Sorry for the huge delay. I've been really busy for the past few months. Once again, thank you all for the feedback!

Chapter 11

5:45 AM

By then, the mascots were woken up. Amelia, Jim, and David were all there to move the mascots from the building to the vehicles.

Amelia held several black cloaks long enough to cover the entire bodies of the mascots.

"Well, we had no choice but to give you all these," Amelia said as she passed the cloaks one by one. "Do you all prefer to keep the cloaks on and ride in a car, or sit in a trailer without them?"

The sleepy mascots thought long and hard.

"Gee, I don't know..."

Suddenly, the door opened again. Amelia turned around to see Mrs. Diane approaching her. She was carrying her phone.

Diane cleared her throat.

"Mrs. Amelia, Mr. Afton would like to inform you that the mascots all have their very own trailer to be placed in."

The mascots all got excited upon hearing that.

"Really?"

"Mhm. There's nothing to worry about. The trailer doesn't have a lot of windows. If it happens to face the direction of the sun, they can be closed with window shades."

"Thank you, Mrs. Diane," Amelia said.

With that, Diane stepped back outside.

"Did you guys hear that???" Amelia asked with excitement.

"Of course we did!" Bonnie answered.

"We have our own trailer!!!" Chica exclaimed.

"So, where is it?" Freddy asked.

"Well, put on your cloaks first. I'm going to look for it. Wait for me to come back, okay?"

"Alright," they all said in response.

In no time, Amelia stepped out of the building to search for the trailer. There was a line of cars and SUVs waiting. The first one had already left.

Upon seeing that, she quickly looked side to side and found the trailer. It was small, but a good size for four passengers. Amelia looked at the windows.. To her surprise, every window had a pair of curtains.

Good. It's safe from the sun, she concluded.

Once the first car started, more cars started to leave for the city two hours away. The driver of the trailer pulled up right in front of the entrance pavement. Amelia instructed them to stop and wait for the mascots.

Amelia ran inside.

"Come on, guys!"

The mascots quickly covered their faces, shoved their hands inside pockets, and huddled together to form shadows in between them. Their cloaks extended long enough so that their feet were covered as well.

Amelia guided them safely to the trailer.

"Okay guys, have fun! I'll be in another car."

She was about to step off the trailer until she stopped herself. She remembered what she had in mind the day before leaving.

"Foxy?" She said, turning around.

"Yes?"

She then pulled a two way radio out of her left pocket.

"Take this. You can talk to me whenever you want to, just in case, alright?"

"I see. Alright!"

"Good idea," Freddy said.

"Bye guys! See you all there!"

As they said goodbye to each other, everyone finally left the restraunt. Within minutes, a construction team would soon arrive.

6:25 AM

Because the mascots were woken up early in the morning, they were tired. Chica and Freddy fell asleep. Bonnie and Foxy, however, were still awake.

Their trailer was very similar to a trailer house, but it was more portable. There was a bed just big enough for two, a small couch, a TV that didn't work, and some empty cabinets. Foxy sat next to Bonnie on the couch.

"So, what do you think about...you know...all of this?" Foxy started.

Bonnie turned slightly.

"It's...crazy, but fun at the same time, I gotta admit," he answered. "Why do you ask?"

Foxy thought about his dream he had the night before.

"I just wanted to know."

"Well, what about you? What do you think about helping a business grow?" Bonnie asked.

"As long as I'm with my friends, I'm fine with everything."

"Hmm, that's good to hear."

It grew silent. The only thing they could hear were the tires of vehicles running on the road.

"Bonnie..."

"Hmm?"

"I have something I want to tell you all once we get to the new location."

Bonnie was a little skeptical.

"What do you mean?"

"It's very important. I will explain it when we get there, and when we are alone."

"You can't tell me now?"

"Chica and Freddy are tired. I'll let them rest."

"What about you? Are you tired?"

"I'm not fully awake myself. And you?"

"I'm the same."

"Forget about what I said just now. Let's enjoy our day. I'll bring it up once the day's over."

