Ch. 3: Janguru no saisho no toshi
About four years have passed, life in the jungle, which is situated in Madagascar, is business as usual, where animals thrived as they do their usual thing, like drinking, eating, and hunting for food, but then the scene shows that Izuku is adjusting life at the jungle and seemed to be doing well at such a young age.
He is living like any of the wild animals, and despite being human, he somewhat played a good role in maintaining the balance in the animal kingdom, and a brief flashback shows that after turning four years old (Izuku is unaware of his own birthday due to being in the company of animals while his birth parents died in the plane explosion), his Quirk manifested, and through instinct he is able to learn much of it and make use of the Quirk, which appeared to be identical to that of All Might.
There he uses his Quirk to repulse and chase away threats, such as human game hunters and poachers, while at the same time indirectly instill fear on the predators, such as hyenas and wild dogs as they were attempting to eat the apes who are caring for Izuku.
There the hyenas, who are sporting BANDAGES all over their bodies, are having a meeting as they find Izuku a threat and a hindrance to getting access to their FOOD CHAIN on a daily basis and are now desperate in finding a way to get Izuku out of the way.
"This can't go on forever!"
"I agree!"
"I'm hungry…"
"Will you be serious for once?"
"That…boy-ape must be eliminated!"
"Yeah…he's a hindrance to us…"
"I'm hungry…"
"Will you shut up already?"
As the four lead hyenas tried to rally their fellow hyenas, the rest of the pack were hesitant and having doubts and second thoughts, as they too are covered in bandages, as they were terrified towards Izuku after he dealt them with his Quirk, and the rest of the pack are now fearful towards Izuku.
"Um…"
"I don't know…"
"I think I'll pass…"
"Abstain…"
"I'm sick…"
"I'm hungry…"
"I have a meeting…"
"Can I go home now…?"
Likewise, a pack of wild dogs are having an emergency meeting as they too are COVERED IN BANDAGES, as Izuku also dealt with them using his Quirk, and the four lead wild dogs are trying to come up with ways to get Izuku out of the way so that the rest of their pack can get food was much as they want without worrying, yet they couldn't agree on which tactics they should use.
"I say we charge!"
"We kill that boy-ape!"
"Eat him alive!"
"Rip him apart!"
"No way!"
"You do it!"
"You got a better idea?"
"Truth or consequences…?"
Eventually they came to an agreement in which they should increase their numbers and try to rip Izuku apart when he is alone, and there they try to rally with the rest of the pack, only to stare in disbelief as the rest of the pack appeared to be unmotivated, as they too are covered in bandages and even CASTS.
"Um…"
"I don't know…"
"I think I'll pass…"
"Abstain…"
"I'm sick…"
"I'm hungry…"
"I have a meeting…"
"Can I go home now…?"
However, a female wild animal approached the wild dogs and said that she overheard the conversation and became intrigued, saying that she would like to know more about this HINDRANCE as she finds it challenging, and offered to help solve their problems if that is okay with the pack, saying that she loves a good challenge.
The entrant, which is a leopard, offered to assist the wild dogs in which she would take on Izuku whilst the pack would make their hunt, and the pack appeared to be enticed by the leopard's offer of assistance. The leopard is identified as Sabor and she said that she will be the one to kill off Izuku. The leader of the pack smiled and said that he will lead Sabor to where Izuku is hiding but cautions her as he said that Izuku is INCREDIBLY STRONG.
"Oh?"
"I'm serious! That boy-ape is super strong!"
"Really…?"
"Really! You saw our pack! They're covered in bandages and casts!"
"Interesting. I will take this challenge."
"You sure…?"
"I do."
"…"
The rest of the pack appeared to be excited and began to rally behind Sabor, and they cheered her on, saying that she will be their HERO and urged her to take out Izuku for good so that they would have a HEALTHY food chain for the pack of wild dogs.
"Go for it!"
"Go for it!"
"Go for it!"
"Go for it!"

As this developed, two hyenas who happened to pass by, overheard the conversation, and they too appeared to be enticed in acquiring Sabor's services as they feel that the hyena pack would benefit if Sabor could get rid of Izuku for good, and the two hyenas agreed to try approaching Sabor privately and give her an offer that would entice her to accept.
