"Oh Natsu-sama!"

Lucy's eye twitched at the irritating coo while Happy's fur also seemed on end. They had been in the middle of gathering supplies for their long walk (as Natsu won the argument – this time – on whether to walk or get the train) home after a job when they had been ambushed by Natsu's newfound fangirls.

Yeah, Lucy couldn't believe it either.

Normally she wouldn't mind, actually, she would have found it freaking hilarious as Natsu looked very uncomfortable from this attention which was weird for the guy that literally stood on the table and started belly-dancing to get everyone's attention once, but as time dragged on, she was becoming more and more irritated. These skanks (and no this was not the jealousy talking, they were wearing virtually nothing compared to Lucy, and that was definitely saying something) were literally all over Natsu. One had her hand across his collarbone, her fingers digging into his shoulder, while another hung off of his arm, and another was so close behind him that she was breathing down his neck.

Each time they said something they stroked a bit of Natsu's skin or fluttered their eyelashes or rubbed themselves against him like they were a cat in heat.

"Why won't he just tell them to go away?" Happy mumbled. "He obviously doesn't like it."

"He's too nice," Lucy said quietly. She hoped that was the answer because if it turned out tha Happy was wrong and Natsu was actually enjoying that attention then she will…..do absolutely nothing because she is not jealous. (Though she was fantasying tearing out the blonde girl's hair as she seemed to try and shove her cleavage in Natsu's face.) "He's too polite to tell them to leave him alone."

"Huh," Happy said, "well you're not nice, you go and tell them to go away!"

"What do you mean I'm not nice?!" Lucy hissed. "Why you little-"

"Oh Natsu-sama!" one of the girl's squealed. "You're so brave and strong taking on both of the Twin Dragons like that. You make me feel so safe with your biceps around me."

Lucy's hand tightened and her nails pierced into the bit of the fruit she was considering buying. Happy squawked indignantly as peach juice splattered his fur but she ignored him as she glowered in Natsu's direction.

"Erm…."

"Hey, Natsu-sama," another girl purred, "why don't you come over and play with us."

Natsu opened his mouth to answer but didn't get the chance to say anything as Lucy dived in and pushed the skanks out of the way before she flung her arms round his neck and pressed her lips against the corner of his. Natsu went bright pink as he spluttered his shock while Lucy turned round and smiled sweetly at the skanks who were completely floored. "Sorry girls," she said in a falsely cheerful and nice voice, "he already has a playdate with me."

"I-I-I do?!"

"Oh yes, you're mine," Lucy said sternly, "and no one else's," she shot a venomous look at the skanks and they all flinched in unison though they didn't run away (much to Lucy's annoyance, she'll have to ask Erza how she does it), she then turned back to Natsu, her hand trailing down his neck, his collarbone, his shoulder, and down his arm, pausing for a moment to caress his biceps as she made her point to the skanks behind her, all mine, the possessive thought jumped out before she could stop it, before she finally slipped her hand into his and threaded their fingers together. "And we're going home. Now."

And with that, she dragged Natsu by the hand and left the skanks to standing there still shell-shocked. Natsu happily followed them and didn't even give those skanks a second glance let alone say goodbye as he seemed far more interested in following Lucy.

Ha! Take that, you flirty skanks!

"So what are we going to play Lucy?" Natsu asked cheerfully. "Ninjas? Tag? Hide and seek?"

"What on earth are you on about?" Lucy raised an eyebrow.

"You said we already have a playdate," Natsu said bewildered, "so I thought we were going to play."

"Natsu," Lucy pinched her nose as she felt a headache caused by Natsu's stupidity coming on, "I didn't mean that sort of playing."

"There's a different type of playing?!"

"Yes, what did you think that girl wanted to do with you?" Lucy asked irritated. "Play tea parties with her teddy bears?"

"….Yes?"

Lucy sighed. "You're an idiot," she told him.

"Yeah," Natsu agreed happily, "but I'm your idiot. You said so yourself!"

Lucy flushed as she remembered what she said. Urgh! Slip of the tongue, she meant he was her partner not that he was hers. "I suppose I did," she managed to say, she found herself to be too embarrassed to say anything else.

"And you're mine."

"Yes," Lucy couldn't help but smile, "I suppose I am."

"Tee-hee!" Happy giggled from above them. "You liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike each other!"
