Suddenly, Sora hears Clarice, one of the only remaining servants, call out to her.
Clarice: Sora, my lady, come and see. It's back. All of it has come back.
Sora, Sakura, and Jun step out onto the front of the chateau to see that everything has, indeed, returned. It has been returned to them, but it's been done by the very same man who can easily be thought of as shrewd in his work who does business with Sakura Motomiya to pay off her debts.
Sakura Motomiya: Ah, Lord Piedmon. Right on time, as to be expected of you.
Lord Piedmon: It's all here, m'lady, right down to the very last candlestick.
Sora quickly sees what is going on between Lord Piedmon and her stepmother and stepsister, Jun.
Sora Takenouchi: My father's books, my mother's tapestries and paintings. You sold them to him?
Jun Motomiya: Yeah, we did, and now they've come back.
Sakura Motomiya: We couldn't very well look like paupers when the king arrives.
Sora seems to understand this at first…
Sora Takenouchi: Thank you, milord. This means the world to us all.
Though, Lord Piedmon actually turns out to have come to get something in return for his services to Sakura and Jun, however.
Lord Piedmon: I'm a businessman, Sora. I'm no philanthropist.
Sora's only response to his words, however, come through her lips as…
Sora Takenouchi: I don't understand.
Then, Sakura starts to explain her plans to Sora.
Jun Motomiya: We really couldn't have you around to distract the prince, 'CinderSora'.
Lord Piedmon: Lady Sakura and I had come to an arrangement.
Then, Sakura points out at the items from Haruhiko and Toshiko's life and towards Sora.
Sakura Motomiya: You for all of this.
Of course, Jun also had her own input on the idea.
Jun Motomiya: Although, mother and I might just very well be getting the better end of the bargain she made with Lord Piedmon.
That was when Lord Piedmon's servants grab onto Sora and begin dragging her away.
Sora Takenouchi: NO! NO!
Sora tries to protest against them…
Gwendolyn: Miss Sora!
Lawrence: Miss Sora!
Clarice: Miss Sora!
The remaining servants of the house also attempt to rescue her, but Lord Piedmon's other servants push them away.
