"Groan" Maddie sighs and shakes her head. Jack is scratching his head seeing Vlad sent them some documents and pictures as both parents stare at their portal with a groan. As Maddie looks up seeing the city decline their permit to change wiring from the street into the home.

"This will delay us for months to a year or so. There goes us activating the portal this year, Danny will be upset" Jack sighs shaking his head. Wondering why the Masons all of the sudden is sticking their nose into their business. When Sidney made his appearance and students telling their parents on what Danny did. But when Melder and Skolly came to pick up Danny from school. It made many people in town wonder who the Fentons really are. Are they working with the government researching something in Amity Park.

Or something else.

"I know. But we can't give up hope we do have some help from one member of the city council" Maddie nods her head while Jack smiles. Brandon ran a campaign against a long time councilman in Amity Park. Granted Many people know who Brandon is but not to fond of his particular taste of style. But many residents sees how much time and effort he puts in Amity Park along with his wife.

The donations the business they bring from other states also his largest club that he opened recently. He has musicians and bands across the state even other states coming to Amity Park to play. Bringing more business to the area and town.

"Never and besides something will turn up. I heard rumors of Axion changing their name to Vladco and Vlad donating money to animal shelters in the area" wondering what is going on. Jack checks the wiring while Maddie nods hear head. As Maddie looks at the Calendar seeing another week September is around the corner. "Wonder how Danny is doing?" said Jack out loud.

"Safe and careful" Maddie nods her head but soon Danny's work bench that hasn't been touch since he left a picture frame fell startling the parents. Jack and Maddie walks to Danny's desk and picks up the picture frame falling face first.

"That was strange?" said Jack.

Maddie nods thinking the same thing. Staring at the picture seeing it's Danny and Emberlynn when they are six years old playing the guitar together. Maddie feels a knot in her stomach.

Nasty Burger

Sam, Tucker and Mikey are all laughing. Walking out of the nasty burger "So High school in a few short weeks" smile Tucker.

Mikey nods fixing his glasses.

Sam rolls her eyes nodding.

"Wonder how the school year will be?" ask Tucker.

Sam grins "I have a few ideas and changes I want to make to Casper high". Wanting to make some changes and to leave her mark in Casper high. Sam decided on a few things first in Freshmen year and once a Sophomore start making the changes.

Mikey groans "Can't you just leave it alone Sam. Starting with Rebecca before the school year starts isn't smart". Shuttering thinking what she will do to them, Mikey wonders why Sam is always trying to fix everything. He heard what Rebecca wants to do and seems fine with it.

Tucker nods agreeing with Mikey. Wondering why Sam drags them both they are just happy hanging out with her and having fun not stirring the pot with other students before the school year start.

Sam rolls her eyes "Well if Danny would-". Sam blinks wondering why both boys are groaning at her. "What? Look he's lonely and I think his parents research is cool and we all seen the ghost in fourth grade. Even though some parents deny it" Sam folds her arms. Seeing her parents told her to stay away from Danny and his crazy parents.

"Yea I don't know maybe it was some kind of device. Hologram or something advance like from Vladco they did buy Axion labs" shrug Mikey.

Tucker blinks and shakes his head to Mikey he saw the ghost floating."Nah that was a real ghost" nod Tucker.

Mikey didn't want to admit that he saw the ghost because if he admitted it. He would admit he's jealous of Danny because on that day when he fought Casper High most famous geek that was bullied. How many students see Danny as a genius who plays two instruments and invents. Mikey gets jealous that Danny gets allot of attention from teachers, staff and students from all different grades when he is considered to be one of the smartest in their grade as well.

"What ever school starts in two weeks and Danny should be coming back" Sam folds her arms while Tucker shakes his head making her confuse. Turning to Mikey nodding his head as well.

"Danny as far I can remember only starts school in the second or third week of September. He goes to Canada every year don't know why?" said Tucker. Turning to Mikey who nods and pulls out his phone with dates on it showing when Danny starts ever school year.

"Really? What's in Canada?" Sam wonders Tucker shrugs his shoulders while Mikey looks up.

"I think a birthday of some sort. I remember him talking to Kwan seeing he knows a town up in Canada where he has family" shrug Mikey. Sam raises an eye but Tucker snaps his fingers thinking back of an incident in sixth grade making Sam wince.

"Oh yea that girl he knows his best friend" said Tucker. Both boys turns to Sam snorting and glaring at the two making them glance each other wondering what did they do wrong. Seeing her narrow look, Mikey lets out a nervous gulp.

"Makes no sense how they can be best friends being so far apart" huff Sam.

Tucker rolls his eyes it's no secret that Sam wanted to know who this girl is. Seeing that Paulina, Star, Tiffany and Valerie once try to get information from Danny who chuckled at them trying hard to get any info from them. Sam learned that Danny has no real connection to any if not most of his peers in Casper high it's like he's a Phantom just passing by them.

"Well look at us three" smile Mikey. Tucker and Sam turn to him "How many people wonder how can a tech geek and geek nerd like myself hangs out with Sam. Or why Sam hangs out with us?". Sam rolls her eyes at Mikey while Tucker nods thinking about that long time ago.

