(AN) It has been forever since I last posted, Jesus. Sorry about how late this is but here's a new chapter. I tried to make it a little lengthier since it's been so long. I hope you all enjoy it!

dbss: We all know that he can keep a secret to the grave if he wanted to... Shit I really haven't posted in a year, it's already the holidays all over again! Happy holidays!

Catbeast: I have trouble writing Itachi POV scenes because I try to keep him as in character as possible, so thanks for the compliment to boost my self confidence! And nothing proves you're a good brother better than trying to set up your other siblings... that came out weird. And finally thanks for your last compliment, because I really do want Haruka to feel more real, and I feel like we can all relate to trying to understand ourselves through others.

XenoLucifer: HAHAHAHA! Did you really click on my story just to say that? Hahaha!

'And set.' He put clicked his phone off and put it down on his bedside dresser after setting up his alarm for tomorrow. Then, he went back to drying off his wet hair with a towel, and tried to get his thoughts together. Tomorrow they were going to the waterpark for Ino's-weird-plan, and he mainly agreed to go because Haru was going. He wanted to be there because he knew her wearing a swimsuit would attract some trouble if there aren't enough boys there.

Sasuke knew that Haru could handle herself better than most girls-better than most people-but he didn't want her to have to worry about protecting herself. It's been a while since she went out with friends-not counting that shopping trip-and just enjoyed herself. So, he'll take care of the creeps while she tries to have some fun. 'Besides…' His hair was finished drying, so he got up to go and put the towel back in the restroom. 'She's not the only one that's going to be there…' There were plenty of other people that were going, and plenty of girls, but there was one black haired girl he was thinking of specifically…

Of course, he was going to do whatever it took to make sure pervs don't go near Hinata, but that wasn't the only thing concerning him. They were childhood friends that have gone to the beach and water park plenty of times in the past that he's more-or-less used to seeing her wearing swimsuits, but that didn't him less uneasy… He sighed as he hung up the towel in the restroom, and he turned around to head down stairs. But, he was caught in the reflection in the mirror. It was still slightly foggy from his shower, but the red on his face was still clear enough to see in the impared glass…

His hand went up to his face-as though he were trying to hide it-and he looked away from the mirror. 'It's just because of all the steam here.' He tried to tell himself.

. . . . . . . . . . . .

Sasuke could smell the food coming from the kitchen, and instinctively walked towards it. Upon walking in, he could tell it was hamburger meat for dinner today. And, of course, it was Itachi that was making it-since their mother was off with their father again.

"Need my help with anything?"

Itachi looked over to him and gave him a small smile. "Thanks, but every things about done. You can just go and sit down."

Sasuke just gave him a quick nod and headed over to the dining room… Once he walked in he felt like he was seeing something strange. Haru looked up at him as she put down the last plate, and she noticed a certain look on his face because she then narrowed her eyes down. "When are you going to stop looking at me like that?"

He knew it was fair for her to be irritated with him. Since Itachi came back home, Haru was always skipping out on dinner and just eating in her room. That was what Sasuke grew to think of as normal, but for a while now she's been eating with the rest of the family for dinner. It made their mother happy to see Haru eating with them, and it especially made Itachi happy. Sauke was pretty happy too-she is his sister-but it was weird to see. To watch her have the self control to sit and eat with everyone, meaning Itachi. What was especially weird was that he knew that while he was upstairs-calming down his nerves-she was helping their brother make dinner.

Frankly, he wasn't sure what's gotten into her, and all he got when he asked her is 'I don't really know either.' He just sat down-still feeling her annoyed eyes on him. "When it stops being weird." Was all he could think to say.

Haru didn't look like she knew what to say either, and she just sat down in her own seat. All the side dishes were already on the table, so they were both just patiently waiting for Itachi to walk out with the finished meat. Once he did, Sasuke noticed Haru stiffen up just a bit in her seat, and that she didn't look directly at Itachi-only at the food he was carrying in.

With that, they all had a fairly normal dinner, and that's what made Sasuke feel weird.

. . . . . . . . . . . .

'Maybe I should get some sleeping medicine.' Haruka thought to herself as she turned over for the fifth time that night. Every now and again she would have nights where she couldn't sleep well, but it's been getting especially worse for a while now. It had nothing to do with the fact that she was going to a water park tomorrow with her friends-thought she was a little excited for that-it was because of dinner. It was as normal as dinner usually was in this house, only she didn't talk as much. It was mostly her brothers that did most of the little chatting, and she only really asked Sasuke to pass her things.

