The early morning sunlight came threw the window. The warm light hit his face making him smile wide. Newkirk smiled and pulled his love who was still in his arms, closer to him. Opening his eyes he saw Mary still asleep. Smiling he hugged her tighter to himself not wanting to let go of her yet. He knew that Mary would be waking soon to start making them all breakfast. His smile grew wide as he felt his Snow move her arms up to hug him in her sleep. 'I have never felt this calm before.' He thought to himself. Closing his eyes and feeling his body in a calm state he sighed. For the past two years he had always woke up in an unease. Living in a POW camp was not that easy, to him or to anyone here. Newkirk knew that there was times that there would be calm within the camp, but it would never last long. He and the others would always get some kind of a mission from London to hinder the war in someway. 'Thinking back, I can't remember when I have woken up calm and actually ready to start the day.' He smiled again as he thought this. He opened his eyes again as he heard his love make a noise. Newkirk leaned his head back and saw snowy blue eyes now looking up at him.
A large smile came to Mary's lips as she looked up into her loves blue flamed eyes. She watched him leaned down and kiss her on the lips. They kissed each other with love and passion. Once the kiss broke her love leaned up, and spoke to her in a loving low voice.
"Good morning diamond heart." Mary smiled at his words.
"Good morning gold heart." Newkirk smiled wide at his loves words, then smiled wider as she kissed him on the lips again. Once the kiss broke, and Mary got out of bed did he ask her.
"How did you sleep?" He smiled wide at the sight of his love standing before him with nothing on. Mary turned her head and saw the large smile on her loves lips. While shaking her head she spoke.
"I think that is the best sleep I have ever had." She told him the truth. His eyes watched her move to the bathroom.
"You going to take a shower?" He asked her. Mary smiled then told him.
"Yes I am… you coming?" She watched a larger smile come to his lips. Mary giggled as Newkirk threw back the covers and got out of bed. He made his way to the door of the bathroom. Both smiled wide enough to show their teeth as he shut the door behind him. Behind the closed door, Mary giggled loudly.

Klink hung the phone up and made his way to his and Hogan's bedroom. He walked in and smiled to himself as he saw his love still asleep in their bed. Then his smile fell when he realized that he had to wake the sleeping man. Rolling his eyes, Klink made it over to his loves side of the bed. He sat down onto the bed and placed his hand on his loves shoulder. As he shook the younger man who once again made a noise in is sleep. The older man sighed heavy then thought of away to wake the younger. He leaned down and whispered in his ear.
"Robert wake up you are going to miss your grandchild being born." He leaned up quickly when he saw his loves eyes snap open.
"What?!" Hogan asked the older man as he was thinking back. 'When the hell did Mary…' He didn't finish his thought when he heard his love laughing lightly. Hogan looked at him and narrowed his eyes at him. "That's not funny." He told him. Klink stopped laughing long enough to tell his love.
"No it isn't is it. Now you know how it feels to have it done to you." He began to laugh again, but stopped as a pillow hit him in the face. Once the pillow dropped, Hogan started to laugh at the look on the older man's face. Klink looked over at his love who was rolling on the bed laughing at him. He was glad that he was not wearing the glasses right now, but he knew that his love wouldn't hit him in the face if he had them on. Klink noticed that Hogan's eyes were now closed with tears coming from them. Moving his hand slowly, Klink grabbed the pillow while he stood up. Hogan was now calming himself down as he sat up.
"Oh that was funny." He said wiping the tears from his eyes.
"Oh it was huh." He heard his love say. Hogan opened his eyes and looked up at his love who now had the pillow over his head. Hogan held up a hand to stop his love, but it didn't work. Klink started to hit Hogan with the pillow over and over again. The younger man moved his hand out to grab his loves uniform jacket. Once in hand he pulled him down onto the bed. Both men let out a groan as the older man fell onto the younger. Klink moved and sat up onto his arms, while Hogan wrapped his arms around his loves neck. The older man lowered his head, and kissed the younger man. Once the kiss broke Hogan went to kiss his love again, but saw his love move to set up. As his love pulled himself out of his arms did the younger Officer make a pout with his lower lip. Then he asked his love as his eyes watched the older man stand up.
"Where are you going?" He asked him. Klink smoothed out his jacket as he spoke.
"Come on Robert, you have an appointment today with the doctor." Klink looked at his love when he spoke.
"What? What for?" He asked him. Klink rolled his eyes. 'Did he really forget or is he just trying to get out of this.' The older Officer thought to himself. Then he told the younger man why he had to get up.
"You have to get medication for your seizures remember. I was not able to make an appointment for you until now." He told him dryly.
"Oh yeah." The younger man said in an unhappy voice. 'Damn he remembered.' Hogan thought to himself. Then his inner voice spoke up. 'Well of course he did. You have to get it, because if not, and you have one in front of Mary. She will be scared half to death.' Hogan sighed when the voice in his head said this. Klink watched his love get out of bed slowly. He once again rolled his eyes as he saw his love make a pout. 'He is an over grown child at times.' He thought to himself.

Mary and Newkirk were out of the shower. They were dressed and was now in the kitchen. Mary smiled wide when her love had helped her fix breakfast. As she walked past him to take the tea pot to the table she heard her father's laughing in their bedroom. She smiled to herself as she placed the tea pot down onto the table. Then Mary looked over at their door when it opened.
"Guten morgen Vater." She greeted her father. Klink smiled and greeted her a good morning. Then she looked over as she saw her father walk out of the bedroom.
"Good morning Papa." Hogan smiled at his daughter then told her good morning. Newkirk walked out of the kitchen with four tea cups in hand. He walked past Klink and told him good morning in German as well as calling him Vater. Klink smiled at the younger man as once again Hogan raised a brow. Then the oldest man in the room turned toward his daughter and informed her.
"Your father and I will not be eating breakfast this morning." Mary looked over at him as he told her this.
"Why are you not eating? Do you both not feel well?" She asked them both then quickly made her way over to them and placed a hand on each one of their foreheads. They both smiled at her as well as her love when he saw this. Klink moved up and took her hand away slowly.
"We are fine dear, but your father has a doctor's appointment this morning." He saw her eyes widen at this. She looked over when her father spoke next.
"It is just a checkup is all." He told her while removing her hand off his head slowly. Mary sighed with relief, then asked them.
"Would you like me to wrap up your food so that you can eat it on the ride there?" She asked them. Both men narrowed their brows when she said this, then looked over to Newkirk when he spoke.
"Mary made eggs and bacon sandwiches this morning." Hogan smiled as he looked over to his daughter. Klink smiled and said.
"I think that would be a good idea." He smiled again as he looked over to his daughter. Mary smiled then went to wrap her father's sandwiches up for them. While she was gone, Klink walked over to the table that was near the front door. Newkirk looked over toward him when he said his name.
"Peter this is the type of arrow that Burkhalter wants you to use." He told him as he walked over, and handed the arrow to the younger man. Both men watched as the younger made a face. Newkirk looked at the arrow, and shook his head.
"This is for a target, and not only that, but it has been made into a blunt arrow as well. I can't do anything with this." As he spoke Mary walked in and handed her father's their breakfast sandwiches. She turned around and saw the arrow in her loves hands. His love walked over to him and looked at the arrow.
"How can Peter protect me and himself with something that will bounce off of whoever he shoots with it." Mary stated, as Newkirk nodded his head. Klink sighed and then told them.
"I don't know, Burkhalter is afraid that you might use the arrows on the guards." As Klink spoke he saw his son roll his eyes at this. "I know. Robert and I told him that you wouldn't do that, but he doesn't want to take any chances."
"And both Will and I know that those arrows are useless." Hogan added. Newkirk then told them something that shocked the three before him.
"I can make my own arrows and bow, but I will have to use metals that are in the motor pool." Then he smiled wide at the looks he was getting from them.
"You can make your own bow and arrows?" Mary asked her love. He looked over at her and smiled wide.
"Yeah I can, it's not that hard to do. My master, who taught me, told me that I have to use a bow that I had made. That it would be more comfortable for me to use. Then I had to learn to make my own arrows that I know that was made correctly." As he spoke his smile turned into a large grin as he saw his love light up.
"Oh Peter that is amazing." Mary said impressed by his words. They both looked over when they heard Klink speak to them.
"Well I have to say that is very impressive, and if you can make your own, then I say that might not be a bad idea to do so." Newkirk looked up at the man who saw him as a son with a large smile. The older man told the younger man to go after he ate breakfast and make his bow and arrows. Then both Colonels said that they would try to be back around lunch time. Mary smiled and told them both to be careful. Both of her father's smiled at her as they left the little family home. She looked over at her love when he spoke to her.
"Mary, I will be in the motor pool for along time so…" His love cut in with her words.
"Don't worry I will stay here, and may ask Hilda to come over to keep me company until you are done." She said with a smile. He smiled, but then told her.
"Mary this could take all day and maybe the middle of the night before I am done." His eyes watched his loves smile fall some then come back to her lips again.
"Alright, Hilda and I can spend some girl time, then I can spend time with your friends if that's alright?" She asked him. Newkirk smiled wide and nodded his head.
