Chapter 4
Theo is waiting for the other two to come back. A few moments later, he sees all four of them coming towards the Slytherin dormitories. 'What the?' Theo thought. Blaise and Luna were holding hands, as were Draco and Hermione.
"Hey Theo! Would you mind if the girls stayed in our dormitory tonight? McGonagall said it's fine!" Draco said triumphantly.
Theo had to think for a second about what Draco just said to him. "Uh, yeah, sure. Just be quiet so I can sleep." Theo has no clue why his best friends just fell for the two girls they hate- no, hated the most. "I'm going to bed so be quiet all night til I'm up. Thanks guys in advance." Theo left for bed after letting everyone into the common room.
The two new couples sat happily on the sofas. Luna was telling Blaise all about Nargles and Wrackspurts. He nodded along like he understood, but he was extremely confused.
Draco was looking at Hermione like he wanted to say something. 'She is so beautiful, even in the darkest of places. Kinda like Dumbledore's quote: "Happiness can be found in even the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light." I love everything about her, I just dunno how to say it…' he thinks and hates himself for it. "Draco," starts Hermione, "I just want you to know that I love you and you mean everything to me," she finishes while blushing. "Hermione, don't worry, I love you too and I can't imagine my life without you. Can we put the past behind us?" Her brown eyes start to shimmer with tears as she exclaims, "Yes! That would be wonderful and we could have a fresh start and-!" She got cut off because Draco started to kiss her.
To witness, the other two stopped talking and every so often, would glance back at each other. At Luna's last glance at Blaise, he grabbed her hand and took her to the boy's dormitory. 'Oh shit. I forgot about Theo,' Blaise thought to himself. He looked at Luna and put his finger up to his lips, telling her to be quiet. He made her walk to his bed very quietly. He whispered in her ear, "You sleep here. I'll be in another bed or in the common room if you need me." She nods. She said very meekly, "Thank you and I love you." "Of course. Anything for my Angel. Love you too."
