Klink awoke to find his love's head on his chest. His eyes looked over to the window to see that it was still dark out. He looked over at the clock, and saw that it was four in the morning. He smiled at the feeling of his young love beside him. A larger smile came to his lips as he thought of something that he and his love was suppose to talk about, but never gotten a chance too. The older man slowly moved away from his loves arm. He made his way into the bathroom, and closed the door half way behind him. Klink moved to put on his uniform trousers, and his jack boots. The older man turned his head over when he heard his love move in the bed. He slowly moved over to the door, and peeked out. He watched his love move his arm out to feel where he was. Once again a large smile came to his lips. His large smile turned into a large grin; when he saw the young man narrow his brows without opening his eyes just yet. Hogan opened his eyes and looked around the room.

"Will?" He called out his loves name. The young man looked over at the bathroom door as it opened more. His eyes widen at the sight of his love in the uniform trousers, and jack boots.

"Guten morgen mein witziger Fuchs." The older man grinned wider as he saw his young love smile a lopsided smile.

"Morning." Hogan said as he eyed his love up and down. Narrowing his eyes in a playful, and lustful way he added. "Get in bed." Klink smiled and walked slowly toward the bed. Hogan now narrowed his eyes even more at his love; who was teasing him. The younger man threw the covers back on the bed; then sat on his knees on the bed. When the older man was finally standing next to the bed; the young man placed his hands on the man's well built chest.

"I have to say that this is a good view to wake up to." He told his older love. Klink smiled and placed his hands on Hogan's waist.

"It is." He told him as he leaned down to captured the younger man's lips for himself. They kissed each other with hunger; as their hands ran over each other's bodies. Once the lustful kiss broke; Hogan looked into his loves baby blue eyes.

"Is it odd that I am nervous? I have not done this in along time." He asked and stated. Klink smiled and told him.

"No… I am a little nervous too. Like you I have not done this in a very long time… But we don't have to do this if you don't want too. I don't want to make you do this… I know that your last time was with…" Hogan cut his love off by saying.

"No I want too… I mean; you half dressed up for me." He said with a lustful smile. Klink smiled at this, and placed his head next to his loves.

"Then how about we have some fun this morning?" He asked him in a low voice. The older man felt his loves body shiver at his words. Then in a low voice; Hogan replied.

"I can't wait." This made the older man smile wide; then was shocked when he was pulled onto the bed.

Hogan smiled up at his love; who was now above him. The younger man's arms found there way around his loves neck, pushing his head down for a deep kiss. The older man smiled when he felt one of his loves arms move down, and pull at his uniform trousers. He broke the kiss and looked into his loves chocolate eyes in the low lit room. He smiled as he saw the want for him within the younger man's eyes.

"Robert are you sure you want this?" He asked him. Hogan smiled wide then nodded his head.

"Yes I do, but we will have to be quiet though." He told him. The older man raised a brow and asked.

"Do you think that you can be quiet?" He watched as his love raised his brows, and really thought about it. Then he admitted the truth.

"You know, I don't know if I can or not." Klink smiled and chuckled lightly.

"Well if you don't think you can, then maybe we shouldn't do it at all." He told him; then moved to get off of the younger man, but found that he couldn't. He looked down at his love with a raised brow. Hogan smiled as he snaked his arms around his loves neck again. He pulled the older man closer to his lips.

"Well if I feel like I can't; then I can just bite the pillow, or you can shut me up with those lips of yours." This made Klink smile wider at the younger man's words. He then leaned his head down, and started to kiss his love with passion. They kissed each other heavily, while their hands ran over each other's bodies once again. Klink smiled a small smile as he heard his young love let out a moan within the kiss; when he had lowered his hips onto the younger man's, and started to rock them. Hogan ran his hands down the older man's back and to his hips. He then pushed his loves hips down even more onto his. They both let out a low moan as their covered member's rubbed against each other. Klink felt his love start to take off his uniform trousers. He broke the heated kiss, and sat up on his knees. He removed his loves hands from the clothing; which made Hogan narrow his brows at him. Smiling wide Klink placed his hands on the younger man's chest, and ran them down to his pajama bottoms. He placed his fingers inside of the clothing, and pulled them down. Hogan lifted his hips to let his love take the piece of clothing off of him. Once off; Klink leaned down and started to kiss his loves chest. Hogan placed his hand on the back of his loves head as he kissed and licked his peck. His hand ran over the man's shoulder to his back; as his other hand remained on his loves shoulder. The older man kissed, and licked down the youngers body until he made his way to his loves hard member. He stroked his love with his hand a few times; then took him into his mouth. Hogan's breath caught in his throat as he felt his love roll his tongue around his harden member. He rested his hands on his loves head and shoulder.

As the older man bobbed his head up and down; Hogan moved one of his hands up to his mouth to stop a loud moan from escaping his lips. As the older man took his love out of his mouth; he then kissed his way up the well built chest. His lips soon reached hungry lips; that kissed him heavily. Hogan moaned in the kiss as he felt his loves hand start to stroke him. When Klink felt his love buck his hips against his hand; he sat up again. The young man narrowed his half closed eyes at him. This made Klink chuckle; then moved off the bed, and took off his uniform trousers, and his jack boots. Hogan's eyes watched his love remove his clothes. Without knowing it he licked his lips, and waited for his love to come back to him. Once the uniform trousers were off, and the jack boots; Klink moved back onto the bed. He placed himself between his loves leg's, and captured the hungry lips once again. They both moaned out as their harden members touched each others once again.

"Will… I can't take much more… please just…" The older silenced the younger by placing his lips over his. While kissing him; Klink moved himself into his love. Hogan gasped at the feeling of his love within him now.

"Oh fuck Will." He breathed out in the kiss; as the older man started to move within him.

It didn't take long for the older man to build a good rhythm. They both felt their flesh start to become slick with sweat. Hogan moaned into his loves mouth. He had never felt like this before. When he and Jason had done this; it was nothing like this. That was rough and mostly one sided. But with Klink; he felt himself feel things that he had never felt. His skin felt like it was on fire, and his hands had minds of their own. He had no control over his arms, hands, or his body. He was finally feeling the love that the older man felt for him for so long. Hogan knew that he had dreamed of feeling this, but never thought that it would actually happen. Wrapping his arms around his lovers back; he pulled him closer to him. Hogan started to say the older man's name over and over again within the heavy kiss; as he felt his passion building to the tipping point. Hogan gasped as he felt his love start to slam into him. The speed that the older man was now thrusting, and the mixture of him hitting the right place with in him; it made the younger man claw the older man's back.

Meanwhile with Klink; he felt the younger man's arms move around his back and pull him closer. He was finally getting to show the younger man that had his heart for so long; the love that he felt for him. When he heard in the deep kiss; his love softly saying his name over and over again; it made him feel happy and whole again. Knowing now that it was the right time to pick up his pace; Klink started to thrust harder into his young lover. He knew that he was hitting the right spot within his love now. He moaned out deeply as he felt his back being clawed. Both moaned loudly in the kiss as their passion hit their peak. Klink moved his hips faster as the second wave washed over them. Hogan bucked his hips when the second wave hit them both. They rode out their passion until they couldn't move. As their bodies calmed down; they broke the kiss and sucked in air that their lungs were begging for. Klink rolled over to the side of his love; not sure if he could be able to move again at the moment. They both breathed heavily, and took in what they both had wanted to do for years now. It was Hogan that broke the somewhat silence of the room.

"Wow… that was amazing… I… I didn't know that you loved me that much." He chuckled lightly.

"Well… now you know…" Klink breathed out heavily. He rolled his head over to see chocolate eyes looking into his baby blues. He smiled wide as he heard his young lover say.

"I love you."

"I love you too." His eyes watched as a large smile came to his loves lips.

Newkirk opened his eyes to the low lit room. The sun was just starting to come up. If he had to guess; it was around five in the morning. He looked over to look at his sleeping love, but found that she was not there. He frowned some; then smelt the scent of food cooking. With a smile he slowly got out of bed. He knew that Mary would yell at him from not staying in bed. He glanced over at the mirror, and saw his wound on his chest. Looking at it more in the mirror; he noticed that it was healing a lot faster then what he thought it would. 'Maybe this coming Sunday, I can make her ring.' He thought to himself with a large smile. Newkirk looked down at the floor; as he thought of what design to make his love's ring.

"What are you doing up?" He glanced up into the mirror to find his love walking over to him. Newkirk looked over to his right as Mary walked up to him. His eyes glanced over the outfit that she had on. With a smile he saw that she was wearing dark brown pants; with the same blue button up shirt that she had warn the first time they had met. When she placed her hot hands on his cool flesh; it made Newkirk hum at the feeling of the warmth on his cool skin. He looked into her snowy blue eyes, and saw worry within them.

"I was going to go to the kitchen, and watch you dance around while you were cooking." He said with a smile. Mary raised a brow at this.

"What?" She asked him with a giggle.

"When you are cooking; it looks like you are dancing. I have to say that I love to watch you." He told her with a loving smile. Mary blushed at this; then felt the coolness of his skin under her touch.

"Peter your not walking out of this bedroom without a shirt and jacket on." She told him as she walked over to the closet. His eyes watched her take out a navy blue long sleeved loose neck turtleneck. Newkirk smiled when he saw the shirt. Mary walked over, and put the shirt over his head. She then helped him put his arms through. He watched his love reach over to pick up the sling, and helped him put it on. Newkirk smiled at Mary; as she pulled his shirt down more for him. He smiled wider as her snowy blue eyes looked into his blue flamed ones. He stepped closer to her, and laid his head onto hers. Mary smiled as she placed her hands on his lower waist.

"Maybe after breakfast; you can help me take a bath?" He asked her. Mary looked up at him with a loving smile.

"I would love too. It's been awhile since I have seen you without clothes on." She teased him. Newkirk's face grew red when she said this.

"Well… I have to say that… uhmm… it's been awhile since I have seen you without clothes on either." He said with a redden face now. Mary smiled at him then leaned up on her tip toes, and kissed him on the lips.

"Then it is a good thing that I am not cooking very much for breakfast then." She told him while still on her tip toes. As she leaned back down; she could see his eyes large and his face blood red now. Newkirk glanced away; then back at her, and saw the large smile on her face.

"Yeah…" He squeaked out; then cleared his throat. Mary giggled when he did this; then listened as he added. "Mary you know that I will not be able to do that for awhile so…" Mary smiled at him with a loving smile.

"I know that. But that doesn't mean that you can hide your body from me… I can control myself not to jump you." She told him with a blush on her cheeks now. Newkirk smiled at this and chuckled; then leaned down and kissed her on the lips. Once the kiss broke; Mary helped him out of their bedroom. With her help Newkirk made his way into the kitchen. He sat down in a chair at the table that was in the room.

He sat there and watched his love move back over to the stove. She grabbed the kettle and placed it on the stove. Newkirk smiled at the thought of having some hot tea, and not coffee on this morning. He smiled to himself as she walked over to the table. His eyes watched her start to cut some apples up. As she cut the fruit; Newkirk started to ask her some questions.

"Snow?" Mary glanced at her love.

"Yes my sweet Huntsman?" Newkirk smiled at this.

"What is your favorite shape?" He asked her. Mary narrowed one brow, and raised the other; while she slowly looked over toward him. Newkirk bit his lower lip so not to laugh at the look his love was giving him.

"I'm sorry what?" She asked him; then saw the look within his eyes. Newkirk leaned back as his love leaned forward toward him. "What are you up to?... I have seen that look in your eyes before… and you were up to something then." She asked and stated. Newkirk smiled a large smile and shook his head.

"Nope, not up to anything… I just wanted to ask a question is all." He said smiling wider. Mary leaned up; still with her brows narrowed, and told him.

"I have always like snowflakes… I use to watch the snow fall from my window." She smiled to herself as she remembered. As her smile came to her lips; Newkirk smiled as well. "I would set at the window in my room, and rest my chin on the bottom of the window. I would then watch the different snowflakes that would fall on top of each other." She added. As Mary placed the apples into a pot; Newkirk asked another question.

"Was your ring in your dream a snowflake?" He asked her. Mary sat the pot on the stove and took off the kettle. She turned around, and walked over with a cup in her other hand. As she poured the hot water in the cup, and placed the tea within the cup; she spoke.