"Yeah I think they might like that." With that said, both went to go to eat their breakfast.

Hogan and Klink where now in a room waiting for the doctor to come in. Klink was sitting in a chair watching his love walk around the room. He smiled to himself as he notice that the younger man seemed to be nervous. Hogan walked around the room and looked at everything in the room. He really had wished that he had not told Klink about this. Hogan hated to admit that he hated being at the doctors. He walked over to the counter and started to go threw the jars.
"Robert." Klink said the younger man's name. Hogan looked over at him.
"What?" He asked him while putting the top back on the jar.
"Don't do that. Just come and set down." Hogan rolled his eyes as he walked over and sat down beside his love. Klink shook his head slowly and then added. "You are a over grown child." He then chuckled as he saw his love look over at him with narrowed eyes. Just as Hogan was about to say something back is when the door opened. Dr. Kreizler walked into the small room. He smiled as he saw his old friend and the young Colonel with him.
"And what are you two doing here?" He asked them. Klink smiled as he told him.
"Robert is here for medication for his seizures…" Hogan cut in by saying.
"I am right here." Klink looked over at him with a look. Kreizler chuckled while he watched the two men before him go back and forth with smartass banter.
"So do you know Colonel Hogan, what kind of type of seizure you have?" Both men stopped as the doctor cut in.
"What do you mean?" He asked him. Klink moved his hand up and placed it on his forehead. Hogan saw this and added. "What I didn't know that there is more then one type of seizure."
"Well there is six different types." As he called them out and explained each one, Hogan shook his head until the last one.
"The last one is called a tonic seizure is when you initially experience your muscle stiffen up, and you often lose consciousness. Your eyes roll back, and your neck and back arch."
"Yeah that one." Hogan said while snapping his fingers. Kreizler nodded his head then told both men about the medication that he was going to put Hogan on. Then after he had wrote out the medication on the paper and handed it to Klink is when Hogan went to leave, but was stopped by Klink who had him by the back of his belt. The younger man turned around and looked at the older man. Klink smiled and told his love.
"You are not done yet. Go and set down on the examination table. You are getting looked over completely." Kreizler laughed lightly as the younger man made a pout with his lower lip. As Hogan walked over and got on the table Klink couldn't help himself he had to say this to Hogan.
"If you are a good little boy, then I will take you to get a sweet afterwards." Kreizler bit his lower lip as Hogan looked over at his love with a shocked look. Klink on the other hand was laughing lightly, but wanted to bust out laughing at the look on the younger man's face. Kreizler was now checking Hogan's throat when he asked his friend.
"How is the young man that I saw at the camp doing?"
"Newkirk is feeling a lot better now. He is up and walking around." Klink answered him.
"That's good. How about your daughter Colonel Hogan?" He asked the younger man while he looked into his eyes. Hogan went to answer when once again Klink couldn't help himself.
"Mary is doing great. She helped Newkirk take a shower. I know that she told us that she would wear her nightgown in the shower, but…" Then Hogan cut in while Kreizler was looking in his right ear.
"She war her nightgown Will." When Hogan called Klink by the short version of his name is when Kreizler smiled a very small smile. 'I thought so.' He thought to himself. Then heard his old friend speak again.
"Come on Robert. Newkirk is a young good looking man, and she is a young good looking woman. And they are in love with each other. Are you that much of a moron that you really think that they have not ran their hands over each others…" Kreizler stopped what he was doing to laugh at the face that Hogan was making when Klink was speaking. Then when his love was about to say that his best friend and his daughter had…
"Okay that's enough!" He yelled out some with the same look on his face. The doctor looked over at his old friend and saw a large smile on his face, then watched him bite his lip. Then Hogan answered the doctor himself.
"Mary is doing good, but…" Klink looked at his love with narrowed brows when he had paused.
"But?" Kreizler asked.
"But I am afraid that Mary will have a flashback soon, and she will go into a panic." He told him then went to speak again but found a thermometer in his mouth.
"Mary has flashbacks?" He asked as he looked over to his friend. Klink stood up and took a few steps toward him while he talked.
"Yes she does. I have to find someone that can help her with them, and us on how to help her." He told his friend. Kreizler raised a brow and asked the older man.
"Why does she have flashbacks anyway? She is only sixteen and I don't think that her coming here to be with her father would be that bad on her." That is when he saw both Colonels look at each other. Klink then told his friend about his and his loves daughter's past. As he spoke Kreizler's eyes widen at this. He couldn't believe that someone would do that to a sweet girl like her, or her own mother would do and let someone do that to her own child. After Klink had finished talking is when the doctor sighed then told them both.
"I can help her with the flashbacks, if you want me too." The doctor said while taking the thermometer out of Hogan's mouth. Hogan smiled then spoke.
"That would be great if you can. None of us know what to do when she is in one, or know how to act when she is." He told the truth.
"Well I will come by next week and help her, but I will have to know everything that she has been threw first. I will need to of course talk to the both of you and to The Corporal as well." He told them. Both men nodded there heads at this.

Mary was now sewing the last of the beads into the bodice of her dress. She smiled to herself as she place the new dress over the bed. The dress had a light baby blue silk taffeta bottom that was a few inches from the floor. The bodice of the dress had a blush floral lace appliques. On the lace appliques were glass clear beads sewn on them. Mary was happy that the only thing she had to do was sew the lace appliques on as well as a few of the glass beads. She smiled to herself, and looked at the other few things that she had made for herself. She had made herself a new nightgown, as well as a new coat, and even had what she needed to make herself two new pears of boots. Mary smiled as she walked over to the first piece that she had made. With a large smile, she then began to wrap it up in brown paper. As she tied it up with string her smile grew larger. 'I hope Peter likes it.' Once the gift was ready she walked over and put on her new dress that she had just made. Once on, she then pinned up the sides of her hair like before. While picking up a bag with clothes in them Mary walked out of the small house, and stood on the small porch. She held the package to her chest with one arm and smiled sheepishly.
"Lady Mary?" Mary jumped when she heard Schultz's booming voice to the side of her. She looked over and saw Schultz standing near the door. The fat Sergeant walked over to her, and looked at the bag in her hand, and the package in her arm.
"What do you have there?" He asked her with a large smile. Mary smiled wide then told him.
"In the bag is the clothes that Hilda let me use for awhile, and I was going to go and give them back to her." She told him then giggled when he pointed to the package in her arm.
"And who is that for?" He asked knowing who it was for.
"This is for Peter." She told him with her face getting red. The Sergeant smile wide at the sight of the young woman before him. He knew that the young lady and the young Corporal would fall in love with each other sooner or later.
"Do you want me to walk you over to Hilda so that you can give those back to her?" He asked her. Mary nodded her head and they turned to walk down the stairs.

Newkirk was in the motor pool looking over the fourth design for his bow. He looked over the paper once again as he let out the smoke from his cigarette. He looked over to the materials that he was going to use. Newkirk sat the paper down, and reached over to get what he would use first. As he ran his hand over it, a small smile came to his face. The memory of him making his first bow came to his mind. He was only sixteen at the time, and his master was right beside him telling him how to make the bow and the arrows that he would be using. His small smile turned into a larger one when he remembered showing his little brother how to make one of his own. 'I wonder if he still uses his bow?' He thought to himself. Sighing heavy at the thought of his little brother or in more of away a son to him, Newkirk said a prayer asking for Hunter to be alright and was doing okay without him there. Standing up he made his way over to a large table and started to work on making his bow.

Mary thanked Schultz for walking her to the Kommandantur. When she heard the door open, Hilda looked up from her desk. She smiled wide when she saw Mary walk in, then her mouth dropped at the dress that Mary had made herself. The older woman stood up and walked around her desk to look at the dress better. Mary smiled wide when Hilda looked at the dress that she had worked hard on.
"Mary that dress is amazing." The older woman told her.
"Danke." The younger woman said with a sheepish smile. Then she handed the bag to her friend. Hilda reached out and asked.
"What is this?" She smiled wide when Mary told her.
"That is all the clothes you let me use until I had my own." Hilda smiled and nodded her head. Then her eyes spotted the package in Mary's arms.
"And who is that for?" She asked also knowing who it was for. The older woman watched a bright blush come to the younger woman's face.
"It's for Peter." Mary said in a shy voice. Hilda smiled at the sight of her young friend.
"Well I think it is sweet for you to give him a birthday gift." When Hilda said birthday is when Mary narrowed her brows together and asked.
"Today is Peter's birthday?" Hilda narrowed a brow and thought.
"I think it is." She stated as she walked into her bosses office. Mary watched Hilda set the bag down, then pull out a small drawer. Her eyes watched as the older woman went through the files. She then saw her pull out her loves file. Opening the file up, and reading the date of birth. Hilda smiled wide then looked over at her young friend.
"Is it his birthday today?" Mary asked her. Hilda turned around and told her.
"April 29th and that is today, so it is." The older woman watched as Mary smiled wide at this, then watched her smile fall some.
"Why didn't he tell me that today was his birthday?" She asked out loud. While putting the file back Hilda spoke.
