Day 20- Rival Teachers AU: Obi-Wan + Satine
Obi-Wan settled back in his seat and took a sip of his tea.
The computers were set up. The big screen was set up. All the assignments due at the end of the week were available and on the board. Things were good.
And he had five minutes before the first bell rang.
Obi-Wan closed his eyes, hoping he could get his mind in an even more peaceful state, when someone knocked on his door.
With his sigh, he roused himself and looked up to see Satine standing in the doorway. At least she had the decency to announce her self nonverbally.
"Miss Kryze," Obi-Wan smiled. "How good it is to see you this morning! May I help you?"
"Well," she said, waltzing across the room to him. "You could share your test and answer key with me. It would be helpful if I didn't have to make my own."
Obi quirked an eyebrow and she quickly added, "I would give you credit of course! We preach to the students all the time about not plagiarizing. Do you take me for a hypocrite, Mr. Kenobi?"
"No," the man said shaking his head. "But last I checked I was ahead of you in the curriculum, so, do you need the test yet?"
She turned her nose up. "I'll need it at some point, Obi-Wan." She then looked at the board and frowned.
"It's does seem your still ahead, aren't you?" Satine sighed. "I'm sure I'll be able to catch up."
The bell rang and Obi-Wan smiled. "Best not keep the children waiting then if you need to catch up."
She rolled her eyes and marched out of the room.
"Just don't go off on any tangents, and you'll be alright!" he shouted after her.
"The same goes for you!" she yelled right back.
Obi-Wan chuckled.
The rest of the year would be immensely enjoyable.
