Day 11- Scars Soulmate AU: Codywan
Cody stood in shock as he saw his newly assigned general in person. It was almost too real to believe. But sure enough, running down the left side of the man's otherwise flawless face, was a darker line, identical to the scar on Cody's face.
The plan to remove his helmet and introduce himself immediately faded away and he tried to think up a different idea.
Cody turned in the other direction and made his way to the nearest bathroom. He didn't care if he had his datapad in hand with mission details to look over with his general.
Panting, Cody yanked off his helmet and looked in the mirror, studying his scar more in depth than ever before. But, to the best of his memory, each line and curve matched perfectly.
Still not able to believe it, Cody grabbed his datapad and pulled up his general, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
He looked at the picture again and again.
Picture, mirror, picture, mirror.
He lost track of the number of times he examined the scar, tracing it on his own face and then on the picture of Kenobi's face.
But it was the same.
Mouth hanging open, Cody sank to the floor. There was no way it was possible. It couldn't be possible. How could he -a clone!- have a soulmate? And his general -a Jedi!- have a soulmate?
It didn't make sense to Cody; but the longer he stared at the image, the more convinced he became it must be the same scar.
But the very idea that a clone and Jedi would be soulmates seemed ridiculous! They were both forbidden from that type of thing. Right?
Cody stared blankly at the wall unsure of what to make of the ordeal. And how in the whole galaxy, he would manage to reveal his face to General Kenobi.