"Well this is a POW camp, and we can't give no one special treatment. So a lot of the POW's and guard's alike have more to worry about then a birthday. I'm sure your father didn't remember his, or Herr Oberst didn't do anything for his either." Mary nodded at the point that the older woman made, then smiled wide and told her.
"Well I am going to give my gold heart a wonderful birthday." Hilda smiled wide at this, then had an idea.
"How about you have his friends help you?" Mary's smile grew wider at the idea.
"I think I will, and I have been wanting to get to know them a little better too." With that Mary went to turn to go out of the building but stopped and said. "Danke Hilda, and you can come to the party before you leave if you want too." Hilda smiled and said that she would love too. Then her eyes watched the younger woman pretty much run out of the small building. When Mary ran out onto the small porch it made the fat Sergeant jump and hold up his gun to see why the young woman was running. Mary giggled at the sight of him, then walked over to him.
"Liebe Onkel can you please walk me over to Barracks 2 please?" She asked him. Schultz narrowed his brows then raised them.
"Onkel?" He asked her. Mary nodded her head at him.
"Yes, that is what Papa calls you too. I just thought that it was okay to call you that." Then her eyes went wide, and Mary started to speak again. "But if you don't want me to call you that then I won't." Schultz smiled and held his hand up.
"It is alright, you can call me Onkel, but Colonel Hogan calls me that too?" He asked her. Mary nodded her head and told him.
"Yes he does. I hope you don't mind that he does. He does see you as one, because his adopted mother has no family, and he has always called his friend's his family. He told me when I was younger that it was alright to do so as long as they were alright with it." Mary told the older man what her father had told her. The Sergeant smiled wide at hearing this, then moved his arm out to walk the young lady to Barracks 2. Mary smiled wide and started to walked to Barracks 2.
When the door was opened for her by her new Onkel, she saw two of her fathers friend's sitting at the table. As Mary walked in as Kinch walked over to get himself a cup of coffee, he was the first one to see her. His mouth dropped when he saw the dress that she was wearing. Mary giggled as she walked in farther into the Barracks. When she was now standing next to the table is when Carter and LeBeau looked over at her.
"Holy cow!" Is what came out of Carter's mouth when he saw the dress. "That is beautiful Mary!" Mary giggled loudly as the young man yelled out loud.
"Oui, now that is something that a royal Queen of France would wear." Said LeBeau as he himself looked over the dress. Mary smiled wide at them, then spoke to them.
"Thank you, but I was wondering if all of you could help me with Peter's birthday today?" She asked them. "I want to make this birthday the best one he has ever had." She added.
"Oui I will help you make Pierre's birthday the best he has ever had." LeBeau said as he started to think of what he was going to cook for his friend. Mary smiled then looked over to Kinch and Carter.
"Sure we can help." Kinch answered for the both of them as Carter nodded his head.
"That's wonderful thank you, all of you." Mary thanked them once again. Schultz smiled an unseen smile as he saw all the men smile at the sound of Mary's sweet voice. He had to admit that no matter what was wrong, or even if things were going bad around you. The only thing that would make anyone feel better is hearing this young woman speak in her sweet voice.
"I think I will cook Newkirk a classic French dish." LeBeau spoke up. Kinch frowned and looked over to their little friend.
"LeBeau, it's Newkirk's birthday. I don't think he would want French food for his birthday dinner." LeBeau narrowed his eyes as he looked over at the other man. Then all three looked over at Mary when she spoke up.
"I know what I am going to fix him for supper, but I will need all of you in the kitchen, and then one of you to go and see how far done he is with his bow and arrows. Then watch for him until it's time for supper, or if he gets done early." She told them.
"I can go and check on him, then watch to see if he is coming to the house." Carter said with a smile. Mary smiled at him then noticed his smile fell some. She placed a hand on his shoulder and asked him.
"Andrew what is it?" Carter's smile came back when she had said his first name, then admitted what he had always said about himself.
"Well I just hope that I don't tell him. I do say and do stupid things." Mary frowned as the young man went on. "I always give stuff away, or do something stupid. I don't think that I should go and check on Newkirk, or watch to see when he is coming to the house. Kinch you do it… oh no I can't be in the kitchen either. I might set something on fire…"
"Andrew that's enough!" All four men looked up and over at Mary when she spoke in a strong voice. Schultz walked over to the young lady and listened to her talk to the young Sergeant. When Carter went to look down is when Mary placed her hand on his cheek and made him look at her.
"Andrew, everyone is not perfect. Everyone makes mistakes. If you sit there, and always down yourself. Then you will always set yourself up to fail. You will drive it into your own head that you are worthless. And I will not see someone as nice and as sweet as you do that. Now I want you to forget everyone that has told you that you are worthless, and what they have said to you. I want you to start thinking of yourself as worthy. Start showing them that you are smart as I know you to be, and show yourself as well, and as well as them just how amazing you are." When Mary got done speaking is when Carter smiled wide at her, and said without thinking.
"Newkirk is lucky to have you." Everyone, but Mary raised their brows at the younger man. Mary dropped her hand, and placed it on the package within her arms.
"Do you think so?" She asked him. Carter nodded his head and told her the truth.
"Yeah I do. I know that Betty hurt him bad, and I know what he was going to try to do. So the night that you came here, I hid everyone's pocket knives under my pillow and in my coat that I was wearing. I was getting worried about him, we all were, but Newkirk is a lot happier now. I knew that you would help him, and he would help you." As Carter spoke Mary's eyes started to tear up, and her smile grew larger. "You remind me of my mom too. I always thought that if I had a sister that she would be sweet like you." He told her, then saw the tears fall from her eyes. Carter stood up quickly and spoke quickly. "I didn't mean to make you cry!" Mary held up her hand to stop him.
"Andrew please don't apologize. I didn't think that I had helped Peter that much. I know that he has helped me a lot with so many things, but I don't think I have helped him as much as you think." She started to talk but Carter cut in by saying.
"But you have helped him. Newkirk used to fall hard and fast for any woman, he would change himself to make them happy. Then when his girl back home wrote him, and told him that she didn't want him no more… oh boy did he start to put his life on the line a lot more. There was many times that he would almost get killed, and or get hurt really bad. Colonel Hogan told me that when I was to go out on a mission with Newkirk that I had to watch him very closely. I think that Newkirk wanted to be killed so that he didn't have to do it himself." More tears fell from Mary's eyes as she was told of her love before he met her. "But you are here now, and he is a lot happier. I don't think any of us has seen him smile so much, or act like a love sick teenager." When the younger man said this Mary giggled out, then looked over to the older American Sergeant when he spoke.
"Carter is right. Newkirk was going to kill himself, but before that he would almost get killed. Then when he would get back here… he would get so angry that he didn't get killed. He would do things to piss off Klink just to see if he would have him shot, but he would get even more angry when he was put in the cooler. Klink knew what Newkirk was trying to do, so he would look out for him, and for all of us really." Mary looked over to LeBeau when he spoke up next.
"That is true. Newkirk was the first one here, then I came along a few months later. But I was told that the other Kommandant that was here before Klink was not a nice guy. He use to call Newkirk to his office all the time, and he was in there for hours. I don't know what was going on, but I know that Newkirk doesn't like to talk about it though. I know one thing, that Kraut would beat the hell out of him." After he spoke they all saw Mary's eyes widen with hot tears running from them. She lowered her head while closing her eyes. Carter placed a hand on her shoulder when she let out a loud sob. Mary quickly placed a hand over her mouth. All four men moved closer to the crying young woman. Kinch moved and hugged Mary up as she started to cry harder. While he hugged her up, he spoke to her.
"See you have helped him, and we are all glad that you did so. Newkirk is like a brother to us, and we worry about him a lot. Now that he has you in his life, we can see a big difference in him. Newkirk smiles like he used too, and laughs like before. That is all because of you. You saved him way before Betty came here. He loves you a lot, and we all know that Newkirk will never stop loving you." Kinch pulled back and looked down into Mary's snowy blue eyes with a smile. Mary smiled wide then spoke.
"I love him too. He is my golden hearted Huntsman. George did every type of abuse to me, and Mama let him do it. Peter has helped me with some much. I know now that I can eat a hot meal with him and my fathers, that I can take hot showers, that what George called making love was actually called rape." When she said this all the men's eyes widen and their mouths dropped open. "Peter showed me what love is, and tells me all that what George and Mama did to me was wrong. He knows what to do when I am in a flashback, and how to talk to me when I am in one, or just come out of it. He tells me that I am beautiful, and that I have a diamond heart. I wish that I could always make him happy, but I… I don't know if I can." She admitted to the men that knew her love better than what she did. But all the men there knew, that it was Mary who knew Newkirk better than anyone. It was again Kinch who spoke up for everyone else.
"Mary you will always make Newkirk happy. Just being there for him, and loving him is what makes him happy. All the whole time we have known him, he has always spoke about finding someone that could love him for him, and can be able to put up with him. Newkirk is the most happiest he has ever been in along time, and I say has ever been. Mary you loving him and being there for him threw no matter what… that will make him happy." Mary smiled wide at the words the older man was telling her. She reached up and wiped her tears away.
