Casper high school Time skip end of February Freshmen yr.
With the season over and having their only first lost entering the second round of the playoff. The Crows were beaten by the Vultures a rival of Casper High for many generations dating back before Brandon Draven. Seeing the Vultures were countering half the Crows plays. Vince got hurt and Dash was put in the last quarter with a three minutes on the clock.
Thinking his time will shine, Dash tossed the ball to a senior who was being covered by two players. Leaving Danny wide open in the end at the thirty yard line. The senior unable to get free the Vulture's intercept the ball. Running with the ball in his hand the vulture player kept pushing. Once down Crows lost the ball while Dash cursed.
The vultures just wanted to waste time. Took a knee knowing time would run out. Giving the Vultures the win and giving the Vultures future state champ. Danny sees the assistant coach Harbor nodding with Vince, Easton and everyone else. Vince calling everyone from sophomore up to the seniors but sent a senior to retrieve Danny. The only freshmen on the football team they ask for.
With Dash huge blunder and not liking Danny it cost Casper High crows a win but also possibility state champs. Assistant coach Harbor made it clear while the others agreed to do this secret meeting.
Kwan, Dale and Dash wonders what is this about. Jerry the senior waves it off telling them Danny only needs to come. Vince want's Danny to come up with more plays for next year. That he wants to hear from the sophomores and up on plays seeing they will be on next year Varsity team.
Kwan and Dale nods understanding this while Dash rolls his eyes and huff at Danny.
"Alright so next year when Easton takes over." seeing the sophomores and juniors nod. Vince sees assistant coach Harbor nod backing him up. "You will follow Easton and Danny you all saw the game yesterday. Someone copied our plays or gave the Vultures a copy. Next year that changes". Vince seeing everyone nod.
"D.J, Brandon son will try out next year. He's coming to Casper high next year" stated Danny. Everyone hears this nods knowing the legend of Brandon Draven the legendary player of Casper high who won the crows champions.
"But one thing Dash has an attitude it needs to change" Easton nods while everyone agrees with him. "We need him out of quarter back and-".
"Groan" Danny groans making everyone turn to him. "Look Dash can play he just needs to follow the plays I can work around that." The students blink at Danny seeing him shrugging it off. The seniors and juniors shake their heads not agreeing with Danny. The sophomores frown seeing what Danny wants to do. "I will put the team ahead of my pride. I have more important things in my life to focus on".
Easton and Vince chuckle knowing what Danny is trying to focus on. The others blink while Danny cheeks turn red seeing him and Emberlynn are more than good friends. When she came to their Dance back in December but stayed with him until the new year. Many people got use to see Emberlynn around amity Park standing next to Danny.
But also seeing how the two know each other but also when class started up again. The boys locker room talk has gotten more intense seeing some bite marks and bruises on Danny neck, back and chest. It became no secret that Danny is very active with his girlfriend which other girls in the school frown seeing he is taken.
Tucker usually tells Mikey to relax and ignore it. For Sam she hears the cheerleaders talking and giggling about it almost all the time. Turning red herself listening to the four cheerleaders talk about their activities. But Emberlynn and Danny tops the four hands down.
"So will there be a problem?" Vince looks at all the players who shakes there heads. "Good all the sophomores will talk to the freshmen during practice. Easton I will let you handle Dash" order Vince. Easton nods and gives Danny a nod. As Danny leaves them gym he grins and smiles.
'Well plan is coming along fine.' Danny sighs and wonders what is next. 'Once Easton graduates I will be in charge but might give it to Brandon once he's a sophomore, jr will do better than Dash' thought Danny. Entering the classroom seeing Lancer stare at Danny who nods.
Danny took his seat while Kwan and Dale blink at him. Waving his hand saying later both players nods while Dash rolls his eyes.
"Pst Sam" Tucker watches Sam turn to him "What do you think that was about?" ask Tucker.
Sam shrugs her shoulders. It hasn't been an easy few weeks to months ever since Emberlynn appearance in December. Tucker and her tried to cheer up Mikey but he kept moping around. Sam kept her distance from her but not everyone kept their distance.
Mikey was upset to see Emberlynn at the dance with Danny of all people. When everyone saw Danny and Emberlynn everyone was shocked to see them looking almost looking like royalty. Mikey stayed at the dance for two hours and left angry to see Emberlynn and Danny all night.
"Probably talking about football" Mikey rolls his eyes and folds his arms. 'But it's interesting only Danny was asked to go? Wonder how Rebecca will like this new piece of information' thought Mikey. He is seen half the time without Tucker and Sam, rumors were flying around he was hanging with Rebecca during the break. When he wasn't with Rebecca he was with Sam and Tucker.
Later Fenton work
When Danny got home he notices Jazz sitting at the kitchen table. Rolling his eyes at his sister he walks towards the lab downstairs. "Mom, Dad I'm home" staring at his parents welding and working on the ghost portal. Danny turns to the locker and grabs his ectosuit. Frowning seeing they made a mistake on the suit. He wanted his initials on the suit but seeing they couldn't read his father hand writing.
They placed a D and a P on it together. Once zipped up he walks towards his parents who are checking some circuit boards. "How's the cooling dad?" ask Danny.
Jack smiles "It's working Dann-o. Using liquid hydrogen to help cool it will work. We ran some test and soon we can fire up this baby and huh?". Jack notices Maddie cursing as both father and son walk towards Maddie.
"We have a problem" groan Maddie. Walking towards them Maddie shuts the torch and points to a few circuit boards. Jack looks at them and blinks while Danny curses seeing them half fried.
"I don't get it?" blink Danny. Looking at the circuit board he turns to his mother who nods sadly. "This is just a pretest and the circuits are fried. HOW?" Danny punches the metal wall of the portal. He's been helping his parents build this portal as long he can remember. Jack and Maddie frowns knowing about trail and error.
"Danny stuff like this happens" said Jack. Nodding his head knowing he's been waiting to activate their own portal. Jack knows this will change everything but also he feels something off for some reason.
