeping bags and other supplies. It will look like a normal Amazon delivery. Should be here in an hour. I am going to help the others. Adam, please don't stay here much longer. Time is not our friend today." Kenny opened the door to the tunnel.

"Kenny, thank you. Please, be careful." Adam spoke with a tone of deep gratitude. Kenny gave Adam a smile, then vanished.

"How did he… well, it doesn't matter. I have a much deeper respect for the FBI. Come on, we'd better get you upstairs." Seth stood. Together, he and Adam started for the attic. As they got to the second floor, Shane appeared in the hallway.

"I was just coming to get you. Kenny said you're to forget they are here. When the delivery comes, the driver will bring the boxes in. He said to use your...delicate condition in the conversation, just in case." Shane took hold of Adam's arm to help him walk.

Seth grinned. "I have a table that will look great, right here..." He pointed to the area in front of the attic door. "Don't worry, Adam. It will be alright. You are safe here." He kissed Adam on the cheek. He carefully closed the attic door. It blended in nicely.

"Almost there, then you can lay down. The couch is very comfortable." Shane stated as they slowly climbed up the steps to the attic.

Adam was stunned. The attic truly was like a small, one room apartment. While there wasn't a bed, there was a space for one, with a small chest of drawers and a standing wardrobe, all of dark walnut wood. The other corner was where the small kitchen area was. Along with the small stove and fridge, there was a sink and a table with four chairs, also made of dark walnut.

The living room had a couch and two reading style chairs, arranged around a walnut wood coffee table. End tables with lamps sat at each end of the couch and another sat between the two chairs.

Against the wall was a walnut wood shelving unit. It would be perfect for a small television.

Adam chuckled as he sat down. The children dusted the furniture. He was glad that they seemed to be taking everything in stride. Although Adam knew they would have some psychological scars, he and Dean would get them through it. Adam also knew it would hit Janice and Jordan the hardest. Jan especially, had always been more attached to Randy.

Adam came out of his thoughts when he felt a touch. "Adam? Hey? Adam, are you alright? Do you need anything?" Shane had deep worry carved on his handsome face.

Adam smiled. "I am alright, and no, thank you. I don't need anything. I was thinking about them..." He nodded to the children, who dusted the "bedroom" furniture. "Jan is Randy's special pet. This will hit them one day, but Dean and I will be there for them. Shane, can you tell me… when you realized… how did you handle it?"

Shane let out a deep sigh. "I always knew there was more to my father than he let on. Our home always had armed guards. Then, I noticed Stephanie was part of it all. I was always ignored. So one day, about a year ago, I followed Stephanie. She went into a secret room. I stood and listened at the door. I did that whenever I could, when I was home from school. A few months ago, I found a store that sold spy equipment. I managed to plant a listening device. Over time, I wrote down their conversations. When you and the children were going to be used as targets to get to Randy… I mailed the notebook to Hunter. I wrote a note, but didn't sign it. Shawn recognized my handwriting. He called me to come help him, and I got stashed in their panic room. I didn't like it at first. I felt I could go back and get more information. Hunter said it would be too dangerous. I'm very grateful to them now, because...well… you can guess what would have happened if I'd been caught." He ended with another sigh.

"I'm so sorry, Shane. I for one am grateful. When I read your notebook, it shattered my world. But if you hadn't written it…. I could be...you know. You have a room at our house anytime you come home from school. Thank you, Shane." Adam gave Shane a look of deep respect.

"Thank you, Adam. That really means a lot. I appreciate the offer for the room, but the Helmsley's gave me one in their house and I agreed. I am looking forward to it. I'll get to pick the brains of the greatest legal mind in Missouri, any time I want. Shawn is going to hire me to clerk. I can't wait to be a lawyer." Shane smiled brightly as he spoke.

"Daddy, we are done dusting." Jade spoke from across the room.

"It looks very nice, my darlings. Now come here." Adam waved his children over.

Jan and Jade sat in one chair, James and Jordan in the other. Shane started to get up, but Adam stopped him.