"Well then I think that we all should give him the best birthday he has ever had." She said with a large smile. Everyone nodded their heads.

Hogan and Klink were now sitting in the restaurant that they had came to on their first date. Hogan was shocked that Klink told him that they were going to spend half the day out. As Hogan finished his drink he looked into his loves baby blue eyes. Klink narrowed his eyes in fun then chuckled lightly. They got up from the table and walked outside. As they started to walk down the street Hogan leaned over and asked his love something that he had to know.
"Why did Newkirk call you Vater?" Klink smiled at the question.
"I told him that I saw him as a son. He told me that I could call him son if I wanted too, so I do." Hogan smiled then realized something.
"Is that why you were so worried about him before?" He asked. He stopped walking when he noticed that the older man had stopped. He watched Klink lower his head, and sigh.
"Robert, I have to tell you something that I should have told you on our last date." Hogan felt himself get nervous.
"What is that?" He said walking closer to his love.
"After Everett died, I was going to get married to a woman that was a lot like Lizzie. Then when she found someone else I was heartbroken yes, but like I told Peter… that she had a son and he had went threw heartache like he did. I called him my son and I loved that boy lot like a father should, but he took his own life after a girl broke his heart. I was so worried about Peter because he reminds me of my son, and I didn't want to go threw that again… and I knew that you and he were good friends. I just didn't want anyone to go threw that." He told his love the truth. Hogan moved closer and went to hug him but had to stop himself. Both men looked around and saw people walking around them. Klink saw that the younger man wanted to hug him. He smiled at him and told him. "You can do that later." Hogan smiled wide at his words. They started to walk again, then Klink asked his love.
"When is Mary's birthday?" Hogan smiled wide at him.
"You looked at her birth certificate. You should know this, and her middle name too." The younger man stated. Klink rolled his eyes as he walked.
"No I didn't look. I just saw the last name Hogan and was shocked." He admitted.
"Oh… well Mary's birthday is in 25 days." Hogan laughed as he heard Klink sigh deeply.
"You mean May 24th." He said dryly. Rolling his eyes again as the younger man nodded his head. Then Klink saw Hogan's eyes widen and stopped walking. Klink turned and looked at him.
"Robert? What is it?" He asked him.
"Today is Newkirk's birthday." He told him with a smile. "I wonder if he told Mary that?" He asked himself. Klink smiled wide and thought of a good idea.
"How about we go back to camp and tell Mary, and help her with his birthday dinner." Hogan smiled wide and nodded his head at his loves words.
"Sounds like a plan." Klink once again rolled his eyes as his love took off running to the car that was not too far away. Once both were in the car Hogan shocked Klink by giving him a quick hug and a kiss on the cheek. The older man smiled wide at this, and reached over taking the younger man's hand into his. They held each other's hands on the way back to the camp.

Newkirk placed an arrow down with some of the others he had made. While wiping the sweat from his forehead, he looked at his work. He had been in the motor pool for half a day now. He looked over to his left when he heard someone walk into his work area. Carter was standing there with a plate and a glass. Walking over to the younger man Newkirk said thanks and took the glass of water. Once he drank it all down, he reached for the plate. Smiling wide he asked his young friend.
"Let me guess, Mary asked you to bring me this?" Carter smiled and nodded his head.
"Yeah she did. She asked all of us to help make dinner." Newkirk raised a brow at the young Sergeant.
"Why?" Carter calmed himself down inside as he spoke.
"She wanted to make all of us dinner and she asked if we could help make something that each one of us liked." He told him trying not to give the lie away. He let out a breath when Newkirk smiled and said.
"That is my diamond heart. She always wants to make everyone feel wanted, and happy." Newkirk sat down and looked at the sandwich that his love had made him. Wiping his hands on a clean rag, he picked up the sandwich and took a bite. Carter sat down next to him and started to speak about his diamond heart.
"Well Mary told us that she is afraid that she will not make you happy later down the road." When Carter said this Newkirk looked over to him with wide eyes.
"What do you mean?" He asked with a mouth full of his food.
Carter sighed and started to tell his friend what Mary had told them not too long ago. As the young Sergeant spoke the older Corporal lowered his head. Carter told him about the hot food, showers, and about the abuses. He also told him about how Mary had said that her gold heart had helped her with telling her the truth about things. Then she said that she didn't think that she was always going to make him happy. Then Carter told Newkirk about all of them telling Mary about how he used to act before. When Newkirk heard Carter say this he yelled out in anger.
"YOU TOLD HER THAT!" He yelled at the younger man. Carter closed his eyes tightly do to the older man yelling in his ear. As he raised up a hand to place over his ear he spoke again.
"Yeah we did. We were trying to tell her that she had helped you a lot, which she has helped you. Newkirk we were all worried about you. Did you for one second think about what it would be like or how we all would have felt if you would have gotten killed or killed yourself!" Carter yelled as he stood up to look at his friend. Newkirk's eyes were wide at his young friend yelling at him. He sat his sandwich down and stood up to look his friend in the eyes.
"No I didn't Carter."
"That's right you didn't!" Carter yelled again. Newkirk sighed and looked away, then looked back when Carter spoke in a normal voice again. "We all care about you, and we all didn't want to watch our friend be put in the ground." As he spoke Newkirk could see the young man's eyes start to tear up. Sighting to himself, Newkirk reached out and hugged the young man who hugged him back.
"I'm sorry Andrew. I didn't know that all of you cared that much." While still in the hug Carter spoke in a sadden voice.
"We do, you are like our brother, our family." He said this and Newkirk felt the pain in his chest. He hugged the younger man tighter. Closing his eyes the older man remembered all the times that he and Carter would go out and do missions together. Carter would always be close beside him and watched him like a hawk. He remembered that Carter and the others would always ask him if he was feeling okay, and that they were there if he needed to talk about anything. At the time he had pushed it away, and had gotten angry by it. Now he knew why they had done it. 'They were all worried about me. They just wanted to make sure that I was alright.' He smiled as he leaned back to look at the younger man.
"I'm sorry. None of you have to worry about that anymore. I'm happy and will never do that again." He told him with a smile. Carter smiled wide, then frowned some. He saw the older man narrow his brows at him. Newkirk went to ask, but Carter told him.
"I know that you are afraid that you will not make Mary happy later on too." The younger man watched the older man step back at this. Lowering his head, Newkirk nodded his head then admitted what he deep down was worried about.
"Yeah I am. She can do so much better than me. I know that after the war, I will not be able to support her or myself. I was barely able to support myself and my little brother. There was many times, he ate and I didn't. I had to make sure that he had food at the time, but with Mary. Mary needs someone that can take care of her, and Andrew I don't know if I can or not." He admitted to his young friend. Carter sighed then told him with a smile.
"Well if you became a designer then I know that you could. You would I say be able to by her a big house and get a lot of diamonds for her, and anything else she would need." Newkirk smiled at this, then shook his head.
"Why does everyone say that? I am not that good at it." He said while walking back to the table in the motor pool. Carter smiled and followed him.
"Cause you do damn good work, that's why. The wedding dress you made Burkhalter's niece, and the dress you made Hilda's mom. They were amazing! You are really good at it, and we all see it too. The Kommandant is right, people would pay big money for something that you make. I know that I would, if I had the money." He said looking to the side then looked at the older man. "Would you have a friends discount?" He asked him. Newkirk chuckled then told him while picking up an arrow.
"For you Carter yes." Carter smiled and looked at the arrows and the bow. His eyes went wide then walked over to the table.
"Wow Newkirk, these are really good." He smiled as Carter picked up an arrow. Newkirk went to stop his friend from touching the end when Carter barely touched it and yelped. "Ouch that is sharp!" He said looking over at the older man. Newkirk walked over and took the arrow from him.
"Yes Carter, I need them to be very sharp. I say when this George gets here, I will need many of them. I say it will be one hell of a fight between myself and him." He spoke the truth. Carter nodded his head and agreed with his friend.
"Your right. Just make sure that you kick his ass for all of us before you kill him." The older man looked over at his young friend. He had never heard the younger man talk like that before. Then Carter turned toward him and added. "He needs to pay for what he did to Mary." Newkirk smiled and nodded his head.
"Your right about that Carter, and he will."

Mary moved around the kitchen as she fixed her love his birthday dinner. She wiped her hands on an apron that she had made earlier that day. LeBeau had leaned over and told Kinch what was on the apron. On the apron was an M and P on it. The Sergeant looked at the letters that was over each other and saw the M and the P. Both men smiled wide at this, and knew that this young woman was very much in love with their friend. Kinch and LeBeau smiled to each other as Mary got everything ready to put her loves cake together. She was about to start to build the cake when Carter walked back into the kitchen. Then they all heard the front door open and close. They looked up as both Colonels walked into the kitchen. Both Hogan and Klink looked around and saw their daughter and the three men all in the kitchen.
"Hey what is this?" Hogan asked as he went to eat a strawberry, but got his hand smacked. Everyone smiled and tried not to laugh as he rubbed his hand.
"Those go in the cake." Mary told him while pointing her finger at him.
"Okay okay. Wait what cake?" He asked his daughter once again. Mary smiled wide and told her fathers.