"Because you two seem interesting and Danny is interesting. I think us four will have a great time hanging out" smile Sam. Nodding her head she sees Mikey shrug his shoulders but Tucker rolls his eyes.

"Ok" said Mikey.

"What ever" reply Tucker.

Adams Ranch Spittoon, Arkansas

Mid August end of the week Saturday

Ever since that night mare weeks ago. Danny's attitude change and the males adults who served noticed it. Alicia just thinks he is going through a phase like all teenage boys but Adam and Tom shakes their heads. When Danny arrives at Adam's ranch he jogs the five miles and starts getting to work. It's been like this for over three weeks going to the fourth week. One late afternoon Adam said he needed to get work done on the field seeing the past few days Danny attitude change to more serious. Alicia decided to let him stay until September much to Tom and Adam relief.

But when Danny arrived one morning to Adam's ranch the town's mechanic was there trying to fix the broken tractor. With no other option Adam was going to rely the old fashion cultivator made of iron and wood to have the horses pull. But one morning one of the horse wasn't feeling well and not wanting to use the only horse. He choose not to do any farming work until the tractor was fix.

But Danny saw the old wooden cultivator. Used by a ox or bull to pull back in the very early years of farming. When Adam stepped outside he saw Danny in one of his field slowly pulling the wooden cultivator. Seeing he isn't going to stop and use this for training Adam let Danny continue to use the cultivator on his back for training purposes.

Checking the time seeing it's half past nine he nods seeing how much Danny has grown in the past weeks since he arrived in Spittoon, Arkansas.

"WHISTLE" Adam sees he got Danny's attention. "Breakfast". Placing down a few plates seeing Danny coming, Adam turns to some other help he hired.

"Man that kid is something. Doing this for four weeks straight" one of the older rancher in his late twenties nods.

"Kind of hot if you ask me" A female rancher giggle and looks at Danny walking towards the table outside. "Fourteen and starting high school this year. He's going to break allot of hearts".

"Memories" chuckle another work hand.

The female nods "Oh yea. I ride-in some guys that couldn't handle me but one man in high school". The female rancher giggles while the guys rolls there eyes. "GOD WHAT A MAN".

"Enough" groan Adam hoping Danny didn't hear it. "Don't corrupt the kid" Shaking his head he turns to Danny seeing how much he has change. One morning he saw Danny shadow boxing and training on a free day when he went to Alicia cabin to barter on a few things. Curious on what he knows, Adam quickly dispatch Danny who blinks wondering how he did that. Danny knew Adam was in the military and special forces but soon took a security military job that went south.

Losing his leg up to his knee and part of his arm up to his elbow in the process of that job. Ever since that day Danny trained with Adam learning from him. Picked up a few things but also showing him different styles of fighting. Adam saw how much of a natural fighter Danny is but also how fast he learns. But one thing Adam told Danny to learn once he get home is to try parkour where he lives. To open his mind to see the world in his own backyard.

"Hahah" Adam chuckles seeing one afternoon, Danny couldn't keep up with him in the forest even with his bionic leg he was still able to move like he did before the accident he had. Flipping through the air, gliding through the air landing and rolling but also running up the trees. Danny tried to keep up but soon Danny started to learn. Just from listening to Adam and watching him.

Gliding through the air running up the tree than climbing it. Adam was impress that only one week Danny was learning this quickly that it took him months into years. But Danny still has a much longer way to master it.

"Great I'm starving" groan Danny. Walking to the long wood slab of a seat, Danny takes a seat and reaches for the plate.

"So high school?" ask the female rancher.

Danny nods "Yea freshmen. But will be starting late again going to Canada for a birthday" smile Danny. Seeing it's the third week of August and September is right around the corner in a week. "I will be leaving next Friday morning to Canada".

Adam chuckles "Emberlynn birthday is September" eyeing Danny carefully watching him smile and nod.

"Girlfriend ahhhh" the female rancher giggles while the guys chuckle minus Adam he snorts and shakes his head. Danny cough and shakes his head making the female rancher raise an eye.

"Emberlynn! No she is my best friend" reply Danny. Rolling his eyes he turns to the female rancher laughing even harder.

"Ohhhh that kind of friend" the female rancher elbows the guys between her making them chuckle.

Danny raises an eye wondering what she means while Adam sighs and shakes his head. Seeing it hasn't happen it he wonders if Danny is dense or maybe it's something else he isn't seeing.

"Tomorrow you're leaving with Alicia to the edge of her property?" ask Adam. Seeing Alicia is going to take him to pan out some gold.

Danny nods wondering if they will find any gold out in that area. "Yea it will take a day to get there by horse back. Not much of a road" Seeing one of Tom's tribe members check the area with Alicia permission. They are hoping that Alicia buys the next plot of land next door to keep that land free from any developer along with the tribe's land as well.

"Can't wait hoping to find some pieces as well" chuckle Danny. Everyone laughs but Adam heard a whistle of a bird looking up he stares at a location.

"Tattletale bird" everyone stares at Adam while Danny looks confuse "A bird that instinctively warns when a bear is around campsite. Or another big predator in the area you can pick it up on bird language!".

Everyone nods but soon they go back to eating but Adam watches the dense forest. Looking and staring at the tree line staring at the shadow seeing something moving from one side to another like watching them. Seeing that they are safe and not in danger?

