Summary: Sort of Sequel to Holy Mavis. Natsu discovers that Zeref celebrates Mavis Day…

Pairings: Happy/Natsu friendship, brotherly Natsu/Zeref, Zeref/Mavis, and a little implied Natsu/Lucy.

The novelty of having a brother, evil free, still hadn't worn off for Natsu, and so the fifth time that week Natsu leaped out of bed and instead of rushing to the guild or barging into Lucy's apartment (or more accurately these days staying in Lucy's apartment and bugging her), Natsu dragged a whiney Happy to Zeref's new place in Magnolia.

"But Natsu!" Happy moaned. "I want to go to the guild and see Charle or stay with Lushy and eat all the fish or go fishing, I don't want to sit there while you and Zeref are being all awkward."

"We're not being awkward," Natsu frowned, "we just haven't found something in common to do together."

It was true, Zeref hated brawling, wrestling, tackling, and anything to do with actually doing something altogether and Natsu found history boring, didn't understand alchemy, and got too fidgety if they ended up sitting there for too long whether it was painting or reading or even fishing which he sort of liked (though he had little patience for that too). It was hard to find something they both liked.

"Yeah well," Happy huffed, "why do I have to come?"

"You don't have to," Natsu rolled his eyes, "you could stay home and help Lucy do the laundry or you could go to the guild, Mira said something about doing a Spring Clean and needing all the help scrubbing the toilets."

"On second thoughts visiting Zeref sounds lots of fun!" Happy said in false cheer. "Let's go and sit in silence while you and Zeref avoid talking about the past again!"

"That's the spirit, Happy!" Natsu cheered, oblivious to Happy's sarcasm. "Yosh! Let's go and make Zeref have fun!"

And with that Natsu sped down the street, knocked over a bin, broke down the front door to Zeref's building, charged up the stairs, and slammed Zeref's bedroom door open.

"RISE AND SHINE GLOOMY GUTS, TIME TO HAVE SOME FU-OH MY GOD!"

"Natsu!" Happy flew in after the Dragon Slayer. He crashed into the back of Natsu, who stood there frozen as he took in the sight before him with an expression of sheer horror. "What is it? What's wrong?" Happy asked worriedly as he rubbed his head. "Has Zeref turned evil again?"

Natsu said nothing as he shakily held up an arm and pointed at the sight before him.

Happy slowly peered round Natsu's legs, prepared to see the worse, Zeref on a throne made of bones while building a new demon army, or maybe Zeref in a pink dress (it would explain so much about Natsu and his fascination with Lucy's clothes), or something else equally terrifying.

Happy's jaw dropped.

It wasn't as awful as he thought but it was extremely traumatising.

"Do you mind?" Mavis snapped. "Some of us are in the middle of being worshipped here. Come back another time."

Happy blinked, repeatedly, and unfortunately the sight before him still remained. There, right in front of him, was Zeref shirtless in all of his pasty pale glory with Mavis laying her head on his lap wearing nothing but a thin white summer dress, her pale locks all over his lap as he was feeding her chocolates.

"What are you doing?!" Natsu squeaked.

"It's Mavis Day," Zeref said calmly, "I am sacrificing a hundred chocolates at the altar of Mavis in order to earn the right to shout her name out in bed later."

Natsu and Happy both blanched at that.

"I….I'll….come back…..later…." Natsu said slowly as he began to step out of the room. "When you're not…..busy."

"Yes," Zeref said solemnly, "you do that."

And on that note, Natsu quickly slammed the bedroom door shut and both he and Happy shuddered simultaneously.

"Gah!" Natsu bashed his head against the wall. "I'm going to have nightmares about this for months now."

"Same here," Happy shuddered again, "on the bright side though," he said slyly as he glanced up at Natsu. "You and Zeref finally have something in common."

"Huh?" Natsu paused in his repetitive attempt to beat the memory out of his head and blinked stupidly at Happy. "What's that?" he asked.

"You both like blondes."
