"I remember it well," Rufus said for the thousandth time in the last ten minutes. It was really beginning to get on Reedus' nerves. While he would agree with Rufus' excellent memory and flowery way of words, Reedus was able to draw stunningly beautiful paintings of various Sabertooth members without causing any….scenes, it was not worth the aggravation of constantly hearing those words over and over and over again. Fortunately they were almost finished as Yukino's position had been painted, and where her arms were, and the little bit of toast, and the tiny splodge of jam on the corner of her lips, and her odd bag with the even odder Arcadios keychain thing were all painted. It was now only her clothes that needed painting. There were great grey blocks on her torso where Reedus had yet to put her outfit on. "She was in a dark green mini-skirt, a little darker than that, yes, yes, that's it, and she was in a khaki blouse that gapped a little, here, and here, and her belly button was on show, it was a cropped blouse, yes, that's right, and she had on a tie-"
"Finished!" Reedus burst out.
The painting was now complete and thank God. Reedus might be willing to paint anything for money instead of fighting or really difficult jobs, but that didn't mean he could put up with someone hovering behind him and directing him like that.
He was an artist, not an actor, and it would be a relieve to finally be rid of Rufus…..who really never shuts up! How the hell did Gray manage to not kill him during their fight?
"Perfect," Rufus said with great satisfaction, "just how I pictured it."
"Oui," Reedus agreed on the perfect bit but the words 'how I pictured it' made him suspicious, "but I know Yukino somewhat well, and I have never seen her dress like this," he voiced said suspicion.
"Oh, you are quite correct," Rufus smiled, "although her walk, the jammy toast, and the Arcadios mascot, are all things I genuinely remember, I made up the outfit."
"…..Why?" Reedus asked nervously.
"Whose room do you think this painting will cause a prank war most?" Rufus asked distractedly. "Sting's room or Rogue's room. If it is in Rogue's room, Sting would be more likely to lash out that Rogue, but more likely with his fists, while Rogue isn't as likely to start a conflict but he's very good at getting revenge on the sly. Do you know he managed to give Gajeel-kun boils for three whole months back when they were in Phantom Lord together?"
"Wait, are you telling me you wanted me to paint this so you could start a prank war?!"
"Yes," Rufus straightened his cravat, "I have yet to forgive either Sting or Rogue for every slight I remember since we have first met. Playing them against one another over Yukino-Chan will ensure they are severely punished without getting my hands dirty. It shall be an enjoyable and memorable time."
Reedus sweat-dropped and began to edge away from Rufus as quickly as possible.