However… it's just been ages since they all ate together, and it was ever glance and every movement that kept relaying over and over in her head. It was stuff like this that could drive her crazy… With a sigh, she just tried to ignore all these emotions and leave it be.

For the life of her, she couldn't really put into words why she started eating dinner at the table again, or even why she started helping him make dinner… She just knew… there was a part of her that looked forward to it…

. . . . . . . . . . . .

"Are you sure you both have everything?"

"Don't worry, I double checked both our bags before we left." As she said this, Haruka was even making sure her phone was securely in a plastic bag. She smiled back up to her mother once she was done.

Her mother smiled in that way mothers do, happy but with just a hint of worry. "Just make sure the both stay close to each other."

"The park isn't that big Oka-san." At least she was pretty sure it wasn't.

Her mother nodded in agreement, but still looked concerned. "I know, but I'm mostly worried about-"

"Naruto said he's already inside." Sasuke cut up, handing his phone back to Haruka so that she could put it back in a plastic bag. "I told him to stay put and that we'd meet him by the changing rooms. You ready to go?"

Haruka gave him a small nod, and looked back to her mother with a smile. "Bye, Oka-san." Haruka gave him mother's hand a small squeeze before she started walking away.

"See you at home." Sasuke said with a wave and a smile-the kind he only gave their mother.

Their mother smiles back as she started climbing back into the car. "Have fun you two."

With that, Haruka and Sasuke made their way towards the entrance. The cold weather made it that they both had to wear jackets and long sleeves, so it was weird to Haruka knowing she'd soon be changing into a swimsuit. Regardless, they went up to the entrance and paid their fees. The first thing you see when you enter is just a lobby-ish room that tells you where the bathroom, changing room, and gift shop are. 'Guess they want to make sure everyone gets everything together before they go in.' Haruka thought to herself.

Wordlessly, they both made their way towards the changing rooms, and standing right outside of it were three familiar faces. The first to say anything, of course, was their childhood knucklehead. "Hey there you two are!" He said with that classic grin on his face. "Me and Hinata just got here, we were just waiting for the both of you!"

Naruto's excitement was a little annoying at times, but right now Haruka found it more endearing than anything. "Thanks for waiting. Hi Hinata-chan, Haruno-san."

Both girls greeted her back. "I was just waiting out here to show you guys were Ino set everything up." Was Sakura's explanation, but Haruka could see her glancing over at Sasuke with excitement.

'Well, she's a nice girl, so I don't mind.' She thought to herself. "So the rest are already inside?"

"Yeah, you were the only ones left."

"Are we going to getting going then?" Sasuke sounded a little impatient.

"Then you boys go ahead, we'll meet you on the other side." Haruka waved to the two of them as she walked into the girls' changing room, Hinata and Sakura followed suit.

. . . . . . . . . . . .

It didn't take long for them to get dressed, they were just changing into swimming trunks after all, so Naruto and Sasuke both waited at the other end of the changing room for the girls. Naruto was going off about how cool some of the slides looked, and this meant Sasuke had to remind him they couldn't leave yet. The water park certainly looked bigger inside than it did out. It had about four big slides, two small ones for kids, and one big pool just for swimming laps. There was also a snack bar right next to where they were standing. Of course, over all of it, there was a big dome roof over everything-keeping the weather from coming inside.

There were fewer people there than there would be in the summer either way, but it was certainly warm enough inside. The only thing Sasuke could complain about was the slight sting in his eyes from all the chlorine in the air… or that Naruto was bugging him to go on a slide with him.

"Come on Sasuke, it's right there, and there's no one in line yet! We'll be back before the girls come out."

Sasuke felt a vein pop. "For the last time, just wait a minute, they're almost done." There's no way he was going to leave his sister or Hinata for a moment until they reached the group.

"You already said that! How do you even know they're almost done?" Naruto kept whining but at least he sat back down on the floor.

"Because they're not going to take that long. Now stop complaining already."

"How are you guys already fighting?" Sasuke looked over and saw Haru giving them a raised brow. "We weren't even in there for that long."

Sasuke narrowed his eyes at the question. "Tell that to this idiot, he's the one that can't sit still for two minutes."

"Hey! Who are you calling an idiot?" Said idiot asked.

"Clearly you Naruto!" Sakura came in and knocked Naruto over the head. "We could all hear your whining from inside.

