Chapter 15: Battle Aboard The Egg Carrier
On the foot of Bubble Mountain, Klonoa, Hero 8, Simon, and Lloyd are looking at the top of the mountain.
Hero 8: What's going on?
Simon: We got trouble!
Rocks are falling towards them and so are Bub & Bob.
Bub: Watch out below!
Lloyd: Get down!
Klonoa and Lloyd moves out of the way, as Bub & Bob lands on their feet in front of them.
Simon: Bub & Bob! Are you OK?
Bub: We're fine.
Bob looks down at the hole.
Bob: Uh-oh!
From the Egg Carrier, alot of Shadow Bugs fell onto the ground and an army of Heartless appeared.
Lloyd: Just how many of them are there?
Hero 8 uses his magic to count the Heartless army.
Hero 8: It's over 9000!
Klonoa: What? 9000?
Simon: Then we have to be careful!
Klonoa pulls out his Chaos Emerald and he, Hero 8, Simon, Lloyd, and Bub & Bob uses it to increase their powers. Suddenly, they got surrounded by the Heartless army.
Klonoa: It's no good! There are just too many!
?: Not likely! Now the cavalry has arrived!
Hero 8: That voice...That must be...
The gang looks up at the cliff and saw some familiar sights. Sonic, Cloud, Megaman, Sora, and Bomberman has arrived.
Klonoa: Sonic! Megaman! Bomberman!
Simon: Cloud! Sora!
Sonic and his gang jumps down the cliff to join the fight.
Sonic: Sorry we're late. Mind if we jump in?
Lloyd: By all means, help yourself.
Sonic pulls out his Chaos Emerald and he, Cloud, Megaman, Sora, and Bomberman uses it to increase their powers. The heroes worked together to defeat the Heartless army. Bub & Bob fires their Star Bubbles to take out the Shadow Heartless, while Bomberman threw his Red Bombs at the Soldier Heartless. Klonoa uses Thunder Hurricane on the Air Soldiers, while Megaman uses Tornado Blow to summon many tornadoes across the screen to blow away the Wyverns. Hero 8 uses Kaboom on the Mega Shadows, while Sora uses Ragnarok to fire multiple red energy spheres at the Heat Sabers. Simon uses Grand Cross on the Air Pirates, while Sonic uses Lightspeed Attack on the Red Nocturnes and Wyverns. Lloyd and Cloud uses Falcon Crest and Finishing Touch on the Mega Shadows and Angel Star. They took out all the Heartless. Sonic's group rejoined with Klonoa's group.
Bub: Glad you all could make it.
Megaman: We got here as soon as we can.
Sonic: Klonoa, I noticed that you have a Chaos Emerald.
Klonoa: Yeah. Me and Hero 8 found it back at Gallopolis Ruins.
Cloud: Well, I found my Chaos Emerald in the Sleeping Forest.
Cloud pulls out his Chaos Emerald and shows it to Klonoa's group.
Lloyd: Cool! So that makes three for us all.
Klonoa: Anyway, do you guys know where Pac-Man is?
Sonic: What happened to Pac-Man?
Klonoa: He tried to save me from Dracula.
Bomberman: He might still be at Wily's Castle, but now it's covered in Subspace.
Sora: Don't worry. Before we find Pac-Man, we must stop Eggman and Sephiroth.
Megaman: Where's Zero?
Hero 8: He's gone off with Ryu Hayabusa. They must be on the Egg Carrier, trying to capture it.
Cloud: Right. All we have to do is wait until they do. Hang in there, Tifa.
Sonic: Just hold on, Amy.
The gang watches the damaged UNSC Frigate flying away and the Egg Carrier leaving again. Inside the battleship, the box was seen moving and then taken off. Out of the box is a woman with short brown hair, wearing a blue jumpsuit with black sleeves, black gloves, and black boots. She is Joanna Dark, the heroine of Perfect Dark.
Joanna: So this is the Egg Carrier, huh? Well, I heard that Amy Rose and Tifa Lockhart are here and needed to be rescued. Well, it's showtime.
She ran down the hallway, fighting Heartless like the Shadow Heartless, Bouncywilds, and Luna Bandits. She uses her Combat Knife to slash at the Heartless and her twin Falcon 2 Pistols to shoot at them, taking them out. She continues running down the hallway until she hears something.
Joanna: Wait! I can hear something coming.
She hid in her box again. At that point, Zero and Ryu came running past her. But Ryu walks back and spots the box.
Ryu: I sense someone in there.
He closed his eyes and sensed Joanna in the box.
Ryu: I knew it. There is someone in there.
He picks it up and Joanna realizes it and leaps out. Zero saw her too.
Zero: Intruder! Who are you?
Joanna was about to reply until Ryu stops her. He senses the Heartless arriving.
Ryu: Wait! There are some Heartless coming this way.
Joanna: Guess we can talk about it later.
Zero, Ryu, and Joanna fought off the Heartless like the Shadow Heartless and Bouncywilds. Joanna uses her twin CMP-150 Submachine Guns to rapid fire at the Heartless, taking them out. The gang made their way to the central hallway with a metal door on the floor.
Zero: We must be in the central hallway of the battleship. There is a metal door in the floor here.
Ryu: We may need to activate a button to unlock it. There are three hallways here.
Joanna: Then we'll have to split up. I'll take the southeast hallway.
Zero: Then I'll take the northeast hallway.
Ryu: And I'll take the southwest hallway.
The gang splits up and went into three different hallways. Zero went up the northeast hallway, where there are Darkballs and Wyverns coming out of a Dark Portal. He uses Mikazukizan to take out the Heartless and the portal, revealing a button. He pressed the button and the alarm went on.
