Leave me your coments.

BirdsandStars

I feel the sound of a door closing and I open my eyes. I don't know how long I've been in here. I check the time on the phone. It's 7:30 pm. One hour. I've fallen asleep.

I wake up and start bathing. I come out of the bath with one towel wrapped around my body while the other one dries my hair.

— It's too much to ask that Kate would have left her hair dryer. — I say to myself as I look around the room.

No. She didn't forget.

I wrap my hair in the towel and go out to the kitchen with the intention of preparing some dinner. I need to eat something before Kate comes to get me or else, I know I won't last the night.

But when I get there, to my surprise, someone has gone ahead of me. On the counter there's a covered plate and on it a blue note that I imagine Christian must have left.

I hope you like it.

Christian

Not many words, I see. Is he shy? I'll uncover the plate. Mac and cheese and meatballs. I bring my nose up to the plate and it smells delicious. My stomach is growling with the smell. I'm hungry. And I quickly find myself devouring the entire plate.

As I wash the plate and silverware, I notice the stickers on the side of the counter. They are of various colors and next to them there is a pen. Apparently, it is customary here to leave notes. I smile because it's not a bad way to communicate. And since we will never meet here, this is a good way to get to know each other.

I take a fluorescent yellow one and decide to write a thank you note. But I leave out the part where he prepared my favorite food.

Thanks for dinner, it was tasty. Tomorrow I'll make something delicious for breakfast and lunch.

Ana

Where can I leave the note for him? I go over to the refrigerator and stick it on the door just at his height so he can see it.

I go to my room and start getting ready for tonight's out. I put on my dress and start putting on my makeup, leaving my hair for the end. I take off my towel.

— I don't think there's much I can do for you. — I tell him as I hold him up and look at him in the mirror.

Then something catches my eye in the reflection on one of the bedside tables. I turn and walk over there. It's a molding foam spray.

— Kate, thank you for forgetting things here.

I take it and pour some on my hand while I start to spread it on my hair and wait for it to dry. Half an hour later, I'm ready. I look in the mirror and smile satisfied with the final result. In the end I don't look so bad for not having a hair dryer. My hair falls down my back slightly wavy. Perfect.

— Are you ready? — I turn scared towards the door where Kate is.

She looks amazing, as always.

— How did you get in? — I'm curious.

— I forgot to leave you the keys. —she says with a smile as she holds them out for me. — And I brought you a gift I hope you won't refuse. —she says, hold my hand and lead me out of the bedroom.

On the kitchen counter there's a box. I look at Kate and then back at the box.

— You won't know until you open it. —she says with a smile.

—You shouldn't have bothered. — I tell her as I approach the box, I undo the tapes and open it. Inside there's an elegant bag.

— There's more inside. — she says with a smile.

I open the bag and inside there's a smaller black one.

—Seriously, you shouldn't have.

— It's no bother at all, plus I figured you'd need one for tonight. —she says to me with a smile. — And I think I got the right color.

I walk over to her and wrap her in a hug.

— Thanks for everything you've done for me today. —I'm telling her as I hugging her warmly.

— There's only one way to thank me and that's by enjoying this night like never before. —she says to me as we part.

— Okay. —I says with a smile. —I'll try.

The atmosphere at the club is great, we've never been to this one before. But it's not much different from the other clubs we've been to. Loud music and neon lights that leave you blind for moments. I can see around the floor and the bar some security guards. Like there, are some in front of the staircase that leads to the top floor where I imagine not everyone can go up.

—What are the guards for? —I ask Kate, raising my voice above the music.

—To control those who are overdrinking and trying to outdo each other with the women. —she says with a smile.

—You've been here before?

—No, someone recommended to me a few days ago and I thought we should try it out. Let's go. —she says as she leads me to the bar. —I'm going to order something that was recommended to me and that I know you need after all you've been through. —she says to me over the music.

—You know I don't like to try new things. —I yell at her, but she ignores me and signals to the bartender.

—Two Black Orgasms! —she says when he stops in front of her.

Did I hear right?

—What did you just ask for? —I ask her with a smile.

—Two cocktails. —she says with a smile.

As soon as our cocktails are ready, we take them and leave the bar. We need a table, but they're all full. I see a couple sitting at a table far away who start to pick up their things. I point Kate over there and we quickly take the place. I look at the cocktail with disapproval.

—If you don't try it you won't know if you like it. —she says to me as she takes a sip of hers.

I bring the glass to my lips and take a sip.

—It's not that bad. —I yell at her with a smile as we both toast before continuing to drink.

Another round later, we're both ready to go out on the dance floor. Kate gets up and pulls me to the center of the floor as a remix of Rihanna's We Found Love begins to play. I get carried away by the music and start moving my body to the intoxicating rhythm of the song. The dance floor quickly fills up as they watch our excitement. I smile at Kate. The night is not going so badly. Two guys join us and start dancing with us. After several songs, I'm suffocating, I need another drink. I signal to Kate and she stays on the floor while I go for two more drinks.

I signal the bartender and repeat the same order. He smiles at me and leaves to prepare my order.

