Naruto woke up, smirking. He heard babbling around him. Deciding to dignify it with a response, he just said "Leave it to me, I say!"{1}

He then finds Might Gai almost getting killed by a Truth-Seeking Ball, and proceeds to kick it away, using Rikudo Senjutsu- no need to show your hand that easy.

Madara Uchiha, who had seen that occur, was surprised. When he saw Naruto open his eyes, he was intrigued by his eyes- they were orange, with a black rectangle split in half by a slit for a pupil… Naruto had woken up by then, and was smirking at the curious glint in Madara's Rinnegan.

"Madara, you have lost. Just accept it." he said, in an emotionless, yet amused tone.

Madara had just opened his mouth to reply, when it happened.

The World started cracking around them, and no one could pinpoint the reason, not even Madara Uchiha.

And then the world shattered, leaving nothing behind.

2 weeks before Naruto's 6th Birthday, inside Naruto's mind

A five-year-old blond and blue eyed whiskered prankster-to-be was waiting impatiently for something inside his mind, and was not sure that it would come… 'Kurama sure is late' thought the young Naruto.

Just then, a small flash occurred behind him. Immediately, Naruto drew a kunai that he created, and swivelled around, poised to attack, only to stare in shock at the old man with the kindly smile in front of him. Since said old man had purple eyes (sclerae included) with rings around the black pupil, he gained something called the Rinnegan.

'The only one to possess the Rinnegan died a few thousand years ago, but this boomer has it' thought Naruto- his sense of respect was warped even before the sealing, no doubt. {2}

'So young to hold so large a burden… If only I had seen the signs earlier, and smote the conniving will-being from this world earlier' thought a sad, yet amused Hagoromo.

Apparently, Naruto also had enough of staring at wrinkled old men that were not the Hokage… some memories were just too much. Being the consummate diplomat, he asked "Who the bloody fuck are you?"

Also apparently, you do not use foul language in front of an old man, no matter how accommodating he is… seeing as Naruto now had a swelling ass that glowed red, Hagoromo really gave him a good spanking. Now that Hagoromo did something that a parent may do if necessary, his own mind cleared, making him regret spanking Naruto.

"Sorry for the spanking, young man, but you deserved it. To answer your question, I am Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, although most people know me as the Rikudō Sennin. There is a reason for my existence in the here and now, but I ask you to co-operate with me for a short amount of time."

With the boomer giving him the Rinnegan, Naruto was absolutely convinced that he was who he claimed he was, but that didn't stop him from being cautious. He did use polite language though, due to his still-burning ass-cheeks.

"So… Why would the Rikudō Sennin want to meet a person perceived as a monster for what he contains?"

Knowing that the Naruto of the future was a lot more mature, Hagoromo only hoped that the maturity would travel back with his chakra sync. "I am simply acting as a messenger for you, carrying a message from your future self. If you would hold up your palm, I would be happy to transfer the message he has given me."

Seeing no harm in it, and knowing that it may be a trap, Naruto hesitantly held up his palm. Hagoromo pressed his palm against Naruto's, and performed a technique that he had learned from Naruto- one that focused more on Ninshū than ninjutsu.

He intoned the name of Naruto's new standard technique, and thus changed the future of the Ninkai - "Kiokugaeshi" {3}

The effects were immediate- Naruto widened his eyes, and as information poured in due to his chakra signature syncing to his future self, he collapsed, hands going to his head as he screamed. The scream was one of pure agony, as his brain had to mature in accordance to the time it was syncing process proved enough to make him faint.

Hagoromo didn't have to wait for more than five seconds to see Naruto up again.

"Shouldn't you be resting?" he asked, concerned for the young boy.

"Nah, I'm fine Hagoromo. I set the mindscape such that anyone who loses his consciousness here would revive in five seconds… It's a serious time saver. Now then…" Said blonde responded before his appearance changed- to his 16-year-old self.

"There, now I'm more comfortable… I didn't think this through though. It's going to be Hell being 6 years old again- or not! Two weeks before I turn 6? I didn't think you'd go this far!"

"Well, it seems that you are back to your normal self. Any differences from before?"

"Not many… Hold on a sec, will ya?" Naruto said before he turned towards the sealgates. "OI, KURAMA! Get your furry ass over here now!"

Not long after, a deep and basal growl responded "KID, I don't plan on giving you the seal formula on your sixth birthday… not if you're this impatient!" As can be surmised, Kurama was quite pissed.

"Change of plans! We got a guest in da house! And I got some things for you, so show yourself for once in two years, will you?"

Not long after, Kurama, the large-as-the-Hokage-Monument Kyūbi no Kitsune emerged.

"Kid, I'm here, and I don't see gifts or guests… you know that pranks don't work here, so fess up!" (Hagoromo left because he wanted to surprise Yang-Kurama)

"Just extend your fist, will ya, the gift ain't tangible, Kurama!" was an expectant Naruto's response.

Figuring that the kid meant no harm, the fox extended it's right front paw in fist form. Naruto gave it a fist bump and used Kioukugaeshi on it.

Tailed Beasts don't feel that much pain, but Kurama felt a small headache coming on from the onslaught of memories. When it recovered, the fox was pissed!

"You mean to tell me that we BOTH forgot the release signs for the seal! How!?"

"Best guess? The seal affected both of us, despite the fact that only my mindscape self had the seal on. Probably due to the seal being on my body. You can come out now, Hagoromo!" Naruto hollered at the end.

"I'm going to get some actual shut-eye now. Feel free to chat the night away. Hagoromo, ya might wanna stay here now. Don't worry, you won't fade or anything… Kurama, set up a chakra link for now. Add me and Hagoromo. And destroy that seal. As I said, we have a change in plans!" Naruto smirked at the last part.

Outside Naruto's mind, Naruto's bed

Naruto woke up, feeling good. He took a second to orient himself, then grinned his 'Dotabata' grin

One thing was certain- Naruto was going to change the world

{1}- 'Dattebayo!' , 'Dattebane!', 'Dattebasa!' all mean 'Is what I said!', or any expressive alternative to that statement. As such, anywhere those three words, or their derivative extensions are used, I will roughly translate it as such.

{2}- Here, I wanted to use boomer to describe Naruto because he doesn't respect anybody without reason. This is contrary to custom in Japan, where the elders get respect regardless of anything, due to their age.

{3}- Ninkai is the closest word I've found for the name of the world Naruto is based in... None of this 'Elemental Nations' line... though I wonder why that became popular?

Anyways, I hope you like this story! Not much progression occurs in this chapter, but I will point out that Naruto will have memories of everything up till teh world broke in the previous timeline.
