No one knew how it started but the sleepy, lazy, afternoon of casual drinking and brawling turned into a rather exciting one as everyone gathered to watch Natsu and Lisanna bicker over who has the best sibling bond.

"Oh come on, Natsu!" Lisanna rolled her eyes. "Mira-nee and I have only been separated for three years in our entire lives and neither of us tried to manipulate the other into killing us. We've obviously got the stronger relationship than you and Zeref."

"Well that just goes to show how selfish you are," Natsu sniffed haughtily as he crossed his arms, "Zeref was trying to save the world from his dark magic. He's a hero like that you know," he added with childish pride that made Zeref flush bright red with embarrassment…..because he really wasn't a hero. "Zeref waited four hundred years to see me again after bringing me back from the dead while also building an entire empire for us. When you 'died' Mira just cried, changed her entire personality, and did nothing but serve drinks to other people. I think our relationship is definitely stronger than yours."

"Oh for goodness sake!" Mira snapped irritably. "You barely know the first thing about your brother. Lisanna and I know everything, and I mean everything, about each other. Give it up and let Lisanna win this one."

"Never!" Natsu cried out melodramatically. "Zeref and I have the better sibling relationship and I'll prove it."

"How?" Lisanna demanded. "Going to hold a sibling contest or something?"

"…Challenge accepted," Zeref said silkily.

"Yosh!" Natsu pounded a fist in the air. "Zeref and I are going to kick your arses."

"You wish," Mira smirked, "Lisanna and I will wipe the floor with you two. Just wait and see."

"We're looking forwards to seeing you try."

"Ha! As if!"

And it was then, slowly, terrifyingly, everyone saw it…..

…..despite their many differences, their different skin tones, their different hair, the difference in personality and clothing choices, the two Dragneel brothers had the exact same, shit-eating, grin.

Great, big, wide grins that bared all their teeth and made them look boyish. Despite the fact that Natsu's was a dark green and Zeref's were almost black they also had a similar mischievous glimmer m their eyes that matched one another completely.

Everyone's jaws dropped open.

"Holy shit!" Gray yelped. "I finally see a family resemblance!"

"That's just creepy," Wakaba shuddered, "creepy as hell."

"Huh," Macao blinked, "…..no wonder I always thought that smile was pure evil."

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?!"

The sibling contest got forgotten as Natsu suddenly took offense on Zeref's behalf and a whole new brawl started out as everyone, insultingly so, were all too freaked out by what was now dubbed 'The Dragneel Grin'.

….well everyone but Mavis and Lucy, but their private discussion on how hot 'The Dragneel Grin' is was completely drowned out by the brawl.
