Summary: Erza's pet name for Jellal…

If there was ever a girl who wouldn't become a puddle of mush and act nauseatingly sweet while in a relationship, everyone would have said it was Erza. But then again Erza was the girl who coveted pretty dresses and picnics and flower chains and eats a massive amounts of sweets that would give normal people a heart attack, and had already brought her wedding dress (and accidentally destroyed it but still!), so it really shouldn't have been a surprise that when Erza ended up in a relationship she suddenly transformed into this sickly sweet person with pet names and constant cuddles and a persistent lovelorn facial expression.

(Yes, Natsu and Gray were absolutely terrified at the change and were half convinced there was an apocalypse going on somewhere in the world.)

It shouldn't have been a surprise…..but it was. It was the biggest, mind-exploding, surprise when half the guild caught Erza and the newly pardoned Jellal were snuggling in the back of the guild building. Erza was sitting in Jellal's lap, giggling unnaturally as Jellal murmured something to her…..that had been enough to send shivers down Natsu and Gray's spine.

Erza let out another loud laugh. "Oh," she said breathlessly, "Jelly Baby."

Everyone choked at that.

Natsu and Gray's eyes bulged out of their sockets.

Wendy froze, she had been about to eat a sweet when she heard Erza say that, and suddenly found herself incapable of pushing the sweet past her lips as she stared, horrified, at the loving couple.

"JELLY BABY?!"

Erza jumped and accidentally fell out of Jellal's lap as they both turned beetroot red with embarrassment. "W-w-w-what were you doing eavesdropping on us?!" Erza stammered out furiously. "Ha-ha-haven't you heard of privacy?!"

"If you wanted privacy," Laxus grumbled, "then you should have gotten a room."

"No, seriously," Gray said disgustedly, "Jelly Baby? Jelly Baby?! That's so….revolting. What does he call you, Cupcake?"

Jellal said nothing as he stared down at the ground, his tattoo had vanished completely in the redness of his face. Gray, however, turned green as he realised he had just hit the nail on the head with that snarky retort.

"Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!" Natsu groaned childishly. "You're ruining sweets."

Erza's eye twitched furiously at that. "Don't be ridiculous!" she huffed. "Nothing can ruin sweet. Come on Jellal, let's go."

Jellal didn't protest at al as Erza grabbed him by the collar of his jacket and dragged him out of the guild building.

"Hey," Wendy said softly, "does anyone want to have my jelly babies? I don't think I can eat any more."

"Sure," Bickslow said as he snatched the sweet bag out of her hands, "I love these guys."

"Jelly Baby! Jelly Baby! Jelly Baby!"

Bickslow had just been about to lift a sweet to his lips when realisation sunk in and he looked down at his sweet. "I can't eat it," he said slowly as he lifted the sweet up and examined it carefully, "all I can see is Jellal's face on these little guys."

It's suffice to say that no one wanted a jelly baby after that.