"Ow! Hey why's everyone ganging up on me?" He pleaded.

Then, Hinata stepped in, and Sasuke instinctively glanced away. "A-Are you ok Naruto-kun?"

"Yeah, thanks for worrying… Wow, you guys all look great!"

At that, Sasuke actually took a good look. For the life of him, he couldn't remember there ever being a time that Hinata wore anything but a one piece, and today was no different. She was wearing a plain orange one piece, and this one was new. It helped his sanity that she didn't show off a lot of skin but… for her to make something so plain look nice hurt something else in him. It didn't hurt nearly as much than to see her blush at the compliment though.

They all exchanged compliments and small talk to each other in front of him, but he mostly blanked it out. Then, he felt a hand on his arm, and he looked down to see the most familiar face in his world. Haru gave him a small pity smile before looking back to the other three. "Well, where to Haruno-san?"

At that Sakura snapped out of whatever was making her angry at Naruto again, and she began to lead the way. "It's just behind the big green slide."

As they were walking, Sasuke actually looked down at what Haru was wearing. Her hair was up in a bun, and she was wearing a dark purple bikini and a white-laced cover up dress. She must have noticed Sasuke making a face at her because she looked up at him slightly annoyed. "What?"

"What's the point of wearing a see through cover up? You can still see what you're wearing."

Her brows narrowed at the comment. "It's comfortable, that's why."

"It's useless at that point."

"Then what's the point of you wearing a hoodie? There's a heater on in here."

His brows narrowed at that comment since he had no way to come back to it. Afterall, he was only wearing his white hoodie it because it was comfortable.

He just looked back ahead and noticed Sakura looking over, but once her eyes met his she looked back ahead. He looked over her and saw she just wearing a plain red bikini, and he could only have one thought. 'At least Hinata isn't wearing something like that. There'd be too many eyes on her then.'

They didn't have to hear Sakura tell them where to go because they heard a voice yell from the distance. "Hey guys, we're right over here! Hurry up!" Ino shouted as she waved her hands up. Naruto pretty much dashed over, and Sakura tried yelling at him not to run. With that, Sasuke felt like this was going to be annoying.

. . . . . . . . . . . .

For the most part, everything was pretty fun, at least it was to Haruka. Ino quickly introduced everyone to Sai-who didn't react much when Ino stuck very close to him. He seemed about at natural as he did back in the library-as in not at all-but Haruka didn't think he was a particularly bad person. Naruto and Sasuke, however didn't seem too fond of him. Naruto didn't like Sai before this, but Sasuke probably just didn't like her because he tried to call Hinata "Hina-chan." Personally, Haruka thought he seemed pretty harmless, but Sasuke took offence to that.

Regardless, as soon as introductions were out of the way, Naruto dragged both Sasuke and herself to go on the first slide he saw-after she took off her cover up. Ino was off playing in the water with Hinata and Sakura, and Sai was… somewhere…

Apparently Tenten, Choji, Kiba and Shino couldn't make it, but Shikamaru came… only to be asleep on the benches with their stuff… Regardless, Haruka had fun. Though she was forced for the most part, the water slides with Naruto were fun, she played some games in the water with the girls, and she even had fun racing Sasuke and Sai up and down the pool-Sai looked more comfortable doing things rather than saying things.

In short… it's been a while since she's laughed this much. It was fun, most of it. Naruto got a cramp, Sasuke was a little moody when looking at the other park members, and Ino was overly blunt with her passes at Sai-since he wasn't catching the hint. Regardless, she enjoyed what she could.

At the moment she was already feeling drained, and she went back to the chairs they were occupying. After she put back on her cover up she just sat down with a sigh. "Tired out already?" She nearly jumped at the sound of a voice, and remember who'd been sitting her all day. She looked over and watched Shikamaru wake up from the dead with a yawn. "That's why this place is such a drag."

Haruka just gave him a tired smile. "It can't be that bad if you're still here."

"If I tried to leave too early Ino would be on my ass about it later, and that's an even bigger drag."

Haruka rolled her eyes at him-knowing that was only half true. "If that's your excuse." She knew Shikamaru enjoyed being with everyone as much as she did.

A comfortable silence took over between them and Haruka looked over at everyone playing in the water. It was fun to be with them, but she also just enjoyed watching everyone from the sidelines for a bit-maybe that's why Sasuke sometimes tells her she's like an old lady. It was moments like these that she feels most at ease… 'I wonder if…' She stopped her thoughts right there and felt her forehead crease.