As the two hyenas are planning their next move, the pack of wild dogs are heard cheering on Sabor to accept the challenge and kill Izuku at once.
"Go for it!"
"Go for it!"

The scene shifts at the forest where apes and gorillas are doing their usual thing, and there Izuku is seen eating a banana, and he is socializing with the other apes, who have since regarded Izuku as their kin even though he is a human boy who is physically four years old, yet the other apes did not mind it, as they appreciated how he defended their territory from predators and even poachers.
Two of the apes, who act as the patriarch and matriarch, are identified as Kerchak and Kala, are overseeing things, and so far things are peaceful at the moment, but Kerchak is shown to display a degree of resentment as he is persuaded by Kala to adopt Izuku despite that the boy is not an ape, though Kala said that it has benefited their family as Izuku's abilities help chase away predators.
"Even though you said that, I still do not acknowledge him."
"Come on, Kerchak…Izuku has…"
"The fact remains the same…he is not an ape…"
"He is family."
"Kala…"
"I'm sure in time you will accept him."
"Hmph."
"…"
The ape cousins are playing with Izuku and asked how he is able to get this strong, in which Izuku said that he doesn't know as he just discovered it, but said that he is glad that he have this ability as it helped him beat up a lot of predators and even chase away poachers, and the ape cousins said that they are happy that Izuku is part of the family, which Izuku echoed the same sentiment.
"Glad that you're part of the family."
"Yes, part of family."
"I guess…"
"Stay with us, Izuku!"
"Yeah, stay with us!"
"I…okay…"
"Yay!"
"Yay!"
Kala smiled seeing that her nieces are getting along well with Izuku though Kerchak is hesitant to respond as he still refuses to recognize Izuku because of the fact that he is human and not an ape, yet he had to admit that Izuku's abilities were beneficial as it protected their family from dangerous predators and hunters, keeping everyone alive for the time being.
Suddenly, Sabor showed up, prompting Kerchak to confront the leopard and demanded what she want and ordered her to leave the forest, in which Sabor said that she is looking for the one named Izuku, saying that she has a PERSONAL BUSINESS with him, which made Kerchak suspicious.
"What?"
"You heard me."
"…"
"Bring me this Izuku...now!"
"…"
"Or else I'll slaughter you all…"
"Damn you…"
"Don't try my patience…bring me this Izuku!"
As Kala herds her nieces to a safe area, Kerchak went on the defensive before shifting to offense, as he uses his brute strength to weaken the leopard, but Sabor, a large leopard with a slender, strongly built form that allows quick movement when hunting down prey, proves to be a difficult opponent, as she moves around to avoid getting caught, causing Kerchak to struggle in trying to get a hold of the female leopard.
Izuku watches the scene and observed, seeing that Kerchak couldn't match Sabor's speed and became worried as Sabor's claws landed several scratches on the patriarch ape, wounding him, and there Sabor demanded that he hand over Izuku or else she would slaughter everyone here, much to Kerchak's anger, as he would not let Sabor lay a claw on his family no matter what.
"I said I am an impatient animal…"
"Damn you…!"
"Give me Izuku now!"
"Don't you dare order me around!"
"Looks like I might enjoy a little snack before I resume my hunt…"
"…"
"Time dine…"
"Damn you…!"
Unfortunately, Sabor soon got the advantage and pinned Kerchak to the ground, and is ready to inflict a fatal strike when Izuku grabbed Sabor and kicked her back, telling her that she will get her wish, revealing his name and this caused Sabor to stare in disbelief, seeing that Izuku is human and not an ape, as it turns out that the wild dogs failed to inform her that Izuku is human and not an ape.
"Huh? You?"
"Yeah. I'm Izuku! You got what you want! I'm the one you seek!"
"I can't believe this! You're a human? I thought you just another ape!"
"…"
"Well, fine! If the wild dogs are having problems because of you…then I'll accept the challenge!"
"What do you want with me?"
"To kill you…and to show that I'm the most dangerous apex predator! And if I kill you it would boost my reputation!"
"You wish…"