'I don't like this. Something is up and my gut tells me to keep a look out' thought Adam.

Alicia Cabin next day very early morning Sunday

Before the sun even rises the stars are still out as Tom, Adam and Alicia are talking. Danny checks the batteries on both cell phones. Seeing one fully charged the other is half way dead. He shuts the phone off sending Emberlynn a message he will be out gold hunting with his aunt. Service will be none will text her day before his flight.

"Well lets go and Adam thanks for lending us your two horses for the trip" smile Alicia.

Adam nods and looks at Danny with serious look "Stay aware of your surroundings."

Tom nods throws some powder over their heads mumbling a native American prayer to them. Alicia rolls her eyes but Danny he nods to both men that he learn to understand them both.

"Don't let Adam get to you. At times I wonder if his PTSD still gets to him" said Alicia looking at Danny who is riding the horse with ease. Danny nods but spoke hearing what Alicia said.

"I don't it's his Post-traumatic stress disorder. I think he's worried something might happen" reply Danny. Turning to his aunt snorting and shaking her head the two continue to ride until the night time to reach the area. Seeing it's at the edge of Alicia property Danny sees on the map seeing they are a few hours away from two neighboring states that Arkansas share on the west side.

LATER Campsite

Once the camp is up Danny unrolls his sleeping bag and walks inside his tent. Seeing they arrive he hears some howling and blinks "Wolves?" walking out while Alicia nods but looks towards the area strangely.

"To young, very young. Sounds like a small pup perhaps abandoned or it's parents got killed by bigger predator" Alicia notices the horses looking startled. Danny walks towards the female horse seeing she took a great liking to him. Alicia sees Danny getting the horses calm and relax. "Get some rest".

Danny nods as he is about to walk to his tent he notices something moving in the shadows and soon heard knocking not to far from the distance. Listening to everything around him he crouches down and listens. He hears the river, the fire crackling the horses breathing the gentle breeze in the air. The night life making sounds as he takes it all in, he turns to his tent to get a good nights sleep.

"It's going to be a long few days" yawn Danny. Walking back inside his tent into his sleeping bag he hopes Emberlynn is fine.

Few days Later Wednesday morning.

Happy that the river has fish swimming in it. Danny noticed two small wolves cub in the area having two different color coats. Alicia and him saw bones that belonging to a larger dog in the area. Seeing a bear in the area very early morning it's safe to say the two small cubs manage to outsmart the bear a few times. But the parents must have not gotten lucky.

"Yes" happy his net caught some more fish. Danny hears some barking."Ahh they you two are" Seeing the two small wolf cubs barking at him, Danny throws a large trout towards them making them take a few steps back. "Got to head back to aunt Alicia. We leave early morning and still not much gold" groan Danny.

Seeing they manage to find some pieces of gold. Danny knew it wasn't going to be easy panning for gold and what they got to show is a few bread size crumbs of gold. Even though it will help his aunt out but also Tom's tribe. Danny can see why Alicia wants to buy the other large plot of land. Seeing the next state over down south isn't far and a developer wants to buy it.

Tom's tribe's land is just over that side and if a developer buys the plot it will ruin the beauty of the forest. But also a large national forest that is tied to Tom's tribe. Walking back to the camp site, Danny sees Alicia packing up a few things seeing they will head out early next morning.

"Knocking"

Danny looks around while Alicia narrow her eyes.

"Their goes the knocking again" muttered Danny. Looking around wondering where is that knocking coming from. Ever since they arrive both of them heard the knocking but unable to locate it source of sound.

"Tommyknockers just can't be" muttered Alicia shaking her head. She has heard from old timers and members of Tom's tribe of mines were forced to close because of the men's fear of the spirits. When the mines played out, the legend continued, as many said the Tommyknockers found work in the homes surrounding the old mine shafts.

To Danny it sounds like something metallic is hitting a large rock or boulder. "Huh" Danny sees the horses making noise and soon the two small wolf cubs runs towards Danny whimpering. "Hey what's gotten into you two?".

Alicia raises an eye and soon "Cah" turning to a small crow on the ground "Cah". Alicia watches Danny gently picks up the small crow whose wing feathers is partially missing.

"Must have gotten attack by a bigger bird" frown Danny. Walking to Adam's horse he carefully places the small crow on the horse saddle of the horse. The two small wolf cubs begin to play with each other.

"Come on lets head towards the river but stay close to the water part of the land above it looks unstable." Danny nods understanding what his aunt is saying. Noticing part of the land about to collapse while the trees look ready to drop. "It's like something has been moving it or mining it" muttered Alicia.

River area Late afternoon

Danny is panning some of the river's soil seeing it's getting dark soon. As he changes pan and pan to a smaller and finer strain. Danny notices one or two shinny rocks, grabbing the tweezers he places them in a glass vial. As he sighs he hears a loud "CLANG".

"Huh" Alicia looks up to Danny shaking his head "Wasn't you?". As both of them are standing in the water soon they hear something. Danny turns around wondering what is that sound it sounds like something crashing and sees Alicia running to him and everything went DARK.

With Danny

Feeling something on top of him crushing him like the whole weight of the world. Danny is struggling to breath as he takes a small breath he closes his eyes and sees nothing but darkness. Feeling more weight on him every time he moves his heart begins to thump slower and his vision already covered in darkness swallowing him. Trying to move but unable Danny feels cold.