Taking a deep breath, she looked up at the sky and saw nothing but a dome. It was painted blue in order to look more like the sky outside, but it was very clearly fake. It was nothing but a mask, but people learned to just accept it for the fake it is…

"I'm going to go grab something from the snack bar." She got up and quickly fixed the hem of her skirt. "Do you want anything?" She pointed the question to Shikamaru.

For a moment she thought he fell back asleep-since his eyes were closed-but he half opened one lid to look up at her. "I'm good for now."

"Alright then-"

"Wait," she paused and looked back at him, "I have something I've been meaning to ask you." The sudden seriousness of his tone caught her off guard, and she looked at him confused. He slowly sat up right and looked up at her in the eyes. Then, he pointed at her torso. "What's the point of wearing a see through cover-up?"

. . . . . . . . . . . .

'Those two are too alike in their way of thinking sometimes…' Haruka thought to herself, a little exhausted. She looked down at her cover up. 'Does it really look that weird?'

She went back to looking over the menu to think if there was anything else she wanted, she wanted to make sure before she got in line. Then, she felt a hand on her shoulder, and her first instinct was to slap it away. She didn't recognize that hand. "Hey hey no need to come off so hostile off the bat." Said an unfamiliar voice.

Looking up she saw there were two guys she's never met before, and they grinned down at her. She could immediately tell the intent of them both and she narrowed her eyes. "There's also no need to put your hands on a stranger." She shot back coldly. Unfortunately, she was used to boys like this-especially when she was wearing stuff like this-and she knew shooting them down fast was the easiest thing to do.

"And I'm sorry for that, my fault I swear. But I couldn't think of any other way to catch the attention of someone as pretty as you."

'Flattery will get you nowhere.' "Well then next time think of something else." She tried just walking to the back of the line but they were persistent and followed her.

"Come on, we just wanted to chat a bit, is that so bad?"

'That's not all you want, I'm sure.' She tried to just ignore them.

"You come here often? If I knew someone as pretty as you came here we'dve come here more often."

"Got any friends with you, or are you alone? 'Cause we can keep you company if you are."

"Hey, ignoring us is pretty rude."

'What's rude is not catching the hint.' She held back the urge to roll her eyes-giving them any reaction is all they want. She could even tell the people around her didn't notice this scene over all their chattering.

"What are you one of those uptight types? Cause that's pretty bitchy."

"Hey, least you can do is just acknowledge us like people-"

"Why don't you boys just knock it off." A new voice spoke up.

"We aren't doing anything wrong."

"Yeah, mind your own business old man."

"It's clear you are doing something wrong if she doesn't want to talk to either of you idiots, now scram." Came another voice.

Haruka finally looked up and saw the two men that came in to defend her, and she was surprised to recognize them.

The boys that were harassing her seemed more intimidated by the second man as they both took a step back. As the boys grumbled to themselves, they finally stocked away.

The first man started to looked down at Haruka-his eyes leaving the backs of those boys. "Are you ok- H-Haru-chan?" His wide eyes surpassed Haruka's.

And at the sound of her name, the other man finally looked down at her with a surprised look to match his partner's. "Wait, what are you-?"

"Haru!" She looked behind to two men and saw Sasuke and Naruto running over to her-Sasuke being the one that shouted. "If you were leaving you could have at least told us-" Sasuke's eyes snapped over at the second man that showed up to Haruka's aid and he looked at him confused. "Kakashi-sensei?"

Naruto, instead, was more intrigued by the first man. "What are you doing here, Iruka-sensei?"

Haruka decided to leave the four of them to that as the line began to move forward. 'Maybe I should get them something…' She thought, feeling a little guilty as she realized what had happened.

"Hey, wanna come join us Iruka-sensei?" Naruto suggested with an excitement she knew Iruka wouldn't be able to turn down.

'...Maybe I'll buy them the expensive stuff.'

. . . . . . . . . . . .

Haruka eventually found herself back in the water, but this time she was borrowing Sakura's tube float and was just peacefully floating around the group as they splashed around and waited for others to come down the slide. Naruto was currently dragging Iruka to the top of a very twisty slide. Haruka sighed as she looked over at Kakashi as he was sitting alone at a set of chairs that had his and Iruka's stuff, and it was fairly close to their spot. Her guilt swelled at the sight.

