Day 3- Mistaken for a Friend AU: Ahsoka + Fives + Cody
Ahsoka stepped out of the shop and looked up and down the sidewalk for Fives. She knew he couldn't have gone far, and it seemed highly unlikely that he would have. Anakin didn't like her being by herself and Fives knew that.
She took a sip of her drink and took another couple steps forward, still looking. Then she saw him, standing and talking with someone. She supposed he'd run into a friend, which was fine, but he could have at least waited outside where she'd asked him to.
But really, Ahsoka wasn't going to complain. Besides, his back was towards her anyway, so she could sneak up on him as pay back. His screech would be priceless, and any embarrassment would be well worth it.
She broke into a light run, still being mindful of her cup in hand. She launched her self, and latched onto his back, arms around his neck and legs around his waist.
The man let out a curse and Ahsoka immediately realized this was not Fives.
Dropping to the ground, Ahsoka clasped a hand around her mouth. She had been sure it was Fives; the hair color and style were the exact same! And they were both wearing denim jackets. But when the man turned around to see who had the audacity to attack like that, Ahsoka knew for sure it was not Fives.
The telltale tattoo of a five wasn't there on his right temple, and intstead a large scar ran down the left side of his face.
"I'm so sorry!" Ahsoka began apologizing. "I'm so, so sorry, sir! I thought you were some one else!"
The man raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms. "So, it's normal for you to randomly jump on people in public then?" His friend stood behind him, clearly stifling a laugh.
Ahsoka felt her face flush. "Well…no not really, but I thought you were my friend. You see, you look remarkably alike! I'm so sorry!"
"You know," the man sighed, glaring at his friend -who was no longer bothering to try and hide any sign of amusement. "That seems to be something I get a lot. But no, I am not your friend. Where is he?"
Ahsoka continued to blush and shrugged. "I'm not sure. I went into the store by myself and told him to wait out here. That's why I figured you were him," she finished, shifting from one foot to another. "I am sorry."
The man shook his head. "No worries, kid. Apology accepted."
"Don't worry!" the man's friend chuckled. "He's not as scary as he looks."
Ahsoka laughed nervously and nodded. "Yeah…" she said slowly, playing with her hair.
"Hey!" someone shouted behind her. "There you are!"
Ahsoka turned to see Fives jogging up to them. "Hi!" she called back.
"Where've you been?" Fives asked trying to catch his breath.
"Here," Ahsoka shrugged. "You're the one who wondered off. I was in the store right there."
Fives glanced where she was pointing and sighed. "I guess I did get confused. Sorry about that." Fives scratched his. "These guys aren't bothering you, right?"
Ahsoka shook her head. "No, actually, more like I'm bothering them…"
The friend laughed again. "Yeah, but I think we're good now."
Ahsoka rolled her eyes when Fives gave her a questioning look. "I'll explain later, let's go." She turned her attention back to the two men. "Once again, I am really sorry."
The man with the scar laughed. "No worries! Seriously, kid. I'm not mad. My brother jumps on me all the time and that's a lot more strenuous. So, it's all good."
Ahsoka smiled. "Thank you!" She grabbed Fives' hand and waved to the men. "Bye!" She shouted back.
