It was taking Lori a little while to calm down, She was so pissed off at her lover for the way he was acting. She decided to let him sweat it out a bit, before she makes up with him. Plus, She was glad for the peace, & quiet at the moment, Cause, she had a lot of reports to due. Then, She will talk to Steve, when she was ready. The rest of the morning went well, as there were no interruptions.
Steve was very grateful for the help that Danny provided, He told the blond, as he took the gifts, "Anytime, You want a break, I would love to keep Grace for the night". "Buddy, You don't need to thank me, I will take you up on your offer, If I need it", as he gave him a smile. The Five-O Commander was very glad to have the family that he has at that moment, & will never take it for granted. They went their separate ways, before they head out in the field, & work the case.
Steve waited for Lori to knowledge him, & she sighed, & said, "Yes, Steven ?", He cringed, when she used that voice on him. "I just wanted to say sorry for the way that I reacted earlier", He said softly, as he presented her with his gifts. The Ex-Profiler realized that he has more to say, she nodded for him to continue, He took a deep breath, & continued on with what he wanted to say. "I never been this happy in a long time, I just didn't want to lose this feeling, or you", He choked out, as he was on the verge of tears.
"I am sorry too, Baby, I shouldn't yelled at you like that, You were just showing that you cared." Steve was relieved that she was letting him off of the hook, & forgiving him. "For now on, We will talk things out, No more keeping things in, Got it ?", She asked, as she arched an eyebrow at him. He nodded, & promised her right then, & there, They hugged, & it felt like all was right in the world. They walked out back to the others, so they can get updated on the case.
The case was that the waitresses were being forced to satisfied their male customers in other ways, & then strip them down naked, while taking their pictures, & performing sexual acts on them. They drugged them before that, when it was all done, They killed them. Tani, & Lori went undercover, & they wanted to take the bastards down. The Guys would be around in the club, So, They can keep an eye on their "girls", as the operation was gonna go down.

Things were back to normal, It was great, Lori, & Steve were being all lovey-lovey. The Team thought it was sweet, & they were glad to see the couple were happy once again, & everything was okay. It was a terrific evening for everyone, & they called it a night, & everyone was on their way home. Steve, & Lori had some making up to do, as soon as they get home.