"No it was just a round opal, but I think that would look very pretty. A rose gold ring with an opal snowflake." She smiled wide at this thought. Newkirk smiled as well; then looked over when his love spoke again. "But I bet a Tudor rose would look even prettier though." He narrowed his brows at this; as Mary walked over to the stove to check on everyone's breakfast.

"What do you mean?" He asked her then took a drink of his tea. Mary walked back over to the table, and stood in front of her love.

"Do you remember the roses I put on your birthday cake?" She asked him. Newkirk nodded his head at this.

"Yeah I do… Why?" Mary smiled at him.

"The white rose within the gold one.." She stated. The older man nodded his head at this. "Well I think that would be a beautiful ring. With a white opal stone within the middle rose." Mary giggled at the end. Newkirk smiled wide showing his teeth at this. He then asked his love.

"Would you ever want that to be your ring?" He asked her. Mary smiled at him, and leaned down to where she was a few inches from his face.

"I would yes, but not right now." Newkirk narrowed his brows at this. Mary smiled and placed her hands on the sides of his face and told him. "What I mean is; is that ring would be too much money right now. You can get that ring later on, but Peter… I have a feeling that you are fishing for ideas for a ring for me." Mary smiled as she saw her love sigh and look away.

"I am… I just want to get you something that shows you how much I love you." As he said this he looked back at her. Mary leaned back up, and told him.

"Peter… you don't have to spend a lot of money on a ring just to show me that you love me… A ring, or a string that is tied around my finger; I know that you love me… And you don't have to buy a ring to show me the amount of your love for me. You ran an arrow threw your chest; took a bullet to the arm, and came back from death to be with me…" As Mary said this; Newkirk smiled even wider. "Peter I know you love me, and if you want to get me a ring later on down the road; then do it.. If you have the money that is, but other than that…" Mary leaned down once again to where she was a few inches from his lips, and added. "I would be happy with a string around my finger… And you don't have to pull out all the stops like Papa asked Vater to do." She ended with a small laugh. Newkirk laughed at this. Mary leaned down to kiss her love on the lips. Once the kiss broke Newkirk spoke about something that he had to know.

"Mary, I want to ask you two more things." He stated; then chuckled as Mary leaned up and sat down in a chair. He chuckled again as she leaned forward to show that she was listening.

"And what are these two more questions?" She asked. Newkirk smiled and asked her.

"When we do go back to England; would you want your dad and our Vater to live with us? And the other one is; what would you want for your birthday?" He asked her. Mary narrowed her eyes at the last question.

"Well I would love for my Papa and.." She giggled. "Our Vater to live with us, but I don't know. You really don't have to get me anything for my birthday." She told him. Newkirk narrowed his eyes at her. Mary smiled and went on. "You loving me is all I would want really." She said with a smile. Mary stood up and walked over to check on breakfast. As she did this; Newkirk looked to the side and thought to himself. 'I will make her ring this coming Sunday, and…' His thought was interrupted by a small amount of pain that ran from his chest to his side. 'Okay I can't make her ring this Sunday… So what am I going to do? I can't asked Vater to do it, because she will know then.' He thought to himself. Then he looked back over toward Mary as she walked over with the fresh bread that she had just taken out of the oven. He looked at her hand and noticed a ring on her pointer finger. Mary went to walk off, but stopped when he spoke up.

"Is that one of the rings that Hochstetter bought you?" He asked her. Mary looked down at a silver marquise marcasite blue lapis ring. She looked up at her love with a worried look.

"Yes it is; do you want me to take it off? I'm sorry that I put it on. I will give Onkel back the rings." She said as she started to take off the ring, but stopped when he spoke to her.

"No Snow; you don't have to take it off. I was just asking." He chuckled lightly at this; then continued. "I am not upset that you are wearing a ring that a man that sees you as a niece had bought for you. I was only asking a question my sweet diamond heart." He smiled a loving smile at her. Mary smiled a loving smile at him, and took the bread off the pan. As she placed the bread on a plate; Newkirk thought to himself. 'I could draw out the design of the rings, and give it to Hochstetter. He could take it to a jewelers to be made.' He looked to the side and thought on away to pay the Major for the rings, and how to pay him back for doing this. Newkirk glanced behind him to see his Commanding Officer walk into the kitchen.

Hogan walked over to his daughter, and kissed her on the head. Newkirk smiled to himself as he watched his best friend walk over, and sit down in a chair that was at the table. He noticed as his friend sat down carefully into the chair. With a large smile Newkirk looked down at the table. Hogan glanced up to see the smile on his friends face. He looked away, and felt a blush come to his cheeks. With Mary; she looked up as her Vater walked into the kitchen. She smiled at him as he looked at what she was cooking.

"I bet that you are glad to be cooking today?" He asked her. Mary nodded her head and told him.

"I am actually. I get to cook for all of you, and take care of my gold heart too." Newkirk smiled wider when his love said this.

"Well I am glad that you got to go out and have fun yesterday." Klink told her with a smile. Mary smiled at him and went back to fixing their food. Klink walked over toward the table, and saw the blush still on his loves cheeks. His smile grew wider when he looked over toward his nonblood son, and saw the smile on his face. Klink leaned down, and kissed his love on his hot cheek.

"Morning my witty fox." He said in a sweet voice. Hogan smiled a sheepish smile at this, and looked up into his loves baby blues.

"Morning my brave phoenix." He said also in a sweet voice. Unseen to them; Mary smiled at this. She turned and asked her Vater.

"Vater, can you help me set the table?" Klink leaned back up and nodded his head.

"Yes I can." He told her. As they walked into the next room; Hogan glanced up to see Newkirk smiling wide at him. In the most calmest voice he could muster up; Hogan asked him.

"What?" Newkirk smile grew wider.

"Well it looks like that you two had a good night, or was it a good morning?" He asked his best friend. Hogan's cheeks grew hot once again.

"Shut… up… and it was a very good early morning." He said still with a sheepish smile as he slowly got out of his chair, but still hiss softly at the pain. He glanced over at Newkirk when he said.

"Oh yes it looks like you had a very good morning indeed." He said with a large smile. Hogan narrowed his eyes at him, and walked out of the room. Newkirk glanced back at his friend, and smiled wider. Hogan walked into the other room, and saw his love placing his plate on the table. He smiled to himself; as he saw the older man make sure that the plate was just right.

Once the table was set, and the food was in their plates; Mary helped her love into the next room. Newkirk sat down in the chair and took a drink of his tea. His eyes glanced back to his plate to see his love cut his food for him. He looked up at his friend and Vater as they both smiled at him. He looked over at his love who didn't look at him.

"You can't cut your food up with your arm in a sling." She told him with a smile on her lips. Newkirk smiled at her and leaned back into his chair. After she was done cutting up his food; Mary moved her chair beside her love. Klink raised a brow at this, and looked over toward his love. Hogan looked at him with a large smile. The older man looked back toward his nonblood daughter.

"Mary what are you doing?" He asked her. She said nothing, but picked up Newkirk's fork with her hand. Mary took the fork, and picked up some of the egg. As she held it up to her lips; she touched it with her lower lip. Hogan and Klink raised a brow at their daughter's action. Newkirk saw this and told them.

"She's making sure that it is not too hot." He told them and looked over toward his love, and added. "Mary you don't have to do that. I can eat it like it is now… I'm not a baby." He told her, but stopped when she held the fork up to his lips. Mary smiled at him and only said.

"Now my sweet Cariad; I know that you are not a baby, but I don't want you to burn your mouth." She told him with a loving smile. He smiled wide at hearing her speak Welsh, but then told her.

"My diamond Gariad; Tad didn't do that yesterday when you were out." Mary narrowed her eyes at this, and Newkirk took the egg off of the fork that was at his lips. Klink leaned his head back when Mary looked over toward him slowly with narrowed eyes.

"Why didn't you cut his food up for him yesterday, or cool it?" She asked him. It was then both Colonel's understood what the word Tad meant. Klink smiled and told her.

"Mary sweetheart, Peter is not helpless; he can cut his food and feed himself. He did good yesterday, and he can do that now." He told her with a loving smile. Mary looked over at her love when he spoke up again.

"He's right; I can do it myself." With a sigh; Mary handed the fork to her love.

"Alright… I was just trying to help, and to make you feel…" She trailed off on what she was going to say. All the men narrowed their brows at this.

"Make me feel… What?" Newkirk asked her. Mary looked over and told him with a sigh.

"Loved." She told her love in a low voice. The slightly older man smiled at this.

"Snow my diamond heart; you don't have to feed me to make me feel loved." Mary looked at him with a small smile. Newkirk smiled more and went on. "You just saying my name; makes me feel loved." Mary smiled wider when he said this. The two other men at the table smiled, and all started to eat their food.

While they ate; Hogan asked his daughter what all she was going to do next Sunday. They all smiled as she told them that she was going to the book store every Sunday after church. She told them the books that the older man was nice enough to find for her. While his love talked to her fathers; Newkirk thought on what the design would be for his Snow's ring. He smiled to himself, and thought how he was going to do this.

Once everyone was done eating, and the dishes were done; Klink went to his office to start the never ending paperwork. While Hogan went to Barracks 2; to talk to the others. Newkirk was now in his and Mary's room. He looked up toward the ceiling and thought of what else to put on the design of the ring. He looked up quickly as he heard his love walking toward the room. Newkirk closed the notebook and placed it under the bed. He smiled wide as Mary walked into the room. She stopped in her tracks and raised a brow at him.

"What were you doing?" She asked him. He smiled wide and shook his head quickly.

"Nothing." He said quickly. This caused Mary to narrow her eyes at him, but then shrugged it off for now. Mary made her way over to the bedside, and leaned over, and kissed him on the lips; this made Newkirk smile. After the kiss broke; Mary asked her love.

"Do you want to take a bath?" Newkirk smiled and nodded his head.

"Yeah I do… only if you take one with me?" He asked her. Mary smiled at him and told him.

"I don't know if that is a good idea. I think that you should take one by yourself today, and when you are more healed; then we will take one together." As she said this; she could see her love frown some. Mary smiled and kissed him on the lips. Newkirk then smiled again.

Mary helped her love out of bed, and into the bathroom. Newkirk let his love help him take off his sling. Once the sling was off; Mary started to take off his clothes. His eyes spotted a smile and a blush on his loves lips, and cheeks. This caused him to also blush and smile as well. As her soft finger slid over his flesh; Newkirk felt himself get nervous again. He looked away again as Mary placed her finger's into his shorts. 'She has seen me before without clothes on… So why am I nervous again?' He asked himself. Mary looked up to see her love looking away from her with a bright blush on his cheeks. 'Why is he blushing? Is he nervous again?' She asked herself while holding in her giggle.

"Peter? Are you nervous again?" She asked him. Newkirk nodded his head without looking at her. Mary couldn't hold in her giggle now. "Why?" She added.

"I don't know." He said quickly in a sheepish voice. Mary giggled again at him, and leaned forward to kiss his collar bone. She smiled bigger as she heard her love let out a wine. Leaning her head back; Mary raised a brow at him with still a smile on her lips.

"What was that noise?" She teased him. Newkirk's face turned a darker red now.

"I don't know." He sheepishly wined out again. Mary giggled again as she leaned up, and kissed him on the cheek. Newkirk turned his head to look into her snowy blue eyes. His eyes then widen when his love quickly pulled down his shorts. As his face turned a deeper shade of red; Mary laughed.

"You are too cute at times." She told him and walked over to the tub. Newkirk closed his eyes at this, but opened them when he heard the water come on. He watched his love feel the water to make sure that it was not too hot. He smiled as he now watched her smile to herself when she got the water just right. Walking back over to her love; Mary then took off his bandages that were on his chest. When she took off the last one; she looked at his wound with a smile.

"It looks really good. It's healing quickly, but that still doesn't mean that you can go back to doing what you were doing before." She told him with a loving smile. Newkirk shook his head at this.

"No I don't think I can do that for awhile." He admitted.

Mary helped her love into the bath, and helped him set down in the tub. He smiled wide when she asked him if the water was too hot. With a loving smile; he told her no. Once the water was up to his upper chest; Mary turned the water off. She glanced back to see her love lean back, and enjoy the hot water. She watched his eyes close, and heard him hum out as he enjoyed his hot bath. Mary smiled and grabbed the wash rag, and started to dip it into the water. She reached over to grab the soap, and placed it in the rag.