"Danny".

Hearing his name, Danny moves his arm. Wondering who is calling his name he hears the voice again. His mother or father no a voice he has heard before but not from a familiar face. Soon he started to see colors green and purple mix with darkness.

"Danny"

Moving his other arm he begins to wiggle his fingers and toes. Feeling the warmth when the person calls his name, Danny pushes himself but feels tired and sleep is slowly taking over. Closing his eyes he feels he is falling seeing pitch black slowly changing or shifting to green and purple feeling a strong tug pulling him there. Wanting him there ready to have him there.

"DANNY"

Danny eyes snap open feeling the warmth all through his body slowly pushing himself up onto his knees feeling the large weight on his body he feels his face free of dirt. "AHHH" taking a small deep breath, Danny begins to grab handful of dirt in front of him pushing it away. Than howling soon Danny saw light opening his eyes he sees a large figure with a bracelet.

Danny stares at the person but exhaustion took over him once more and passes out trying to get air into his lungs.

"Hmm" groaning. Danny feels something wet and some barking and chirping he sees the cubs on him trying to wake him up. Groaning he turns over grabbing the flashlight and looks around in horror to see what happen. "Landslide" looking around he sees his aunt Alicia on ground with dirt covering half her body. "AUNT ALICIA" Danny yells and crawls towards her soon gets on his knees. Feeling his body protest he starts to walk towards his aunt seeing her breathing but bleeding from her head.

Both wolf cubs lick Alicia hoping to wake her up.

Danny moves the flash light pointing around and sees he's boxed in. Looking around seeing the supplies he runs to get the rope. Taking a deep breath he ties the rope and throws it up to a tree catching a branch. Climbing out he carefully moves up the collapse land around the river. Seeing the horses still at camp, Danny sighs in relief.

"How long was I out" groan Danny. Seeing the stars he groans checking the time on his watch seeing it's half past four "This isn't good." Checking the cell phone seeing no services he growls in frustration but has work to do. Grabbing the small axe Danny drags himself towards a tree and begins to chop some wood.

"Need to make stretcher for Aunt Alicia. But how will I get her out from there?" Danny checks the bag and sees a pulley. Nodding knowing he can make this work, Egyptians use logs and pulleys to move the world creating some of the largest structures even today's time. Starting a fire to keep warm but also to have light, Danny sees the two small wolf cubs bringing in branches while the small crow is on a large boulder.

Spittoon, Arkansas Alicia cabin Thursday late evening

Adam sees Tom pull up and looks at him with a confuse look. "Alicia nor Danny has return. This isn't like Alicia at all" said Adam. Checking the time seeing half past ten he swing by early around three to see them. Thinking they went out will come by later he went inside to rest but woke up hours later and still no one has arrived.

Tom nods. "No it's not. I fear something went terribly wrong. My uncle told me of an incident few years ago. Of a neighboring tribe telling them a spirit walker a wolf of some sort protecting the land against evil spirits. I brush it off but the locals spoke of two F.B.I agents coming in checking the area and returned back nor denying or confirming the incident".

Adam groans hearing the F.B.I he got up "Lets go into town and call Alicia sister maybe she dropped Danny off herself" muttered Adam.

Tom nods "I hope so". Hoping that would be the case.

Amity Park Fenton works LATE at night

"Maddie the phone" groan Jack seeing it's half past ten nudging her to wake up. Maddie groans and reaches for the phone.

"Hello" yawn Maddie. Wondering who it is she knows Danny will be landing first thing in the morning to Canada.

"Maddie Fenton. Alicia sister"

"Yes" Maddie yawns.

"It's Adam Jonson I'm a friend of your sister and made sure Danny didn't travel alone" Adam waited for Maddie to respond.

"Ahh yes thank you" yawn Maddie.

"It was no problem. I'm sorry for calling you this late. But Alicia nor Danny has arrived back to her cabin, Tom and I are getting worried this isn't like Alicia want so ever. We are wondering if any of them contacted you?" ask Adam Hearing nothing but silence on the phone Adam knows something went wrong.

Maddie froze hitting Jack waking him up "No Alicia didn't call nor Danny. They're missing?" Jack turns to Maddie with a serious look wondering what is going on. As he moves closer to listen.

"We don't know. Alicia took Danny out to the edge of her property to pan out for gold"

When Maddie heard the word gold she froze. Jack shakes his head not believing this. Can this be tied to Danny. But also what are the odds of this happening.

"I will call you back I need to make a phone call" reply Maddie.

"I will call back in ten minutes" reply Adam.

Jack was already on it calling Melder on his cell phone. Maddie began to dial Elena.

Tomion Elena home

Elena hearing the phone go off groan as she got up to pick it up "Hello" yawn Elena.

"Elena it's Maddie. Did Danny call you or Emberlynn?"

Elena notices Maddie's voice in distraught as she got up walking to Emberlynn room "No he hasn't call did something happen?" ask Elena. Walking into Emberlynn room seeing her waking up and stirring.

"My sister friends say they didn't return back from panning gold. They might be missing. It's not like my sister to be late or not to call" said Maddie. Elena listens to Maddie knowing about her sister.