With a sigh, she paddled a little to the side and saw Ino talking to Sai enthusiastically, and Sai actually looked to be giving a less fake smile from before. She looked over the other side and saw Hinata happily greeting Naruto and Iruka as they came out of the slide. Feeling a little out of place, Haruka just decided to leave the pool for a bit.

She spotted Sakura and was about to go and return her tube float, but saw her very animated as she was talking with Sasuke. Haruka was aware that Sasuke wasn't very interested, but she still felt it was best to leave them alone-for Sakura's sake. So, she gently nudged the floaty in Ino's direction, and she felt relieved when the blonde saw it and grabbed it. Turning away, she thought she could go and find Shikamaru to at least talk to-or stare off into space with.

However, when she got over to their spot-that should have just been called Shikamaru's spot-he was surprisingly not even there. She looked around for a good while wondering if he went off to the bathroom, and when she finally spotted him she was rendered almost speechless. He was talking-unenthusiastically-with a blonde haired girl that Haruka had never seen before in her life. 'Today is certainly something.' She thought to herself as she put back on her cover over.

Then, she looked back over to her lonely teacher, who currently looked the same way that he did not too long ago in class. The guilt too much to handle now, she slowly walked over to the man with the gloomy aura looming over him. When she finally got over to him she moved over some things in order to sit in the chair next to him, but she still had to clear her throat in order to catch his attention. He looked over at her, and his glazed over eyes seemed to clear up a bit as he looked at her. "Just because we're outside of school doesn't mean you can hit on your teacher Hime-sama."

Haruka was annoyed by that comment for a number of reasons, but tried to not get too mad as his bitter mood was partially her fault. "Sensei, I can report you just for suggesting that." But she still got a little snippy with him. Then, took in a deep breath and just say it. "I actually came over here to apologize, though it should be those boys from earlier who should apologize-or really Naruto. I just feel like a part of the domino effect, so I'd like to say I'm sorry."

Kakashi just looked at her confused as she spoke. "What are you talking about Hime-sama?"

Haruka felt a vein pop as she tried to smile politely. "Can you please stop calling me that so that I can say this properly?" Once again, she cleared her throat before she spoke. "I just wanted to say that I'm sorry." She looked around quickly to make sure no one could hear, and then she looked at him with sincerely sorry eyes. "I'm sorry that we ruined your date."

She didn't know what she was expecting, but it did take her off guard that Kakashi all but jumped up at the comment. He then looked very pale and very sweaty as he very obviously tried not to look Haruka in the eyes. "Wh-Why would you go and make such a joke?"

Partially pitying the man-that did help her earlier-Haruka couldn't really think to do anything for a moment other than to just stare at him… "I've never seen you this uneasy before Sensei." Was all she could say.

After a moment, he just sighed in defeat as he just looked down at the floor. "...When did you figure it out?"

This made Haruka feel even more guilty, and she looked off to the side. "Most of us have kind of figured it out."

"Most of you?" Kakashi asked in disbelief.

Haruka looked back at him with her hands up. "Well it's mostly a joke, and the only ones that took it seriously were Sasuke and I… Also, Shikamaru, but that's because you can't hide things from him very well." This information seemed to calm down Kakashi somewhat, but not a lot. He still looked a little stressed from being told that his students have at least noticed something was off with them. "To be fair, you two really ought to have hid it a little better." When Kakashi gave her a look that said 'WE DID' she just continued. "You get very clingy with him when he visits the school, and there's really no reason for an elementary teacher to be visiting a high school as often as he does."

With that, Kakashi looked down in even more defeat than when he was just sitting here alone. Haruka began to feel as though she made it worse rather than better. After a moment of awkward silence, Kakashi finally looked over at his student, and she gave him her full attention out of pity. "You seem to be handling this well."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, you just admitted to knowing that your teacher is currently dating another man, but your treating this as though it's normal." He didn't say it as a way to insult his relationship with Iruka, nothing in his tone showed regret, but he simply seemed impressed by her. She didn't think she deserved this indirect compliment.

She looked over to the pool and watched some of them group around Iruka with smiles on their faces, and he smiled back in that way they remembered when they were in elementary school. "Well I do respect Iruka-sensei too much to judge his choice in partner."

"Isn't that nice of you." His tone was sarcastic since he knew full well she was slightly jabbing at the teacher that was randomly late, inconsistent with how seriously he took his job, and even read dirty books in the middle of class.