Meanwhile Newkirk was loving the hot water on his skin. It had been along time since he had taken a bath. He opened his eyes when he felt a soapy rag run down his right side of his chest. He looked up to see his love washing his chest. He lifted his right arm up slightly to help her; Mary giggled when he did this. She ran the soapy rag over, and under his arm. As she did this; Newkirk thought to himself. 'I do feel like a baby now.' He was brought out of his thought when his love moved to the side of him. She ran the rag from his right upper shoulder to his back. Newkirk sat up to let the young woman clean his back. As Mary washed his back; he could feel himself start to relax even more. The rag was dipped into the hot water; then ran down his chest, and slowly over his wound. Smiling to himself; he watched his love slowly clean his wound. The feel of the soap on his wound; made him hiss slightly from the sting. Mary heard this and looked over toward him.

"Peter are you alright?" She asked him. He looked into her eyes as they widen some. "Did I hurt you?" She added. Newkirk smiled and shook his head.

"No you didn't hurt me. The soap just stings a little." He told her. Mary nodded her head, and reached over to grabbed the cup that her father had left in the bathroom; when he had washed her hair for her. She dipped the cup into the water, and slowly poured the water over the wound to wash the soap away from her loves wound. Once the soap was gone; Mary then sat the rag to the side, and started to pour the hot water over the older man's body. Newkirk hummed at the hot water as it ran down his back. Mary smiled and said in a loving voice.

"I take it that feels very nice?" She asked him. Newkirk smiled and nodded his head.

"It does." He smiled at the warmth. With a large smile; Mary slowly pushed her love's head up with her hand. She was met with blue flamed eyes.

"I have to wash your hair." Newkirk smiled wide, and nodded his head. He closed his eyes; as she slowly poured the water over her loves hair. Once it was wet; she reached over and grabbed the shampoo. Putting some in her hands; she then ran her hands threw his hair. After that was done; she grabbed the cup again and poured the water over the soapy hair. Mary smiled a loving smile as she poured the water over his hair again. 'His hair looks like melted chocolate.' She giggled at her thought. Newkirk heard the giggle and asked without opening his eyes.

"What are you giggling at?" He asked her. Mary smiled and said.

"Your hair looks like melted chocolate when I pour the water over it." She giggled again. This made the older man smile at hearing this. After a few more pours of the water over his hair; Mary sat the cup to the side. Newkirk opened his eyes to see his love staring down at him. With a loving smile she told him.

"Time to get out." Mary laughed as her love made a pout with his lower lip.

"Alright." He said not wanting to get out of the hot water, and to stand in the cold air in the room.

Mary helped Newkirk out of the tub, and dried him off. She patted his wound dry; so not to hurt him. He smiled at this caring action. Once he was dried off; his sweet Snow started to put the medicine on his wounds. Newkirk was happy to feel her dab the medicine on his wound with her fingertip this time. Feeling her warm touch on his skin gave him chills. Mary smiled when she saw the chills on his flesh. She then moved over to his left side, and put some of the medicine on is bullet wound. As she did this her right hand very softly touched his side. Newkirk chuckled at the touch, and pulled away some. Mary looked at him with a raised brow.

"Peter what is it?" She asked him with a giggle.

"I'm sorry that just tickled." Mary smiled at this; then narrowed her eyes at him.

"So you are ticklish?" She asked him. Newkirk looked at her with widen eyes.

"A little yes, and don't you dare tickle me…" He told her as he looked down; then looked up again. "And don't tell the others that I am. Then they will try to do it." He added. He watched a smile come to her lips as she stepped closer to him.

"Don't worry I will not tell them…" Newkirk saw the smile turn into a large grin. "I will not tell them about it… because I am the only one that can touch your bare skin." Newkirk smiled a sheepish smile when he saw the lust within her eyes. His sheepish smile turned into a lustful one when he replied.

"Yes you are… and I am the only one that can touch your bare skin." Mary smiled wider at the tone in her loves voice. She leaned up on her tiptoes and kissed her love on the lips. The kiss was a hungry one, and both wanted to go to the bed to see how this lustful kiss would play out. Mary ended the kiss and looked into her loves eyes. She could see the want for her within his eyes. She smiled and told him.

"We can't do that remember. You are still too hurt to show me how much you really love me." Newkirk frowned at this. He knew that she was right, but seeing the want for him in her eyes was hard for him to walk away from. With a heavy sigh; Newkirk finally spoke.

"I know, and I wish that I was fully healed." He admitted and looked down at the ground. Mary smiled wide and kissed him on the cheek.

"You will be soon my sweet Huntsman… you will be soon. Your wounds are looking very good. You must be a fast healer." Newkirk smiled and nodded his head.

"Yeah I have always been a fast healer." He looked over toward his love once again. This time Mary saw something else in his eyes. With a loving smile; she told him.

"Come on lets get your clothes on, and get you to bed. I know that you are tired; I can see it in your eyes." Newkirk smiled at this and nodded his head. 'She can read me like a book.' He thought happily to himself.

"True I am. The hot bath made me tired." He admitted to her. Mary smiled and started to put the bandages on her loves wounds.

Klink walked into his office and sat down at his desk. He sighed as he looked at the paperwork on his desk. Setting up in his chair some more; he started to look threw the papers. As he leaned forward, and started to sign a paper; the door of his office opened. Klink looked up to see Hilda walk into the office. In her hands were five large files. The older man sighed at the sight of the files. He looked up at Hilda with another sigh.

"Let me guess; I have to look over them and sign every single one of them?" He asked knowing the answer to his own question. The young woman nodded her head at him.

"Jawohl Herr Kommandant I am afraid so." She told him and placed the files on the older man's desk. Hilda watched her boss sigh again, and reach over to look at the top file.

"We both will be here all day, and night sending out these papers, and putting them away." He told her without looking at her. Hilda nodded her head at this.

"Ja Kommandant we will be." She told him. Hilda went to turn around, but stopped at the door. Klink noticed this and looked up from one of the files. He narrowed his brows together and asked.

"Fräulein Hilda what is it?" He asked her. Hilda turned around and spoke what was on her mind.

"Herr Kommandant… would it be alright if I bring my mother here tomorrow? She can help us with all of the files. She used to work at a factory in town doing paperwork, but she was let go at the start of the war." She asked and stated. Klink nodded his head as the young woman spoke; then thought about it. He glanced back at his desk and made a face. Hilda saw this and tried not to laugh at the face the older man was making. Klink looked back at the young woman and said.

"Ja please bring her in tomorrow. If we don't get help with this; then we will be at this for days on end." He told her. Hilda nodded her head at this.

"Alright I will bring her here tomorrow, and I will tell her tonight on what we will need help on." Klink nodded his head and smiled at her.

"Danke Fräulein Hilda." Hilda smiled at her boss, and went to walk out of the office, but stopped when the older man spoke again.

"Can you ask Schultz to tell Hogan to come here please?" Hilda smiled and nodded her head.

Klink looked back at his desk, and made the same face as he had done before. Then he smiled at the thought of seeing his now young lover again. His smile fell when the phone on his desk started to ring. He glanced over at the phone with narrowed eyes. Reaching over; he picked up the handset and spoke into the phone.

"Stalag 13 Kommandant Klink speaking." He said into the phone.

"Herr Oberst Klink this is Captain Ritter speaking. Major Hochstetter wanted me to call you, and tell you that he is coming to the camp here shortly, and will be staying the night." Klink raised a brow at this.

"Very well Captain; I will have the VIP Quarters ready for him." He told the young man.

"I will tell him, and I will be bringing him to the camp… I did want to check in on Fräulein Mary and Corporal Newkirk." Klink smiled at this news.

"I will tell Mary that both of you are coming here, and I say that she will be making lunch here soon. I know that she will ask you if you want to stay for lunch." Smiling an unseen smile; Ritter smiled at this.

"Very well Herr Oberst; we will be leaving within the next ten minutes." Klink smiled again as he hung up the phone. Klink leaned back into his chair, and thought to himself. 'Why is he coming here?... Robert must have told him to come here. The meeting must be tonight then.' The older man nodded his head at his thought. When the phone began to ring again; Klink looked over again with the same look as before. He reached over and grabbed the handset.

"Stalag 13 Kommandant Klink speaking." As Klink said this Hogan walked into the room. Hogan shut the door behind him. He didn't bother to lock it, because Hilda was in the next room getting herself some coffee. The older man looked up and saw his love. He moved over and grabbed a blank piece of paper, and wrote down something. Hogan saw this and took the paper when his love handed it to him. He read it to himself. 'Tell Hilda to have someone tell Mary that Hochstetter and Ritter are coming to the camp, and they will join us for lunch. And to get the VIP Quarters ready for Hochstetter too.' Hogan smiled at this, and turned toward the door and opened it. He whispered to Hilda what the note said. She smiled and said that she would go and tell Mary herself. The young Colonel nodded his head and walked back into the office. Hilda smiled to herself as he shut the door behind him.

The younger of the two smiled wide as he moved around his now older lovers desk to stand behind him. The younger man moved his arms, and draped them over his loves shoulders. He ran his hands slowly down his loves chest, and rested his chin on Klink's shoulder. He tilted his head to the side and kissed his love on the neck. Klink closed his eyes at this; then spoke into the phone.

"I'm sorry Sergeant could you say that again?" He asked. Hogan leaned up and moved around his love to look at him with narrowed eyes. Klink looked at his love and nodded his head at what was being said over the line.

"Ja I understand. How long will it be?" He asked. With a nod of his head Klink repeated what was said over the phone line. "Three days… very well. Will any of the food go bad?" He asked. Klink nodded his head and spoke once more. "Not much; that is good. I will replace the food that will go bad, but let me know when you are in Hammelburg." He said and hung up the handset. He looked over toward his love as Hogan asked.

"Food? The food that suppose to go to the churches?" Klink nodded his head.

"Yes, the roads are bad and this will make the truck late. Some of the food will go bad, but I think that our little girl has a lot of food to replace those that are no longer good." He said with a smile. Hogan smiled and nodded his head; then spoke.

"Yeah Kinch told me everything that Mary had bought. She bought a hell of a lot of different kinds of food." He chuckled a little; then smiled wide as he was pulled into his loves lap. Hogan smiled as he was now looking into his loves baby blue eyes. Both men leaned forward, and kissed each other. Once the kiss broke; Hogan went to kiss his love again, but Klink asked him.

"Did you ask Hochstetter to stay the night tonight?" Hogan leaned back and nodded his head.

"Yeah I did. The meeting is tonight at midnight… I thought I told you." Hogan looked away then back at his love when he spoke.

"No you didn't; then again you were out on the porch looking for our little girl for most of the evening yesterday." Klink said the first part dryly; then smiled at the end. Hogan rolled his eyes at this then spoke again.

"Well the meeting like I said is tonight at midnight in…" The older man saw his love make a face.

"Where at?" He asked.

"In a graveyard outside of Hammelburg… I wish it was somewhere else though… I hate graveyards at night." He said with the same look on his face. Klink smiled at the younger; then leaned in and kissed him on the lips. Hogan smiled in the kiss; then deepen the kiss by moving up, and wrapping his arms around his lovers neck. Klink wrapped his arms tightly around his young lover as the kiss got heated quickly. Hogan wined out when the older man pulled away.

"Robert we can't keep kissing like this. We have to be careful and make sure that no one knows that we are…"

"Together, in love, lovers." Hogan chuckled lightly. This cause the older man to smile wide.

"Yes to all of the above." Klink leaned in and kissed his love once more; then spoke again. "Maybe later we can pick up on this after you get back from the meeting." Hogan pouted some and wined out.

"Why do we have to wait? Can we just go in the back and… you know." Hogan moved both eyebrows up and down. Klink rolled his eyes at his love. 'He is so like a child at times… Well I guess in this case a sex-crazed teenager.' He thought to himself.

"Because Hochstetter is on his way here, and I don't think he should see this when he walks in." Hogan sighed heavily and leaned back.

"Alright fine… but we will finish this later tonight." He told him while pointing a finger at the older man. Klink smiled and nodded his head at this.