"You're father is right dear. It's just going to take at least a year for us to replace or even repair some of these circuits" frown Maddie. Seeing some if not maybe all the circuits needs to be change.
"Well we better start now" frown Danny.
Clockwork Realm
Clockwork nods as he ends the time portal he turns to Lahkesis shaking her head. Thanatos is spinning his scythe lazily in his hand while Obb notices Clockwork siblings looking tense for some reason.
"I still think it's a mistake, Clockwork" Lahkesis walks towards her brother. "Krang will move on Ember. Vlad will not be strong enough to protect her. To wait until Daniel becomes a halfa later on will be a mistake. A mistake that will cost us time but also her life. Why did you purposely sabotage the portal?" Lahkesis kicks a clock shattering it's glass.
Thanatos watches Lahkesis turn to Clockwork who sighs and moves his time scepter around repairing the broken clock.
"You may think that sister but Krang isn't aware of Daniel." Reminding them of what he did to Danny. "The ghost are almost a point of giving up. Frostbite, Pandora and the others will be launching a all out assault in one year time. If they can't get through the shields someone else can" spoke Clockwork. Knowing who can get through the shields but also knows one person who will do something crazy.
Obb nods hearing this.
Thanatos chuckles and nods. "But also that core fragment merging with Danny it's something different. Is it?". Clockwork smiles and turns back to the time portal watching various timelines. But one timeline Clockwork is looking at carefully. Seeing he reached out to other timelines he was sent a core fragment from himself to help aid him.
Lahkesis shakes her head and looks at the time line. Seeing the months go by and soon another year. But not everything goes according to plan. She shakes her head seeing the warning she gave to Emberlynn has come to true. But yet the other issue will come soon when Danny loses her.
January Tomion Emberlynn home a year later. Both are sophomores.
Emberlynn is staring at her dad nodding his head. She shakes her head and looks at her mother who frowns nodding her head as well.
"I can't do that. I can't cut Danny out of my life dad, please don't make me choose" Emberlynn is piratically begging. Looking at her mother for support Emberlynn sees her turn to the side with a heavy sigh seeing she is going with her father on this.
"Emberlynn it's for the best. It's for his safety, Krang has control of most of the ghost zone. Most of the realms are under his control" Vlad looks away with a sigh. Seeing how close Emberlynn has gotten with Danny and hearing Elena saying they been going out for over a year.
"I can't do that dad" Emberlynn piratically begs and begins to cry. Shaking her head thinking what Lahkesis said to her "Mom please there has to be another way" begged Emberlynn. Elena looks to the side shaking her head. That one night Vlad almost came back wounded terribly.
"I have to agree with your father on this occasion. He's still not fully recovered from the battle against Fright Knight. We need to regroup our efforts" said Elena. Emberlynn looks down crying.
"You want me to give up the best thing in my life. The person who makes me complete" cried Emberlynn. Shaking her head "Let me FIGHT! Dad's been training me practically since I was a child. Let me fight" begged Emberlynn. Covering her face both parents frown "Please let me fight alongside Danny".
Vlad stood up from his seat shaking his head.
"No. For his safety and yours I cannot. This changes now Emberlynn" Vlad shakes his head putting his foot down. "Krang will be moving soon and we need to move back to the states. I have more equipment and protection there" sigh Vlad. Not happy to see Emberlynn like this but to protect Danny from what is coming. He has to have Emberlynn cut off from him.
"Give almost no information. Tell him something change that things are moving to quickly with the company" Elena frowns hearing what Vlad wants Emberlynn to tell Danny. This isn't what she wants but she hopes things will pull through that Danny will help and do something.
Emberlynn gives her parents a dead look making them flinch and Elena saw it. It was a look of lost, defeat but also heartbroken as her will to keep going is gone, diminish that her life isn't worth a thing. Closing her eyes she opens them to give Vlad a look to reconsider but seeing him stoic and shaking his head she frowns.
"If that's what you want so be it" whisper Emberlynn. Turning around "I'll start packing" walking to her room.
"See" Vlad sighs "That wasn't so bad" shaking his head laughing he is thrilled that Emberlynn didn't put up more of a fight. "I was expecting more of a fight and battle" laughing he sees Elena giving him a angry look making him flinch. "I know but it's for the best" sigh Vlad.
"Best" Elena sighs. Seeing Emberlynn broken "Vlad what's best for Emberlynn is Danny" Elena covers her face shaking her head. Looking at Vlad who frowns "She looks like she has given up on everything. I have asked you to tell Maddie and Jack everything but you are afraid and that's natural. But they will die protecting Emberlynn if Danny chooses so" Elena got up and begins to pack while Vlad nods.
"That's what I'm afraid of" whisper Vlad.
February Casper High Danny Sophomore 16yr Thursday
Things haven't gone to what Danny has been planning. Emberlynn almost cut all contact with him for the month saying her dad company are moving to fast. That Vlad is moving them down to Wisconsin. Connie graduated last year leaving Rebecca in charge of certain things. But seeing Danny gain much of a popularity but also many students liking him.
Rebecca lost lots of support.
Keeping quiet with what is going on with Emberlynn. Danny for the past month hasn't been feeling Emberlynn all to well. Feeling her cold but also lost. Danny begins to wonder what is going on.
"Mr. Fenton" Lancer calls Danny's getting his attention. Seeing the teacher blinking at his student, Lancer notices the dull angry look he has in his eyes. "The answer" ask Lancer.
Everyone stares at Danny wondering what is bothering him. Everyone in school noticed a change in Danny for the past month, Star and Paulina reached out to Emberlynn who said nothing is going on. That his parents are under allot of stress. Both girls nods seeing that the school board and P.T.A denied them to retrofit the school with ghost shields.
"Sixteen equals to x" muttered Danny. Looking down to his notes it's been a long year and the portal still hasn't been activated. Worse the city retracted their parents permits to rewire part of the power from the streets into the house.