Haruka chuckled at the reaction. "We all have a soft spot for him." Everyone could agree that Iruka still has a place in their lives.

"Yeah…" Was all Kakashi said after a while.

Haruka stared off into space for a little longer, and as she did her thoughts began to run around. Then, she remembered a certain thought she had earlier… She leaned back more into her chair and began to fidget with the hem of her skirt. "...Hey, can I ask you something, Sensei?"

"Are you sure you don't want to ask the Sensei you respect too much?" He asked with a smile, but that smile did not reach his eyes.

Haruka just returned the favor. "Sensei, does Iruka know what kind of books you normally read when you give us self study?"

To that Kakashi lost the fake smile and just looked ahead. "Sensei will help answer any of your questions."

Haruka thought over carefully how to say this. "...When you realized you liked Iruka-sensei, did you try to tell him right away?"

There was a silence that took over, and she assumed it was Kakashi thinking over the question. "No, I didn't think to tell him until some time after." He said it so uncharacteristically wistful.

Turning over that information in her head, Haruka tried to think of her next question. "Then, what did you do before that?"

"I spent time with him as I normally did."

That answer hit something in her… "But… But how could you?" She felt her hands curls around the hem of her skirt. "I mean… You knew how the world would think of your feelings… so then how could you manage to…" Her hands began to tremble and she resented it. "Didn't it hurt-?"

"It stung worse than anything else I've ever felt." He cut her off, and she looked over at him. He was still looking off into the distance. "It hurt to be near him, to talk to him, and to think about him. I felt like an awful person for spending time with him while he stayed ignorant." Haruka's mind raced over this, especially because there was a place in her heart that knew this feeling he was describing. But, there was something about the way he said it that made her a little jealous. He spoke about these feelings as though they were long gone. "...But, I kept hanging around him anyways. It hurt but I wanted those moments when it didn't. No matter how much it hurt to be around him I still wanted to spend time with him because it made me happy to just enjoy his company. I forced myself into his life because I wanted to see him no matter how much it hurt to."

Haruka stared down at her hands-that were still latched onto the hem of her skirt-and she felt something swell in her. It hurt, and she didn't like the way it felt. The pain she could understand, but that "happiness" he was talking about a foriegn idea to her. The fact that he was able to take any joy out of that made her feel… jealous. "Sounds more like you're a masochist." There was a bitterness behind her words.

Kakashi laughed. "That wasn't the case. It's not that I enjoyed the pain of it all. It's because I was too selfish."

'That's… something I didn't expect.' Haruka looked up at her teacher, but his eyes were still off in the distant. "Selfish?"

"Very. I knew that my feelings were 'unrequited' at the time, and I knew that if we started a relationship it would certainly turn heads-and not in a good way. But… I couldn't leave him alone. I knew my situation, and I knew it was a little cruel to try latching onto his side while he remained ignorant, but I couldn't stop myself from going back to him over and over. At one point, I figured the universe was playing a sick joke on me by having me fall into an 'unorthodox' love, so I deserved a right to monopolize him just a little bit."

...For a moment Haruka think she forgot to breath. That was certainly a speech she wasn't expecting. After a moment of looking at him dumbfounded, she finally narrowed her eyes a bit at him. "Sensei, that makes you sound like scum."

He laughed once again. "Maybe, but it's the way that I am. I can't cope without being at least a little bit selfish." Just when Haruka was ready to throw another comment at him, Kakashi finally looked over at her, and she hated the look he gave her. He was looking at her as though he knew exactly what she was thinking, and he figured out why she was asking this in the first place. "Something tells me you might work a similar way."

Her eyes widened at that, and she felt as though she was struck by something.

However, he just kept looking up at her as though he knew everything and she hated that the most. "I was only making a suggestion. There are just some people that when they try to hold in all the pain and avoid the rest it'll drive them mad. For some it's better to indulge a little to ease the heartache, even if it brings more pain you can try masking it away bit by bit with the pleasant feelings you gain. There's nothing wrong with wanting to make things hurt a little less."

(AN) I wanted to make this clear real quick. I do not believe that homosexuality is either wrong or weird (I mean I ship KakaIru) but when Kakashi described their relationship as "unorthodox" he meant in Japan. As bad as it is, homosexuality is still discriminated against in Japan, and same sex marriage isn't even legal there. On a side note, does anyone else like Chikadoh? ^^