Emberlynn looks confuse and looks at her mother "Mom what's wrong?" ask Emberlynn. Feeling cold and weird for some reason.

"Emberlynn did Danny call or message you it's very important" ask Elena. Emberlynn shakes her head and reaches for her cell seeing no messages. "Maddie nothing from Emberlynn as well. No message what so ever".

"Oh god" Maddie said.

"Mom what's wrong what happen to Danny" Emberlynn started to get scared.

"He's missing" reply Elena.

Emberlynn world came crashing down.

"Jack and I called in a favor we are heading to Spittoon, Arkansas to check and search for them" Maddie hears Jack and nods. "Elena we will call you with any updates but if you have any updates-"

"Yes of course I will call good luck" said Elena hearing the dial tone. Elena sees Emberlynn not moving but holding herself.

"I feel cold but also something is wrong mom" Emberlynn started to cry. Shaking her head she got up and a ring appeared around her midsection breaking into two transforming her. Elena grabs Ember arm a name she choose to be shorted.

"Where do you think you are going. Stop! I know you are worried and scared but jumping and running into this blindly won't help you" Elena let go of Ember's arm and took a deep breath. "I know you are scared but rushing into this and exposing herself like this. It will be too much". Trying to reason with her daughter, Elena sees Ember crying.

"You want me to do nothing. Danny would do something stupid and crazy just to risk his life for me" cried Ember. Shaking her head she is about to take off but the grandfather clock in the living room started to play. Ember froze the last time that happen is when she fully transformed when she was nine years old. Elena sighs in relief thanking Clockwork if he is watching.

"Who said we are going to do nothing" grin Elena.

Amity Park Fenton works

"But school starts in a few days. Can't you two just go without me to-" Jazz flinches watching Maddie slam her fist on the dresser. Seeing her mother angry look Jazz looks down with a scowl.

"I had enough" hiss Maddie. "You are a teenager not an adult." Jazz is open to retort but Maddie narrow look silence her. "I honestly don't know where we went wrong in raising you but I am disappointed in the person you are becoming not caring about your family". Maddie narrows her eyes on Jazz who sighs and folds her arms.

Jack walks into the living room packed and looking at the two. "We will deal with Jazz later. Chopper will be here in few minutes picking us up from Fentonworks. Melder says a military plane will land in the airport in Texas. From there we will have a few vehicles to choose. So help me take some equipment and pack for three days" Jack gives Jazz a glare who rolls her eyes and stomps up the stairs.

"Her own brother, Jack and she is worried about her studies where is her priorities" Maddie shakes her head while Jack hugs Maddie. "I thought if we paid more attention to them. Involve them with our work that they will understand. Going out as a family but it seemed to make it worse for Jazz" Maddie sighs.

Than the house phone goes off, Jack went and answer it.

"Hello" said Jack.

"Hello this is Adam Jonson"

"Yes, Adam thank you for calling. I'm Jack Fenton, Maddie's husband and Danny's father. Elena says Danny didn't call her nor Emberlynn."

Adam curse "Shit not good. Alright Tom and I will start scouting the area. We told the sheriff of the situation he's calling the park rangers. Townsfolk will be ready first thing tomorrow morning to go searching".

"Thank you. We will arrive at Spittoon, Arkansas in a few hours I called in a favor" reply Jack.

"Understood. See you than" Adam hangs up.

Jack sees Maddie with her bag while Jazz comes down with her bag and another bag with books. Both parents roll their eyes.

Spittoon, Arkansas

When Adam hanged up he looks at Tom who spoke solemnly. "I don't know what could have gone wrong". Tom looks at the distance wondering if they are safe.

"Neither could I but I find it strange I'm concern for Alicia not Danny. I don't know why I mean it should be the other way around" spoke Adam. Tom nods as the two begin to scout the area to see any sign of the two.

Spittoon Arkansas Town Friday Morning

Tom and Adam are talking and soon a large pick up truck pulls in. The sheriff seeing Maddie nods to her as he walks towards her.

"Maddie it's been a few years. I'm sorry the bad timing"

"Thank you sheriff it's good to see you" Maddie smiles and sees two people walking towards her.

"Adam Jonson"

"Dimosi Tawoodi. But call me Tom"

"Maddie Fenton. This is my husband Jack and our daughter Jazz. Any word or sign?" ask Maddie. The sheriff shakes his head pulling out a large map of the area pointing to spots that Park Rangers are checking.

Adam nods "We also have towns folk checking the area and Tom's tribe is checking the area as well" explain Adam. Pointing to places that they are checking he looks at Jack who is looking at the map.

"The route that Alicia took you have everyone checking it in different spots and miles away" Jack nods seeing they are covering the area but also routes where Alicia or Danny can be. Adam and Tom nods already thinking that seeing it would be the best place to look for them.

"You are wasting your time"

Everyone turns to an old man shaking his head. Jack narrows his eyes but Maddie groans knowing who it is. The sheriff sighs while Jazz rolls her eyes seeing the old man is probably the only sane person in this back woods town. Some of the volunteers glares at him while Tom and Adam turn to him with angry looks.

"You are looking in the wrong direction" the old man walks towards the map and looks at the routes. "If something happen would you two take the route that Alicia would take coming back home?".