When he heard the name Mason involved. He looked into the company and sent it to news paper and business magazine of the future heiress of the inventor of the deli toothpick cellophane-twirling device. Let's just say many companies pulled their business out of Mason Food inc. When they began to dig into Sam's past seeing she burned down a gym not handling pressure of being an heiress.
Pam and Jeremy demanded to know who is spreading lies but with the media wanting gossip and is looking into it. Their was no lie just a girl who couldn't handle the world that was being served on a sliver plate for her. Became goth to protect herself seeing she couldn't handle the criticize from others.
Sam name has become known in Casper high seeing how rich she is. Many people rolls their eyes at Sam seeing she wants to change things to benefit herself not for others.
"Correct" said Lancer. Turning around to continue his lecture.
After school
Danny grabbing some books and sighs. Seeing the pictures of him and Emberlynn he closes his eyes trying to feel Emberlynn. Feeling her so weak and vulnerable he tries to push the connection but feels a wall of some sort or it's slowly breaking or tearing.
"Danny great news" Dale, Kwan and the four girls nods. "We got a shot in the playoff we drew the wild card".
Danny smiles and nods "About time something goes our way. So who are we going to face?".
"That's the problem" Dale sighs "The only team that beaten us the Vultures." Kwan nods while Danny curses seeing what team. Two weeks ago they lost against the Vultures by a field goal seeing they were countering some of their plays. After their only lost and being out for the season they became the wild card. As a wild card they have a chance to get in the playoff's but they have to beat another team to do so.
The team that drew to play against the Crows happen to be the Vultures again. Before Danny spoke he feels his leg almost giving out using his locker to hold him up. He shakes his head while Kwan and Dale rush to him. The girls blink wondering what was that.
"You ok?" Dale with his hand on Danny's shoulder.
"Yea felt tired all of the sudden" wonder Danny. Shaking his head he sighs but notices Nathan carrying some mother boards. "Nathan side project?" watching the geek roll his eyes at Danny. Rebecca told them to keep quiet and play somewhat nice to them.
"The thrift store in town got a bunch of equipment from Axion labs seeing they are upgrading their systems. I snagged this decent two year old mother board" Nathan snorts nodding his head.
When Danny heard this he blinks. "Tell Coach Harbor I won't make it to practice but I will be there for tomorrows game" grin Danny. Grabbing his binder he looks at the picture of him and Emberlynn smiling. Dale and Kwan blinks and glances each other. Seeing how Dash lately has been getting on people's case and Easton has benched him but Coast keeps putting him in the game.
"Alright. But warning you, Dash is" Dale tries to find the right words while Kwan nods but Danny rolls his eyes at them and waves them off. Grabbing his cell he dials his father who picks up.
"Dad tell mom bring money and the check book. Meet me at the thrift store I just solved our mother board and circuit problems" grin Danny.
Fenton Works Later
The drive coming back from the thrift store wasn't a peaceful oh no it was fun. When Danny got there he saw one section of electronics filled to the brim. Grabbing almost every mother board, circuit board, chip, capacitors and more he can get his hands on. When Jack and Maddie arrived they were shocked to see the high end level of technology that Axion labs got rid of.
Knowing that Vlad took a while to transition the name over but also to upgrade their system. Danny is helping his parents place the circuit boards on the loading dock to their basement.
"Only problem is power" sigh Jack. Maddie nods frowning seeing they were going to use the town's power to activate the portal. But seeing they their lost the rights and permit to work the wiring from outside into their home.
Danny snorts "Dad you ever read Frankenstein?". Sitting on the loading dock Danny sees how large Fenton Works has gotten. With the other home bought and combine into their home. Danny sees his father nod "What did he use to power up his machines?" ask Danny.
Jack sighs while Maddie blinks "Danny Tesla coils, and batteries with old fashion capacitors won't work". The moment Maddie finished everyone heard thunder. Blinking seeing it's going to rain they turn to Danny laughing.
"Lightning. If we can use the Ops center antennae to emit a low electronic frequency charged-" Danny sees Jack eyes widen.
"That will attract the lightning to use it to power up the power cuff links and and plasma ion field. To activate the portal punching a hole" Jack eyes widen and looks up to the sky seeing it getting dark.
"Punching a hole using the magnetic converter along the plasma field ion booster. We can stabilize the portal" finished Maddie. Seeing Danny nodding, Maddie grabs some high voltage wire going up to the op center.
Lab LATER
Once in the lab Danny puts on his ecto suit. Seeing he added some devices over the years. He created a small wrist computer on his left wrist. Having a belt to hold tools and more that also powers the computer. They begin to work on the ghost portal. As they are changing the last of the circuit boards, Danny sighs he feels off.
"You should take a break" chimed Jack. Seeing Danny been working nonstop and wondering what is going on with Emberlynn. The past month things have been strange for everyone. "I know you been wanting this to happen for a long time. We are proud of you Danny you came a long way".
"Thanks Dad" smiling he looks at his mother checking the computer. As Jack finishes plugging the last of the wires in. Everyone hears the rain outside looking at the clock seeing it's half past seven. Danny feels light headed but shakes his head.
"MOM. DAD. What's for dinner?" Jazz lazily walks down to the lab seeing her parents and brother working on the portal she rolls her eyes. Seeing she has another year of this left and she can finally head to college.
"I picked up thai it's in the fridge" smile Maddie. Knowing how much Jazz likes Thai food they watch Jazz nods her head and walk upstairs. Seeing they many times they try to include her in their work but never wants to.
"Well this is it" smile Jack. Looking at the portal they didn't notice Jazz stopping at the top of the stairs rolling her eyes at them. Seeing the portal complete, Jazz sighs seeing they are wasting their lives. Flinching hearing the thunder and the rain coming down harder.
As Jack and Maddie take seats at the computer they begin to start the initial start up sequence. Danny is on standby in case they need something "Power cuff links on all green and stable."
