Summary: When Natsu whines about the train again, the team offer a different form of transportation….

Pairings: Team Natsu friendship and a little implied Natsu/Lucy.

YouTube Prompt: Erza tribute to 'So What?' by Pink.

"Well done, team!" Erza beamed as she took in the sight of one burning building, a half destroyed road, and a few ruined gardens. "We have defeated the bandits and with minimal damage and will therefore get the full reward."

Everyone cheered, Natsu and Lucy high-fived one another, and Charle rolled her eyes. "If you were more careful all the time then you would get the full reward all the time," she muttered.

No one paid Charle any attention as they eagerly got their reward and the argued over everyone's shares (since Natsu had set the building on fire and Erza was the one that tore up the road both Lucy and Gray firmly believe they should have the bigger share of the reward) eventually with the money evenly split, they were ready to go home.

"We need to hurry!" Lucy said. "Train for Magnolia is due in ten minutes."

"Urgh!" Natsu groaned as he turned a faint green. "Do we have to take the train?" he moaned childishly. "It's a nice day out, we could just walk."

"Natsu, you moron," Gray said disgustedly, "we're on the other side of the country. If we walk it would take two weeks to get home."

"I like camping."

"You're the only one that does," Lucy replied shortly. "It's taking the train with us or walking alone."

"I wouldn't be alone!" Natsu protested. "You and Happy would walk with me, right Lucy? Right, Lucy?" Lucy's stony silence was enough to tell Natsu that he would definitely be walking alone. He immediately changed tactics and threw himself against her legs. Lucy squawked and flailed about (smacking Gray in the fact, which was epic in Natsu's books) as she tried to regain her balance. "Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase Lushy!" he begged. "Don't make me go on the train or walk alone."

"Natsu!" Lucy shrieked. "Get off of me!"

"There, there Natsu," Erza said calmly as she patted Natsu's back (though she did it so hard that Natsu squeaked from the agony of it), "I have an alternative means of transportation we can use."

"It's not your car is it?" Natsu asked nervously.

"No," Erza scowled, "my upholstery for that is still in the process of being washed as someone," she glared at Gray, "decided to spill their drink all over it."

"Well sorry," Gray muttered, "maybe you should learn to drive like a normal person instead of an insane, homicidal and suicidal, maniac."

Erza shot Gray a deadly look which caused Lucy and Wendy, very bravely, to step in between the two of them (because privately they agreed with Gray and didn't want him to be brutally murdered for making a valid point). "If it isn't your car, Erza-san," Wendy said sweetly, "then what is your alternative transportation?"

"Why," Erza said grandly as she dug into her space pocket, "this of course!"

There was a large beam of golden light that quickly transformed into a carriage-like shape only the roof was pushed down, it had no doors as it quickly became apparent that it was half of a carriage, and there was no horses at the two, long, wooden ends.

It was a Rickshaw.

A rather nice one with pink sakura blossoms painted all over it and the guild mark printed on either end.

"Oh no!" Natsu gagged instantly. "Horse and carriage is no good for me either."

"Do the world a favour and grow a brain cell or two, Ash-Brain," Gray rolled his eyes, "it's not a horse and carriage. It's a bloody Rickshaw."

"A what?"

"A Rickshaw," Lucy repeated more patiently, "it's a carriage driven by humans. Someone picks up those two ends and they run while dragging the carriage bit with them."

"Huh," Natsu blinked, "but I'll still be sick on it."

"Which is why you won't be sitting on it," Erza said as she primly sat down. Quickly, Lucy sat down beside her and was instantly sandwiched against the redhead as Gray forced himself on her other side. Wendy looked lost and fearful as there was no room for her by Erza immediately patted her lap and Wendy beamed as she skipped over to sit on her dorm mother's lap. Charle joined as Wendy's arm wrapped itself round her waist, and Happy snuggled into Lucy's lap. "You will be pulling it."

"That's not fair!" Natsu whined. "Why do I have to do all the work?"

