Chapter 16: Capturing The Egg Carrier
Inside the Egg Carrier's prison room, Amy and Tifa were waiting around.
Tifa: So what is going on? The last thing I remembered is Dracula shooting an arrow at me.
Amy: You have been kidnapped. Me and Megaman tried to save you, but I got captured too.
Amy looks around the ship and saw a crystal ball nearby.
Amy: Let's take a look at the crystal ball. Maybe I can tell you what happened when Dracula kidnapped you.
She grabs the crystal ball and the girls looked through and saw Dracula being tricked by Wily taking Tifa, Pac-Man, and Crash away.
Tifa: So now Wily captured me after Dracula turned me into a trophy?
Amy: Yes, and if I remembered well, Eggman appeared behind me and turned me into one. Oh! Sonic! I gotta see if he's alright!
They looked into the crystal ball again. They saw a desert area. In there are Klonoa, Hero 8, Simon, Lloyd, Bub & Bob, Megaman, Sora, Bomberman, and...
Amy: Sonic!
Tifa: Cloud!
The girls were overjoyed, seeing their loved ones are still alive. They saw Sonic and Cloud talking together.
Amy: Thank goodness! Sonic is still alive! I am so worried about him!
Tifa: Cloud is with them too! We gotta see them!
Amy: But we were told not to leave the room.
Tifa: Don't worry. I know a plan.
She opens the door.
Tifa: Come on.
Amy nods and follows Tifa out. They came to an opening in the door and jump to the outside of the battleship with several platforms along the way. They jumped on the platforms and made it to the other side of the battleship. They went through the door, where they encountered some Popcats, Bouncywilds, and White Mushrooms. Tifa uses Beat Rush on the Popcats, while Amy uses Pink Typhoon on the Bouncywilds and White Mushrooms. They took out the Heartless and proceed to the next area, where there are Quark Mines and some platforms.
Amy: There are some mines here. How are we gonna get past them?
Tifa: Let me take care of them.
Tifa uses Firaga on the Quark Mines, making them explode safely, then the girls jumped over the platforms to the other side. They then press a button on the ceiling to open up a wall, allowing them to get to the door to get to the next room. The next room looks like a lab with several Heartless inside tubes.
Amy: What kinda lab is that? I can see many Heartless here.
Tifa: Maybe they use this lab to create their army. Let's go on ahead.
The girls went through the lab and made their way to the next room with a big platform with four floating platforms. Suddenly, they got ambushed by more Shadow Heartless and Bouncywilds. Amy uses Hammer Spin Attack on the Shadow Heartless, while Tifa uses Somersault to do backflip kicks on the Bouncywilds. After the Heartless were taken out, some Air Pirates and a Defender appears. Tifa uses Dolphin Blow to uppercut the Air Pirates with dolphin-like aura, while Amy uses Storming Hearts on the Defender. They took out the Heartless and proceed to the next area, where they encountered more Popcats, Air Soldiers, and another Defender. Amy uses Pink Typhoon on the Popcats and Air Soldiers, while Tifa uses Meteodrive to pick up the Defender over her head and slams it to the ground, creating an explosion. They took out the Heartless and proceed to the next room, where there are fire jets as well as more Popcats and Hook Bats.
Amy: Look out! There are more Heartless and fire jets!
Tifa: Let's take out the Heartless and get outta here!
Tifa uses Waterkick to do water sweep kicks on the Popcats, while Amy uses Pink Typhoon on the Hook Bats. They took out the Heartless and made their way through the fire jet room. The next room has a door and the floor and ceiling closing in.
Amy: The floor and ceiling are closing in! Let's hurry and get in that door!
The girls quickly made their way to the door and enters it before the floor and ceiling closes in. They made it to the outside again with some more platforms ahead. They jumped on the platforms and made their way to the top. While they were on the deck, a battle between Master Chief's Longsword Interceptor and the Egg Carrier was about to happen. The battleship fires it's lasers at the starfighter. Amy did not pay attention as an explosion just missed her from behind. Tifa just watches.
Tifa: Amy, be careful!
One cannon bullet hits the Longsword Interceptor on the wing. Master Chief held onto his joystick.
Master Chief: Just get a hold on!
The battleship fires a green energy beam at the Longsword Interceptor, but it missed the starfighter. Master Chief saw a huge cannon on the screen.
Master Chief: That's it! If I shoot the cannon, it would be stopped!
He did not see Amy near it. He starts firing it and the explosion almost caught Amy in it.
Amy: That was close!
Tifa: Alright! That does it!
Tifa leaps high in the air and lands onto the Longsword Interceptor.
Master Chief: What the...?
He watches Tifa punch the hatch, breaking it. The Longsword Interceptor went out of control, but Tifa and Master Chief lands onto the Egg Carrier.