Maddie nods and types some commands "Liquid cooling holding stable temperatures all green". As both parents begin they turn to Danny who is on a console himself but controlling the ops center. Feeling a sharp pain he feels Emberlynn in distraught. "Danny" Maddie blinks to see Danny shaking his head.
Jack glances at Maddie when she told him that Danny might be an empath they didn't rule it out. Seeing how close Danny and Emberlynn is but wonders if their is something more that Clockwork, Lahkesis and Thanatos aren't saying.
"Fine bent my nail back" muttered Danny. Seeing his parents nod "Start up sequences initiated antenna emitting charge electronic current. All systems are green" smile Danny hearing the rain on the house. The thunder seems to echo through all of Amity Park and lightning illuminates the dark sky. Danny thinks back a year ago when he was in Spitton feeling the same storm that night.
"Starting plasma field" Jack sees the temperature holding and stabilizing. Danny got up and watches the portal spark looking at the control console he smiles seeing the antenna's are working. Maddie begins to type in some commands getting everything stabilize she nods. Thunder got louder and Lightning is seen at the basement windows illuminating the night sky.
"Beep, beep" Jack and Maddie glance at the warning, Danny sees the beeping and watches his parents frown.
"Cooling line popped off. We need to shut down to fix it before the portal over heats" said Jack. Than a piece of the equipment exploded, Danny is on the console seeing the antenna going haywire.
"Lost connection to the ops center." Typing some commands he continues to keep the ops center stable. He looks at his parents with a determine look. "I can fix the line" said Danny. Lightning and thunder roars through Amity park and the rain seems to come down even harder.
"WHAT" Maddie shakes her head looking at the portal seeing being filled with gas from the cold air. "Too dangerous we need to vent it out and shut down". Looking at Jack who sighs and nods.
"NO" Danny shouts and runs inside the portal "Don't it will take a second" Once inside the portal Danny is looking around seeing the line popped out at the end of the portal he quickly runs to the back. Turning the valve off seeing how cold it is his sweat started to freeze. Popping the line back into the valve he turns to knob again.
For Jack and Maddie they are worried and than something unexpectedly happens the op center got struck by lightning. Jack watches the console that Danny was on started to spark uncontrollable.
"The start up sequence turned on" Maddie eyes widen in horror the console she is on started to spark and now she has no control. Jack runs to Danny console and his eyes widen seeing the antennae being over loaded. "I can't shut it off my console is dead, JACK" looking at her husband trying to shut down from his end who cant.
"Power capacitors are at it's max. It can't take another bolt of lightning it's impossible to hold this much power what's attracting it" Jack watches part of the lab spark and a computer explode sending parts everywhere.
"DANNY" both parents shout at Danny who is still inside. Jack and Maddie look at the console seeing the temperature returning back to green "GET OUT OF THERE" shouting and running towards the ghost portal sparking uncontrollable.
Danny hears his parents scream as he begins to run towards the exit of the portal. But cant seeing the sparks the electrical feedback preventing him from leaving than a pipe broke wires fell. Danny struggles to move the wires off his body. Than he heard the start up sequence and his mother shouting.
"Jack shut if off where is the off button"
"Inside half way"
Danny hears his parents shouting removing the wires than everything got quiet. That's the scary part when everything got quiet nothing made a sound it's has the world around them stop. Like some one stopped time.
"THUNDER AND LIGHTNING" silenced the whole town of Amity Park the lights all went off in the town but the thunder echoed through the whole town. But in the basement of the Fentons it wasn't the echoing of the thunder no. When that last bolt of lightning hit the ops center it over loaded the system sending all that power right into the portal.
Right where Danny is still in.
"AHHHh"
Jack and Maddie stare in horror to hear their son scream inside the portal when it activated. Watching the portal start to glow soon it spring to life but for Danny it wasn't life he was feeling. It was death feeling his body being electrocuted he drops on his knees and closes his eyes.
"Em...ber...lyn" whispering her name Danny blinks and sees something odd. images of him, Sam and Tucker. Shaking his head he sees other images things happening but things not happening. Closing his eyes he feels odd slowly getting up he feels cold but warm. "AHHHH" scream Danny.
Everything felt strange seeing images of him but also other ghost. People he knows but people he doesn't. He sees Vlad evil and his parents gone watching him turn evil merging with another ghost. "AHHHH" as Danny continues to scream soon he stopped and sees a small bird staring at him. Than the bird flew off leaving behind feathers.
Jack and Maddie watch the portal spring to life. Staring at it they see a console on the computer connected and looking all green. Than they heard coughing running towards the portal to check on their son.
"Man what a rush" Danny coughs and steps out of the portal. Blinking seeing his white glove staring at his hand he blinks and looks at his parents who are staring at Danny in shock."What?" blink Danny coughs. Danny notices his reflection on the metal "Whoa".
"Danny?" Maddie whispers her son name.
"Son?" Jack blinks.
Danny blinks at his reflection seeing his white hair moving like a small flame or wind he notices his green eyes to be glowing. But he has blue eyes and black hair how is this possible. But his ecto suit the colors inverted and the initials on his suit are glowing green.
"What happen to meeeee" Danny blinks and stares at he floor "Whoa I'm floating?" landing his feet back down. Danny turns to his parents staring at his hand than they turn invisible. "What's happening?" blink Danny. Seeing this is happening to him 'This is like almost Emberlynn. But'. Danny looks to his parents who touches his face.
"Wow you're cold" Maddie pulls her hand back. Jack runs to a desk and grabs a scanner and tablet looking over Danny who is staring at them weirdly. Maddie looks at Jack who is looking over the readings.
"Make no sense he has ectoplasm in him? How is that possible it close to Vlad's but Danny's numbers are way higher" blink Jack. Staring at his son thinking of the accident that happen to Vlad many years ago back in college.