"...Okay..."

Bonnie didn't know what Foxy was up to. What could be so important that everyone needed to know?

Foxy covered his head with the cloak and turned around, putting his knees on the couch cushion. Bonnie looked at the fox as he did so.

Foxy put two of his gray fingers in between the window shades, pushing them to make an opening. Now, he could see the outside world from a safe place. The sun was nowhere to be seen, thankfully.

Cars, trucks, and all types of vehicles drove by. Grass alongside the road got farther and farther away, trees could be seen in the distance, perfect white clouds sat in the sky, and birds flew by.

Foxy is in love when it comes to nature. He adored every aspect: color, feeling, weather, types of life, size, smell, structures, and more.

His bright yellow eyes just grew bigger as he watched.

"What are you looking at?" Bonnie asked. He soon peeked as well.

"I'm looking at a lot of things, really," Foxy responded.

Bonnie looked to where Foxy was looking at.

"You're looking at grass?"

"Not just the grass, Bonnie. Look at the aspects of what's it like being outside. Can't you see the colors everywhere? The way the clouds look from above us? The thin blades of grass dancing in the wind? It's nature, Bonnie. I'll admit it...I'm fascinated."

"...Huh...I guess you're on to something," Bonnie murmured.

Foxy's grin suddenly shrunk.

"I wish we could all go out during the daylight. I mean, I appreciated the time we had at night, but the daytime is a completely different story, y'know?"

"I know what you mean."

They continued to talk about the outside world until they grew more tired and eventually dozed off on each couch. They were now one hour into the trip.

The night before

Analyzing the final blueprints for reconstruction, William sat on a desk inside the same office building he was in a week earlier.

Diane was accompanying him. William then sat up and closed his laptop.

"Everything's going well," he said as he got up and placed the laptop in his bag.

"You really think these four...entities...can really help us grow?" Diane asked.

William stopped before the door. He looked back wearing a grin.

"Trust me, Diane. I know they will do well."

Diane smiled back.

He then turned back and left the room.

Very few people were left inside the building. It was getting late, and William knew he needed rest for the big day tomorrow.

On his way to the apartment complex he resided in, William thought about Diane's question.

Then, he started thinking about Freddy and his friends.

Where did they even come from? He thought to himself. Can I really just...put all my trust into those four?

It's like...in some sort of way...

...they feel familiar...

Hmm. Whatever.

They were very interactive, weren't they? No robot can replace them for the time being.

Afton finally entered his apartment. He put his stuff down on a table and sat down on his bed.

As time progressed, he could not stop thinking about the mascots.

They have to be connected to me. Someway, somehow.

William opened his closet, looked through a pile of devices he stored in one pile and found a small camera. He closed the closet door and placed the camera in his shirt pocket.

A sudden gust of air blew behind him.

Alarmed, William turned almost instantly. There was nothing there. He looked around. Nothing.

A sweat drop formed on his temple. He felt as if he were being watched.

And he was.

A black shadow hid behind his closet door. It yearned to do something to the man standing outside of the closet, but since it was only a ghost, it could do nothing. A spirit like Charlie cannot interfere with a human unless she possessed a physical form.

She decided what had to be done next. Her shadow soon dissolved in thin air.

She needed a way to communicate with all four of the mascots.

7:30 AM

After arriving in the rather large city, the group of vehicles parked at the restraunt. It was a little bigger than the one back at their hometown

The trailer stopped. Freddy was the first one to wake up. He rubbed one eye and looked both ways. Observing the windows, he saw more light was shining towards his left. So, he lifted one shutter to his right.

He immediately saw the building and smiled.

"Guys, wake up! We're here!"

The front doors closed. The four mascots, each still wearing their cloaks, looked around inside the different looking restaurant.

Amelia came up to them.

"So, how is it?" She asked.

"It's nice," Bonnie commented.

"More room than the other one," Freddy replied.

"I'd say there's more to this place than ours," Chica remarked.

Foxy said nothing. Instead of thinking of something to say to Amelia, he paid close attention to the group of men at the stage.