Master Chief: Hey! That cost me alot of money!
Tifa: You almost hurt my friend!
They charged at each other. Master Chief does a kick, but Tifa blocks it with her arm.
Amy: Wait!
Tifa and Master Chief stares at her.
Amy: Relax. We're not enemies. How about some tea?
She held up a cup of tea.
Master Chief: You gotta be kidding.
He then notices Tifa also having one.
Master Chief: Fine.
He took the cup and drinks it. Meanwhile, Zero, Ryu, and Joanna reached the bridge. What Zero saw surprised him. He saw a black pharaoh-like robot piloting the battleship.
Zero: Is that Bass?
Ryu: Yeah. Funny how a robot like him can pilot the Egg Carrier.
Joanna: Well, whatever he's doing, he's getting out!
Joanna charges at Bass and punches him out the window. Amy, Tifa, and Master Chief watches in surprise as Bass lands before them.
Amy: Is that Bass? What is he doing here?
Suddenly, Bass was covered in Shadow Bugs.
Tifa: Oh no! This doesn't look good!
Bass has transformed into two large round Heartless. One Heartless is orange, while the other Heartless is light blue. They are the Volcanic Lord and Blizzard Lord. Ryu and Joanna looks out.
Ryu: That's not a good idea, Joanna! We gotta help those girls!
Ryu and Joanna leaps down to join Amy, Tifa, and Master Chief.
Joanna: I thought I told you two to stay down below!
Amy: Sorry, but we wanna help too.
Then the Vic Viper flew by and Bill drops down.
Bill: Why is it every time that I have to save you, Master Chief?
Master Chief: Now's not time for jokes, Bill!
The gang attacks the Volcanic and Blizzard Lords. Amy uses Hammer Spin Attack on the Volcanic and Blizzard Lords, while Tifa uses Meteor Strike to grab the two Heartless, jump really high, and throw them down to the ground, creating an explosion. Both attacks did alot of damage to the Heartless. The Volcanic Lord breathes fire at Amy, while the Blizzard Lord breathes ice at Tifa, doing alot of damage to the two girls. Ryu uses Spinning Windmill Slash on the Volcanic and Blizzard Lords, while Joanna fires her Rocket Launcher at the two Heartless. Both attacks did alot more damage to the Heartless. The Volcanic and Blizzard Lords bounced around the battlefield, creating pools of fire and ice around the place. The pools did some damage to Ryu and Joanna. Master Chief fires his M41 Rocket Launcher at the Volcanic and Blizzard Lords, while Bill uses his Laser Gun to fire lasers at the two Heartless. Both attacks did alot more damage to the Heartless. The Volcanic Lord shoots many fireballs from it's staff at Master Chief, while the Blizzard Lord shoots many ice balls from it's staff at Bill, doing alot of damage to them.
Amy: Those two Heartless are too powerful for us!
Master Chief: Then we'll have to use our most powerful attacks!
Amy uses Storming Hearts on the Volcanic and Blizzard Lords, while Tifa equips her Premium Heart and uses Final Heaven to charge her fist with energy and delivers a powerful punch on the two Heartless, creating a massive explosion. Ryu uses Art of the True Inferno to summon a flaming dragon to attack the Volcanic and Blizzard Lords, while Joanna calls down her helicopter, climbs on the rope ladder, and fires her Devastator Grenade Launcher at the two Heartless. Master Chief fires his M6 Spartan Laser at the Volcanic and Blizzard Lords, while Bill uses his Hyper Bomb to create a massive explosion. All of the attacks did alot of damage to the Volcanic and Blizzard Lords. The two Heartless then disintegrates into Shadow Bugs, leaving a Bass trophy. Master Chief held up his MA5C Assault Rifle.
Master Chief: I better take care of him before-
Amy: Wait a minute, Master Chief!
She walks past him towards the trophy and revives Bass. Bass looks around very confused.
Bass: Huh? Where am I? Why am I here?
Amy: See? He didn't know he was under mind control. Here, Bass.
She hands him her Piko Piko Hammer.
Bass: Why are you so nice to me?
Amy: Because I know you're not the evil type.
Zero walks up to the control board and saw a red Chaos Emerald on it.
Zero: A Chaos Emerald. Maybe we can use it for later.
He picks up the Chaos Emerald and takes control of the Egg Carrier.
Zero: Hey! Where do you want me to go?
Tifa: Zero, take us to the desert! Sonic and Cloud might be there!
Zero: OK, madam!
He steers the Egg Carrier towards the desert area, where the red clouds disappeared and the blue sky appeared.
Amy: I can't wait to see Sonic again.
Tifa: Me too. Hold on, Cloud. We're coming.