"Because you're the one with the motion sickness that's causing the problem," Lucy said sternly, "you now have three choices, this, walk on your own, or take the train. Hurry up and choose! My rent is due in four days."

Natsu sighed, briefly wondering when his life started to revolve round Lucy's rent, and slowly picked up the wooden slabs that were on either side of the carriage. "All right," he mumbled, "I'll do it."

The rest of the team cheered.

"Go quickly, Natsu," Erza ordered, "we don't want Lucy to miss another rent payment."

"Yosh!" Natsu pounded a fist in the air. "Here goes nothing."

And with that, he zoomed across the town in full speed. With all his strength, speed, and stamina that his Dragon Slayer powers had gifted him, Natsu was able to drag the Rickshaw at a super, impossible, speed that left burn marks behind, people jumping out of the way screaming, and all of his team members to cling to one another as they screamed and cried in terror.

Natsu laughed like a maniac for those few hours.

But then he eventually got tired, the others definitely needed a break, and they stopped for a picnic (in which Lucy and Wendy staggered across the field in dizzy circles, Erza laid on the ground swearing revenge on Natsu, Charle and Happy decided to fly for the rest of the journey, and Gray puked in a bush) after they were all refreshed, Natsu still felt a bit tired, and they decided to go at a more steady pace.

After all, they already cut their journey by over a week as Natsu made it halfway across the country.

But then after a few more hours of this, in which he had to grit his teeth as he heard all of his friends have fun without him (Lucy was definitely telling a funny story but he couldn't hear because Gray and Erza kept laughing too loudly!), Natsu got more and more fed up and began to move slower.

"Jesus Christ, Natsu!" Gray snapped. "Snails can move faster than this."

"Yes," Erza agreed, "this is pathetically slow. You need to go faster Natsu."

"Go faster Natsu!" Wendy pleaded.

"I'm bored," Natsu whined, "one of you take over instead."

"Natsu, we can't," Lucy rolled her eyes, "you'll be sick instantly and it would beat the objective of using this thing in the first place."

"But it's no fun anymore!" Natsu complained. "You're all having fun back there and I've got nothing to do but hear you having fun without me." He dropped the slabs sending the carriage flying backwards with a thump as Lucy squealed, Gray squawked, and Erza calmly caught Wendy before she rolled out completely. "I've lost all motivation to do this now!" Natsu declared as he crossed his arms.

"Oh," Erza said dangerously, "its motivation you need? I can give you motivation….Lucy!" she barked. "The whip!"

"Wait, Wha-"

CRACK!

Natsu barely dodged Lucy's whip as it snapped the ground dangerously and flew back into Lucy's hand. "You keep working," Erza said darkly, "or I'll have Lucy whip you each time you try and drop us."

"A-A-Aye!"

For the next hour Natsu was able to keep up a steady pace dragging the blasted thing with his so called friends in it but eventually he became a panting mess gasping for a glass of water and something to eat.

"Lucy," Gray drawled, "the whip."

CRACK!

Natsu squeaked as this time Lucy managed to smack his ankles with her whip. It felt a lot like being stung by a load of bees all at the same time. "I'm moving! I'm moving!" he hollered as he quickly hauled the Rickshaw faster.

His legs ached, his throat was dry and sore and in desperate need of a drink, for the first time in months he was sweating - and sweating badly, his waistcoat was drenched – and his arms were beginning to get sore as well.

He felt as if his limbs were made of lead and the ground was beginning to look inviting.

"Lucy," Happy shouted, his voice filled with mischief, "Natsu is slowly down again."

CRACK!

"I'm moving! I'm moving!" Natsu shouted as he sped up. He almost sighed in relief when he saw a sign post for a town that wasn't too far from Magnolia. He would be home in no time in which he could definitely dump his team in the canal for revenge and burn the blasted Rickshaw into ash, never to be used again….

CRACK!

"This is hell, I was wrong," Natsu muttered darkly, "in future I'll just stick to the train and vomit all over them, screw the consequences!"