"Alright we will." He told him with a smile. Hogan smiled a large smile, and leaned in quickly to give his love a quick kiss; then got off of his loves lap. While Hogan was fixing his shirt and jacket the door opened. Both Colonels looked over to see Hochstetter walk into the room.

Hochstetter was sitting in the back of his staff car. He glanced out of the window and got lost in his thoughts. He sat there and thought how Mary had smiled yesterday, and how much fun he had spending time with her. He smiled to himself as he thought back on the young woman picking out the jewelry; true she had thought it was for someone else, but she was happy when he had gave them to her. 'That young woman will always be selfless. She may be selfish at times, but I say it will be a very small amount.' Hochstetter thought back on what she had said; that she would be cooking everyone in camp a wonderful dinner. Shaking his head slightly; Hochstetter then wondered if she knew that he was coming back to the camp tonight, or if she knew why. Closing his eyes; the Major thought about how he was going to ask her questions about her grandfather, without tipping her off on what he was doing.

In the mirror at the front of the car; Ritter watched the Major close his eyes. Ritter looked back at the road, and wondered why the Major would want to go back to the camp. A thought came to the young Captain's mind. 'If he keeps coming to the camp off and on everyday, or every other day; then those in Berlin will start to ask questions.' Ritter stopped his thought when the gates of the camp came into view. Ritter drove the car threw the gates, and up to the Kommandantur. Once the car was parked; the younger man looked back and spoke to his Commanding Officer.

"Herr Major we are here." Hochstetter opened his eyes and looked out the window. He nodded his head and said.

"So we are." With that the Major got out of the car when Schultz opened the door for him. The Major turned toward the open window of the car. Without leaning down; Hochstetter spoke to the Captain threw the open window.

"Take the car to the VIP Quarters, and if you would please place my things within the living room?" Ritter raised a brow at this, and so did Schultz. Neither one was expecting the man to ask the younger man to do this, and not order him to.

"I will Herr Major…" Ritter looked over toward the fat Sergeant and asked him. "Could you show me the way, and could you pleas help me as well?" The older man nodded his head and went to get into the car.

As the car pulled away; Hochstetter walked up the steps of the Kommandantur. He walked into the room and looked over toward Hilda's desk. He raised a brow when he saw that she was not there. He shrugged his shoulders, and went toward Klink's office door when he heard both Colonel's voices. He leaned in closely and listened; as he did his eyes widen at what all was being said.

"Robert we can't keep kissing like this. We have to be careful and make sure that no one knows that we are…"

"Together, in love, lovers." Hochstetter's mouth dropped as his eyes widen more. He then heard Hogan chuckle lightly.

"Yes to all of the above." 'They are together? As in a romantic relationship?' His thought was interrupted when he heard Hogan wine out.

"Why do we have to wait? Can we just go in the back, and… you know." When Hogan said this; the Major shook his head at this. 'I never really knew that Hogan acted more like a child than an adult at times… But they are together and love each other… that is why the both of them would protect each other in the past.' He thought to himself. Then he heard Klink speak again.

"Because Hochstetter is on his way here, and I don't think he should see this when he walks in." The man shook his head at this. 'No I would not.' He thought to himself again.

"Alright fine… but we will finish this later tonight." With that being said; Hochstetter made a face and turned his head to the side. Hochstetter looked over to both doors; the front and the one behind Hilda's desk. When he saw no one; he then knelt down. He looked threw the keyhole to see Hogan kiss Klink quickly then stand up. Hogan started to fix his shirt and jacket; that is when the Major stood up and opened the door. He saw both Colonels look at him with widen eyes. Klink stood up and quickly spoke.

"Major how long have you been here?" He asked. Hochstetter could see that both men war the look of worry on their faces; as they waited for him to answer. The Major cleared his throat and said.

"Not long; I just got here, and just walked into the Kommandantur." He lied to the two men in front of him. He saw the worry leave both men's faces. Hochstetter walked farther in and closed the door behind him. Both men looked at him when he spoke again.

"I take it that you told him why I am here Hogan?" He asked the slightly younger man. Hogan nodded his head and said.

"Yeah I did. I told him everything that you and I have talked about." Hogan saw the Major raise his brows at this.

"You did?" He asked him.

"Yes he did. I know about all of it. I have known about it for a long time." Klink walked over to stand in front of the Major. Hochstetter looked up at the older man, and listened to what Klink said next. "Now Hochstetter. You and Robert will be going out tonight, and he will be holding you at gun point… And if I get the smallest feeling that this is a trap to take Robert into Gestapo Headquarters…" Klink leaned in closer to the man. Hogan saw this and smiled a little at his loves actions. "If something happens to him, and if by chance he doesn't kill you… I will." The last two words the older man said in a low evilest voice. This tone of voice made the Major's eyes widen; as did Hogan's. Hochstetter nodded his head then said.

"I understand… Nothing will happen to him… And this is not a trap… I do want to help Mary. I know that this is hard to believe, and if you would have told me a few weeks ago that I would be doing this… I would have shot you for it." Both Colonels saw the man look down at the ground, and finish speaking. "But I do want to help her, and… I do want to change sides." Hogan's eyes widen at this. He moved over toward the man. Hochstetter looked at Hogan when he spoke.

"You mean it?" He asked in a voice that was not sure if he believed him or not. The man nodded his head and said.

"Ja I do. I can't follow a man that is killing, or letting his own people die… I was once happy to be apart of something that I, and many others still do think of something great, but I was a fool to think that. When this first started it was not that bad… We didn't beat, or tortured those who were brought to us before… Then a phone call was made, and we had to start doing that. I will not lie Hogan… I have done that to many men in the past, and have broke them; to where they would just sit there and look at the wall of the cell. They would be taking away somewhere, and I would not think about them after that… But meeting your daughter… and hearing and seeing what had been done to her… it broke me." Hogan's mouth dropped at this; as well did Klink's. Both listened as the Major went on.

"After I had read and saw the photos of what was done to her, and knowing that she can still smile and laugh afterwards… it made me think back on those that I had broke myself, or on those that were being broken under my own feet. When I had the cells cleaned and new beds put in… I saw the men walk pass me, but I didn't see them… I saw your daughter. I knew at that moment after reading the papers and seeing the photos of what was done to her… and feeling the sickness within myself; knowing that I had done that to others like her… I knew that I was on the wrong side of this war. I want to become an agent for you Hogan… and for England as well. I will do as you say Hogan and help to end this war. I can't go along with those in Berlin any longer. I can't do it." Hochstetter looked over toward Hogan who was looking at him with large eyes, and still an open mouth. Hogan closed his mouth, and looked to the side. He looked back over when the oldest man in the room spoke next.

"Hochstetter… you do know that you will have to prove yourself to Hogan and to myself. I know that you have changed how things are done at Gestapo Headquarters, but there will be many more test that will come your way before either one of us can trust you completely… I hope that you understand that." When Klink finished speaking; Hochstetter nodded his head.

"Yes I do know that, and I do understand that as well. I don't blame you for testing me; I would do the same." He said with a small smile.

"How about we go over to the house. Snow will be almost done with lunch. I know that she was going to help Newkirk take a bath after breakfast." Hogan said this and looked at Klink; who had a large smile on his face. Hogan rolled his eyes; then looked over toward Hochstetter when he spoke.

"Snow?" He asked. Hogan nodded his head and told him why he called Mary this.

"I used to read her a book called Snow White and The Huntsman. I noticed after I read it to her; that she did look like a real live Snow White." Hochstetter smiled and said.

"She does; doesn't she." All three men smiled at this.

The three men walked out of the small building to meet Ritter walking up the steps. Klink smiled and told the young man that they were going to the house, and that he was welcome to come with them. Ritter smiled and walked back down the steps. As the men walked to the house; Ritter looked down at the ground. He started to hope that his heart would not race like before. As they walked up the steps to the small family home; Ritter frowned slightly as his heart started to race once more.

Mary had helped her Huntsman to bed, and kissed him on the lips. She had gotten into bed with him. Newkirk had fell asleep in only a few minutes of playing with Mary's hair. When she heard her loves breathing start to become heavy; she lifted her head up to see that he was asleep. She had heard the door open, and looked over to see Hilda standing there. The older woman had told her that Major Hochstetter, and Captain Ritter was coming to the camp. She had smiled, and said that she had to go and make lunch for them all. Hilda had smiled a large smile when Mary had said this.

Mary was now in the kitchen making everyone lunch. When she had came out of the bedroom; she was shocked to see that it was almost time for lunch. She dropped the cut tomatoes into the large pot. As she placed the knife into the sink; she looked at her rolled up sleeves of her shirt. 'I had rolled them up to be able to chop up the tomatoes, but I think I might leave them rolled up.' She giggled at her thought. Her dark chocolate boots made a noise as she walked across the wooden floor to the table.

Lunch was done in no time, and Mary walked out of the kitchen and into the room where they would be eating in. Placing the tea pot onto the table; she looked up when she heard the front door open. Smiling wide as Mary walked over to greet her fathers. Her smile grew larger when she saw who else was standing at the door.

"Guten tag Onkel. How are you today?" She asked the Major as she walked up and hugged him. Hochstetter smiled and hugged her back.

"Guten tag Schöne Nichte." When the Major had said this; Ritter looked at him and raised a brow. 'What did I miss?' He asked himself. Ritter then looked back over toward Mary when she spoke to him.

"Guten tag Herr Captain." She said with a smile. Once again Ritter's heart raced at seeing her smile. In a low voice he replied.

"Guten tag Fräulein Mary." Mary smiled at him, and looked over toward her fathers.

"Papa could you help me bring out our lunch please?" She asked him; then looked over when Ritter spoke up.

"Oh you don't have to get me anything." He said with a smile. Mary smiled at him, and told him.

"Don't worry there is a lot of it. After I eat I will be going to give my brothers theirs." Hogan smiled at this and nodded his head, and told her.

"And I know that they will love it, but come on lets get our food first." Mary smiled and walked with her father into the kitchen. As father and daughter went into the kitchen; Klink showed the two men to the table where they would be eating at. Hochstetter watched as the older man moved toward the guest bedroom door. His eyes then looked over to see Mary walk out with bowl's in her hands; as Hogan carried the large pot. Mary handed Hochstetter and Ritter their bowl's; then sat the others down. She looked behind her; then to the sides. The Major raised a brow at this.

"Mary what is it?" He asked her. Mary looked at him and asked.

"Where did Vater go?" Hochstetter smiled at this, then told her.

"He went into that room there." Mary turned and looked at hers and her loves room.

"Now why did he have to go in there?" She asked while placing her hands on her hips. Hogan couldn't help but smile to himself, and say.

"Snow honey, Newkirk has to eat too." He told her. Mary looked over toward her father with narrowed eyes.

"I know that; what I mean is I was going to let Peter sleep some more." She said dryly and stated. She looked back toward the doorway when she saw her Vater, and her Huntsman walk out.

"I was going to let him sleep some more." Klink smiled at his nonblood daughter.

"He has to eat as well." Newkirk smiled as his love narrowed her eyes at their Vater. He walked over to his love and told her the truth.

"I was awake. Tad just helped me out of bed, and put my sling on." He told her. Mary looked over at him and sighed.

"I was going to let you sleep as much as you could… wait what do you mean you were awake?" She asked him with a raised brow. Newkirk smiled at her.

"I smelt the food cooking and it woke me up." He saw his love frown at this.

"So I woke you up by cooking?... I'm sorry my gold heart… I didn't mean too." She moved closer to him. Newkirk smiled down at her. He raised his hand up to move a piece of her hair away from her face.

"Don't be sorry my diamond heart. I did sleep for a good while before I woke up… And besides I didn't want to miss eating the lunch you have cooked… You know I do love your cooking." All of the men there saw a large smile come to the young woman's reddish lips.

"You do love my cooking?" She asked him. Newkirk smiled and nodded his head.

"Yes I do… I just hope that after the war; I don't get fat from it." Mary laughed at her loves joke. This made him, and the other's smile at hearing her laugh. Mary stopped laughing long enough to say.

"Well then maybe I shouldn't cook for you anymore." She laughed harder at the look on her loves face. Newkirk dropped his jaw and gasped at this.