Adam is about to say something but stops. Tom slaps his fore head while the old man nods. Everyone turns to the two men wondering what they are missing. Maddie and Jack blink at the old man.

"That boy is smart, cunning and strong. If something happen where do you think he would go." The old man of the comic book store looks at everyone. "Tom you went hunting with Danny and Alicia tell me what have you seen?".

Tom nods "Leaves no tracks moves through the forest like he's part of it. He respects the land and observes his surroundings but also pays close attention".

"So he knows the terrain and the routes to take. Good now Adam what about you?" ask the old man. Everyone is looking at him while Maddie blinks and Jack turns to Tom hearing him say hunting. Danny went hunting?.

Adam nods "He's strong he knows how to hike and keeps his head level. He makes sure he takes stops to rest but also to resupply with fresh water. But also plans the next route or step knowing where to go and when to move" reply Adam

Jack and Maddie are shock to hear that Danny is learning all this but also they are learning more on what their son has been doing.

The old man nods "So if something would happen. What route would you take?".

Adam turns to Tom who nods and looks at the map. Tom and Adam would point at a route making the sheriff raise an eye. Seeing the two nod while the old man nods his head seeing that's what he would do living out here for the past two decades or so.

Maddie saw the route and flinches "That's a mountain route it cuts through the mountain right into town but that route is very dangerous but also-". Maddie turns to the sheriff whose radio went off.

"Sir we found them. They are walking down the mountain pass north east from here"

"Copy that. We are heading towards the location" said the sheriff.

Everyone watches the old man laugh "Told you" turning around he waves at them heading back to his store. Everyone started to run into their vehicles as Jack starts up the truck. Tom and Adam jumps in their truck sitting in the bed while Tom bangs on the cabin letting him know to go.

With Danny Spittoon town

Each step has feels like it's his last as he is carrying two bags on each of his shoulders. Both horses pulling Alicia in a make shift stretcher as both wolf cubs are walking besides Danny the small crow is slowly flying in the air gliding and leading them.

"CAH" the crow circles around and lands on the horses saddle. Seeing it can only fly for a few minutes Danny soon hears both wolf cubs howling. Danny chuckles seeing the town buildings from the mountain path.

"Finally" muttered Danny. Slowly leading the horses he continues to walk but soon sees a few vehicles driving towards his location. Seeing it's a truck but also having the sheriff. Danny sees a few more vehicles driving towards him. One truck stops not to far in the middle of the road.

"DANNY"

Danny sighs in relief to see his parents meaning Adam and Tom must have contacted everyone when he and Alicia didn't arrive Thursday night. Wincing at his mother giving him a hug making him chuckle, Jack hugs both his son and wife.

"Ow, ow, Dad, mom please sun burn and bruises maybe broken bones" whine Danny.

"I don't care" Maddie looks at Danny seeing how much taller he has gotten before Danny would reach to her chest but now Danny reaches almost the same height as his sister.

"You did good son" Jack ruffles Danny hair making him chuckle. Soon ambulance arrive to check on Danny who waves at them but points to Alicia.

"Danny what happen?" ask Tom. Adam nods and sees him in rough shape but Alicia is in worse shape than him. As everyone nods they notices the two small wolf cubs standing besides Danny and a crow landing on his shoulder.

Adam turns to Tom whose mouth drop open in shock.

Danny sighs and shakes his head. "Landslide like someone was mining the area. Kept hearing some clang sounds coming somewhere in the area. Aunt Alicia says Tommy knocks or knockers. Out of nowhere a loud CLANG and the whole area started to slide. We were boxed in all around but something pulled me out. I was buried I don't know-" Danny runs his hand through his hair shaking his head.

"Tommyknockers?" blink Adam. Turning to Tom "Guess the story matches with what your neighboring tribe said".

"She has a concussion we need to take her now" said the paramedic. Maddie nods while Alicia is carefully being move onto a stretcher as the adults blink seeing how Danny made the stretcher.

"Clever" chuckle Tom. Seeing the rope but also branches weave together making it stronger.

"Clap, clap, clap" everyone turns to a person wearing a suit. "So they found them but I already sold the land". Adam glares at the banker while Tom took a step forward but Danny stops him. As he walks forward Danny narrows his eyes on the banker.

"Aunt Alicia says she has until Monday to make a deposit. So here is her deposit" Danny pulls the two large bags on each shoulder and drops them on the ground onto the banker foot who soon started to curse.

"You little shit. I think my foot is broken" everyone ignored the banker cursing they are all too busy staring at the gold all over the floor.

Maddie and Jack couldn't believe that Danny was carrying those four bags of gold. Adam grins happy to see the asshole foot broken, Tom smiles and nods happy what Danny has done for him and his aunt Alicia.

"That should be enough to put a down payment on the land" Danny narrow his eyes on the banker who continues to protest.

"The HELL NOT" glaring at Danny. "That deal will go through first thing tomorrow morning" the banker soon starts to limp while another person picks up the gold and nods to Tom and Adam. A different banker who has lived in Spittoon, Arkansas for many generations and cares for the town.

"Danny we need to get you to the hospital to be checked" said Jack.

Danny nods as he turns to the wolf cubs playing and the small crow on the horse saddle.