"Vlad?" Danny blinks thinking what his father just said. Jack and Maddie sees Danny in deep thought 'Emberlynn was born a halfa. Vlad is a halfa meaning the accident with the portal in college turned him into a halfa. Vlad is the first halfa, Emberlynn was born she is the first natural born halfa and I'm the third halfa but second created!'. Danny eyes widen realizing everything and soon a white ring appeared around Danny's midsection.
Jack and Maddie blinks watches the ring around Danny's waist break into two and moves up and down from his body. Once it was done they blink at Danny wearing his clothes not his ecto suit.
"You look normal?" blink Jack. Looking at the reading seeing it give off some type of energy. Danny runs to the thrash can and throws up making both parents scrunches their face in disgust.
After he finished throwing up and his parents checking Danny out. Maddie is staring at Danny's blood under a microscope trying to make hands or tails of this. Jack is going through some files while Danny has his arms folded watching his parents work.
"I said I'm fine" muttered Danny. "Guess left overs from last night ham didn't agreed with me". Jumping out of the chair he sighs and takes a deep breath trying to control his emotions he feels something off. "Look can we do some more test tomorrow after school or something. I'm tired and hungry and-". Danny looking at the lab door opening seeing Jazz coming down.
"It's half hour to ten are you three going to eat anything" Jazz rolls her eyes and gives Danny a package with his name on it. Blinking seeing who it's from "Came early forget to give it to you" shrugging her shoulders. Jazz walks back up the stairs and slams the door shut.
Danny opens the package seeing its from Emberlynn. Once open he blinks and stares at her diary in his hand. Jack and Maddie glance seeing the diary wondering why Emberlynn sent it to Danny. Danny would just hold it and stare at it.
"Tick...tick..tick..tick.." Danny hears the ticking staring at the portal he feels the diary in his hands.
Maddie notices the change of mood and nods "Alright tomorrow. Go eat and rest".
Jack nods thinking the same thing. As Danny nods he walks up the stairs out of the lab. But before he left he turns to the portal swirling green but hears no ticking.
Danny's room LATER
"Tick...tick..tick...tick...tick...tick..tick" Danny slowly gets up. Walking out of his room he sees his parents passed out on the couch sleeping. Slowly taking a deep breath he carefully walks towards the lab doors. Carefully sneaking down the stairs, Danny sees the eerie green light coming from the portal. Seeing it's half past twelve.
(Danny I love you so much. I'm afraid this will be good bye). Closing his eyes thinking on what he read in the diary that Emberlynn sent him (I can't put you in danger I love you too much to see you get hurt). Danny closes his eyes.
"Tick...tick..tick" hearing the tick of a clock. Danny eyes snaps open staring at it and gets closer. Standing in front of the portal Danny takes a deep breath and feels Emberlynn emotions reaching out. Feeling, lost scared but also terrified. Danny tightens his fist and mutters "Going ghost". Feeling a cold sensation run through his body and than a hot feeling he opens his eyes and looks at the reflection of the mirror. Nodding he begins to walk towards the portal but soon took flight.
"AHH" flying through the portal Danny sees a light at the end and soon he blinks seeing he is a different world. Laughing taking a deep breath he thinks back when he first met Amorpho when he showed him the comic book the Specter.
(I never knew the joy of flying it's like being free) feeling the freedom he looks towards an area hearing something. A small battle of some sort seeing large number of ghost flying away. Danny feels a pull a tug slowly floating to the area he sees ghost hurt others not moving. Looking around seeing destruction, machines, ship all damage and broken.
Danny thinks back to Emberlynn diary (So this is the only best solution that dad thought of. To keep you safe away form everything. The danger of you being with me).
Danny hears someone yelping in pain turning around seeing a skeleton ghost harassing a female and biker ghost. Danny watches the biker being blasted.
"JOHNNY"
Danny narrows his eyes and charges towards the skeleton ghost who is walking towards Johnny. As he swings his blade Danny thinks back to the comic book (My hands itch and when they do energy erupts). Danny blasting the ghost back sending him flying. Narrowing his eyes on the skeleton he sees the female helping Johnny up. Danny gives him a nod and turns to a loud explosion.
Danny took off. (The danger of you being with me). Danny closes his eyes thinking of that line from Emberlynn diary. "I don't care about the DANGER" shouted Danny.
"Who was he Kitty?" Johnny shakes his head.
"I don't know but he helped us" Kitty seeing the other ghost nod. They begin to follow this mystery "Phantom."
As Danny keeps flying he feels weird his chest vibrating it's like it's telling him to go. (I don't know what to do. I want to call you, tell you everything but I can't. Dad is trying his hardest to protect me and mom. I'm scared it won't be enough). Taking a small breath he looks around and sees more and more damage but soon sees a large structure of some sort. Seeing a large building with a broken telescope. Danny blinks and hears more explosions not to far from him.
(In the Phantom world the humans are the Phantom while Phantoms in the real world are phantoms) Danny remembers that line from the comic book. Slowly floating towards the location he sees a large number of ghost. Seeing they are slowly retreating he turns around to hear a roar.
Danny begins to fly towards the battle. Seeing ghost pointing at him wondering who he is.
"RETREAT" hearing someone calling for a retreat, Danny hears someone laughing. Looking at a ghost with flaming hair with metal face. Danny sees a yeti ghost fighting some skeletons ghost. Seeing the young Yeti ghost about to be attack by the other ghost. Danny charges towards the ghost. (So I don't know when I will see you or hear your voice every again. But know this)
"It's over Fangice"
"No it's not Skulker" the ghost yeti shakes his head. Skulker grins as he is about to fire his laser he hears something whistling turning around he blinks at a teenage ghost with white hair charging towards him.
"ARGH" Skulker is speared and sent flying towards large wall of rock. As he got up he glares at the ghost whose hands are glowing green "Ahh a new comer joining the war about to end".
Danny narrows his eyes on him looking around seeing many ghost looking exhausted and defeated. Danny feels his chest pumping "Did you do this" mutter Danny. Looking around his green eyes turn red at Skulker. "You are going to PAY KRANG". Danny charges towards Skulker who scoff as he aims a few missiles he blinks watching the new ghost blast his missiles.
