Summary: I thought it was a little weird that Freed could practically sexually harass Laxus and not a single guy made a joke at their expense….so I thought this was the most plausible explanation.
Pairings: Juvia/Gray, implied Laxus/Cana (friendship or romance, your choice), Juvia/Gajeel friendship, one-sided Freed/Laxus, Freed/Juvia friendship, and other friendship feels.

It was a completely normal day at the guild which is why no one was surprised, or at all bothered, when Gray ran out of the new baths screaming, and Juvia followed not long afterwards.
"GRAY-SAMA!" Juvia wailed after the soapy and naked ice mage. "LET JUVIA TAKE CARE OF YOU!"
"I said no!" Gray yelled over his shoulder as he ducked behind Natsu and Lucy. "I can wash and dry myself, Juvia!"
"But Juvia wishes to serve Gray-sama hand and foot in order to show her love and devotion to Gray-sama!" Juvia pouted. "And no matter how amazing Gray-sama is, Gray-sama cannot massage his own back! Let Juvia look after you!"
At that, Juvia dived at Gray, hands out-stretched and ready to grab hold of much skin as she could get her hands on. Gray squealed and shot a betrayed look as both Natsu and Lucy stepped aside (Natsu he could get, in hindsight it was a fucking stupid idea to hide behind him, but Lucy?!), when Gajeel swooped in and saved the day by pulling Juvia back.
"Hold ya horses, Rain Woman," he grunted, "we've been through this before. Snow Fairy over there is a fucking girl, he needs more time before he can handle a physical relationship."
"What the fuck?!" Gray yelled. "I'm not a girl. I just like my personal space."
"Quit whinging," Laxus growled, "some of us have been up all night with Cana, and would appreciate some silence."
"YOU!" Gray pointed at Laxus dramatically. "This is your fault!"
Laxus raised an eyebrow. "What?"
"If you never allowed Freed to slobber all over you in public then Juvia would have never gotten the idea to try and wash me and dry me and give me a massage," Gray explained, "So this is your fault! In future keep your relationship behind doors and away from Juvia!"
"I do not slobber over Laxus-sama!" Freed huffed. "And don't make aspirations on mine and Laxus-sama's friendship. What makes you think I am worthy of him?"
Several people stared at Freed in concern but they were ignored.
"Freed's just a friend," Laxus muttered.
"Oh please," Gray rolled his eyes, "everyone knows the pair of you are shagging. What with Freed constantly being all over you, and the way you dress, and the fact neither of you have ever dated a – AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!"
Gray suddenly fell to the floor and suffered a severe seizure due to being electrocuted by Laxus.
"Gray-sama!" Juvia wailed as she jumped away from Gajeel and rushed to her love's side. "How could you be so cruel?!" she glowered at Laxus. "All Gray-sama did was speak the truth! The beautiful, loving, devotion Freed-kun has for you inspired Juvia to be just as devoted to her Gray-sama. Juvia thinks Freed-kun could do better!"
Everyone's jaw dropped as Juvia instantly flopped on the floor after a very quick, almost painless (at least that's what it seemed as Juvia didn't scream), bolt of lightning knocked her out.
"The fuck?!" Gajeel growled. "Don't zap my friend because you're insecure with your – AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!"
Laxus whirled round to face the rest of the guild, electricity jumping off of him, as he shot his dirtiest, deadliest, glare at them. "Anyone else," he snarled, "want to make a comment on my friendship with Freed?"
Everyone else took a step back, hastily shook their heads, and instantly changed the subject (well okay, Natsu had to say something, and he too was left unconscious on the floor but he's an idiot and it was sort of expected from him).
Ever since then, no one dared speak a word about the weird, homo-erotic, friendship between Freed and Laxus.