"Then I will die from hunger. I can't cook to save my own life." He said with a smile. Mary raised her hand up with her pointer finger up.

"You liar… You cooked supper for the both of us on our first and last date." She reminded him. Newkirk narrowed his brows together; then remembered. "So you can cook, and you will not go hungry. And you used to cook for you and your little brother too." She smiled as she added. Newkirk looked away and said.

"Damn… alright I can cook, but not as good as you." He told her with a smile. Mary leaned up on her tiptoes and kissed her love on the lips.

"I can always teach you to cook whatever you want to make… But I love cooking for you… so I take it back; I will not teach you." Newkirk smiled at this. Both of their eyes widen when Hogan spoke next.

"Well I can't cook that well, and I am hungry… so I am going to eat." Mary and Newkirk looked over at him still with widen eyes. They had forgotten that they were not alone. Mary smiled finally, and turned to fill everyone's bowl's up. Newkirk moved and sat down. The whole time they had been talking with each other; Ritter watched them. He smiled, and thought to himself on just how lucky this man was to have someone as sweet as Mary. The thought came to his mind; when his eyes watched this sweet young woman spoon out their food. 'I hope that one day I can find someone like her.' He smiled as Mary handed him his food. They all sat down and started to eat their lunch. Hogan smiled wide as he took a bite. Mary looked over at the Major and the Captain. They looked at the food with raised brows. She was about to tell them what it was; when her gold heart said it for her.

"It's chili." Klink tilted his head at this, and nodded his head as well. He too didn't know what this was called, but didn't want to ask… well his stomach really didn't care at this point. As Mary went to take a bite of her food; she looked up when Hochstetter asked.

"Mary do you know if your mother had any family?" Mary raised a brow at his question.

"I know that she did, but I was never allowed to meet them." She told him. This made the older man raise a brow.

"You have never met any of them? Did they know about you?" Mary tilted her head and thought on the questions.

"Well I don't think I have ever met them, and no Lizzie didn't tell anyone about me. I had asked her once if anyone beside her and George knew about me… and she told me that no one did. She said that no one would care if I was alive or not…" All of the men there saw Mary narrow her brows again, and look down at the table. Newkirk reached over to touch her hand, but stopped himself. 'She may be having a flashback.' He thought to himself.

"Mary… you alright? She shouldn't have said that to you, and we all are glad that you were born." Mary looked over toward her love after he spoke. She raised a brow at him. 'Why is he talking to me like that?' She thought to herself; then understood what her Huntsman was doing. With a loving smile; she told him.

"Peter, my sweet gold heart. I'm not having a flashback." With her eyes; she saw the worry leave his. She smiled again then added. "I was in away having one, but not a bad one. I remember once when I was eight… An older man came to the house. I was walking down the stairs; when Lizzie walked into the hallway. She looked out the small window that was beside the door, and looked back at me. In a low harsh voice she told me to go upstairs to my room. I turned and walked back up the stairs. I remember I walked to the door, but I only opened it and closed it. When she had thought I was in my room; she opened the door. I heard her talking to the man…"

"What did you hear?" Mary looked over toward her Vater. She looked back down at the table, and spoke again.

"Well I remember that he tried to come into the house, but Lizzie wouldn't let him. He was asking her if she had a daughter, and she told him that she didn't. That she didn't want children. I remember hearing this man start to yell at her, and said that she was lying to him, and that he wanted to see me… but she kept telling him that she didn't have one. She then told him to look down beside the door… She told him that if she did have a child; then their shoes would be by the door. I don't know what he did then, or what was said. I went into my room, and shut the door very quietly. I wanted to get a look at the man when he left… I heard the door slam shut. I ran over to the window, and looked out. I saw him standing there looking at the house… Then he looked up at the window that I was standing in… I waved at him, and he lowered his head. He got into his car and left. I never saw the man after that. I know that he saw me, and I…" Mary closed her eyes, and shook her head slowly. Newkirk as well as everyone else saw this. Newkirk reached over, and softly touched her hand with his fingers.

"And what?" He asked her. Mary opened her eyes and looked at her love.

"I can still see the sadness in his eyes. I remember seeing a tear run down his cheek… I had asked Lizzie who the man was, and she told me that it was one of her old boyfriends… Which I knew that she was lying. He was too old for her. She liked younger men." She said the last part dryly. When she had said this Ritter's eyes widen as he took a bite of his food. Hochstetter too widen his eyes at this. He then looked over at Hogan when he spoke next.

"Lizzie never told me about her family. I asked her once about them, and the only thing she told me was that her family hated her for some odd reason…" Hogan scoffed at this; then added. "I now know why they hated her." He said dryly. Klink smiled at his loves words. Hochstetter took a bite of his food and thought to himself. 'Well that doesn't help me at all.' It was Ritter who spoke up next.

"Do you know your grandfathers name at least?" He asked the young woman in front of him. Mary took a bite of her food; then raised her hand up to cover her mouth as she spoke.

"I had found Lizzie's birth certificate, and I do know my grandfathers name and grandmothers name." Hochstetter looked up at her and asked.

"What are their names?" He asked her. Mary lowered her hand and told him.

"Well my grandfathers name is Charles Edward Kendrick, and my grandmothers name is Clara Anne Kendrick." She told the Major. Hochstetter smiled at hearing this, and looked over toward Hogan. Hogan nodded his head at him and went back to eating.

After everyone was done eating. Mary and her fathers were in the kitchen cleaning up. Hochstetter stood by the door with Ritter. Newkirk was sitting in the chair that Mary had helped him to. He listened to the Major tell the young Captain that after he said goodbye to Mary; then he could go back to town. Newkirk saw that this was his chance to give the Major the drawings. Hochstetter and Ritter looked over toward Newkirk when he whistled a low whistle. Both men raised a brow at this. Newkirk moved his hand for them to come toward him. Both men walked over toward the young man.

"Ritter could you go into the bedroom and get the notebook that is under the bed. Take out the first page, and bring it here please?" Ritter raised a brow at this, but nodded his head. They both watched the Captain walk into the bedroom and get the notebook. He opened the notebook, and ripped the first page out. He walked back and handed it to the Corporal. Newkirk took it and handed it to Hochstetter. The Major raised a brow and looked at the page. He smiled some when he saw the drawing of two rings on the page.

"What is this?" He asked in a low voice. Newkirk smiled and said.

"The first one is Mary's engagement ring, and the other one is what my wedding band will look like. I was going to make our rings, but I can't with me being injured. I was hoping that you could take it to the jeweler, and see what it would cost to get them made? I will have to find some way to get the money to get them made, but hear is the thing… I want to be able to give it to her on her birthday, and that's in two weeks." Newkirk looked over at Ritter when he spoke up.

"Two weeks? I don't think that will be enough time for both to be made… maybe one, but not both." Newkirk nodded his head.

"I know; if anything I would only want hers to be made first. I will make my own later on." Newkirk looked at the doorway to see if any of the three was coming.

As the two younger men talked; Hochstetter looked at the drawing and smiled. Mary's engagement ring was a Tudor rose. The older man looked at the words that were wrote down near the arrows pointing at what was what on the ring. There was one arrow pointing at the metal of the ring, and it said 'all rose gold'. There was an arrow pointing at the outer rose, and it said 'solid yellow gold'. The next arrow was pointing to the inner rose, and it said 'rose gold with diamonds'. The last arrow was pointing to the middle of the ring, and said 'white opal stone'.

The next ring was that of a wedding band. Hochstetter knew that this ring was the young Corporal's wedding band. Once again the drawing had arrows pointing to a few things telling what was what. The first arrow was pointing at the outside of the ring, and it said 'bullet'. The last arrow was pointing to the middle of the ring, and it said 'rose gold'. At first Hochstetter didn't know why the mix of the metals, the diamonds, the opal stone, and what did bullet mean? Then he remembered what the both of them had called each other before they all ate. 'I'm sorry my gold heart… Don't be sorry my diamond heart.' The older man smiled wider as he heard both voices in his mind.

"I will take this to the jeweler tomorrow, and I will pay for it." When the Major said this; Newkirk looked over at him with widen eyes; as did Ritter.

"You don't have to do that." He told him. The older man smiled and told him.

"They will not make the ring in time; if I don't give them the money upfront." He told the younger man the truth. Newkirk sighed and nodded his head.

"Your right… But I will pay you back… I don't know how, but I will." He said this as he looked at the doorway; then looked up at the Major when he spoke again.

"I will think of something, but it will be later on… not now." He said with a real smile. Newkirk nodded his head at the older man; then smiled when the older man asked what was on his mind.

"What does bullet mean?" Ritter raised a brow at this. Both Gestapo men watched the Corporal reach into his pocket, and pull out a bullet. Newkirk smiled and handed it to the Major.

"That is the bullet that was in my arm; when I got shot by that bastard George. I died saving Mary, but then I was given a second chance to be with her. I love Mary very much, and I want that bullet to be apart of my ring. To always remind myself how much I love her, and to show others as well; what I would do to protect her… but mostly, and you both will think I am ruddy crazy for this… But if it wasn't for that bastard George; than I wouldn't have Mary in my life right now. I would be dead. The day she came here to this camp… I was going to end myself… but I saw her and fell hard for her. I love her very much." Both of the men smiled at the Corporal's words.

After lunch Klink told Mary that the truck with the food for the churches would not be there for another three days. Mary had told him that it was alright, and she still had to make up her mind on what she was going to be making. Klink had smiled at her and was glad to know that Mary was really wanting to help those that needed it. Mary had said goodbye to Captain Ritter, and was told that Major Hochstetter was staying in the VIP Quarters tonight.

Now Mary was in the Mess Hall. She had laid out what all she was going to be cooking for everyone. Newkirk had said that he was going to go with her, but Mary told him no. She then had told him to go to bed, or go with Klink to his office. Hogan, Klink, and Hochstetter was shocked when Newkirk said that he would go with Klink to his office. On her way to the Mess Hall; Mary had went into Barracks 2 to give her brothers their lunch. She then had asked them if they would like to come, and help her cook dinner for everyone in camp. The three had raised a brow at this; then Mary reminded them on what Kinch had said in the waiting room of the sick bay. That if she wanted to cook for everyone in the world; then they would help her. Kinch had sighed at this; he didn't think that she would use his own words against them. Mary walked over and sat down a basket of potatoes in front of Kinch. He smiled at her; as she handed him the knife. Carter looked up from the vegetables that were in front of him. Mary walked over to LeBeau and smiled at him.

"So what are we going to be making?" He asked her. Mary smiled at him and told him.

"We are going to be making the pie crust." She told him and started to dip a cup into the flour.

LeBeau smiled a small smile at her words.

They made the pie crust, but Mary would go and check on the meat that she was cooking on the stove. Once everything was done. Mary showed her brothers how to build the pies. She took the dough and placed it into the tall pan's. Once the dough was in the pan's, and was smoothed out; she then took the vegetables, the cooked rabbit, the cooked duck, and filled the two different pie's with the filling. After the pie's were filled; Mary then took the last of the pie crust that she had left over, and placed it over the top of the pie's. The men watched her pinched the top and bottom of the dough together. When she was done; Mary looked at her brothers, and told them to start making the meat pie's. As the three men started; Carter saw Mary walk over to the stove, and start to cook something different.

"What are you cooking now?" He asked her. Without turning around; she told him.

"I am going to make Bischof and Habicht something that they fell in love with at the restaurant. Then I will make Herr Major and all of us a different dish for supper." She said with a large unseen smile.

Once she had the Major's food all together, and was now letting it slowly cook; is when she walked over to her brothers. They all smiled when their little sister walked over, and told them they had done a great job. Mary then started to place all of the pie's in the oven's. After all of the pie's were in the oven's; all three men went to walk out of the Mess Halls kitchen. Mary saw this and smiled.

"Oh boys." They all turned around to look at her. Mary raised her hand up, and pointed her finger at them; then motioned for them to come back into the kitchen. She giggled to herself as the three walked back in. Mary placed her hands on her hips, and told them.

"Now that the pie's are in the oven's; we can make dessert." She looked over to Carter when he asked her.

"What are we going to be making?" With a large smile; Mary looked over toward LeBeau, and told all three of them.

"We are going to be making French Macaroons." Her eyes watched the largest smile come to the small Frenchmen's lips.

