disclamation: I still own nothing except for this fanfiction.

Back on the grounds of the royal palace, the three other men have escorted 'Matt' back to his father and started their patrol of the grounds. Meanwhile inside the palace walls, Prince Yamato Ishida, AKA 'Matt', is now in his father's room, talking up a storm to King Hiroaki about having met Sora in the woods.

King Hiroaki Ishida: I've heard enough of this, Yamato. You're acting like you're the first fellow to ever even having met a pretty girl.

Prince Yamato 'Matt' Ishida: She wasn't a pretty girl. Granted she was a pretty girl, but there was a lot more to her than just that.

King Hiroaki Ishida: How much more? You've only met her once. How could you know anything about her?

The royal physician just continued to check King Hiroaki's vital signs as the king continued to talk to his son.

Prince Yamato 'Matt' Ishida: You told me that you knew right away when you met mother.

King Hiroaki Ishida: That's different. Your mother was a princess.

Prince Yamato 'Matt' Ishida: You would've loved her, anyway.

King Hiroaki Ishida: I would've never even seen her because it would not have been appropriate, and my father would've told me what I'm telling you, and I would've listened.

Then, the prince began to argue with the king.

Prince Yamato 'Matt' Ishida: No, you wouldn't.

King Hiroaki Ishida: Yes, I would.

Prince Yamato 'Matt' Ishida: No, you wouldn't.

King Hiroaki Ishida: I would.

Prince Yamato 'Matt' Ishida: You wouldn't.

King Hiroaki Ishida: Would.

Prince Yamato 'Matt' Ishida: Wouldn't.

King Hiroaki Ishida: You are probably right, Matt.

At first, Matt is glad his father finally seems to see it his way, but then Hiroaki becomes slightly unresponsive and then just stops altogether, and Matt grows worried about his father.

Prince Yamato 'Matt' Ishida: Well, how is he?

The royal physician suddenly has to speak up to the king about his lack of any further reaction.

Royal Physician: Your Majesty.

King Hiroaki Ishida: I don't much longer to live. I'm probably close to my final hours if it takes that long to form the words even in my mind.

The king then turns his head to face his son, the prince.

King Hiroaki Ishida (continued): I'm terribly sorry, but I must encourage you to agree to marry Princess Tara of the kingdom of Sonatania in time at least for me to see my only son's wedding before I go. Come now, son.

The king starts to rise up from his seat on the parlor's foot chair.

King Hiroaki Ishida (continued): We shall be late, and remember what I always say; punctuality…

Prince Matt joins in on what King Hiroaki is reminding him on.

Both: … is the politeness of a prince.

King Hiroaki Ishida: Yes, come now, my son.

That is when the king and the prince go on to meet with the rest of the king's staff.
