Summary: Inspired by some dialogue from Hotel Transylvania, a little drabble in which Lucy thinks Natsu is adorable.

Pairings: Natsu/Lucy, brief mention of Gray/Juvia, and lots of general friendship feels.

"Ara!" Mira sighed heavily. "I see that Natsu is having fun again."

It was late at night and half the guild were exhausted and quiet as they nursed their last drinks but not Natsu. Nope, Natsu was still life of the party as he did a victory dance on a table while waving Gray's boxers in the air.

(Gray himself was half unconscious and unable to get up as Juvia tried to heal him with her 'love'.)

"Fun is one way of putting it," Lucy snorted, "being annoying is another. He's driving me insane," she confessed and at that Mira glanced suspiciously in Cana's direction as the brunette tried to hide a bottle of vodka and looked innocent. Hmm….Mira had a feeling Lucy was being a little honest due to her drink being spiked….again. "I don't know if he's truly oblivious sometimes or he does it deliberately. He says so many stupid things, acts like a prat, is loud, and annoying, yet he's so aggravating because it's funny, and cute, and silly, and it makes me laugh. It's like are you an idiot or do you know you're adorable?"

"Oh my God!" Mira squealed excitedly. "You think Natsu is adorable!"

"What?" Lucy flushed bright pink. "No I don't!"

"Yes you do," Mira said in a sing-song voice, "you just said! You think Natsu is adorable!"

"No," Lucy shook her head rapidly, "I do-"

"You think I'm adorable?"

Lucy froze as Mira struggled to smother her giggles. Slowly, Lucy turned round to meet Natsu's great, big, smug, grin. "N-n-no!" Lucy stuttered. "I do not!"

"Yeah, you do," Natsu smirked, "you just said to Mira that you think I'm adorable."

"I did not!"

"Hey, Happy!" Natsu called out. "Lucy thinks I'm adorable!"

"Tee-hee!" Happy giggled. "I knew she liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiked you."

"God Lucy," Gray groaned against Juvia's lap, "whatever happened to your brain cells? I thought you had brains."

"NO I DON'T!" Lucy exploded towards Happy. "And I do have brains!" she scowled in Gray's direction. "There's nothing wrong with Natsu."

"Because I'm adorable!" Natsu said goofily. "Lucy thinks I'm adorable!" he sang obnoxiously. "Lucy thinks I'm adorable! Lucy thinks I'm adorable! Lucy thinks I'm adorable! Lucy thinks I'm adorable! Lucy thinks I'm adorable! Lucy thinks I'm adorable! Lucy thinks I'm-"

"I think!" Lucy growled as she took a swing at Natsu, much to her frustration he only caught her fist and pulled her in close. "That you're an idiot!" she finished in a hiss.

"Yeah," Natsu agreed as he nuzzled into her, "but I'm your adorable idiot."

Lucy gave up arguing and just hugged him at that point because, much to her everlasting annoyance, he was right.

He was her adorable idiot