Meanwhile in Klink's office; Newkirk was sitting in Mary's chair. He smiled as he looked over and saw a small little table beside the chair. He looked up to see that Klink was trying to do the paperwork that was stacked on his desk. He laid back into the chair and closed his eyes. He could feel the warm sun on his face that was coming threw the window. Klink looked over and smiled at his son. He saw that his sons eyes were closed, and was feeling the warmth on his face. The older man looked at the chair and noticed that it was a good size, and the young man could sleep in it. A smile came to his lips as he thought on Mary in the chair. 'Mary could curl up in the chair like a little kitten, and sleep in it. But I think my son will need to rest his legs on something.' After thinking this; Klink got up and walked into the next room. He walked over and got a foot rest. Hilda walked into the room with more paper's in her hands when she saw the older man walk out with the foot rest. She smiled to herself as he walked over, and touched the younger man on the shoulder. Newkirk opened his eyes and looked at the older man.

"Lift your legs." Newkirk narrowed one brow. He did as told and lifted his legs. He smiled when he saw the older man place a foot rest under his legs.

"You didn't have to do that." He told him.

"Yes I did. That way you can rest here, and your legs will not hurt." The older smiled at him. Newkirk smiled and said.

"Danke Tad." Klink smiled at this.

"I have to admit that I never thought that I would ever be called father." Newkirk smiled and replied.

"Well you are a father to me, and to Mary. You have helped all of us many times." He told the truth. Klink smiled down at the younger man, and placed a hand on his shoulder. He then turned to walk back to his desk. He looked at Hilda who had watched the sweet moment. She looked over at her boss, and gave him the paper's that were in her hand. They both watched the older man make a face at the sight of the paper's as he took them. Hilda smiled and turned to walk out, but stopped at the door. She turned toward the two men and asked them.

"Where is Colonel Hogan?" Klink looked up from the paper in his hand and told her.

"He went to talk to Hochstetter about the meeting tonight with the underground agent." Hilda's eyes widen at this news.

"Do you think that Hochstetter is playing him?" She asked. She turned her head over toward Newkirk when he spoke up.

"I don't think he is, but I don't know…" Both of the youngers looked at the older man when he spoke up next.

"No I don't think he is. If he was then why would he buy Mary all of the jewelry, and want to help her get her inheritance." He stated to them. Both Hilda and Newkirk nodded their heads; then looked back at the older man when he added. "Besides Hochstetter knows not to cross me." Klink looked down at the paper with a devilish smile. Just at that moment all three heard the front door open and close. The three watched as Bischof walked into the office. Klink looked at the young guard that stood in front of him.

"Bischof what is it?" The older man asked.

"Herr Kommandant, Lady Mary told me to come and tell you and Corporal Newkirk that she is making your and her father Colonel Hogan's dinner at the Mess Hall. She wanted to know if it was alright for all of you to eat at the VIP Quarters with the Major?" Klink raised a brow at this news.

"Why doesn't she just cook at the house?" He asked. All watched the young guard smile.

"Well she said that she was wanting to help hand out the food, and to make sure that everyone likes it." He said with a smile. Both men, and the young woman that was in the office smiled at him. Klink looked over toward Newkirk, and saw him nod his head. The older man looked over and nodded his head at him.

"Yes that will be alright… And danke for coming here for her." He said with a smile. Bischof smiled and nodded his head.

"I didn't mind; Habicht and I had went into the Mess Hall to see what she was cooking… and then she asked me to come and ask you the question; then when I was walking out." He paused and chuckled lightly. The young guard looked over toward the Corporal when he asked him.

"What?"

"I heard Lady Mary ask Habicht if he could help her take out all of the food out of the oven's." Newkirk smiled at this. Bischof looked over at his boss when he spoke next.

"I do hope that you and Habicht will go with Mary next Sunday." The young guard nodded his head and said.

"We are going with her. I know that I will have to carry all of the books that she will get. There was many there that she was wanting to get, but she held off on it; I say that she will go back and get them." Klink narrowed his brows at this.

"What kind of books did she order? She only told us about four of them." He asked and stated. Bischof shook his head and replied.

"No there is a lot more… She did ask the older man that owns the store if he could find some old fairytale books, and she did ask him if he could find a book that she really wanted." He looked at the young woman when she asked him.

"What book is that?"

"The book was called Snow White and The Huntsman." When he said the name of the book; both Klink and Newkirk smiled wide. Klink looked over toward Newkirk when he spoke.

"She loves that book; doesn't she." He said. The older man nodded his head at this.

"She does… I say that she wants to get the book either so Hogan can read it to her, or she can read it to you." He said this as he pointed a finger at the young man.

"Probably both." They all smiled when Newkirk replied.

Hogan was now walking over to the VIP Quarters. He had just came back up from the tunnels, and had to talk to the Major about tonight. As he passed the Mess Hall; he smiled to himself. The smell of the food cooking made him stop walking. He smiled to himself again, and started walking toward the small house. As he walked up the steps of the house he smiled again. The last time he was in this house was when Mary had killed Betty. Stopping at the door; Hogan thought to himself. 'Maybe I should find out if she was a Gestapo agent or not. She could have just said that to get her way.' Hogan opened the door and walked into the house. As he walked into the living room he saw the Major at the table. There was many paper's laid out on the table. Hochstetter looked up from the paper that was in his hand, and up at the slightly younger man. He laid the paper onto the table.

"Hogan?" He asked. Hogan held up his hand and looked around the front of the house. The Major knew what he was doing.

"There is no one here, but myself Hogan… And there is no microphone hidden either." He told him with a sigh. In a way the Major was somewhat hurt by the slightly younger man's action, but understood why he was doing this. Hogan raised a brow at this.

"Sorry, but I can't let down my guard at anytime…" Hogan scanned the room with his eyes; then once he saw nothing wrong he added. "Don't ask how, but we will leave the camp at 11:40 tonight. Then we will go to the graveyard, but once we meet the agent; we both have to give a recognition code." Hochstetter raised his brows at this.

"Why? It will be just us three?" He asked him. Hogan nodded his head at this and added.

"Just because it will be us three there; doesn't mean that we will meet the right agent." He told him. Hochstetter narrowed one brow while the other was still raised.

"What? I will be wearing my Gestapo uniform. If someone stops us I will tell them that…" Hogan cut in at this point.

"That what; you are taking in a man that is holding you at gun point with your own gun." Hogan stated dryly. The Major's face dropped at this; he had not thought of that. He glanced at the slightly younger man and smiled.

"You think of everything don't you." He stated. Hogan smiled and walked over to sit down in the chair that was in front of him.

"No… I don't think of anything, but imagine everything." He told him with a smile. The slightly older man nodded his head.

"Alright. What is the recognition codes?" He asked.

"The agent will ask what kind of flowers we put on the graves. I will say that I always put Calla Lilies, and you say that you always place Tulips on the graves. Then the agent will then say that they place Hydrangeas on the graves." Hochstetter raised his brows at this.

"That is a long code." He chuckled lightly. Hogan smiled and nodded his head.

"I know, but now a days you can't be too careful."

"This is true." Hogan looked over at the table and moved his hand out.

"What is this all about?" He asked. Hochstetter looked at the table and smiled.

"These are the files on you and your men." Hogan felt himself get nervous at this; then listened to what the Major said next. "I brought them here to have you help me on what to leave in, and what to take out. I took them last night, and placed them in my bags. There is a lot on yourself and on Klink, and I… I want to prove myself to you that I am on your side of the war." Hogan smiled at this, and reached over and grabbed a file. He looked at the paper's, and they were all about him. His eyes looked over them, and widen some. 'Hochstetter was very close on pinning me to the wall here.' He thought to himself.

"I have to say Hochstetter… You almost had me." The slightly older man smiled at this. Then looked toward the open window.

"I know, but I couldn't take you in just yet… I have to say Hogan; that your daughter is something else. When I ran into her in town, and when we all went to eat." He paused and smiled a real smile, and looked over at the young Colonel. Hogan narrowed his brows at this.

"What?" He asked.

"Your daughter talked about you a lot. She told me about when she first met you, and all the times you and her spent together. She even told me that you showed her how to fly a plane, and that she remembers how to fly one. Did you really take her up in the air?" He asked him. Hogan smiled at this, and nodded his head.

"Yeah I did. She wanted to go up in the air with me." He chuckled at the memory. Hogan glanced over at the Major. "You should have heard my men when they found out that she was on the plane. They were freaking out." He began to laugh at the memory.

"What is so funny?" The Major asked actually wanting to know. Hogan smiled and told him.

"I was flying the plane, and we had been flying for about a half an hour at that time. It was a test flight, and we had to make sure that everything was working right. Well I was flying the plane, and behind me; I heard my Flight Engineer let out a 'What the hell." Hogan laughed at this. "I yelled back and asked him what was wrong. The only thing I heard him say was 'there's a kid on here.' I asked him what the hell he was talking about; when I saw someone standing beside me. I looked over and there she was; just a smiling away. I remember I asked her what she was doing there, and she told me that she wanted to go for a ride." He laughed at this. Hogan could still see his daughter's sweet smile.

"How old was she?" Asked Hochstetter. Hogan smiled even more when he told him.

"She was only five at the time." Hochstetter's mouth dropped at hearing this.

"What?" He asked not believing what he had heard. Hogan nodded his head and told the man more.

"Yeah, she was five. My Co-pilot asked her 'you hide away on the plane to go for a ride?' She looked at him and nodded her head. She smiled at him, and she said 'I wanted to go for a ride on a real plane, and I want to learn how to fly one.' I asked her why she wanted to know that, and she told me that she wanted to be a pilot like me." Both men smiled at these words.

"What did you do next?" Hogan smiled at the slightly older man's question.

"Well I smiled at her and told her to get on my lap, and I would show her how to fly a plane." He laughed harder at this; then added. "The guys started to say that they didn't think it was a good idea, but by that time she was on my lap. I told them that she was alright, and that I was right there if something happened… I remember my Co-pilot saying 'oh my god.. I thought that I would die at the hands of our enemy; not by the small little hands of a five year old." Hogan laughed louder after he had repeated on what was said. Hochstetter also laughed at this. After both had calmed down; Hogan went on.

"I showed her what to do, and what to push; she placed her little hands on the wheel… and I let go of the wheel. I told her that she was flying the plane. I heard my Co-pilot start to pray, and my Bombardier ask him why he was praying… he yelled out that Mary was now flying the plane, and not me. I remember laughing when all of the men started to pray out loud… Mary looked up at me and asked me if she was doing a bad job at flying…" Hogan paused at this part of the memory. Hochstetter noticed this, and saw the slightly younger man narrow his brows.

"Hogan what is it?" He asked. Without looking at the man; he told him.

"The look she gave me was that of fear; now that I think about it, and know what she had been threw. She was so scared that I was going to tell her that she was…" Hogan smiled again, and then added. "But when I told her that she was doing a great job, and that she was doing better than me… the look in her eyes, and the smile on her face… I don't know it warmed my heart that she was that happy." He smiled a loving smile at the memory that played before his eyes.

"She was happy that she was spending time with you, and that you wanted to spend time with her." Hogan looked over toward the Major, and his smile widen at this.

"Yeah."

"So what happened after that?" Hochstetter asked wanting to know the rest of the story. Hogan shook his head still with a large smile on his face.

"Well the test flight was over, and we had to go back. She flew the plane back to the base, and landed it; with a little help. After we were back on land and to a stop; the men were thanking god that they were not killed. I remember all of us walking away from the plane, and General Butler was standing there. He asked my men what was wrong and they told him. He looked at me and narrowed his eyes…" Hogan laughed again at the memory. "He asked me what I was thinking? And I told him that she did very well, and I didn't know why the men were complaining. My men started to tell me that they could have been killed… but Mary spoke up at this point. She told them in her little angry voice 'None of you died; your all fine… big babies." Hochstetter and Hogan laughed at this.

"She called them big babies?" He asked while laughing. Hogan nodded his head, and wiped the tears from his eyes.

"Yeah she did. I looked down and her little hands were on her hips…" When Hogan said this; he placed his own hands on his hips; then added. "And she was shaking her head at them. I laughed even harder then." He dropped his hands from his hips and fell back into the chair laughing. He closed his eyes and could still see Mary standing there. He opened his eyes and saw the Major laughing just as hard as he was. After they both calmed down; Hochstetter smiled and said.

