disclamation: I don't own any one of the 'Digimon' series in any way, shape, or form. I am but a humble fanfiction blogger and author of other types of stories, specifically on WattPad. the only way, shape, or form in which I truly own 'Cinderella' is on Blu-ray and DVD.
With Prince Matt Ishida having given up on any fantasies of marrying for love, he is currently being wed to Princess Tara. While all of his other friends and King Hiroaki Ishida are sad that their prince has given up on love forever, Grand Duke Myotismon is overjoyed to finally see the prince marry for the sake of expanding their tiny kingdom.
Of course, Prince Matt Ishida is feels quite hollow inside about the whole idea, but he has given up on romance.
Then at the altar for one reason or another, Princess Tara, who they had all expected would be smiling about her wedding to Prince Matt, is instead sobbing up a monsoon of tears. First, they are just normal sobs, then come the wailing sobs, then the princess cries the shrieking kind of sobs, then she starts to cry the moaning kind of sobs, and finally she begins to cry panting sobs about what is supposed to be the happiest day of her life. Just what is Princess Tara even crying about?
That is when Prince Matt Ishida laughs at her sobbing for one reason or another. Once he stops laughing at her, he looks at her long enough to lift her bridal veil from her face, but the princess only tries to protest.
Princess Tara: No, please. No, please. Prince Yamato, please, I don't want to marry for these conditions. I am in love with someone else. Please spare me of our un_
But Prince Matt Ishida interrupts her if only to tell Princess Tara…
Prince Yamato 'Matt' Ishida: Princess, Princess, Princess! I know just how you feel.
Then, Prince Matt kisses Princess Tara on the cheek before letting her leave to reunite with her royal guard captain lover, Johnny Yong.
Meanwhile back on his own throne, King Hiroaki Ishida had his own input to give on the issue with this wedding…
King Hiroaki Ishida: And I thought I had problems with Matt. Well at least, if my son accepts this second chance to believe in love, I can rest easily.
Then, King Hiroaki Ishida chuckles up a perfect storm of laughter at the scene which had just now occurred for his own son.
It is not long before Captain Wisemon and his favorite lieutenant, Jim Kido, join in on the king's chuckle fest. So do Izzy Izumi, the prince's tutor, the royal physician and his apprentice, Joe Kido, Lieutenant Jim's younger brother, Tai Kamiya, the prince's number one friend, and Meiko Mochizuki, Tai's girlfriend.
Everyone from King Hiroaki's cabinet laughs along with the king and his son, Prince Matt, expect for Grand Duke Myotismon, who thinks a royal wedding would have been the only way to help the kingdom.
A/N: yet another rather short chapter, but it's so dang funny.