Skulker blinks and soon it explodes in his face. Danny looking around begins to blast a few area's and when he does. A few machines goes off blowing up and soon parts of the ghost shield are dropped.
"Tick..tick..tick..tick..tick". Danny hearing the ticking looking around he watches a new path open up. The ghosts around him blink in surprise seeing this Phantom appearing out of no where. Helping them turning the tide around in this war. "There" Danny took off again flying towards the area.
"Fangice who was that?" a ghost from Pandora's army looking at the yeti ghost who shakes his head.
"I don't know. He just appeared out of no where like a phantom" the yeti sees a few more ghost who are helping others seeing the ghosts coming together. They all nod while one ghost a bad luck ghost smiles.
"He helped me out. And I want some payback on Krang buddies" said Johnny. Everyone around him nods as they turn to the location where the new path is open.
"MOVE".
Danny is hearing the ticking getting louder. Flying towards the location he sees a large number of ghost than he sees a large army. Looking around he sees chariots being pulled by ghost Pegasus. Seeing large numbers of ghost Yeti Danny hears one scream.
"WE CANNOT STOP HERE KEEP PUSHING. WE MUST NOT LET KRANG WIN" Danny stares at the ghost "Frostbite" looking at the large army pushing forward he sees a ghost shield around the area. Every attack is useless seeing the shields not being penetrated. Narrowing his eyes he charges towards the area straight in the middle. Taking a deep breath feeling the power in his hands.
(But know this. I will always love you Danny. You are my first love, my first best friend my lover and I wished someday more). Danny sends a few ecto blast to the area thinking on what Emberlynn wrote to him in her diary. Frostbite blinking seeing a ghost charging towards the middle firing blasts on each of his side. Wondering who this Phantom is Frostbites watches in horror.
"DON'T HE WILL SEND OUT ALL HIS GHOST IN THE FRONT" Frostbite shouts towards the young Phantom. But seeing the blasting on the sides, Frostbite watches the Phantom continuing charging.
"STOP HIM " shouted Dismay. Looking around looking worried "Agony. This isn't good he's charging towards us" Dismay looks at Agony who rolls his eyes. Looking towards the ghost he scoff.
"He can't get pass the ghost shields" Agony nods. Folding his arms they watch the ghost smile and soon see a blue ring around is midsection. Both ghost imps or gnomes blink watching the white hair teen ghost change his appearance. As he continues to float towards the ghost shield, Danny puts his arms up protecting himself and goes right through the ghost shield shocking every ghost in the area.
"GOING GHOST" the transformation ring appeared around Danny and his hands glowing green. "AHHH" extending his hands and arms out he sends a ecto blast to the area he begins to spin. (I wished someday more. I know you think I'm crazy but I dream of us together for a long time Danny). Ghost behind the shield are running, Agony and Dismay are scared looking at each other they see the ghost shield flicker on and off and soon the ghost shields the machines powering it blows.
Danny floats in the area as smoke filled the area machines continue to blow up every ghost staring at him are scared. Scared to see the glowing green eyes following them like they will be hunted down.
Pandora watching this is shocked but awed. Seeing the shields collapse "CHARGE" soon every chariot with Pegasus are flying towards the location. As for Frostbite he makes it to the area he carefully sees the ghost who is responsible for getting the shields down.
"It's been years Frostbite. Last time I saw you I was a child" chuckle Danny. Watching the large ghost Yeti stare at him seeing his eyes widen in shock "There. That's where the ticking is coming from. Clockwork" Danny takes a deep breath. As he begins to float off the ground he saw Agony and Dismay running.
"Daniel" Frostbite whispers. Seeing him nod he takes off towards Clockwork realm. Seeing some ghost retreating he sees his second in command "Fangice you brought backup Skulker didn't cause you problems" smile Frostbite.
Fangice shakes his head "Skulker was about to finish me but this Phantom appeared out of no where. We are pushing through behind the destruction he is leaving behind beating Krang forces back. Is he on our side?".
Pandora lands wondering what is going on. Looking at Frostbite wondering who was that ghost who brought down the shield. "That was Danny Fenton a ghost hunter. Ally to Amorpho. He just gave us the opportunity to push back" Frostbite raises his arm up in the air.
Pandora hearing the name is shock looking at the direction he went. She smiles.
Clockwork Realm
When Danny saw the home he carefully entered through the doors. Thinking about the line that Emberlynn wrote that shocked him the most. He knows Emberlynn will do it to protect the people she loves. But at the cost of her own...
(I love you Danny and this is goodbye I wish it wasn't but it has to be. I'm willing to sacrifice myself to even...I can't say because you and everyone will try to stop me. To make sure the people I love. The person I love will be safe. I probably won't come back as a full ghost there's no guarantee. If I do I will be lost don't give herself more ache for my sake.) Walking up the stairs he sees three ghost he hasn't seen in many years.
"Clockwork" Danny sees Clockwork nods as he looks at the different time streams. "So this is an alternate time line where Krang changed the past. Creating this timeline a new world".
Lahkesis turns to Clockwork wondering how did Danny figure this out. Obb eye widen while Thanatos stares at Danny seeing how smart he is. Or perhaps the portal accident turning him into a halfa along with that core fragment that clockwork put in him. Did something or showed him something.
"Yes, Daniel" watching Danny he sees other timelines where he, Tucker and Sam are best friends. Other timeline where Ember and him are together but she isn't a halfa seeing different worlds. Different timelines, Danny turns to Clockwork with a narrow look.
"I don't care about the other timelines the other alternate realties. They mean nothing to me" Danny eyes glow green taking a deep breath. The four ghost nods while Clockwork smiles seeing Danny understands the situation. "Ember. Is she safe?" demanded Danny.
Thanatos shakes his head.
Lahkesis looks away.