He tried not to make himself look obvious, however. He eventually turned his head towards Amelia and his friends, but he glued his eyes to the stage.

They were carrying something. What were they doing up there?

Foxy squinted his eyes. Then, as the men turned to the opened storage room, he could now see brown legs. They looked like they were made out of hard plastic.

Wait. Brown legs? It had the same brown color as Freddy.

Could that be what he thought it was?

"Alright, Mr. Afton plans for you all to stay in this location for two months."

Everyone gasped quietly.

"Wait...two months?????" Freddy whispered loudly.

"I thought this was just for a week..." Bonnie murmured.

"Unfortunately, remodeling a restraunt does not take a day. But hey, you all will go back once it's done. And it'll be even better! I promise."

"Well...alright," Freddy said.

Foxy turned again to see that the group of men came back from one of the corridors behind the main stage.

"You can take it from here, ma'am!" One of the men informed.

Amelia gestured to them as they walked out of the building. As soon as they left, a few employees settled inside.

She led the mascots to their places for the day. Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica were all amazed by the slightly bigger size of the stage, as well as deep red curtains on both sides, a decorative wall, and three stage lights on the top.

Foxy was content with the circular stage at Pirate's Cove. It was empty, but at least it wasn't filled with junk.

Unfortunately for them, the day starts in 15 minutes. With the little sleep they had, none of the mascots knew if they had the energy to stay awake and entertain their audience. Before William left his apartment to the construction site, he opened an application on his computer. It was a camera tracker. He stopped the recording and saved the video file. He was not supervising the footage, but something told him to hide a camera and record the mascots. Even William found something fishy about them. He thought they were too...special, too good for his company.

He decided to view the footage at the end of the day. He then dialed a phone number and called.

"Mr. Afton?"

"Yes. Get a trailer ready. I want you to bring an animatronic to the mascot's temporary location."

"An animatronic? W-why?"

"Do what I say, that is an order."

"Sorry sir. But, which one?"

His eyes looked ahead, away from the phone.

"Send in..."

"The Puppet."Another group of men came in, lifting a large box that resembled a wrapped present. It was closed, but it looked heavy.

Foxy was the first one to see it.

What is it? He thought.

The box was set down a few inches away from the Pirate's Cove stage.

"What a weird request, huh?"

"Yeah."

The men walked out.

Foxy peeked to take a closer look. He then looked at the trio on the main stage.

Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica were also puzzled.

The box suddenly opened. The mascots swung their heads to lay their eyes on the mysterious object.

Then, a tall and thin figure arose. It wore a white mask with red cheeks and purple lines running down the eyes.

It resembled a puppet, but to the mascots, it looked unnerving.

"Foxy, it's me."

The puppet didn't move an inch, but it still spoke. Foxy knew it was the voice he heard in his dreams.

He sat back behind the curtain to hide his reaction.

"...Huh?"

"Foxy, I possess the very object you look at."

"Wait...so now, you're...here?"

"Yes. I am now closer to the four of you."

"...Am I dreaming?"

"No. I am talking to you at this very moment.."

Foxy was bewildered.

"I will talk to you all when the moon shows. I assume you also wanted to talk to your friends, am I right?"

"...Yeah."

It was a long day for everyone. As soon as everyone left, Foxy got up and gathered everyone near the box.

"You wanted to speak with us?" Freddy asked.

Bonnie was looking forward to what Foxy had to say to him and the rest of his friends.

"That's right. I've been silent about it for a few days, but take a look at this...puppet."

They all squinted at the white mask. At first, the puppet looked lifeless. It didn't move, and it didn't make a sound.

Suddenly, bright white dots appeared in the middle of the eye sockets.

Freddy, Chica, and Bonnie gasped.

Then, the puppet moved its head and its arms. It observed everyone there.

"Hello, everyone."

"WHAT?!" Bonnie screamed.

"Bonnie, let me explain!" Foxy quickly said. Freddy and Chica were frozen in shock.