"You have one hell of a daughter Hogan." Hogan smiled at this.

"Yeah I do."

Mary stood in the kitchen looking at the door to the Mess Hall. She waited for the POW's and the Guard's to come in, and get their food. She smiled to herself when she remembered showing LeBeau how to make the French Macaroons. He was so happy to be finally learning how to make something that he loved to eat, and had always wished that he could make for himself. Her eyes looked over toward the doors as they opened. The Guard's walked in first. Mary narrowed her brows, and looked over toward Habicht when he told her.

"The Guard's need to eat first; so that they can watch over the POW's, and to make sure that everyone gets their food." Mary smiled at this; then looked over at the first Guard who was walking up to her. She smiled at him, and handed him his plate. He smiled and thanked her. After all of the Guard's had their food; Mary watched all of them closely to see if they like the food that she and her brothers had made. She smiled wide as she saw all of the men smile, and tell each other how great the food was. Mary's eyes spotted Schultz eating the Macaroons, and was smiling wide. She looked over when she heard Habicht hum loudly.

"Mein Gott this is so good." He said as he took another bite of his food. Smiling and shaking her head; Mary turned her head and saw Bischof walk in with his plate of food.

"This is so good." He said as he stood beside his friend. They both looked over toward their new little friend and said together.

"Danke." Both looked at each other with a smile on their faces. Mary smiled and replied.

"Don't thank me just yet." When she said this both men narrowed their brows at her. Mary walked over to a table that was in the kitchen, and picked up a large bowl off of the table. She walked over with the bowl in her hands, and handed it to Habicht; who took it, and looked in the bowl. He smiled when he saw what was inside. He held it up to let Bischof look inside. Once Bischof saw what was inside he smiled wider.

"You made the coffee pudding." He said with a large smile. Bischof then took his fork, and stuck it in the pudding; as Mary nodded her head. Habicht scoffed at this and pulled the bowl away; as Bischof hummed loudly at the taste of the pudding.

"Mein Gott." He said in a low voice. Habicht saw his friends reaction and did the same, and had the same reaction. Mary shook her head, and smiled wide at the both of them. 'Is it that good? I made it the same as the restaurant did.' She thought to herself; then smiled and said.

"Now you are both welcome." Her two new friends smiled at her.

After all of the Guards had ate their dinner; they took their places, and waited for the POW's to come into the Mess Hall. Some of the Guards smiled at seeing the young woman waiting to give the men their food. As the POW's walked in; Mary smiled at them, and handed each one their plate. Each POW thanked her and sat down. Once again Mary watched the men closely to see if they liked their food. All of the POW's ate their food without showing any sign if they liked the meat pies or not. Mary felt herself get nervous at this. She looked to the side; then looked up when one of the POW's called over Kinch. Her eyes watched her older brother walk over to the group. They all stood together, and talked. Carter walked beside Mary, and looked at her. He saw that the young woman was nervous. He reached over, and placed his hand on her shoulder. She looked up at him when he did this.

"Sissy, don't be nervous. The POW's here; have not had a home cooked meal in along time. I say that they are telling Kinch that they love the food." As Carter spoke; LeBeau walked up beside him.

"He's right, and if they don't like it then they don't know what true cooking is." Mary smiled at this; then looked at Carter again when he spoke.

"But Kinch, LeBeau and I loved the food you made us, and I have to say that the cookies were very good too." He said with a smile. LeBeau leaned toward Carter and said.

"There called French Macaroons." Carter rolled his eyes at this, and replied.

"Whatever… but they were very good though." Mary smiled at him.

"Thank you Andrew, and thank you Lui." LeBeau smiled at the nickname that she had called him. Carter smiled as well at hearing his given name, and not his last. All three looked over when Kinch walked over to them.

"Mary the POW's want to talked to you." He told her. Mary tried to read his face to give her a sign on what was going on, but found nothing. With a sigh; she stood up straight, and walked over to the group of men. When she was standing in front of the men; it was Kingston who walked forward.

"Miss Mary… We wanted to talk to you about the food." Mary nodded her head at this and said.

"Please you can call me Mary, but what about the food? Was it not to anyone's liking?" She asked. Her three brothers smiled at her when they heard her speak in her noble tone of voice. 'She really is like an uncrowned Queen.' Thought Kinch. Kingston smiled, and told her what all the men had said about the food.

"We all do have a problem, but it is not with the food. That was the best food we have had in a very long time. It made all of us very happy, and we all loved it. The cookies were by far the best part of the meal. We asked Sergeant Kinch how you knew how to make such great food, and he told us that you learned from a early age. Then he said that you want to open up a bakery when the war is over… That is what all of us have a problem with." Mary raised a brow at this.

"Do all of you think that I shouldn't open a bakery?" She asked them. With her eyes she saw all the men shake their heads no; then she looked at Kingston when he spoke again.

"No we do… but we all think that you should open one next, or in a restaurant. Miss… Mary the food that you made was so damn good, and after the war; we all want to take our loved ones to your restaurant to show them what we ate while we were here in Stalag 13. We all have gotten letters from back home, and our loved ones always ask us; if we are eating well, and what we are eating… We all think that you should open up a restaurant; so that we all can come and see you, and eat the amazing food that you cook." Mary smiled wide at hearing this. She looked around as all the men nodded their heads at what the young man was saying. Closing her eyes; Mary felt the hotness come to her eyes. Kingston and the other's saw the tears fall from her closed eyes, and looked over toward the three men behind her. Kinch smiled and walked over to his little sister.

"Sis are you alright?" He asked her. Mary opened her eyes and smiled up at him.

"Yes I am… I just never thought that the food I cooked would be that wonderful." She told the truth. Her smile grew larger when Habicth walked up to her, and told the truth.

"Well I think that you should open a restaurant, and a bakery. Your cooking is so good, because you care about what you are making… and who it is for. The coffee pudding that you made for Bischof and myself… it tasted so much better than the one that was in the restaurant. We both know that you did the same thing that they did, but yours taste so much better… because you made it for your friends and loved ones; where they make it for the money. Your cooking food with love in it… and we all know that is why it tastes so much better." Mary smiled at him and looked down. With a large smile on her face; she told the men in front of her.

"Alright I will open a restaurant, and a bakery when the war is over." She looked up, and smiled as all the men yelled out in happiness.

Klink placed the last paper for the day; to the side of his desk. He leaned back in his chair and sighed heavily. He hated doing all of the paperwork that he had to do. There was only actually forty paper's that needed to be signed, but each paper had sixty copies; that had to be looked over and signed. The older man looked over to the chair that his son was sitting in. He smiled to himself when he saw that Newkirk was asleep in the chair with his legs up on the foot rest. 'The warmth of the spring sun must have put him to sleep.' The older man smiled when he thought this. Just then the door opened, and the young Guard walked in. Bischof smiled, and bowed his head at his boss.

"Herr Kommandant; Lady Mary asked me to come and tell you, and her sweetheart to go to the VIP Quarters for dinner." Klink smiled at this. He stood up and nodded his head.

"Alright I will wake him and we will go there… Do you know what she has made for dinner?" He asked him. The young Guard nodded his head, and told him.

"Yes… well I know it is a Spanish dish is all. She said the name of it, but I don't know how to say it." He chuckled lightly. Klink smiled at this. As the young man left the office; Klink walked over to his son and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Peter… son… you need to wake up. It's time for dinner." He said as he shook him lightly. Newkirk opened his eyes slowly, and looked at the man who he saw as a father.

"What?" He asked. Klink smiled and repeated what he had said.

"It's time for dinner. Mary made a Spanish dish for dinner." He smiled as the younger man smiled at this.

"I say that she made that for Hochstetter. She told me last night that he likes Spanish food." He said this as he sat up more in the chair. Klink watched as Newkirk stood up with no problem. Klink narrowed his brows at the younger man. Newkirk looked over and moved his head back some.

"What?" He asked the older man.

"How is your wounds doing?" Klink asked him. Newkirk shrugged one shoulder.

"I guess that they are doing alright. Mary said that both looked really good when she had helped me take a bath earlier… I mean it hurts off and on, but not like it was eight days ago."

"May I looked to see how they look?" He asked him. Newkirk nodded his head and sat back down. Klink helped his nonblood son take off the sling, and his shirt. When Klink looked at the bullet wound on the younger man's arm; his eyes widen at what he saw. Newkirk saw this and got worried.

"Is something wrong?" He asked. Klink looked up at him and shook his head.

"No it looked very good actually… I say tomorrow you can take off the sling, but that doesn't mean you can lift anything just yet." Newkirk nodded his head at this. He was so happy that he could take off the sling now. Klink moved over, and pulled the bandages down that were on the younger man's chest. Once he saw the wound; he smiled again.

"It looks like the wound on your chest will be healed up within two weeks." Newkirk smiled at hearing this.

"You mean that I will be healed by Mary's birthday?" He asked. Klink looked up at the younger man, and smiled.

"Yes you will be healed by Mary's birthday… Why?" He asked.

"Well… I was hoping that I would be healed in time to… ask her to marry me." Newkirk spoke in a low voice near the end. Klink smiled wide at hearing this.

"You are going to ask her to marry you on her birthday… Peter… that will make her so happy… You know what has happened on her birthdays in the past?" He asked him. Newkirk frowned at this, and looked down at the floor.

"Yes I do… I want Mary to have a great birthday this year. I want her to spend it with the people she loves, and could not live without. This will be the first birthday with her father… I want her to look back on this birthday and smile wide at it, and to replace the old memories with these new ones." Klink smiled at this. He leaned in and told him.

"She will be very happy… and if you need help with planning it, or with the ring I will help." Newkirk smiled and glanced over to see baby blue eyes looking at him.

"Well I kinda already gave Hochstetter the drawings for the rings. He said that he would pay for it, and I can pay him back for it." Klink smiled at this.

"You drew out what the ring will look like?" He asked him. Newkirk nodded his head at this.

"Yeah I did. I gave it to Hochstetter, but I'm sure that he can show you what they look like… But I have to talk to Robert about it though." He said with an unsure smile. Klink moved over, and grabbed the younger man's shirt. As he fixed the shirt to put over the younger man's head; he replied.

"I know that Robert will be happy when you tell him, and show him what the ring will look like." Newkirk smiled at this. Klink helped his nonblood son put his shirt on, and then the sling back on.

Mary and her brothers walked up to the VIP Quarters. Each one of the three men had asked Mary; if she wanted one of them to carry the large pot of food for her, but she told them no. As the four walked to the door; they stopped. They all looked at each other as they heard laughter. Mary smiled wide, and tried to hold in her laugh as her brothers looked at each other. Each one couldn't believe that Colonel Hogan, and Major Hochstetter were in there laughing hard at what one of them had said. It was when Mary heard her name; is when she handed the large pot to Carter, and opened the front door. Mary walked into the room, and asked the two laughing men.

"And what is so funny in here?" She looked at the two men; who had tears running down their cheeks from laughing so hard. Both men stopped laughing, and looked at her while trying not to laugh harder at what they were seeing. Mary was standing there with her hands on her hips, and one brow raised. She quickly raised both brows when the two men looked at each other, and started to laugh harder than before. They both started to calm down when they heard Mary speak again, but in a louder annoyed voice.

"I asked the both of you what is so damn funny?!" All of the men in the room widen their eyes; when they heard Mary raise her voice. Kinch, Carter and LeBeau looked at each other, and quickly walked to the kitchen. Hogan smiled, and told his daughter while wiping the tears from his face.

"I had told Hochstetter about when I had showed you how to fly a plane, and…" He started laughing lightly at this point. Mary narrowed one brow and looked over to the Major when he spoke up next.

"Hogan told me how you looked when you called his men…" Hochstetter couldn't finish what he was going to say. Mary lowered her hands from her hips, and shook her head.

"Really? You two are laughing over me calling them big babies?" She asked them. Hogan smiled and stood up.

"Yeah we are. Mary honey; you were five years old, and were standing just like that with your hands on your hips. Mary sweetheart… that was the most cutest thing I had ever seen, and when you did that just now… it reminded me of it." He smiled and hugged her tightly. Mary smiled and looked over at the Major when he spoke next.