Clockwork sighs "For now" opening a time portal showing the events that are happening. "Vlad was attacked a month ago by another powerful ghost. Fright Knight in doing so he manage to place an illusion on Vlad making his fears come to life."
Danny nods now understands why Vlad did it. Tightening his fist he hopes he isn't too late.
Lahkesis sighs "He thought the best thing for Emberlynn was to have her break contact with you". Rolling her eyes she sees Danny staring at the portal.
"He was protecting her. But he got scared that's fine" muttered Danny. Glaring at Krang who is at the home in their lab "Tell me how to get there" demanded Danny. His green eyes change to red making Thanato's chuckle.
"Cah"
Danny hears a bird.
Clockwork smiles "Follow the bird call". Danny blinks and sees his outside of Clockwork realm looking around he sees a small shadowy figure covered in smoke circling a area around him. Nodding he charges towards the area as he continues he hears another.
"CAH" soon the area change and Danny looks around seeing a mausoleum underwater. But sees a reflection of a forest not to far. "Huh" Danny blinks hearing a guitar note being played. Shaking his head he sees the mausoleum gone and the area change but what Danny sees.
"Really? He placed a giant football in front of the portal. I mean come on Vlad" Danny groans and moves it.
Minutes before Danny Side Step
"ARGH" Vlad is blasted back while Ember swings her guitar on Fright Knight who blocks it with his soul shredder. "I won't let you take her" Vlad groans and drops on his knee while Elena rushes to her husband.
Krang laughs at them "It's over. If she knows what's best she will come with me quietly or suffer like the others" Krang floats towards Emberlynn who turns the dial of her guitar to a fist. As she plays the note making the ecto fist, Krang swings the scepter to the side making the attack stop. Snapping his fingers the attack disappears shocking her.
"Krang is the master of all time. You cannot win" said Fright Knight.
Vlad groans as he slowly got up shaking his head. He tries to blast Fright Knight who scoff at the attack. Sending it back to Vlad making him groan in pain.
"DAD" shouted Ember. Rushing towards him she stops seeing Krang appear between the middle of the two. "Just leave me alone" shouted Ember. Playing another note, Krang just moves his scepter back and forth making the attacks stop and disappear.
"The only time I will leave you alone. Is when you become my new queen. Once I take the throne no one will dare to stop me. No one will have the power to do so" Krang moves closer to Ember but stops.
"KRANG" Dismay and Agony rushes into the lab. "We have a problem. Frostbite, Pandora armies got through the shield" Dismay whines and walks back and forth. "They got help from someone. Someone able to get pass the ghost shield" whine Dismay.
"WHAT" shouted Krang. Wondering how is that possible seeing them both nod. Krang shakes his head thinking it's not possible but seeing where he is now. He chuckles "It doesn't matter. I can still easily destroy them". Seeing they will soon fall and that they breaking through the shields will prove nothing to do them.
"What about that Phantom that got through the ghost shields" whine Agony. When Krang heard the name he turns to Agony making him nervous "That's what everyone is calling that ghost teen. Phantom" letting out a small laugh. Agony notices Krang narrowing his large eye on him.
"Phantom, Phantom I know I heard that name before. Hey wait a minute, Agony wasn't that the kid we were suppose to kill?" Dismay sees Krang lifting the scepter up making both ghost imp scared.
"Dead as a door nail. Watched him go SPLAT" shouted Krang. Using his time scepter he slams both ghost into the wall than out to the portal. Looking towards Ember "You will come with me. If you don't they die" Krang turns to Fright Knight who draws his sword ready to strike her parents down.
"NO" Ember plays another note watching the fist attack towards Fright Knight. The Halloween ghost slashes the attack "Don't hurt them please" Ember frowns. Closing her eyes wishing Danny was here.
"Good. You will learn your place" smile Krang. Watching Ember walking to him, Fright Knight nods.
"Emberlynn no please" pleaded Elena.
"Quiet" Fright Knight raises his sword up as he is about to swing "UGH" being blasted towards the wall. Krang turns to the knight as he turns around to the portal everyone sees a figure walking out of the portal into the lab.
"She's not going anywhere with you" Danny steps out of the portal. Glaring at Krang he takes a deep breath while Krang took a step back in fear. Seeing who it is he shakes his head thinking it's not possible.
"HOW" pointing to Danny using the scepter, Danny charges towards him. Using the time scepter trying to stop him "How can I not stop you" Krang eye widen in shock to see the power of time not working with him. Instead Danny is slowly reaching Krang shocking the over size Observant ghost. Using the scepter blocking his attack.
Danny chuckles "Wish I knew. Maybe it was something to do with the small crystal that Clockwork put in me when I protected Emberlynn when we were children. Something being involved of outside of time or maybe that glint of a core crystal he fused with me. Was also from an alternate timeline a timeline where I have a special core. So special it was called an ediolon core" grin Danny.
Krang hearing this floats back in fear seeing Danny walking towards him.
"That would mean the chrono stone is partially useless against you. Clockwork knew this which means only he can affect you" Krang floats in the air sending a ecto blast to Danny who moves his hand across him creating an ecto shield.
"CAH" Danny shadow changed it started to morph into something and soon it took shape of a bird with wings. Danny looks towards Fright Knight charging towards him with his sword using the shadowy wings. He catches the blade. "CAHHHH" the bird shrieks sending a ecto blast of pure energy into Fright Knight sending him into to the portal.
"No" Krang eye widen in horror to see a guardian helping him. "That's not possible how, WHERE, WHEN DID YOU FIND HIM". Krang points at Danny in shock but also fear on what he has but also who he is.
Danny drops on his knee breathing hard and fast. The shadowy wings soon started to leave and his shadow return back to normal. As Danny slowly got up a blue ring appeared but it changed to sliver. Than the sliver ring around his midsection breaking into two.
"Man that was a rush" chuckle Danny slowly getting up glaring at Krang.