"W-who are you?" Freddy asked.

"My name is...well...for now, you can call me Puppet. I will not reveal my real name yet. Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, I will now tell you about myself and why you are gathered here with me. However, I cannot go on unless you promise me something."

"...What would that be?" Chica asked

"Promise me that you all can continue to entertain your audiences even after I reveal this shocking news. Promise me that you will not tell anyone about this, not even someone you talk to a lot."

The mascots thought about it for a while before deciding.

"Alright," Freddy said.

And so, Charlie's soft-spoken voice sighed as she began to tell her side of the story.

"My name is Charlie Emily. I had little to no friends. My mother died when she gave birth to me, so the only person I was close to was my father, Henry Emily. When I was just a little girl, I was murdered near one of the old Fazbear restaurants in the 1980s.

However, when I died, my soul was able to roam the earth freely. I could not rest in peace. Not yet, at least. As time went on, my soul grew a little older. I also gained abilities, such as item creation, abilty to possess an inanimate object, soul gathering, and most importantly..."

"...soul transfer."

"Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, you all are currently replacing the animatronic mascots of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, and I was the one who made it happen. By using soul transfer, you entered into this world again."

"You all have a purpose: to entertain, to help those around you, and to show the world that you only know how to express love and care."

"Now, I will explain more about my abilities."

"Everytime I do something, it uses up energy. Every soul that does not leave the earth has energy. If there was no energy, that soul simply fades into non-existence. If I can simply not do anything that requires energy, I can conserve it, as well as regenerate it. Soul transfer uses up the most energy. When I moved your souls to your new bodies, it used up half of my energy. Currently, my energy level is still in half, but that is because I had been using abilities for the past few days."

"Even though it looks like I know a lot about everything, I actually don't know a lot. For example, I don't know why our souls don't move on to the afterlife, I don't know how to leave the earth, and I don't know who was responsible for my death."

"There is...something I have to tell you all..."

"In the 1990s, all four of you..."

"...were also murdered by the same person that killed me."

"After your bodies died, I soon found out and collected your roaming souls. I held on to you all as soon as I could find a way to bring you back to life."

"And so I have. Now, it is okay to cry. I know how painful it can be to realize that this isn't your first life. You most likely had friends, family, and great memories in your past life. Perhaps you all knew each other back then."

"I have a proposal to you all."

"Keep doing the things you all do every day. After serious thinking, I have decided that I will not use any of you to my advantage. I will solve this mystery myself. I will find out who murdered us, and I will let us go to the place we all deserve to be in: heaven."

"We can all be free once this is over."

"But this will take time. Does everyone understand?"

There was an everlasting silence in the dark dining area. When Charlie revealed her explanation, the mascots were all on their knees listening.

Once it was finished, tears fell out of Chica's eyes. Then, Freddy's eyes. Then, Bonnie's eyes.

Foxy, on the other hand, was too shocked to even move.

"S-so...you're telling me...this isn't...us?" Freddy sniffled.

"Who am I?" Chica asked.

"How can I...go on knowing this?" Bonnie questioned.

The puppet lowered its head.

"I wasn't looking forward to this day. I am very sorry for making you feel this way, everyone. But, as I said, I will make up for this. Can you promise to believe in me?"

It was silent again.

Then, Freddy stood up, with a tear falling on the ground.

"...Yeah." He looked both ways, eyeing his friends. "What else can we do, anyway?"

Foxy looked up at the puppet with confused eyes. The puppet looked at him back, as if she were trying to tell him something in secret.

"I cannot show myself around humans, so I will not actively possess this puppet during the daytime. If there is a night guard, I will not move. I will only speak to you all if there is an emergency, or if nobody is here. I have already detected no life forms here. A night guard isn't here."

The puppet stood up, and lowered into the box.

"Good night, friends."

As the box silently closed, Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica got up and went to their stage to fall asleep, questioning their existence.

Foxy didn't move. He stared at the box for quite a while. He only had one thought in his mind.

"Why didn't you tell me?"