Zero: That's one door down. Time to head back to the main hall.
He left the northeast hallway. Meanwhile, Ryu went down the southwest hallway, where there are Bouncywilds and Popcats coming out of a Dark Portal. He uses Art of the Inazuma to summon lightning to zap the Heartless and the portal, taking them out, and revealing a button. He pressed the button and the alarm went on.
Ryu: That's another door down. I should head back to the main hall.
He left the southwest hallway. Meanwhile, Joanna went down the southeast hallway, where there are Cannon Guns and Grand Ghosts coming out of the Dark Portal. She uses her Super Dragon Machine Gun to rapid fire at the Heartless, taking them out. She then uses it's Grenade Launcher to fire grenades at the Dark Portal, destroying it, and revealing a button. She pressed the button and the alarm went on.
Joanna: That's the last door down. Let's head back to the main hall.
She left the southeast hallway. The whole gang reunites in the central hallway and saw that the door on the floor was opened.
Zero: The door is opened. Now let's go down there to the next room.
The gang went down the door and climb down the ladder. They went through the door in the room and found themselves on a huge platform with five floating platforms, where they got ambushed by more Luna Bandits, Invisibles, and Devastators. Ryu uses Art of the Wind Blades to summon blades of wind to slash the Luna Bandits and Invisibles, while Joanna uses her Shotgun to fire Double Shots at the Devastators. They took out the Heartless and proceed to the next hallway, where it is dark.
Joanna: It is dark in here. I better use my Night Vision Goggles.
Joanna puts on her Night Vision Goggles and uses it to locate a button. She pressed it and the lights went back on, revealing more Bouncywilds, Hook Bats, and Magnum Loaders. Zero uses Denjin on the Hook Bats, Ryu uses Art of the Ice Storm to create a blizzard to freeze the Magnum Loaders, while Joanna uses her Arm Laser to shoot lasers at the Bouncywilds. They took out the Heartless and proceed to the next hallway. They saw a ladder and a Minute Bomb in front of a blue metal door. Ryu slashes the Minute Bomb, taking it out, and activating the alarm, opening the blue door to reveal another blue door.
Ryu: That door just opened to reveal another door.
Joanna: Maybe if we take out all the enemies, all the doors will open.
The gang climbs up the ladder and found a Shadow Heartless. Zero uses Hayate to take out the Heartless, activating the alarm. The gang ran down the room with two ladders and a Cannon Gun. Joanna uses her Phoenix Pistol to fire an Explosive Shell at the Cannon Gun, taking it out, and activating the alarm again. The gang climbs down the lower ladder and found a Clay Armor. Zero uses Rakukojin to take out the Clay Armor, activating the alarm again. The gang went down the hallway, climb up a ladder, and found a Mechanitaur. Ryu uses Art of the Piercing Void to summon a black hole to suck the Mechanitaur in, taking it out, and activating the alarm again. The gang ran all the way back to the ladder room and climb up the upper ladder, where they found a sleeping Hot Rod. Joanna threw her Proximity Mine in front of the Hot Rod. When the Heartless woke up and charges at the gang, the mine explodes on it, taking it out, and activating the alarm again.
Zero: I think that's the last one. Let's head back to the hallway with the blue doors.
The gang made it all the way back to the blue door hallway and saw that the blue doors are open. As they approached the huge metal door, Zero and Ryu hears Joanna's story.
Zero: So you're saying that both Amy and Tifa are in there?
Joanna: Yes, and I'd hate to see the looks of Sonic and Cloud's faces when they found out that their loved ones are trophies.
Ryu: How do you know about Sonic and Cloud?
Joanna: I was sent to go on this mission. I heard that Sonic and Cloud are both famous. Let's get this over with.
They opened the door to see the trophies of Amy and Tifa in cages.
Zero: There's the trophies of Amy and Tifa.
Suddenly, the Shadow Bugs appeared, covered both trophies, landed on the ground, and formed into the Dark Amy and Dark Tifa.
Joanna: Zero, Ryu, we gotta work together to take out those clones and free Amy and Tifa!
The gang charges at Dark Amy and Dark Tifa. Joanna uses her Rocket Launcher to fire Homing Rockets at Dark Amy and Dark Tifa, doing alot of damage to them. Dark Amy uses Pink Typhoon on the gang, while Dark Tifa uses Beat Rush to deliver rapid punches at the gang, but they easily dodged their attacks. Ryu uses Art of the Hurricane to summon a tornado to swallow up Dark Amy and Dark Tifa, doing alot of damage to them. Dark Amy uses Hammer Spin Attack on the gang, while Dark Tifa uses Firaga and Blizzaga to summon fireballs and ice balls from her fists, but the gang still dodges their attacks. Zero uses Earth Gaizer to punch the ground to summon flame pillars on Dark Amy and Dark Tifa, knocking them out, and disintegrating them. The gang then breaks the cages and frees Amy and Tifa. The girls got up.
Tifa: What happened?
Amy: Tifa, are you alright?
Tifa: I'm fine, Amy.
Amy: Where are we?
Joanna: I'll explain everything later, but we need to find the control room. Me, Zero, and Ryu will help me take control of the battleship. Amy and Tifa, you stay here and don't leave the room.
Tifa: Why not?
Zero: We'll be back.
Zero, Ryu, and Joanna ran out of the room, leaving the confused Amy and Tifa behind.
That's it for chapter 15. Next time, Amy and Tifa will try to escape the Egg Carrier and the gang will have a battle with the Volcanic & Blizzard Lords.
