Summary: Gajeel and Levy's morning after comes with a third wheel….

Pairings: Gajeel/Levy, implied one-sided Jet/Levy/Droy, and Gajeel/Lily/Levy friendship.

YouTube Prompt: Tribute for the search of a family in Fairy Tail to 'Journey to the Past' from Anastasia.

Levy's bed was distinctively hard. She initially thought she had managed to fall asleep on her book but when she shifted in an attempt to get comfortable, she didn't hear the crackling noise of the pages getting crushed, and, much to her horror, she realised her skin, all of her skin, was stuck to something sweaty.

Then, Levy's bed moved.

An arm wrapped round her and she suddenly fell from the top of her hard, sticky, bed to a more comfortable, sot, bed, as something nuzzles against her hair.

Her eyes flew open as realisation sunk in quickly.

She was not in her home. She was not in her bed. She was in the arms of a man….

A quick look round told her she was in Gajeel's home, Gajeel's bed, and Gajeel's arms. Naked! The metal scattered everywhere, the plainness and simplicity of everything, and the strong bicep with the black guild mark, had been her clues. Oh, and the lack of clothes, of course.

And then suddenly she was hit with the memory of partying in the guild, of Cana roping them all in a drinking game, and of her pulling Gajeel into a hot, passionate, kiss that made Jet and Droy weep, and then suddenly being swept of her feet…

Warily, Levy lifted her head up and blushed as she caught the dark, intense, gaze of Gajeel Redfox.

"…hi," she squeaked eventually.

"Yo," he replied with great boredom, "You all right?"

"Yeah…" Levy mumbled, "erm….was last night good?"

She meant a hundred and one different things by that, was it enjoyable? Did he want to do it again? Was she like any of the other girls or was she the only girl he ever had? Would this mean they have a relationship? Does he want a relationship? Did he love her? Would he….just a lot of things. She wanted to know a lot of different things.

"Gihihihihihi," Gajeel snickered, "last night was good," he reassured her as he stroked her hip. She muffled a moan in response. His gruff touch spiked something in her that she only ever read in books before. "I enjoyed it."

"I enjoyed it too" she confessed shyly.

"Believe me," a dry voice could be heard above them, "it was very obvious that both of you enjoyed it very much."

"LILY!"

"WHAT THE HELL, CAT? HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN HERE?!"

"The entire time."

"WHY?!"

"It's my bedroom too."

A quick scan of the room told Levy that was definitely true. There was a small bed, perfect for Lily's size, made out of metal, and a similarly small wardrobe and dresses beside it. Levy almost died of embarrassment as the memory of Lily leaving well before Cana's drinking game came back to her.

The door slamming, the moaning and grunting, must have woken Lily up well before the screaming and….err, other noises they made, happened.

Levy almost died of shame as she gathered as much of Gajeel's duvet to cover herself as she could. Gajeel, being the useful lug of metal he was, merely spluttered in reply to Lily's cool, calm, and dry attitude.

"Fuck, Cat," Gajeel grumbled, "couldn't you have flown out of the window and slept in a tree or something?"

"Why?" Lily glowered, "this is my home too. If you were really that desperate you could have gone to hers."

"And what?!" Gajeel snapped. "Get beaten up by those insane women she lives with? Hell no."

"Well then," Lily said calmly, "there are only two solutions to this. Either I move out or we find a place with two bedrooms."

They found a place with two bedrooms.

There was no real other option, they couldn't not have Lily in their lives. He was important to the pair of them, and being a warrior he had no problem with Levy putting most of her books in his room, he had little else to put in there.

Jet and Droy, however, wailed the entire time they helped.
