Nat POV:
"Are sure everything is ready, Maria?" I ask her, freaking out! Today's my wedding day and it starts soon. I just can't have anything go wrong!
"Yes, Natasha. For the last time, everything is okay, the courtyard is arranged, and the guest should be coming soon." She says comfortingly.
"MARIA! I forgot I have no one to walk me down the aisle!" I say on the verge of tears! Who knew I could get so emotional.
"No, I think you do." I hear a man's voice and I turn and see Nick. I rush over to him and hug him.
"You'd do that for me, Nick?!" I ask?
"Of course, Natasha. You were always like a daughter to me, so I would be honored to walk my daughter down the aisle." He says, smiling at me.
"Thank you, Nick! I have always thought of you as a father too!" I say hugging him again.
"Sorry to interrupt this little moment, but the guests are arriving." Maria says.
"You do know the guests are just families of our friends." I say.
"Okay, but they're still here, which means it's almost wedding time!" She says excitedly. "I need to start getting you ready then!" She says and starts doing my hair and then she puts the veil on me.
I hear the piano start playing and I know it's time to start walking out there.
Tony POV:
Me and Clint are behind the altar while he fixes up my suit.
"I'm so nervous right now! Anything could go wrong! There could be bad guys doing something bad, for all you know there could be another alien attack!" I say freaking out. Then I feel a sharp slap on my cheek.
"What was that for?!" I ask Clint.
"For 1, you need to stop freaking out, I had a wedding day too you know. I was freaking out and then it turned out alright in the end! And 2nd, you're staining your suit with sweat so knock it off. Nat doesn't want to kiss a sweating man.
"Alright, maybe I just need to calm down. Oh there's Peter, looks like he just got here with his aunt." I say and go say hi.
"Hi Peter and Ms. Parker, thanks for coming!" I say.
"Thank you for inviting us, Mr. Stark." Aunt May says.
"Ya, thank you so much, we were so excited when we got the invitations!" Peter says excitedly, he's about to say more but then Aunt May cuts him off.
"Okay, let's give him some space now, Pete." Aunt May says and drags him to the chairs.
I go and walk back to Clint who is standing at the altar.
"I bet the kids are excited." Clint says.
"Oh yeah, he's very excited." I say laughing. "Is Laura and the kids coming?" I ask curiously.
"Yeah, Laura's just having problems with Nate, you know he's a baby, so he doesn't want to wear a suit." He says laughing.
"Poor Laura, probably a lot of screaming was involved." I say.
"Oh I can bet you that happened. Oh there they are." He says and I look to see a frustrated Laura coming in the courtyard with her three kids.
I walk over to Lila and kneel down to her eye level. "Thank you so much Lila for being my flower girl!" I say smiling.
"You're welcome, Uncle Tony!" Lila says smiling.
Aww, she called me uncle Tony! I walk back to Clint smiling.
"Why do you look so happy?" Clint asks suspiciously.
"1 it's my wedding day! And 2, your daughter, Lila, just called me uncle Tony!" I say smirking.
"Well, you just dug yourself into a hole. Lila very much admires her Uncles and Aunts." He says.
"Oh don't worry. I plan on spoiling her rotten now." I say smirking. Clint rolls his eyes and I smile. "Do you have the rings?" I ask?
"Yes, I have the rings, Tony. I'm not that irresponsible." Clint says.
A few minutes later, all the guests are here and then the piano begins to play and Nat walks down the aisle with Nick giving her to me.
Nick POV:
The piano starts playing and I slowly walk Nat down the aisle. I remember when she first came into S.H.I.E.L.D., she was so fragile and broken and then over the years she grew to a beautiful, young woman.
I never thanked Clint for disobeying orders though, maybe I should do that later.
We arrive at the altar and I give her over to Tony. I lean in and whisper; "If you treat my daughter bad, no one will ever find the body." I feel him stiff and then I smile at Nat and go sit down.
I can tell both of them are nervous but they'll do just fine.
Nat POV:
Nick gives me to Tony and then I see Nick whisper something to Tony and he stiffens. I laugh at Nick in my mind and then the pastor starts.
"Dearly Beloved, we are gathered here today in the presence of these witnesses, to join Natasha Romanoff and Tony Stark in matrimony commended to be honorable among all; and therefore is not to be entered into lightly but reverently, passionately, lovingly and solemnly. Into this - these two persons present now come to be joined. If any person can show just cause why they may not be joined together - let them speak now or forever hold their peace."
Nobody objects and he continues.
""Who gives this woman to be wed?" The pastor asks. Nick stands up and then looks at me.
"I do, Director Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D., but to Natasha, her father." He says and sits back down. I smile at him and have tears in my eyes.
"Now you may read your vows." He says and Tony starts.
"I Tony Stark, take you Natasha Romanoff to be my wife, my partner in life and my one true love. I will cherish our union and love you more each day than I did the day before. I will trust you and respect you, laugh with you and cry with you, loving you faithfully through good times and bad, regardless of the obstacles we may face together. I give you my hand, my heart, and my love, from this day forward for as long as we both shall live." He says and then he looks up and smiles at me with tears in his eyes.
I start to read mine; "I, Natasha Romanoff, take you, Tony Stark, to be my husband, my friend, my faithful partner and my love from this day forward. In the presence of our family and friends, I offer you my solemn vow to be your faithful partner in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad, and in joy as well as in sorrow. I promise to love you unconditionally, to support you in your goals, to honor and respect you, to laugh with you and cry with you, and to cherish you for as long as we both shall live."
"Tony, do you take Natasha to be your forever wife?" The pastor asks.
"I do." He says.
"Natasha, do you take Tony to be your forever husband?" The pastor asks.
"I do." I say.
"Please, bring the rings forward and put them on each other." The pastor says.
Clint brings the rings and then Tony says; "I Tony give you Natasha this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you."
He puts the ring on my finger and its a silver ring with a black diamond.
Then I put the ring on his hand.
"I Natasha give you Tony this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you." I put his silver ring on his finger.
The pastor smiles then says; "By the power vested in me by the State of New York, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."
We kiss and then the pastor says; "I present to you Mr. and Mrs. Stark!"
Everyone stands up and claps and we go and celebrate.
Were sitting at the table and then I see a big burly man with a woman with black hair. And then I see a face I thought I would never see again. I go over to her just to make sure I'm not imagining and she turns around. "Yelena?!"