"Don't worry Danny. My people will take care of the young animals" chuckle Tom. Petting the wolf cubs seeing they are very young the small crow flies on Danny shoulder and looks around.

Spittoon Hospital

It been a chaotic day for many people in Spittoon, Arkansas. Seeing local news got wind of Danny's gold panning adventure larger news media came to town to see if what has happen is true. But some people are having it much worse.

"THE HELL YOU MEAN I CAN'T SEE DANNY OR YOU WON'T TELL WHAT ROOM HE'S IN" shouted Emberlynn. Elena sighs seeing her daughter temper shaking her head it's been a rough flight with the jet. Stopping in another state to refuel and once they landed in Arkansas they took a truck and drove two hours.

"I'm sorry miss. But only family can see him and a few select of people can" said the nurse. Before Emberlynn exploded she heard someone speaking.

"Room five twenty, Emberlynn" Elena turns to a man wearing sun glasses and having bionic arm and leg. Emberlynn sees him remembering Danny mentioning a soldier owning a ranch whose an amputee. "Danny's room five twenty he usually talks to you in the morning or night. He should be awake"

Emberlynn runs towards the staircase making Adam raise an eye.

"Thank you.."

"Adam Jonson. I'm good friends with Alicia and got to know Danny during this summer" seeing the stair case door close. He turns to Elena "Would it have been faster if she took the elevator" ask Adam.

Elena nods but sighs "For us yes but Emberlynn" shaking her head. Knowing her daughter she turns invisible than intangible and floated straight up.

With Emberlynn.

Opening the stair case door she looks around and sees signs where the rooms are. Walking quickly she sees the door partially opened hearing groaning and moaning she sees a nurse with bandages walking out.

"Danny" peering into the room she sees a tall teenage male figure with black hair and blue eyes sitting on the hospital bed with the top half of his chest bare groaning trying to fix the bandages.

"Emberlynn" when Danny heard his name he turns around while fixing the bandages around his chest. Seeing he has a broken rib and two crack ribs, doctors say breathing will hurt for a few days. Slowly getting up he carefully walks to Emberlynn but when Emberlynn saw Danny she rushes in pushing the door open.

"YOU'RE ALIVE" cried Emberlynn.

"Ahh" wince Danny. Feeling the tight hug than a pop "Yup that's another broken rib" wince Danny. Emberlynn having her face buried in his chest smiles. Danny looks down slowly putting his hands around Emberlynn petite frame. Danny notices he has gotten taller than her. Seeing Emberlynn reaching to his neck he is a few inches taller than her but also he notices how thin curvy petite frame she has. But he also feels something else on his chest making him blush a bit.

"Stop being a baby" complain Adam. Walking into the room with Elena next to him she raises an eye at the two and giggles.

"Emberlynn you need to let go or help him with the bandages. We are going to check on his aunt Alicia" said Elena with a seriousness in her voice. Emberlynn picked it up and nods while Danny nods. Adam raises an eye wondering if their is something more going on.

"Come on let me..."Emberlynn stares at Danny she has seen him without a shirt a few times at the pool or beach. But not like this just staring at Danny's develop four pack the muscles on his arms. She sees how much taller Danny is to her but also seeing the charming boy face being more rugged more define. Putting her hand on his face she stares at Danny who gently takes her hand. Feeling the roughness of his hand made her weak for some reason.

"You ok?" ask Danny. Emberlynn snaps her attention and nods as she grabs the bandages she looks at her mother who is giggling while Emberlynn has a horrified look that she was ogling Danny like that.

"Teenagers" sigh Adam. Turning around walking out of the room while Elena is giggling.

Alicia Room

"There she is" smile Maddie. Seeing Elena walking in while Tom nods seeing Adam walking in he wonders why Jack wanted them both here.

"Sorry had to make sure Emberlynn saw Danny" giggle Elena.

Adam chuckles "Yea should have seen her face I don't think she was ready to see Danny at all" chuckle Adam.

"Meaning?" ask Tom while Jack and Maddie nods. Elena giggles and covers her mouth while Alicia looks at everyone wondering what are they talking about.

"It seems Emberlynn is noticing how much Danny is growing but also seeing him more than what he is a friend. Sparks are flying she was horrified that she was ogling at Danny like a piece of meat" Elena is giggling much harder while Maddie laughs hearing this.

Jack chuckles and grins "They have known each other since they were five years old. Give it time". As he takes a deep breath, Jack turns to Alicia with a harden look. Alicia gives Jack a confuse look but when she saw Maddie she raised an eye but than Elena.

"I don't have clearance for this" Adam mutters.

"Feels like I'm back in the army" muttered Tom.

"What happen" demanded Jack and Maddie. Both parents narrow their eyes on Alicia who rolls her eyes at them as she folds her arms wondering what is going on. She sees Elena staring at her making her confuse.

"You saw something no someone" spoke Elena. Watching Alicia seeing she is going to be a tough nut to crack she places her hand on her hip and raises an eye. Turning to Jack and Maddie she nods. "Jack, Maddie there must be something you know and won't say. I had Emberlynn do some digging and an incident about two hikers a few years ago appearing in front of the hospital miles away from their camp. Spoke of a skin walker a large wolf of some sort"

"Hmm yes that incident happen a few years ago and was investigated" Maddie nods while Tom eyes widen to hear this while Adam blinks.