"Peter's birthday cake. Hilda told me that today was his birthday and I wanted to make a cake and his favorite supper." As she told them her smile widened into a large grin. Klink smiled at his daughter when she spoke about her love. Hogan smiled then told her.
"Oh okay, we were coming here to tell you that, but I guess you beat us to it." Mary smiled and went to turn around. When Hogan saw this he went for another berry again, but this time Klink smacked his hand.
"Don't do that." He told him. Hogan turned to look at him with narrowed eyes.
"Hey if you are going to smack me, don't do it in front of everyone. Wait until we are alone." The three men at the table looked at him with wide eyes when their Commanding Officer said this, then looked over at Mary when she spoke.
"Papa, really. I don't want to hear that. In words or actually hear him spank you at all." She told her father who was now laughing loudly. Klink closed his eyes tight and lowered his head.
"Yes Robert, please don't talk like that in front of our little girl. She doesn't need to hear what I will do to you later." Hogan stopped laughing and looked over at his love with a wide smile. He stepped closer to the older man when he spoke next.
"Is that before, during or after we talk about you wearing your uniform trousers and jack boots." He asked him with a playful smile. Mary made a face as her father talked to his love. Klink smiled wide and told him.
"Yes to all." With that he leaned over and kissed Hogan on the lips. All three men saw this, and their mouths dropped. They didn't hear Klink say that he was going to check on his son. It was Kinch who spoke first.
"Damn… guess we all have to pay Newkirk now." Mary laughed lightly as the others nodded their head.

Klink walked into the motor pool then stopped where he was. He smiled to himself as his eyes watched his son make three arrows at a time. Newkirk dipped the arrows in a bucket filled with ice water. As the water boiled up Newkirk turned his head to the side, but kept an eye on the water. Once the metal was cooled down he pulled them back up. Klink watched his son place the arrows on the table, then looked at them. He made his way over to his son's side. Newkirk jumped when he looked over to his side and saw his Vater standing beside him. When Newkirk jumped this cause Klink to let out a low chuckle.
"How is it coming?" He asked him. Newkirk smiled wide and started to tell the older man who he saw now as a father.
"Well I made my bow first, now I am making all of the arrows that I will need… maybe." He told him. Klink looked over and saw the arrows on the table. The arrowheads were that of a old samurai fashion. Glancing over he saw the bow that his son had made. The bow was that of a recurve bow. Then the older man began to count the arrows that were laid out.
"Son there is forty of them here. How many do you need?" He asked him. The younger man smiled when he heard him call him son. He turned around and looked at his work.
"Well I have five more to make. Then I will go to the house, and take a nice hot shower." He told him while wiping his neck with a rag. Klink nodded his head then told him.
"Why don't you go to the showers near the barracks and take one there." As Klink spoke he turned around and saw the younger man looking at him with a raised brow. Then before Newkirk could ask Klink spoke again. "That way you are nice and clean when Mary who by the way has not seen you all day, runs up and hugs you and gives you a big kiss." They both smiled at this. "You are nice and clean." He told him. The older man watched his son smile wide and nodded his head.
"Yeah your right." As the younger man grab the next three arrows to heat up, Klink asked him.
"How much longer will you be?" Without looking he answered him.
"About an hour." Klink nodded his head and then turned to walk out of the motor pool when his son stopped him by asking.
"Do you think that I will be able to support Mary and myself later down the road?" The older man narrowed his brows at this question. He turned back around and walked toward the younger man.
"Peter? What do you mean by that?" He asked him. Newkirk looked up as he grabbed his gloves to put them on.
"Well, Carter told me that Mary is afraid that she will not make me happy later on and I know that she will, but I don't know if I can make her happy. I was barely able to feed my little brother and myself, and there was days that I went hungry while he ate. I just don't know if I can support all of us." After he spoke he dropped the gloves on the table and looked at his bow. Klink walked over to him and told him.
"Son, you will be able too. I know that you will be great at whatever you do after the war." As he spoke the younger man looked up and over. He saw a smile come to the older man's lips. "Mainly if you become a designer." Once again someone told him this. Then Newkirk admitted something.
"I know that I am good at it, but I don't want to put all my energy and time in something that doesn't workout. What if no one buys anything I make?" He asked him. Then Klink smiled wider and told him.
"I tell you what, you make four dresses. Then I will call over Hilda, her mother and…" He closed his eyes and made a face then continued. "And Burkhalter's sister and wife, and they can look at the dresses and tell you what they think. Sounds like a plan?" Newkirk smiled wide at the end. He then nodded his head and agreed, then told him.
"You have been around Colonel Hogan too much. You are starting to pick up some of his words." This made the older man laugh loudly.
"Your right, oh and." His son looked at him. "You need to get your money from the boys too. They know now." Newkirk smiled wide at this.

All four men watched the young woman before them decorate her loves cake. Mary smoothed out the icing on her loves birthday cake. The icing once again it looked as if it was solid. The icing was that of a royal blue. Smiling to herself, she picked up the bag that had white icing within it. She picked up a tea cup and turned it upside down. She then placed a piece of paper on top of the bottom of the tea cup. The men watched her move the bag and began to pipe something on the paper. Hogan smiled wide when he saw that it was a rose that she was making. Then their eyes watched her put down the bag and pick up another one. In this bag was a ruby red color. Hogan's smile grew when he saw his daughter put the bag down and saw the rose.
"That is a Tudor Rose." He said with a large smile. Mary nodded her head and took a knife and moved it under the rose. As she place the rose on the cake, Kinch asked her.
"Where did you learn how to do this?" Mary smiled then told him.
"Well George and Mama went on a trip one summer and I was left home alone. I got out of the house to see what I could do that was fun. Papa was not going to be in for another week so I walked around London. I went to a bakery and stood there and watched them make cakes and other things. The woman saw me and asked me if I wanted a piece of cake and I told her no. I just wanted to learn how to do that, so she taught me. I learned how to make cakes and decorate them. That is where I learned how to make English, French, American, and German desserts. That was the best week I ever had learning how to do something new." She finished with a large smile as she made a white and gold rose. As she placed it on the cake is when her Vater walked into the kitchen. He saw the cake and the roses. Mary looked up at her Vater when he spoke.
"You made Tudor Roses and a rose this symbols you and Peter." Mary smiled wide when he understood the white rose with a gold rose around it.
"I get it now. I just thought that it was a different colored Tudor rose." Her father said with a large smile. Then looked over at the small Corporal when he spoke.
"Is Newkirk almost done?" LeBeau asked him. Klink smiled at Mary placing another rose on the side of the cake.
"He said that he will be done in an hour. I told him to go to the showers near the barracks and shower." Mary nodded her head then said with a large smile.
"Good. I can't wait for Peter to see his birthday supper and his cake." She said as she moved and got the melted chocolate from the stove and sat it to the side to let it cool for a second.
All the men in the kitchen watched her take the chocolate and put it in a small bag. Their eyes watched her cut the pointed end of the bag making a small whole. They watched her move the melted chocolate in a design that was on a piece of parchment paper. Mary smiled wide when Carter asked her what she was making. She only told him while still smiling that he and everyone else would see in time. When she got done with the design she picked up the paper with the chocolate and folded it in a circle. Mary placed it in a pan to let the chocolate harden. After that she made another one that was smaller, and did the same to it. When an hour had past Carter was to watch and to come and tell them when their friend, son, and love was coming to the house. When he saw him walking toward the house, he ran in and told them.
"He's coming." He told them.
All the men placed the food on the table, while Mary put the two chocolates that she had made on the cake. Once they were on is when her father's saw what she had made. They smiled to each other as they joined everyone else in the kitchen. Mary then took off her apron and moved into the living room. She stood there waiting on her love to walk threw the door. As she waited on him she smoothed out her dress. Then looked up when the door opened. Newkirk walked threw the door and looked up. He stopped dead in his tracks as he saw his love standing there in a dress that he knew that only she could pull off. Mary smiled wide as she walked over to him. Leaning up on her tiptoes, she kissed him on the lips. He closed his eyes and kissed his love back. Once the kiss broke and she had leaned back down did he speak.
"Mary that is beautiful." He smiled a loving smile then added. "Just like you." Mary smiled wide then took his hand and led him into the dining room. Newkirk's smile grew as he saw the food and the cake on the table.
"What is this?" He asked her. Mary moved in front of him then said.
"This is your birthday supper and your birthday cake." She watched her love smile wide then place a hand over his mouth. Then his friends and Vater moved out and yelled.
"Happy Birthday!" This took him aback by everyone there in front of him. He looked at his love when she told him.
"Hilda told me that today is your birthday and I wanted to give you the best birthday you have ever had." She told him in a loving voice. Newkirk walked over to her and placed his hands on the side of her face then told her the truth.
"Mary, this is great, but…" Mary's smile fell some then widen at what he told her next.
"But being with you and you loving me… Is the best birthday ever." After he said this he leaned down and kissed her on the lips. Once the kiss broke is when they heard.
"So does that mean that we helped cook your birthday dinner for nothing? Well I guess I can have a piece of cake then." Carter asked as he went to cut him a piece of cake. When he went to cut the cake is when Newkirk spoke up.
