Coconut Mall

Coconut Mall is a large mall located by the beach on the western side. Populated by Miis, Nokis, and Piantas, it's a popular place for tourists, and also a popular place for racing. Be wary, though. Don't let rogue green shells, homing red shells, abstract red fake item boxes, ripe yellow bananas, and winged spiny blue shells ruin your shopping day.

70. Coconut Mall Shops Be Changing

"You know, I never noticed it," Birdo commented as she was walking through the Coconut Mall, standing in front of a new McDonald's that was just established at the staircase leading downward to the outdoor garden on the western side of the course. "Is that there seem to be new stores every single month."

"New in general, or new stores that just happen to replace old stores?" Yoshi asked as he was munching on a strawberry pop tart, blinking as he gulped down. "Because I see the latter occur a lot here. Mainly when I race with the other guys."

Birdo wrapped her arms around the back of her head as she shrugged. "I'm going to take a guess that the Coconut Mall wants to stay hip and relevant, and that it goes through several changes every month."

"That sounds about right." Yoshi commented as he finished his pop tart, rubbing his stomach as he licked his lips. "In fact, that new McDonald's is looking pretty appealing now..."

Birdo rolled her eyes as she faced Yoshi, rolling her left hand. "Oh Yoshi, you always seem to want to eat anything at any given opportunity." She chuckled as she and Yoshi went to check out the McDonald's.
