disclamation: I don't own even one of the 'Digimon' animes or mangas in any way, shape, or form. I only own this fanfiction and any other 'Digimon' fanfiction I write in the future. the only way I own 'Cinderella' is on Bluray and DVD.

Later on, at the chateau, however, the cheongsam from Sora's deceased mother in which Sakura had intended to clothe Jun for the ball has suddenly disappeared… without a trace it seems.

Sakura Motomiya: You've got some kind of nerve, 'CinderSora'. Stealing the cheongsam and the slippers from Jun.

Jun Motomiya: Where are they, 'CinderSora'? They were all in my room this morning and now they're all gone. You hid them somewhere; I just know it.

Sakura Motomiya: Where did you put the cheongsam, 'CinderSoot'?

Sora cannot believe what she is hearing from Sakura and Jun as they just accuse her of stealing her own mother's cheongsam with no solid proof, whatsoever.

Sora Takenouchi: Where are the candlesticks, and the tablecloths, and the silverware? Maybe the cheongsam and the slippers are with them.

Sakura Motomiya: You'll produce that cheongsam and those slippers, 'CinderSora'.

Sora Takenouchi: I would rather die a billion deaths than see my mother's cheongsam clothe that spoiled, selfish cow you dare have the gall to think of as your daughter.

A silence suddenly falls onto the room upon the end of Sora's new promise to her mother and father.

Sakura Motomiya: Well… perhaps, we can arrange that, yet.

Sakura and Jun then lock Sora in the chateau's food cellar. Leilani tries once again to become her mother's and her sister's conscience. She always tries to become their conscience, something she seems to have been doing everyday ever since arriving to the chateau…

Leilani Motomiya: Under the light of things, maybe you might wish to consider a slightly less… confining... and gruesome… alternative.

… as per usual, however, Sakura and Jun listen to Leilani not.

Sakura Motomiya: Don't even try to bring us over to your weakness, Leilani.

Jun Motomiya: We better go into town first thing tomorrow, anyway, Leilani. But, don't get ideas, either. You're still only going for the food.

Leilani decides that she is but an inch closer to simply giving up on trying any further to redeem her mother and sister.