"You can't be alive. I prevented you from every becoming PHANTOM" Krang floats around the room angry to see who it. Thinking it's another alternate Phantom from a different timeline but it isn't.
Danny chuckles "You know what's so funny. Everyone has been calling me that and I'm starting to like the name more and more. Danny Phantom has a nice ring to it and seeing I already got the initials" chuckle Danny. Turning around seeing Elena near a ghost he turns to Ember smiling. "So the accident back in college with my parents transformed Vlad into a halfa" Danny raised an eye while Ember stood there frozen.
Being this close to Danny she takes a step forward feeling everything. Feeling all of it she slowly cries seeing Danny came here to her rescue. After everything she did he still came back to her. To protect her but also seeing what he is now.
"I'm so sorry. I was only" crying looking at Danny who is walking towards her laughing. She shakes her head "You came" cried Emberlynn. A white ring appeared her waist transforming her back to normal.
Elena sighs in relief while Vlad is confuse. Looking at Danny wondering how does he know this he turns to Elena who rolls her eyes and whispers that Danny knows of Emberlynn halfa side.
"Always" whisper Danny kissing Emberlynn on the lips they begin to glow green. Krang seeing this shakes his head charging towards them. Danny breaks the kisses and quickly transforms. Turning intangible and sinking to the floor with Emberlynn next to him.
"I WON'T BE DENIED" shouted Krang. Looking at the location they were in "BOOM" Krang is uppercut high in the air sending him flying back to the ground. Looking up seeing Danny while Emberlynn transforms to Ember.
Krang got up and begins to blast Danny who begins to walk towards Krang. "I won't stop. I saw the future it's mine to control" trying to blast Danny. Krang watches Phantom sway his body left and right missing the attack.
"The future isn't set in stone" Danny hand glowing green reaching to Krang he punches the ghost in the eye.
"AHHHH" Krang flares his arms all around. "I will never stop until you are both destroyed. I will rule both worlds" shouted Krang. Danny stood by Ember with her parents behind him "This isn't over"
(This is just the beginning of your end.) Danny thinks back at the comic book watching Krang slowly fading away "This is just the beginning of your end, Krang" Danny eyes flashed sliver shocking Krang. Once gone he sighs and looks at Ember hugging him. "Yea missed you too" Danny hugs her as he turns around he blinks at Vlad and Elena staring at him.
"Hmm hi" chuckle Danny. Transforming back making him groan, Ember giggles while Vlad throws his hands in the air. "Oh yea" getting Vlad attention he punches him in the jaw making Ember wince. Elena sighs and shakes her head "Wait until mom gets your hands on you Vlad".
When Vlad heard this he flinches "Now hold on Daniel. You don't need to be rash to tell Maddie about me being a halfa?". Letting out a nervous laugh, Danny gives him a confuse look and shakes his head making Vlad confuse. Elena looks confuse as well while Ember transforming back wonders what Danny means.
"We activated the portal today I mean err yesterday. No she is pissed on what was going on with Emberlynn she tried calling Elena. But Elena couldn't give her much a reason to why. Saying you said something" Danny folds his arms with a nod.
Vlad hearing this flinches and looks around the room "I think I'm safer fighting Krang and Fright Knight instead of Maddie" gulp Vlad. Elena and Emberlynn starts to giggle while Danny snorts nodding his head. Looking at the clock he flinches to see it's two am.
"We need to head out. I can shut down the portal and reactivate it later. We need to leave for somewhere safer" sigh Vlad. Wondering where to go he sees Danny grin making Vlad raise an eye. "Oh no" blink Vlad.
"Let me get my purse and a bag" giggle Elena.
Emberlynn smiles and stands by Danny who holds her hand.
"I'll call" muttered Vlad.
Fenton works 3:30 am
Hearing the phone going off, Maddie groans and turns over. Picking up he phone from the small table near the couch she yawns "Hello Fenton works" yawn Maddie.
"Maddie it's Vlad. I got an emergency."
"Vlad what's wrong?" Maddie got up. Throwing the phone book at Jack who groans and wakes up "What's the emergency, Vlad". Maddie turns on the lights seeing Jack rubbing his eyes looking at Maddie.
"We will be downstairs at your portal in two minutes and please keep an open mind. Also Danny is with us see you soon" Vlad hangs up.
Maddie blinks and looks at Jack with a confuse face. Shaking his head wondering what Vlad said to Maddie he looks at his wife blinking.
"What did Vlad say?" Jack ask. "What's his emergency?" looking at Maddie for any type of response instead she looks confuse.
"He said he will be downstairs at our portal in two minutes but also Danny is with him" answer Maddie. Jack looks confuse how can Vlad be at their portal in two minutes but also how is Danny going to be with him.
"DANNY" both parents got up and ran down stairs. Once down stairs in the lab they see the portal but also hearing laughing. Watching Danny floating into the lab with a female ghost next to him.
"Danny what is going on? Who is she? Where did you go? Did you go to the ghost zone?" Maddie is walking towards Danny who is chuckling while the female ghost teenager is next to him giggling.
"Hmm hi Maddie, Jack"
Both parents blink at the female ghost teenager knowing their names. Watching Danny roll his eyes laughing he transform back to normal. "Emberlynn" blink Maddie. Staring at Emberlynn who giggles and nods. Maddie walks to her and pokes her arm making her giggle even harder.
"Yea but my ghost form I call myself Ember" laughing she transforms back to Emberlynn. Both Jack and Maddie point at her than to Danny who nods than back to Emberlynn giggling.
"Honestly you two couldn't you wait" groan Vlad. Floating into the lab carrying Elena in his arms. He blinks to see Jack and Maddie blinking and pointing at Ember transforming back to normal while a ghost they don't know is holding Elena in his arms. Letting out a sigh he transform back to normal shocking both Jack and Maddie.
"Yea there's more to this story we don't know of" chuckle Danny.
Jack nods while Maddie does the same thing. "Coffee please and I promise I will explain everything" smile Vlad.