"That was true and the F.B.I" groan Adam. Knowing how that organization is and he had to deal even work with some of them.

"Yes they are good friends of ours actually. They want to help us" said Jack. Elena hearing this looks surprise as she turns to Maddie who nods and silent mouth her later. "So Alicia tell us what you saw" ask Jack.

Alicia huff and drops her head. "Happen so fast. When we got there everything seems fine nothing out of the ordinary but than we heard tommy knockers."

"What" Adam and Tom said in shock that she heard this but also admitting it.

"Huh?" said Elena.

Jack nods "Miners came to believe the Tommy Knockers were the spirits of dead miners who were warning their fellow miners of impending danger."

"Ghosts even out here" mumble Elena. Alicia snorted folding her arms making Elena roll her eyes "Ahh a skeptic even if you heard these tommy knockers you refuse to believe it and look where you ended up". Alicia was about to say something but flinches to see a dark glare coming from Elena. "What did you see" press Elena.

Alicia looks down and shakes her head "Again happen so fast. I wasn't far from Danny we were in the river panning for gold. All of a sudden we heard a loud CLANG like something hitting a rock or boulder with a pick axe. Than following that we started to hear a rumble I looked up and to my horror I saw a landslide coming down. I began to run towards Danny who was looking around wondering what was happening".

Everyone nods. As Alicia takes a deep breath she shakes her head and looks at Maddie and Jack. At times when Maddie talks about her work, Alicia always thought something else would happen. But to see it happen it shocked her belief.

"I saw the landslide swallow Danny burying him under a few feet I got trapped myself". Everyone sat in silence while Alicia nods "but something grabbed me and pulled me out half way until I told him to stop" everyone stares at Alicia who is staring at her hands. "I looked up I saw red bleeding from my head I was telling him and pointing to Danny."

Alicia looks at Tom who is staring at her nodding his head listening to her. Believing her every word.

"It was a large wolf standing on it's legs. He put me down and started to run towards Danny location. He started to claw the dirt digging his way towards Danny. He spoke I couldn't believe it but it sounded like Esperanto".

"Wulf" blink Maddie and Jack. Everyone turns to them wondering what is going on as Maddie pulls out her a tablet showing a picture of a large wolf wearing a a hoodie, pants but with a bracelet.

Alicia mouth drops open wide in shock nodding her head. Elena sees the ghost picture and nods while Adam and Tom blink.

"Means he is watching and passing the information along to Amorpho." Maddie nods and rubs her chin. "Krang must still be looking for more gold. That was twenty two karat gold Danny dropped on the banker's foot".

"Wait what gold?" blink Alicia.

"Oh yea. Danny was carrying about hundred something pounds of pure gold on his shoulders. Dropped on George foot breaking two of his toes" chuckle Adam. Alicia mouth drop open wide in shock.

"Why is Krang looking for gold?" ask Elena. Jack and Maddie glances the three making her nod "Later" sigh Elena.

"Doesn't matter about the gold. George sold the land to a developer from the south" Tom sighs. While Alicia frowns seeing she couldn't help Tom out.

"Not necessarily" two people walk into the room smiling at Jack and Maddie.

"Melder. Skolly. Happy you got my message" smile Jack.

Skolly nods and pulls out two folders opening one she turns to "Adam Jonson joined the marines at eighteen rose through the ranks. Impressive list of skills later joined special forces, survival specialist, weapon specialist, vehicle and aircraft specialist long list". Everyone turns to Adam who nods and stares at Skolly. Seeing how she present herself but also knows where to go.

Skolly closing the folder she opens another one and "Dimosi Tawoodi or Tom. Native American tribe believing in spirit walking joined army at eighteen. High valor and reenlist again with army native special forces. Trained ranger, survival specialist in extreme conditions Impressive work gentlemen". Skolly turns to Melder.

"Also the land that was sold recently. I made a call to the Federal parks it will be under federal wildlife preservation. So Tom's tribe will have it's protection along with the national forest near by. All of it" Melder sees Tom mouth drop wide in shock. Adam sees this will help Alicia but also Tom as well.

Elena is watching the two seeing they know Jack and Maddie.

"We need three people to watch the land and seeing how you three have the best knowledge, experience and training. Also Alicia being related to Maddie" Skolly sees Tom glancing at Alicia who nods while Tom shakes his head.

"F.B.I. I worked with some agents some are-" Adam looks at Melder who spoke.

"We are a different branch of the F.B.I The U Flies" Melder says and looks at Jack and Maddie "You three will report to Jack and Maddie. Some funding will be provided to keep an eye on things. Equipment as well provided by Jack and Maddie" Melder nods.

Tom shrugs his shoulders "I'm in". Giving Maddie and Jack a nod seeing what they have done for his tribe and more. But on what Danny has achieved.

Adam sighs and nods his head "Fine since he's in".

Maddie turns to Alicia with a smile. "Oh no. I have seen that smile" Alicia groans while Maddie nods smiling. "Alright you got me".

Maddie smiles making Jack chuckle.

"Where's Danny?" ask Skolly.

Melder nods thinking the same thing.

Elena giggles.