"You are one of us, Shane. Now, I want you to listen to me, my darlings. This is different from the other place. We must be very quiet, all the time. No running or shouting. I know it's very hard. I promise, as soon as it's safe, we will go to the park where you can be as loud as you want. I am sure dad Dean will bring some of your games and books later. Oh, and Uncle Shane is not your personal toy. You mind him like you do me and dad Dean. Will you be good?" Adam spoke with deep love but he had the needed parental undertone.

Jordan nudged James. James spoke. "Yes, daddy. But Uncle Shane can play with us sometimes, right?"

Shane chuckled. "Of course I will. Mister Shawn has told me you are very good Candy Land players. I look forward to it. When your daddy is finished talking to you, I will tell you a story about a girl named Anne, who also had to hide in an attic."

James spoke up again, after another nudge from Jordan. "Um… daddy? Can we just say… dad.. it's easier than saying dad Dean." He wasn't sure what his daddy would say, but it was what they all wanted.

"Yeah. We never want to call that other man dad again." Jade huffed and crossed her arms over her chest with a nod and a pout.

Adam smiled softly. "If that's what you want. I know Dean won't mind. Now, before Shane tells you the story, go unpack your backpacks. Each of you pick a drawer. But do it very quietly."

Jan giggled. "We already did, daddy. When we dusted it. We are good little lions. So can we hear the story now?" She looked at Adam with hope.

Shane stood. "Let's go over there. I bet your daddy would like to lay down. Is that alright with you, Adam?" He had as much hope in his eyes as the children. It would help him forget his family; for a while.

"That would be nice. You listen and have fun. It is a very good story. I love you, my darlings." Adam smiled when Shane lifted his feet so he could lay down and rest. Each child hugged and kissed Adam.

Adam's eyes blinked as he heard Shane and the children settle in the bedroom corner. He could barely hear Shane start the story of Anne Frank.

In the abandoned safe room at Adam's house, things were almost done. Shawn and Dean were going over everything with a fine toothed comb.

"I'll put the trash in the trunk of my car, and take care of it later. Oh, the knitting needles." Shawn reached up and got the needles. He put them in the bag to take up to Adam and the children.

Dean looked at Shawn. "Tony will let you throw it out there when you get their food. You'd better go, so you can be back." They had worked out a plan and hoped it would work.

Bret, Jason, Kenny and Roman had managed, with a lot of sweat and hard work, to get the hospital beds replaced with the cots that belonged there. The hospital beds were now stored in the old wine cellar of the tunnel.

Hunter made trips upstairs, taking the fresh food, leaving the normal camping food. Now he worked on carrying the baskets of things that belonged to the children. At least there wasn't much. All that waited to be carried up were the clothes Adam and the children had worn for the wedding.

Hunter came down the stairs as Shawn went up. They briefly kissed. Hunter looked at his watch. "It's almost two. Time for Randy's meeting. Shawn should have enough time, but he knows what to do just in case. Let's put these things away. You double check their rooms. The we'll come back down and check everything again. It will freshen your eyes."

Dean nodded. "Oh yeah. I've got to get my briefcase. Randy will find me working." He and Hunter grabbed the hangers of the wedding clothes and went upstairs. Roman went with them so they could carry it in one load.

Kenny, Bret and Jason came out of the bedroom. "Dean can check it, but it looks perfect. Now, you two go vanish. I will be in the tunnel, just in case. You know what to do. If we're lucky, it will push Orton and McMahon to do something we can nail them for." Kenny spoke firmly.

"Thank God Jade spoke up. That tunnel was an answer to prayer. Then the attic. We might and I mean might actually pull this off. But, Randy Orton is no fool." Bret spoke with a guarded tone.

Jason nodded in agreement. "You stay safe, Kenny. But we will be around. Come on, babe. We've got to get to our places." Jason was calm, but he wanted everything ready.

A few minutes later, Dean and Hunter stood on the front porch and spoke to Bret and Jason. "I'll stay with Dean for a while. Shawn is getting us something to eat. Keep us posted, we've got to find them." Hunter stuck to the plan they had worked out, just in case there were unwanted ears and eyes in the neighborhood.

"That's good, Hunter. Doctor Ambrose shouldn't be alone. Doctor, we will be in touch again soon. We will find them." Bret too played his part. Hunter and Dean went into the house and closed the door.

