Chapter 1: Two New Students

(Midoriya's P.O.V.)
"Okay class, as you know…" Mr. Aizawa announced while holding papers in his hands "We have two new students joining us today"
"Wait, two new students. For the class 1-A? There's no way that two losers got into this class without going through on the first day like we did" Bakugou said with his feet on his desk.
"Not only did they enter through Recommendations, but due to… Special circumstances, they were given their physical examinations at different date times with passing time for both" he explains as he goes to the door and slides it open "You both may come in now"
"Hi everyone! My name's Tani and it's nice to meet you all!" A bubbly hyped up girl with slightly neck length brown hair comes in doing a cartwheel "My quirk is called Feline and basically what that means is that I can turn into any felines. Granted it's cool, but once I turn back into my human form, I get stuck with hairballs"
"Can you turn both at once like a Neko?" Tsu asks curiously.
"Does this answer your question?" Tani says as she closes her eyes as a tail pops out of nowhere and her cat ears pop.
"So cute!" All the girls say all at once.
As I excitedly wrote down her quirk and information on a new page, I noticed the other student was still outside.
"Aren't you going to introduce yourself?" Mr. Aizawa asked impatiently.
"Well, she's still talking, isn't she?" I heard the voice say slightly uninterested.
"Oh nope! I'm done here! Go ahead!" Tani said as she took a seat at the midsection of the class.
The other girl comes in looking a bit annoyed wearing a black sweater and I noticed that something shifting on her shoulder. Another thing I noticed was that her bangs was covering her eyes to the point that you couldn't see them.
"Hi, name's Emma Toskino. I would say "nice to meet you all", but I don't know anyone at all. So, I guess I shouldn't really bother saying that. My quirk is really none of your business-"
"Attitude missy…" Aizawa warned as she rolled her eyes.
"Fine… I can move objects with my mind" she says as she waves her hand and picks up Mr. Aizawa's desk "However, if I'm overdoing it, my nose begins to bleed"
"Aren't you forgetting something?" Mr. Aizawa says as he pushes his desk down and she suddenly floats.
"Oh yeah" she takes out something from her hair "This is my comrade Tomiko. Though, I have to call him an Emotional Support Weasel"
"Oh! He's so adorable! Can I touch him?!" Uraraka exclaims as her eyes shine.
"Don't ask me…" Emma explains as I stop writing down her quirk "… Ask him"
"There will be no Pet petting at this moment-" Aizawa was cut off when Tomiko growled at him "I mean… Petting Tomiko at this moment. Take your seats"
She ends up taking a seat all the way in the back corner and takes out a notebook that looked similar to mine.
Maybe she doesn't like socializing… I think to myself as I see Tomiko curling up and resting.
At about lunchtime, I see her sitting by herself at a table as Tani is happily eating her lunch with the rest of us.
"What's a weirdo like her even doing in our class? Look at her" Kachan says loudly as I see Tomiko glare.
"Kachan! Don't say those things, she might hear you and maybe she's just shy. It's probably why she has that weasel in the first place" I say quietly as the others join in.
"Yeah Kachan, be nice will ya?" Tani says "She's not usually like this, but… She wasn't always like that"
"What do you mean, Tani?" Momo asks.
"I don't know… One day, she was a happy person, but then… She just changed…" she explains as we watch Emma pick up her things and leave.
"You were friends with her?" I asked.
"More or less, but we always did along most of the time" she says.
"Telekinesis is a strong quirk, it's so interesting seeing one up close" I say while softly smiling.
"Yeah… It is" Tani smiles back, but it fades as she sees Emma gone.
(Emma's P.O.V.)
"That was super annoying…" I sigh as I enter the restroom and lock it, so that no one comes in.
"Tell me about it…" Tomiko says as he comes out of my bag "That Bakugou character is really… Irritating"
"Tell me about it…" I say as I remove my sweater "I hate how they don't have a lot of long sleeve uniform shirts"
"I know…" he jumps onto the sink counter and rubs his head on one of my pink scars on my arm "… But hey, not all of them seem bad-"
"It's better that they don't see this at all… Remember that you said that last time…" I look at my reflection of my hideous scarred body. Pink, sometimes my skin color and some hidden under my clothes… Unless I wore a swimsuit.
"But they seem different, I can feel it-" I crack the mirror in front of me.
"Oops, I guess I should fix that…" I say dully.
"I-I'm sorry…" he says.
"No need to say sorry…" I pick him up and hold him close to my face "… You're the only friend I need" I say as I use my quirk to fix the mirror "It's a good thing that they don't know my real quirk"
