Natsu woke up with a pounding headache, and Gray and Happy leaning over him in concern. For a moment the whole world spun and then blurred slightly before it came back into focus.
"W-what happened?" he slurred. "Did Erza knock me out?"
"No, she hasn't been near you!" Happy squeaked in alarm. "Something just hit you in the head and you collapsed. Are you okay, Natsu?!"
"Yeah, fine," Natsu muttered as he tried to pat Happy's head reassuringly…..and got Gray instead. "What hit me?"
"Gerroff me, you lunatic!" Gray yelped as he swatted Natsu's hand away. He then, weirdly, looked down at the floor, grinned, and pushed something away. "Didn't you see it?" he said in a weird, sickly sweet, tone.
"See what?"
"The sky."
"Eh?" Natsu blinked. "I can see the sky now."
"Not that bit of the sky," Gray rolled his eyes, "the other bit of the sky. The bit that fell off and hit you right in the head."
"THE SKY HIT ME?! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!"
"I read in one of Levy's books that the sky falling is a sign of the apocalypse," Gray said wisely, "we should go inside before another bit of it falls down."
"What's an apocalypse?" Natsu asked.
Gray started at Natsu as if he was a complete moron. "The end of the world," he snapped, "God you're such a mor-"
"THE END OF THE WORLD?!" Natsu shrieked. "We have to warn people! We have to tell them all before it's too late! HEY EVERYONE, THE SKY IS FALLING!"
"Erm, Natsu," Happy sweat-dropped, "the sky didn't hit you, silly, it was an ac-"
"Shh!" Gray hissed to the kitten. "It's a joke," he whispered, "We're playing a prank on Natsu."
Happy stared up at Gray with wide, innocent, eyes which made Gray melt just a little bit (but tell anyone and he'll freeze your bits off). "We are?" Happy asked. Gray nodded his reply while Natsu was beginning to run round like a maniac as he screamed on the top of his head. "Tee-hee!" Happy giggled. "This is going to be fun."
Two hours later, all the young members of the guild, and their unfortunate babysitters (Macao and Wakaba) sat on the guild building's rooftop as they watched in horror as Natsu symmetrically, accidentally, burnt the town to the ground in his panic.
"THE SKY IS FALLING!" he screamed. "IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! THE SKY IS FALLING!"
"You know," Gray said uncomfortably as he watched Natsu accidentally burn a house down in his panic, "something tells me this prank is really going to bite me back in the arse."
"Really?" Cana said sarcastically. "What gave you that idea, the fact Magnolia is burning to the ground or the fact the Mayor has already promised to sue us?"
"No actually," Gray shifted nervously, "it was the fact that Erza has spent the last hour and half trying to pick a weapon to murder me with and no one has tried to stop her!"
