Chapter Four: Chapter Three: (4): Quality Time, & The Best Morning: (D):
It was a beautiful morning, when Steve woke up, He couldn't believe that he finally had the girl of his dreams with him. The Five-O Commander wasn't gonna mess this up, or take Lori for granted, He will make sure that he works hard to cherish her everyday, for the rest of their lives. He felt like Lori would've supported him through everything that he had gone through in the past. But, He was too blind to see it, or notice it. The Former Seal quickly puts on sweats, & a tank top, The Man smiled, as he smelled something great in the kitchen, & went to meet his girl.
"Hey there, Handsome, Good Morning", She said, as she sensed his presence, & they shared a kiss, & indicated for him to sit down, So they can have breakfast together. She felt like she was right at home, Cause she knew that she, & Steve belonged together, & fit well too. "You are in a great mood", Steve observes, as he steals another kiss. "Why shouldn't I be ?", Lori said, as she continues on, "I finally have my life in order, The Guy that I want, Life is good", She serves them their meal. They made small talk, til they were ready to start their day. There was a knock on the door, Steve went to answer it.
"Where is she ?, Where's our girl ?", Danny asked, as Steve led him into the kitchen. Danny smiled, as he spotted, as soon as he entered. "Danny !", She squealed with excitement, as she hugged him, as the shorter man swung her around. The Couple invited him to sit, & they caught up with each other's lives. Danny was glad to see his best friend happy, & more himself, It was the perfect way to start the day.
Danny left, explaining that he has a lot to do, & wished them a good day, as he leaves. They changed, & cleaned, & locked everything up, Then, They headed out for their outing. They were full of love, as they were holding hands. Then, Steve took her to his favorite part of the island, & they had a special picnic, where they can get quality time in together. "Steve, This is the perfect way to get together", The Ex-Profiler said happily, as they cuddled against each other.
"Yeah, I think with our caseload, We won't have any chance of being together", The Five-O Commander said, as he kissed the top of her head. They were basking in the change of their relationship, & how happy they are, It was just perfect way to be, Just like them."I think that we should have honesty between us, & Nothing comes between us too". Steve totally agreed, & expressed the same sentiment, & was rewarded with a kiss. They spent the rest of their time together, & shutting out the world.
Danny was done with his errands, & stopped by the local bakery, & got the team their breakfast. They went to the Break Room, where he set up everything, & called everyone in. He updated everyone on what is going on with Steve, & now he is happy too. Officer Tani Rey was the first one to reply, She said, "Good for them", She passed out the coffees to everyone. Officer Junior Reigns said, "Steve finally deserves some happiness", & bit into his pastry. Captain Lou Grover said, "That Man has been through hell, & I am glad that he finally found peace", & he took his own breakfast, & stood next to Danny, as they were relaxing.
"I think Steve deserves all of the happiness that is coming to him", Adam Noshimuri, Now a part of Five-O, He is proud to be part of it, & be an officer too. Sgt. Quinn Liu concluded with, "He did so much for both of us, The least that we can do". Everyone agreed with her, & decided go with the positive vibes, that comes along. Everyone just went on with their day, & don't have to worry about Steve anymore, Cause, The Man found the solution to his own problem, Which makes them all very happy indeed.