"No, I am glad that all of you did this for me, and Carter if you cut that cake I will kick your ass." Carter smiled and put the knife down while everyone laughed.
Newkirk was happy to finally get a homemade Shepherd's pie. He smiled to himself as he heard LeBeau say the food was very good even though it was an English dish. His eyes spotted his love who was sitting beside him. She was looking at him with a smile. Leaning over he told his love.
"This is the best Shepherd's pie I have ever had." Mary smiled wide when he told her this. Then looked up as Kinch told Mary.
"You know Mary, you should open a restaurant when the war is over." Mary smiled wide at this. Then looked over at Carter when he now spoke up.
"Yeah and I think that you should call it Snow White's." Everyone smiled, while Mary and Hogan laughed.
"I think that you should open up a bakery, and call it Bonbons de neige." LeBeau said this then told them again in English. "Snow Sweets." He told them with an eye roll. Hogan smiled and told them.
"Mary already has a name for her bakery." He said with a large smile. Mary looked over toward her father with wide eyes, then looked over when Carter asked her.
"Really? What will it be called?" He asked her. They all saw her face get red then she told them in a sheepish voice.
"It will be called Newkirk's." She looked down after she told them. Newkirk smiled wide then spoke up.
"You don't have to call it that. I actually like Snow Sweets." Mary looked up at him and told her love.
"But I want to call it that. I used to have a different name for it but…" Then she realized what she had said then stopped talking when he looked up at her. Mary smiled wide at him then looked down. She smiled a sheepish smile again, while her face turned redder.
"What was the name before?" He asked her. Mary shook her head then said.
"It was not a good name for it." She went to change the subject when her father asked her.
"Mary what was it going to be called?" With a sigh, Mary looked up and told her father.
"I was going to call it Silver Wings." She said this then looked down and quickly took a bite of her food. Hogan looked up and tried to think of why his daughter was so embarrassed by the name. When he couldn't think of it he spoke again.
"I think that's a great name… But why are you so embarrass by it?" He asked her, then looked up when Newkirk cleared his throat. When Hogan looked up at his best friend, he saw him move his hand to his collar of his shirt. Hogan raised a brow and tried to figure out what his friend was trying to tell him. Then Newkirk pointed at his shirt and to his own is when Hogan moved his hand up. His finger touch the eagles on his collar. Smiling wide he looked over at his daughter.
"Mary did you want to name it after me?" He asked her. They all saw the young woman nod her head slowly. Hogan moved his hand out and smiled wide. Mary looked up into her fathers chocolate eyes when he spoke.
"I think that is a great name, and I do like it, and honored that you would name it after me. But Snow you don't have to name it after me. You will be the one that runs the store, not me. You should name it what you want too." He told her. Mary smiled then looked over to her Huntsman.
"I like Silver Wings a lot better." He saw that his love was going to say something then spoke before she could. "And you could name something in the shop after me." He watched as she smiled wide and giggled at this. Then when he spoke again did she smile wider then before.
"I am going to try to start a designing business after the war." He told her still not sure that he could do it. He looked over to his love when she said in the most encouraging voice.
"Oh Peter, I know that you will make beautiful dresses and outfits. I know that you can do it. Like I said you design and I will open a bakery up." He smiled wide at her words, then told her.
"Alright, but you call your bakery Silver Wings." He told her. Mary smiled a loving smile and nodded her head. Then they all looked over at Klink when he now spoke up.
"What will you call your brand and business? They will both need names." Klink asked and stated. Newkirk narrowed his brows and thought about names. Then everyone saw a large smile come to his lips. Mary narrowed her eyes when she saw this. He looked over at her and said the names.
"Well the business store will be called Gold Hearts, and the brand will be called Diamond Heart." Mary smiled wide at his words as her face redden slightly. Her and Newkirk didn't look over when they heard Hogan say.
"I like those names." He looked over at his love who was smiling at him. Then all looked over at LeBeau when he asked his friend.
"What kind of things will you make?" Newkirk went to tell them but stopped himself. Klink saw this then told him.
"Come on son. We all know that you can make anything that you want too, but what is the one thing that you love to design?" He asked him while Kinch, Carter and LeBeau raised a brow each when the older man called their friend son. The younger man smiled wide, then told the truth on what he did love to design and make.
"I loved making Mary's dress, and I did like making the dress for Hilda's mum. But what I really did like making was the wedding gown." He looked over at Mary when he heard her sweet voice.
"Then make wedding gowns." Newkirk smiled wide, but smiled a loving smile when she told him next. "No matter what you make or design it will look amazing on anyone." With a nod of his head he told them what would be in his shop.
"In the store which is named Gold Hearts will be different wedding gowns." Then Mary saw the look in his eyes like she had before when he was about to make her first dress. She narrowed her eyes and raised her arm up. Placing her elbow on the table and pointing her pointer finger at him she spoke.
"What are you thinking about? I know that look, and that means that you are up to something again." Newkirk smiled wide then told her what he was up to.
"I will make wedding gowns to sale, but the other dresses and outfits will be for you." He told her. Mary felt her heart warm at this. She smiled wide then told him.
"Peter you know that you don't have too… never mind… you will do it anyway so okay." She said with a smile and a wave of her hand. He smiled wide at his loves words.
After everyone had ate their dinner is when Mary moved the cake over to her love. Newkirk saw the cake. He smiled wide when he saw the Tudor Roses on the cake. Then he saw the roses that were white and gold. He was about to ask when his Vater leaned in and told him that it was a symbol of him and Mary. Newkirk smiled wide at this, then saw the two crowns on the top of the cake. He looked over when Mary came back in with a knife to cut the cake.
"Why is there two crowns on top?" He asked her. Mary smiled and told him.
"Well the bigger one is yours and the smaller one is mine." She told him with a loving smile. He reached to get the knife to cut the cake, but she stopped him by saying.
"No not yet." She said as she placed a candle in the cake and lit it. "You have to make a wish." She told him. Newkirk smiled wide then thought of a wish to make. He blew out the flame, and everyone started to ask him.
"What did you wish for?" Carter asked. Newkirk looked at him and told his young friend.
"I can't tell you, then it will not come true." He smiled wider when Hogan out of no where said.
"Andy?" Everyone looked over at him. Newkirk looked over at him and shook his head.
"Nope, still not my middle name." He and Mary laughed when they saw him start to think again. Then looked up at Kinch when he asked his Commanding Officer.
"Wait his middle name starts with an A?" Hogan nodded his head as the other started to call out names.
"Andrew?" Asked Carter.
"Alexander?" Asked LeBeau.
"Anthony?" Asked Kinch.
"Nope none of those." He told them with a large smile. Mary looked up at her Vater who was shaking his head slowly. She cut a piece of cake then handed it to her love. Newkirk thanked her then took a bite of the cake. They watched his eyes get wide then look over at his love. Mary looked at him and felt herself get nervous.
"Peter do you not like it?" She asked him. All the men there saw her stiffen up and a small flicker of fear shine in her eyes. Newkirk saw this and sat the cake down. He stood up and slowly took her hands into his. With a large smile he told her.
"Mary this cake is bloody great." Everyone watched as the young lady relaxed at his words.
"It is my take on Victoria Sponge." She told him with a large smile, then added. "I told you that I would make you one." He smiled then remembered that she had told him that, on the day they had first met.
"Well I said then that it sounded damn good, and I was right. Mary this cake is amazing." He then went to lean down to kiss her, but saw still a little bit of fear in her eyes. Smiling wide he asked her.
"Mary, may I kiss you?" He asked her. She giggled then nodded her head. He leaned down and kissed her on the lips. After the kiss broke, and Newkirk sat back down in his chair. His eyes watched his love start to cut everyone a piece of cake. Mary handed her father a piece of cake, then told LeBeau to go and get Schultz so that he could have a piece too. As the Frenchman went to get the fat Sergeant is when Mary looked up at her Vater.
"Vater, may I ask you something?" Klink looked up at her with a smile.
"Ja Tochter." Hogan smiled at his love when he spoke in his native tongue. Hogan then saw his loves eyes go wide at what their daughter asked him.
"Vater, if Peter and I are going to do something that we have always wanted to do. Then how about you go back and get your medical degree?" Everyone looked over at him when she said this.
"Mary, I don't think that I could do that." He told her. As LeBeau and the Sergeant as well as Hilda walked in, they heard Mary ask the older man.
"Why not? I know that you would be a wunderbar doctor." She told him with a sweet smile. Klink smiled at her and told her the truth.
"Mary, I am too old to go back and try again. In the years that I have been out of medical school they have came up with new medication, and I don't know if I can keep up with it now." He admitted to her. He looked over when he heard his love tell him.
"If you can keep up with me, then you can go back and get your medical degree." He told him in a loving voice, but also in a playful one as well. Hilda looked at her boss and smiled when he said.
"Robert, just because I can keep up with the trouble you cause doesn't mean that…" He watched as his daughter stepped beside his love and they both did a pout with their lower lips. Sighing and rolling his eyes he said. "Fine, I will go back and see, but if it turns out that I can't. I don't want to hear either one of you bug me about it." He told them and then heard them both say at the same time.