Roman laughed. "Perfect. Okay, I am going home, through the tunnel. Don't worry, Dean. We will keep them safe. Seth has a deadly aim if he needs it. Good luck. I love you man."

"I love you, brother. You know It would do the same for you. How about when this is all over, we grab our beautiful husbands and take them down to Blue Eye." Dean gave Roman a hard hug.

Roman grinned. "Sounds good." He went upstairs, to wait for Dean.

Dean looked at Hunter. "I have to let Roman into the safe room, then I will make one last check. You think this will work?" He cast the Detective a very worry filled look.

Hunter put a hand on Dean's shoulder. "We will do our best. Um...Dean...um… you know, don't you?" He gave Dean a very pointed look.

Dean let out a sigh. "Yeah, I do. Adam felt it was best to be honest. Hunter, I also know it is over. I am not jealous. I am glad you were there for him. Does Shawn know?" He figured now was the time to get everything out in the open, tie it up and throw it away.

Hunter hung his head. "Yeah, he knows. I am a lucky man, Dean. I don't know why, but he understood and forgave me. But, our marriage has never been stronger. Dean, Adam doesn't know that Shawn knows. Let it stay that way. It would break Adam's heart. Shawn said it wouldn't help anything. Dean, I strictly look on Adam as a son now. But, as his father, so to speak, I will beat you to a pulp if you ever really hurt him or the children. Adam has been through enough. But, I have to say, he has never been happier. I thank you for that. So.. tied up and tossed out?" He arched his brow at Dean.

Dean gave Hunter a nod. "Tossed out, but yes, I will never let on that Shawn knows. It would tear Adam apart. Don't worry, Hunter. If I ever really hurt Adam or the little lions, I would stand still for you. Just… all couples fight from time to time." He gave Hunter a wink. Then he hurried down to the safe room.

Kenny greeted Dean with a nod. "Triple check everything. I just wish we could make it dusty." He sighed. He could do many things, but not everything.

Dean began to check the room. "Don't worry. I have an idea. Ida came down to do her bit of cleaning. She also took out the food that needed replacement and will buy it next week. Randy would buy that. Adam told me Ida does that a few times a year. She did it now, to keep busy from worry. It would also explain if something was slightly out of place. I know Randy isn't a fool, but he's not a wizard either." He spoke with confidence as he looked over everything with great care.

When Dean got upstairs, Shawn had returned. "I took the food to Roman and Seth. I made a point of doing it so Seth could rest. It was in a bag, so no one could tell it was enough to feed a small army. Bless Tony, he threw the trash in the fire. I also spoke to Ida. She is going to stay with her mother like normal. Nancy and Meg are settled in. Nancy told Megan the exterminator was coming. Meg is excited about being in the hotel." Shawn explained as he dished up the lasagna that Tony had sent for them. There was also garlic bread and a huge, fresh garden salad.

Dean had his private practice papers on the kitchen table. He'd called Shawn for "help" and Hunter was there, as a friend. They were as ready as they could be.

Downstairs, Kenny Omega sat on the top step of the stairs down to the tunnel. Nothing new had been learned from Justin. Apparently he was busy looking after Jericho and Barrett. Stephanie would meet with her council later and tell them about the truce.

At the Reigns' house, the Amazon order had arrived. Seth made a fuss over it , stating the back ordered nursery things had arrived. The driver winked at Seth and helped Roman carry the boxes up to the attic door. Shane came down and carried them up.

Roman and Seth sat at their kitchen table and tried to enjoy their pizza. They had done all they could. If they were lucky, Randy would decide not to pay them a visit. However, if he did, they were ready; armed and ready.

Up in the attic, the children sat at the table and ate their pizza. They talked in low whispers. Adam helped Shane, between nibbles on a slice of pizza.

"These are clever." Shane pulled out a small roll of foam. When he unwrapped it, it promptly expanded to a six inch thick twin sized mattress.

Adam laughed. "Kenny Omega is a wonder." He pulled a Candy Land game out of one of the boxes. There was a wonderful, artistic popup book version of the Wizard of Oz. There were also some card games and a box that had 150 different games. The children would be well occupied.

Everything was ready. Would Randy believe it? The big question was, what would he do?

Adam, the children and Shane were hiding like little Rabbits. Would Randy, the hunter find them?