—I've never seen you around here before. —I hear a voice behind me.

I turn to the voice. I recognize him as one of the guys who was dancing on the floor with me and Kate earlier.

—I've never been here before. —I yell at him over the music.

—I'm Ned. —he says, holding out his hand to me.

—Ana. —I wave back.

Ned stares at me as he smiles. He has a sweet, tender look. He's wearing a white shirt that fits his body. He's not very strong, but you can tell he exercises regularly. I look away from him and in that instant comes my order.

—No, it's on me. —he says to me as he offers to pay for the drinks nicely.

—Thank you.—I yell at him over the music.

—What table? —he asks me as he grabs the drinks from the bar.

And I lead him to our table.

Kate's sitting there talking with the other guy. They both sit next to us while we rest for a while. I take my cocktail to drink it. I must say, this one is stronger than the last one and I feel like I won't be needing any more for tonight. Kate is going to drink hers, but some drunken idiot pushes our table and spills his glass on it.

— Idiot! — she screams as she gets up and heads for the bathroom.

— Shall we dance a little longer? —asks Ned with a smile.

—All right.—I tell him by getting up from my seat.

I know, this boldness I feel is due to the cocktails I've had, and more recently. We walk to the dance floor, I don't recognize the song that's playing, but I start moving my body to the rhythm of the music as the songs change one after another without even noticing.

We must have been dancing for half an hour or more. I can't tell. Time passes quickly as I enjoy the night. Ned sticks to me, puts his hands on my waist and I start moving my body against his. I smile at him, not understanding why, as we move sensually to the rhythm of the song. I have no idea what's wrong with me, I don't usually behave like this. Much less after three cocktails. Let alone with someone I just met and only know his name. I feel his hands on my buttocks, but instead of pushing him, I smile at him. I feel sexy, sassy and extremely happy.

— Get away from her! —I feel a high-pitched voice behind me and I see a big figure dressed in black pull Ned's hands away from my body.

—We're just dancing. —says Ned to whoever has come between me and Ned.

He's taller than Ned, and much stronger. His posture is intimidating. The black shirt he's wearing fits his wide back, marking his muscles. But I cannot see his face while the lights blind me. I imagine he's one of the security guards.

—No. You were dancing, not anymore. What did you give her? —he asks suddenly.

—She's only had one cocktail. —he answers.

Then he grabs hium by the lapels of his shirt and lifts him off the floor as he walks with him into a corner and presses him against the wall.

—Leave him alone! —I yell at the gorilla who has separated us as I punch him on the back to get him off.

But he ignores me.

—Right now, you're going to tell me what you put in the drink or you're going to be sorry. —he says fiercely as he slowly puts him down.

I'm a little dull, but I think I heard perfectly.

— I just put some MDMA in it, we just wanted to have some fun. —he yells at him in fear.

—Right now, you're going to pick up your partner and get out of here. If I see you in this club again, you're going to go to jail for distributing drugs to minors.

—They're minors! We didn't know that, man.

— Get out! —he yells at him as he drops him off and a scared-faced Ned runs out.

—Asshole! I was having fun and you're ruining everything. —I yell at him, hitting him one more time, but inevitably I smile at him.

I can't help it. I feel a wave of euphoria and happiness invading me. I've never felt like this before in my life. And the truth is, I never want it to end.

—You don't know what you're saying. —he says with his back to me.

— I know I wanted something good happen to me for the first time and you've ruined it. —I scream at him as I hitting him.

Then suddenly he turns around, making me almost lose my balance. He holds my hands in the air and stares at me. He is in the darkt, but I can still see the look on his face partially and I know he is angry.

— Come with me. —he says to me as he releases one of my hands and pulls me. —Your friend, did she drink from the cocktail? —he asks as he leads me through the crowd to my table.

— No, someone spilled it. —I answers with a laugh.

I have no idea why I'm laughing.

We arrive at the table where Kate is already back, alone. She looks at me and then at my companion whom I couldn't get a good look at. But he holds me firmly by the hand.

For a brief moment, just a brief moment, I feel a tingling sensation start to run through my body from our hands together. But instantly it disappears or I ignore it, I don't know. I'm too euphoric to continue to notice it.

—You'd better call it a night. —he says in a demanding voice.

—What happened? —she asks in a frightened voice, looking in my direction.

—She's been drugged.

—God! What do I do now?

—Take her away, bathe her and give her plenty of fluids to get the drug out of her system faster.

I see Kate getting up and walking in my direction. I smile at her and stroke her face.

—You are so beautiful. —I say to her as I smile at her and let myself fall into her body.

—I can't stand her! —she cries out in exasperation as I continue to laugh for no special reason.

I feel hands on my waist holding me and sitting on the padded bench. He bends down to my height and gives me his dark, angry look. I think so, I see half a blur.

— Wait for me here. — I hear the guard's voice and see his silhouette go away.

I look towards the table. I'm thirsty. There's my cocktail, it still has some left. I reached out and I took it.

—No, Ana, stop that! —says Kate as she takes it out of my hand.

—Picks up the stuff. —I feel the guard's voice again.