"We won't." Everyone laughed at this. Newkirk looked over at his Vater and told him.
"Yeah you do have two of them now." Klink sighed and told him.
"Oh I know, and I'm with the older one and your with the younger one." They both laughed at this, as Hilda then smiled wide. 'So they are together.' She thought to herself. 'Finally, I thought it would take forever before that happened.' She added in her mind.
After everyone had their cake, they were all sitting in the living room. Klink and Hilda was in the kitchen with Mary helping her clean up. They had told her that they would help clean up and put things away. In the living room the guys had just told their friend that they would pay him when the war ended and they were in London. Newkirk started to laugh loudly then told them that he knew that the two Colonel's would end up together, because the way they talked and acted around each other. Hogan was sitting beside his best friend and smiled a sheepish smile when Newkirk looked over at him with a large grin. After things had calmed down Hogan pulled out a small long box, and handed it to Newkirk. His best friend looked at it with a raised brow. Hogan nodded his head at him for him to open the box. Newkirk opened the box and saw a knife inside. He looked over at Hogan, when he told him.
"That knife was my mother's fathers. She gave it to me to past down to my son, and sense you are with my daughter… your in away a son."
"in-law." Carter said under his breath. Hogan and Newkirk looked over at him when he said this. The younger man smiled and said. "Was that the wind. It must be bad out there." He said with a large smile. Both men shook their heads at him. Newkirk looked over at his best friend.
"Thank you, and maybe…" He looked in the other room to see if he could see Mary. "That will come true someday." Hogan smiled wide at this. Mary walked out and saw her love with the gift. She smiled at him, then looked at the knife.
"That is a nice knife. Where did you get it?" She asked him.
"Your dad gave it to me." Mary smiled then looked at her father. Hogan told her why he did it, and he saw his sweet daughter smile wide at him. Then Klink came in and sat down next to his love. The older man saw the gift his love had gave the younger man, then he moved and pulled something out of his pocket. He handed it to the young man that he called son.
"Here, this is for you and don't you dare say you can't take it." He told him. Newkirk opened the box that was a ring box. He opened the box, and saw a ring that would fit him. The ring was a signet ring, that had a medusa coin within the ring. He looked up at his Vater with a raised brow.
"Why are you giving this to me?" He asked him. He watched the older man smile wide then tell him.
"That ring has been in my family for thousands of years. It has been pass down to every first born son within the family. My brother didn't want it, so it was given to me. I have no children by blood, and I see you and call you son. So I thought that I would give it to you." He told him with a large smile. Newkirk smiled at this, then looked over at Mary as she looked at it.
"Danke Vater." Klink smiled wide when he heard the young man call him father. Then everyone saw Mary move a brown paper that was tied up with string from behind her back. Newkirk looked up at her as she placed it in front of him.
"What is this?" He asked her.
"I was going to give this to you earlier, but then found out that it was your birthday. So I thought it would be a good birthday gift." She told him. Newkirk smiled wide at his love. He sat down the paper on his lap, and untied the string. As he untied the string, Mary could feel herself get nervous. 'Please like it.' She prayed in her mind. Newkirk opened the paper then looked up at Mary when he saw what was inside. Everyone watched him pulled out a dark blue leather jacket with black leather strings. The strings made many X's on each side on the chest. The strings were near the arms, but were still on the chest. There were even leather strings going down the sides of the arms on the jacket. He looked at what his love had made him then noticed that there was a hood on it as well. Newkirk smiled wide then took off his own RAF jacket, then put on his new one that his love had made him. He zipped up the zipper that stopped at his collar bone. He smiled wide as he looked at his arms. The jacket could be warm in winter and was light enough to be warn in warmer weather.
"Do you like it?" She asked him. Newkirk stood up, and looked at the jacket again, then at his love.
"I do. Mary, I love it. I can't believe you made this for me." He told her with a large smile.
"That is amazing!" Carter said looking at his friend.
"That is pretty nice Newkirk." Kinch told him with a large smile.
"Oui cette veste est magnifique." LeBeau said in awe that Mary could have made something so wonderful in just a short amount of time. Mary and Newkirk looked over at her father and his best friend when he spoke.
"Yeah that is amazing." Mary smiled at her father then told him.
"I am making you one too, but not like this one." She told him. Hogan smiled wide at her, then looked at his love when she told him.
"And Vater I am making you something too, as well as all of you." She told them all. Everyone smiled wide at her words. Newkirk glanced over at Klink when he told him.
"That is wunderbar."

After everyone had left to go back to the barracks, is when Mary and her love were alone in their room. Newkirk was looking at his new jacket in the mirror and was in awe that his love made this. It was when he heard the bathroom door open, is when he looked over at his love. His eyes widen as he saw her in a white shirred peasant tunic that she had made into a nightgown. The fabric covered her, but only stopped at her mid thigh. The long sleeves covered her arms, but was off her shoulders. She giggled at the look on his face, once again he had a lopsided smile. His eyes looked down her body then made their way back up.
"Wow Mary, you look great in that." He told her. She smiled wide then walked closer to him. He watched his love reach her hands up and unzipped his jacket. Standing there he let her take it off of him. Once it was off is when she took off his shirt, and dropped it to the floor. Newkirk's eyes watched as Mary leaned down and kissed his right peck. Reaching his hand out, he slowly cuffed the back of her head as she kissed his bare chest. His breath caught in his throat as his head leaned back when Mary kissed her way down then back up his chest. She stopped at his collar bone and looked up at him with a sheepish smile. He looked down at her with half closed eyes, when she stopped. With a smile and small giggle she told him.
"I can't reach your lips. Your taller then me." This made him chuckle lightly. He stepped over to the bed, and sat down on the edge. Mary made her way over to him once more. She placed her hands on his chest then leaned down to catch his lips to make them hers. As she kissed him, she pushed him back onto the bed. Once he was laying back is when she kissed from his lips to his jaw bone, then moved down to his chest. Once she reached his lower ab is when he felt her hands undo his trousers. His eyes snapped open and leaned up to stop her. Mary looked up as he stopped her.
"Peter, what is it?" She asked him. As he sat up he told her.
"Mary, you don't have to do that?" He told her. She smiled wide at him as she leaned in, and whispered to him in a voice that made him grip the covers on the bed.
"How else am I going to pleasure you with my hand if you have your trousers on." He smiled to himself then looked into her snowy blue eyes and whispered back to her.
"Alright, but I get to pleasure you next." With a large smile she replied.
"Alright, but this time you use your mouth." He smiled wide at her with still half closed eyes.
Mary moved her hands down and undone his trousers. He lifted his hips to let her take them off of him. Once they were off and on the floor, Mary then did the same to his shorts. Newkirk moved himself more onto the bed to give his love room to get into bed. Mary stood there beside the bed while making eye contact with her love did she reach up to slowly remove her new nightgown. He licked his lips as she slowly let the clothing fall to the ground. Once it was on the floor she stepped out of it. His eyes looked over her bare body once again. He smiled to himself as she slowly got onto the bed. Once there she ran her hand up his chest to the side of his face. Leaning down Mary kissed her love on the lips once again. Newkirk raised his hand up to cuff his loves head. The kiss broke when Mary moved her lips to his jaw bone and down to his neck. She started to kiss and suck his neck. As she did this he could feel her hand run down his stomach to his hard member. He gasped as she started to stroke him in a nice slow pace. Closing his eyes, Newkirk moaned out as he felt the combination of his loves hand on his member and her tongue now licking his neck. Mary smiled to herself as she heard him moan and breathed out her name.
"Mary." Newkirk snaked his arm around his love as she gave him pleasure. Her smile widen as she felt him start to buck his hips slightly to the now medium pace that she was now doing. Mary could feel his body tighten and move as she moved her hand up and down his very harden member all while still sucking the flesh on his neck.
"Oh… fuck… Mary." He breathed out as she was now in-between a medium and fast pace. He bucked his hips even more now, as he felt her tongue go from his love bite up to behind his ear. Mary moved her lips to his ear, and asked him in a low voice.
"Is that good my Huntsman?" Newkirk groaned out as he felt himself get even more harder at her words.
"Fuck yes." As his breathing quicken, he felt his member now begging for a release. He started to moan deeply and thrusted his hips even more. Smiling to herself, Mary started to move her hand faster. Pulling his love tighter to him as he turned his head to moan into her bare shoulder.
"Oh god Mary YES!" He yelled out into her shoulder. Mary smiled wider at her loves reactions of what she was doing to him. As she moved her hand now at the fastest pace she could do, is when he pulled her as close as he could get her to himself. Mary was almost on top of his chest as he bucked his hips even harder.
"Fuck, Fuck… I'm going to…" He moaned as his passion hit its tipping point. As he released his body tightened and his breath caught in his throat. Mary looked down at his face. Her loves eyes were closed tight as he continued to release his passion. It was when his body was calming down, is when he took a deep breath in. When he was calm half way down is when Mary started to stroke him again. She started out in the medium pace this time. Newkirk whined as he felt himself start to harden once more. Lowering her head, Mary started to lick his neck once again as she went from a medium pace to the fastest pace she could do again.
