disclamation: I don't own even one of the 'Digimon' series in any way, shape, or form. I'm but a humble fanfiction blogger and author of other types of stories on the Internet, specifically on story-related websites like WattPad. the only way in which I truly own any adaptation of 'Cinderella' whatsoever is on Blu-ray and/ or DVD.

Meanwhile at Lord Piedmon's house, Sora is being harassed further against her will by the insidious Lord Piedmon, himself. At the moment, however, there is a knock on Lord Piedmon's front door.

Lord Hiram Piedmon: Enter.

Sora comes in carrying Lord Piedmon's swords while she is in chains around her hands and her feet.

Lord Hiram Piedmon (continued): Oh, I do so hate to see you in irons, my dear. I'd remove them if you would just promise not to run away from me again.

Sora sets Lord Piedmon's swords down.

Sora Takenouchi: I have no reason to stay.

Lord Hiram Piedmon: On the contrary, my dear, you belong to me, now, which should be plenty reason for you to stay.

Sora Takenouchi: I belong to no one, least of all to you.

Lord Hiram Piedmon: Oh, I do wish that you would reconsider my offer.

Sora Takenouchi: I would rather rot.

Lord Hiram Piedmon: I had a horse once that was just like you, magnificent creature, stubborn as you are now, willful to a fault. It, too, just needed to be broken.

Meanwhile, Prince Matt Ishida, Captain Wisemon, Lieutenant Jim Kido, and Tai Kamiya are rushing down the path to Lord Piedmon's home.

Back at Lord Piedmon's house, the retched lord is sniffing at Sora's hair, inhaling at it like a beast ready to pounce on its prey.

Sora Takenouchi: You will do well to maintain your distance from me, sir.

Lord Hiram Piedmon: Oh, but you didn't say please, my dear.

Sora then unsheathes a dagger from Lord Hiram Piedmon's belt and holds it up to his chin.

Sora Takenouchi: Please.

Lord Hiram Piedmon: I could hang you for this.

Sora Takenouchi: Not if you're dead, yourself.

Lord Hiram Piedmon: I do so love your spirit.

Then, Lord Piedmon tries to make a pass at Sora, but she stops him by slicing his cheek with the sword she took from his belt. Lord Piedmon groans at receiving a cut to the cheek, while Sora helps herself to grab a second sword from the collection which she had brought to him.

Sora Takenouchi: I studied fencing while my parents were alive, sir. I continued to study it well after the both of them had died, too.

Lord Piedmon tries not to give into his fear of this girl, but it is to no avail.

Sora Takenouchi (continued): Now, hand me that key or I swear on their tombstones that I will slit you from naval to nose.

Meanwhile, Prince Matt Ishida has finally arrived at Lord Piedmon's house with Captain Wisemon, Lieutenant Jim Kido, and Tai Kamiya in tow.

Back inside the house with Sora and the lord, Hiram Piedmon hands Sora the key to her own chains in fear of what she might try next otherwise.

Lord Hiram Piedmon: Your freedom, my lady.

Then, Sora rushes out of the castle to see that the prince and his friends from the palace have come.