"Oh my god… Mary… Yes… more." He begged her as he was reaching the tipping point again. This time when his passion hit him, it felt as if he was never going to stop. His breath caught in his throat again as his body stiffened up once again. His hand quickly ran up to Mary's shoulder. After her love had calmed down and his energy was spent is when Mary smiled to herself as her love was panting harder than ever before. Newkirk opened his eyes and blinked many times. In all of his life he had never came that hard before. He didn't think that he was going to stop this time. As his body was now completely calm, is when he felt his muscles jump and jerk almost like before. The muscles jumped and jerked even more than before. When he felt his loves lips on his cheek did he look over into snowy blue eyes.
"Oh my god. Mary that was amazing. I have never came like that ever before." He admitted to her. His eyes watched a loving smile come to her lips.
"Really?" She asked him. Smiling wide as he shook his head no.
Then he moved, and rolled them over to where his love was under him. As he placed his weight on his arms is when Mary felt his semi harden member against her leg, and just barely touching her womanhood. As her love started to kiss her, Mary moaned as she felt the urge to place him within her. In her mind she knew that she had to wait before she could feel him within herself. Newkirk moved his lips from his loves lips down her jaw bone, and to her neck. He licked and sucked on her heated flesh as he felt her hand run down his back as the other one was on the back of his head. He soon moved his lips from her neck to her breast. Taking one into his mouth he felt his love dig her nails into his back. As he sucked and licked her breast that in returned made her whine out in pleasure. With his other hand he moved down to her womanhood and placed his finger inside once again. He rubbed his finger on the same spot at the top like he had before. He felt his loves body raise off of the bed as he rubbed the area like before.
"Oh… Peter." She moaned as she felt the combination of his mouth and tongue on her breast and his finger rubbing the wonderful spot. Newkirk then started to kiss her breast, then made his way kissing and licking down her stomach. When he reached her womanhood, did he look up at her. Mary had her head laying on the pillows looking into his blue flamed eyes that were shining with hot fire now. She nodded her head, then he lowered his. He kissed the inside of her inner thighs then moved to her womanhood.
Mary dropped her head back as she felt his tongue go to work. She quickly placed her hand over her mouth as he ran his tongue over the spot that gave her such pleasure. Mary tried to move her hips, but found that her love was holding them down. Even when he moved one hand away from one of her hips, she found that she still couldn't move them very much. Mary ran her other hand over her own body, and to her own breast. Then when he started to lick her womanhood, did he hear his love let out a loud covered moan.
"Oh fuck Peter." Mary pushed her hand onto her mouth even more as now her love started to suck on the spot. Newkirk felt his hard member rub against the bedsheets now. His member was once again begging for a release. Moving his hand and taking himself with in his own hand did he find some relief. His ears caught his love moaning louder now. He moved his tongue and started to flick the spot, is when he felt her arch her back.
"Oh god… Peter… YES!" She screamed into her hand. The scream was only loud enough for just them to hear. As he moved from licking, to sucking, to flicking the spot is when Mary knew that she was not going to last much longer. He felt her move herself down to meet his movements. Newkirk knew that she was about to hit her tipping point. As the passion rose within her, Mary ran her other hand down and ran it into her loves hair.
"OH FUCK PETER!" She screamed into her own hand as she hit her release. Her whole body shook and tighten at the same time. As his love hit her tipping point, so did he. He stroked himself as fast as he could as he heard his love release. He moaned loudly as he continued to lick and flick the spot with his tongue again. Mary whined out as she felt another wave of pleasure rise within her. This time when her passion hit, she could only let out a low moan. As her passion washed over her, Mary dropped her hand from her loves hair onto the bed. She clawed the bedsheet as the end of her passion washed over her.
Once he felt her body stop moving, did Newkirk moved up to lay beside her. As he watched her hand fall from her mouth did he hear just how hard she was panting. He smiled to himself as he leaned down to kiss her on the lips. Once Mary felt his lips onto hers, did she move her arms up and wrap them around his neck. Chuckling as his love pulled him down onto her. Once the kiss broke and he leaned back is when Mary said breathlessly.
"That was fucking great." She placed her hand on her chest as she still tried to catch her breath. Her eyes looked over into his blue flamed eyes. Mary smiled wide as he asked her.
"I take it you really liked that?" She smiled wide then moved her head to her loves chest.
"I did, and I only want to feel that with you, and you alone." She told him. Newkirk smiled then leaned his head down to kiss the side of her forehead. It was when he moved, is when Mary let out a whine. He looked over at her, and laughed lightly at what he saw. Mary had a little pout that made her look like her father. 'Oh good god. They are alike.' He thought to himself.
"Mary, we have to clean up, and change the bedsheets." He told her. Then Mary nodded her head then moved to get out of bed. Newkirk quickly caught her when she almost fell. Mary looked up at him when he told her.
"Well I guess I am better then what I thought." She narrowed her eyes at him when he said this. He then told her that afterwards, some people have a hard time standing. Then he sighed when Mary gave him another funny look. He smiled then told her.
"Some people that have a hard release like that, can have trouble standing and walking." Then she nodded her head while letting a small oh out. Once she could stand, they changed the sheets to the bed. When Mary was smoothing out the covers, is when an idea came to her.
"Peter, could we take a bath this time?" She asked him. Newkirk smiled wide and nodded his head.
"Yeah I think we can." They both walked into the bathroom and shut the door. As Mary ran the water, Newkirk got them some towels. He laid them to the side as the tub filled up with warm water. His eyes watched his love stand up then look over to him. He smiled wide as she walked over and stood on her tiptoes to kiss him on his lips. He kissed her back, then wrapped his arms around her waist. Once the tub was filled, Newkirk got in first. After he had sat down is when Mary got in and sat in front of him. She laid her back against his chest and sighed deeply.
"Are you happy?" He asked her. Mary smiled wide and leaned her head back to tell her gold heart.
"Yes I am. Are you?" She asked him. Newkirk smiled wide like his love had done, then told his diamond heart.
"Yes I am. I love you my diamond hearted Snow." This made her smile a loving smile.
"I love you too, my gold hearted Huntsman." He then leaned his head down and kissed her shoulder.
"I will love you until my dying breath." He told her the truth. Mary smiled at this and told him.
"I will always love you, and I don't want anyone else to love, but you." She leaned her head back, and Newkirk kissed her on the lips.

As he was sitting on the train, he looked up and out the window. His eyes looked at his reflection in the window. The German uniform he had on, fit him well. He looked up as he heard the man call out the next stop. As the train pulled into the station, did he stand up, and opened the door to his apartment that he was sitting in. He then moved out into the hallway within the train. The Captain walked down the hall of the train to the exit. When he got off of the train, he looked over to see three men standing there looking at him. They walked up to him, and he felt himself get nervous.
"Herr Captain, we have been waiting for you." He raised a brow at them then looked down at his uniform. He saw that this was indeed a Captain's uniform. He looked up at them as the one on the far right spoke to him.
"Herr Captain, we were told to come and meet you here. We were also told that you were going to go to the Stalags and make sure everything was in order with them." He smiled a wide smile as the young man told him this news.
"Ja I am. We will go to Stalag 13 first." He told them then saw all of them narrow their brows at him. He walked over to the one on the other end, and spoke to him in a low hateful voice. "We will go there first boy. Now go and get the car!" He yelled in the young man's face. The young man nodded his head, and ran to get the car. He smiled to himself then watched as the other two moved to get 'his' bags. Looking around the station he saw a sign. He read the sign out loud to himself.
"Hammelburg." His smiled turned into an evil grin. Moving his hand into his pocket. He then pulled out his hand and looked at a photo that he had been carrying around with him this whole time. He looked at the photo that he had taken of them together. When he looked at the large smiles on their faces did he feel his blood run hot with hatred for them both. In a low voice he spoke to himself again.
"I will kill you both for making me look like a fool." He closed his eyes and imagine his hands on her body, and the look on his face as he took her in front of him.
"Herr Captain, the car is here." One of the men said. He opened his eyes and looked at the man.
"How long before we get to Stalag 13?" He asked them. The same young man told him.
"We will be there tomorrow evening, around 5:00." The man nodded his head and smiled wide. He walked to the car and got in. The three men got in the car as well. Two of them in the front, and the other was in the back with him. He closed his eyes, and thought of so many ways to hurt, and or kill them both. In his mind he thought.
'I will kill that little whore, and the one who made her. Colonel Hogan you will watch your daughter be taken by me, then I will kill her with my bare hands. I think I will smash her head in until it is as soft as a boiled apple. Then after that I will stab you in the gut to where there is no way anyone can save you. You will watch her die, and I will watch you die. The Kommandant of the camp will let me do this. I know he has to hate you as much as I do. You and Mary are demon's from hell that walk among us good people. I will send the both of you back to hell where you both belong.' As George smiled wide and opened his eyes, did the young man be side him see. The young man's eyes widen at the man beside him, the smile was like the devil about to feast upon an innocents heart. The young man looked ahead then over at the window. 'We are in a car with the devil himself.' He thought to himself as freezing fear took ahold of his body.