"I have to admit Mary when you did that just now; I could actually see you as a little five year old girl… We couldn't help but laugh." Mary smiled at this, and felt her father's lips on her forehead.

"Alright… but I hope you didn't tell him all the things that Bash and I did to each other?" She asked as she looked up at him. Hogan smiled and shook his head.

"No I just told him the cute little things you have done over the years." He smiled. Hochstetter raised a brow at this.

"Who?" He asked her. Mary looked over, and told him who she was talking about.

"Bash is a Captain at the base. He and I are very good friends." After Mary had said this; she looked down at the floor. Hogan noticed this.

"Snow… You will see him again." He said and hugged her tightly again.

"I know… I just miss him." Hogan laid his head onto hers, and hugged her even tighter. As he did this; Klink and Newkirk walked into the room. Newkirk saw this, and quickly moved over to his love. Mary looked up at him when he said her name.

"Mary?" Mary moved out of her fathers arms and smiled at him.

"It's alright. I was just missing a good friend of mine is all." Newkirk looked closer into her eyes.

"But you've been crying? Are you sure your alright?" He asked her. Mary nodded her head, and told her worried Huntsman why she had cried earlier.

"I did cry earlier, but it was at what the POW's had told me." Her eyes watched as a flash of anger crossed her Huntsman's eyes. She smiled, and placed a hand on the side of his face. "They told me that I should open a restaurant, and a bakery. I told them that I would open both of them up after the war. They loved the meat pie's that my brothers and I had made them. They really liked the French Macaroons that Lui and myself had made." She smiled at the end as she saw the anger leave her loves eyes.

"Well at least they didn't say anything bad to you." He said in a strong voice. Mary shook her head when he had said this.

"Sissy do you want us to reheat the food, or do you want too?" Carter asked from behind her. Mary turned and looked at him.

"I will do it, but I will need all of you to help me bring out the plate's." Carter nodded his head, and walked to the kitchen. Mary looked back at her love, and leaned up on her tiptoes to kiss him on the lips. Once the kiss broke; Mary turned and walked to the kitchen. Once she was gone; Klink quickly made his way over to the Major, and asked quickly in a low voice.

"Can I see the drawings?" Newkirk rolled his head over toward the older man. Klink looked at him and smiled; then added. "I want to see them." Hochstetter took the drawings out of his inner pocket.

"Drawings? What drawings?" Hogan asked as the Major handed the paper over to Klink. The older man smiled wide, and looked at his son.

"Son these are beautiful." He said as Hogan moved over to look at the paper. Hogan looked up from the paper, and at his best friend. Hogan was about to tell his friend that he approved, but Newkirk spoke up first.

"I want to talk to you later about asking Mary to marry me, but I want to do it the right way." Said the young Corporal. Hogan nodded his head at him. Klink looked at the doorway, and heard Mary talking to one of her brothers as she walked toward them. He quickly handed the paper back to the Major; who put the paper back in his pocket.

"Shall we clear the table off?" Hochstetter asked the three men near him. Hogan and Klink nodded their heads, and moved over to the table.

Mary walked out with a plate in each hand. Hochstetter took the file's from Hogan and Klink, and took them into the bedroom. He placed them in one of the bag's that he had brought with him. He smiled to himself as he took the paper out of his pocket, and placed it in the folder that was Newkirk's. He smiled to himself, and turned to walk back into the living room. When he reached the table; he glanced up to see what Mary had made for dinner. He looked over toward her and smiled.

"You made a Spanish dish." He stated. Mary nodded her head and replied.

"Yes I did; this is a Spanish chicken, and Chorizo Paella. I hope you like it." Hochstetter walked over to her and hugged her.

"Danke Nichte." Mary smiled and replied.

"Dein willkommener Onkel." Hochstetter smiled and hugged her again.

After dinner they all left the Major in the VIP Quarters. Kinch, Carter, and LeBeau went to the Barracks, and down in the tunnels. They had to make sure that no one was in the tunnels tonight. Hogan was now sitting in the living room of what had become their little family home. He looked at his watch and saw that it was now 11:20. He sighed and leaned back against one of the chairs. Klink had went to bed early do to the amount of paperwork; he still had to do in the morning. Hogan looked up at his daughter's and best friends bedroom door as it opened. He watched as Newkirk walked out of the room, and closed the door behind him softly. Newkirk walked over to the sofa, and sat down. Hogan narrowed his brows at the younger man. Something was off with the young Corporal.

"Newkirk where is your sling?" He asked him. Newkirk looked down at his arm and smiled.

"Klink said that I didn't have to have it on anymore… Where is yours?" He asked his friend. Hogan smiled and replied.

"I left it in the bedroom. I can't wear it out tonight." He chuckled lightly. Newkirk smiled then started to talk to the man in front of him.

"Look Colonel Hogan…" Hogan raised a brow at this, and cut in.

"Newkirk you don't have to do this; I would be happy if you asked Mary the big question…"

"No I have to do this. It's the right thing to do… You are my Commanding Officer, and her father… so I have to do this the right way." Hogan smiled at this, and nodded his head.

"Alright, but you call me by my first name only." Newkirk nodded his head, and started to talk.

"Alright Robert… I love your daughter very much. She saved my life in more ways than one. Her love stopped me from killing myself, and it saved me from Betty. Mary is the reason why I wanted to come back from the dead. I don't know if she, or Kreizler told you before he left camp, or not…" Newkirk paused to look at Hogan with a raised brow. Hogan shook his head at this news.

"No neither one did… What are you talking about?"

"When I died… A man that I don't know showed me Mary's life with me and without. I saw us together with our kids, and you and Klink were there too." He smiled at this point. Hogan smiled at this as well; then listened to the young man as he spoke again.

"I saw her life without me in it, and it was not good. A German Officer told her to marry him or he would kill you, and we both know what our Mary did next. She married him, and was very unhappy… She ended up killing herself to be with me. You and Mary were not allowed to see each other at all; so I guess you didn't know about her death, but anyway… I told the man that I wanted to live to be with her… I used to think that Mary could do better than me, but I know now that she was brought into my life for a reason, and I was brought into hers for a reason… I love her very much, and I want to ask her to marry me… I will be there for her threw anything and everything. I want to make her happy, and I know that she will make me happy. I want to be there when she opens up her restaurant and her bakery. I know that she will be there for me when I open up my store and start my designing business, and I know that she will encourage me to make anything that I want to make… I love her so much, and I want to be with her for the rest of my life. I want to give her the house that she wants; the children that she dreamed of awhile back. And yes; you and Klink will be moving in with us… She and I have talked about that, and we both want you two to live with us. We both want to see the both of you with our children, and playing… I don't know Robin Hood with them in the garden…" Hogan smiled at this; then listened to the rest of what the young man who was so in love with his daughter had to say next.

"I asked Hochstetter to take the drawings to the jeweler to be made; he said that he would pay for them, but I will pay him back some how… And he did say that he will think of something; just letting you know that part… But… Robert do I have your permission to propose to your daughter?" Newkirk smiled a small smile at his friend, and waited for him to speak. Hogan smiled wide at this. He had to admit that he didn't think that the young Corporal that he had known for a few years would speak like this. He smiled; then spoke to the young man.

"You and Mary are alike." Newkirk narrowed his brows at this.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"Mary sometimes speaks as if an uncrowned Queen, and this is the second time I have heard you speak like an uncrowned King. So… You can ask my daughter to marry you." Both men smiled wide at this. Newkirk stood up; as did Hogan.

"Thank you Robert, and I will be up waiting for you. If you are not back by one in the morning… I will come looking for you. Mary loves you, and Klink loves you… and I do too… None of us want to lose you." Hogan smiled at this, and hugged his friend.

"I love all of you too, and I will be back." Hogan narrowed his brow when Newkirk moved out of the hug, and raised up his arm; as if to shake the others hand. Hogan raised up his arm up to shake hands, but Newkirk moved his arm and hand upward, and grabbed onto Hogan's forearm near the elbow. Newkirk saw the other man look at the action with both raised brows now. He smiled and told him.

"My master taught me that. It's a brothers arm shake; it was used between two warriors. Men who fought for those they loved, and to protect each other. He said that it was first done by gladiators in the gladiatorial games. It is to show respect, and loyalty to your fellow warriors." Hogan smiled and nodded his head.

"I will be back soon." They dropped their arms, and Newkirk watched his friend push the stove out of the way. After Hogan was gone from sight, and the stove was back in place; Newkirk looked down at his watch. '11:40… it will take fifteen minutes for them to get to the graveyard; the meeting will take twenty minutes give or take; then fifteen to get back to camp… So it will be around 12:28 am when they get back to camp.' Newkirk sighed, and sat back down on the sofa. He looked over when the door of his and his loves bedroom door opened. Newkirk smiled when he saw his love in her white shirred peasant tunic nightgown.

"Peter what are you doing out here?" She asked him. Newkirk smiled at her and told her half the truth.

"Colonel Hogan went to get Hochstetter. Then to take him to go meet the underground agent. I told him I would stay up, and wait for him." Mary smiled and walked over to her love. She leaned down and kissed him on the lips.

"Do you want me to stay up with you?" She asked with a smile.

"If you want too… There is no use in telling you no, because you will do it anyway." He smiled at her. Mary leaned down and whispered in his ear.

"Damn right." This made Newkirk chuckle lightly.

Hogan walked threw the tunnel that led to the VIP Quarters. He reached the ladder, and placed his hand on the wood. Closing his eyes; he said a prayer. 'Please lord don't let this be a trap, and let me come home to the ones I love… please don't let me miss my little girl getting proposed too, or miss her wedding… or her life. I have a lot to make up to her, and I need your protection tonight.' Hogan opened his eyes, and went up the ladder. He moved the stove over, and popped his head out of the whole. To his relief; Hogan saw the Major laying on the sofa facing the windows. When he heard the slightly older man's heavy breathing; he moved slowly out of the whole. Once Hogan had slid the stove back in place; he slowly made his way over to the sofa. Hogan stopped in his tracks when he heard the slightly older man's breathing start to quicken. Hogan raised a brow when he saw that the Major started to twitch some in his sleep. 'He's having a nightmare?... I hope.' Hogan thought to himself. The last thing he needed was for the Major to be having a health problem. Hogan lowered his hand and said the Major's name.

"Hochstetter wake up." The Major opened his eyes with a jump. His eyes scanned around the room, and soon landed on Hogan; who was standing to the side of him. The man sat up, and tried to calm himself down. Hochstetter moved his legs off of the sofa, and onto the floor. When he lowered his head; is when Hogan asked him.

"Are you alright?" He asked.

"Ja… It was just a dream is all." He told him and stood up. The Major looked at Hogan, and saw the worry on his face.

"Do you want to talk about it?" The slightly younger man asked. Hochstetter shook his head slowly and replied.

"No." He moved to walk away, but stopped at Hogan's words.

"Well if you want to talk about it; I'm right here." The Major turned his head, and looked at the young Colonel with a raised brow. He went to ask him a question, but stopped when Hogan added. "I know first hand that if something as small as a bad dream can cause you to not think straight, or can cause you to react in away you would never react." The Major narrowed a brow; while the other was still raised.

"Really?" He asked him. Hogan nodded his head, and replied.

"Yeah… Why do you think I never took Mary away from her mother… I didn't want to become my father, and do to her what he had done to me." Hochstetter nodded his head, and said.

"Well you can tell me more about that tomorrow… if you want too. But right now; how are we going to leave the camp? I can get a car out of the…" Hogan cut the Major off by saying.

"No. If anyone spots us there; then they will haul ass to the camp, to see if we are here or not." The Major nodded his head slightly to this.

"Then how are we going to get out of the camp?" He asked him. Hogan sighed and told him.

"We have to go threw the tunnels, and go out the emergency exit." Hochstetter's jaw dropped at this news. Then closed his mouth when Hogan added. "I am taking a big risk here; by taking you down there. If this is a trap… there will be hell to pay, and not by me… but by everyone here." The Major nodded his head.

"Yes I know… I don't want Klink, or his family to come after me, and I don't want Mary to go threw anymore heartache." Hogan raised both brows at what the Major had just said. 'He really doesn't want Mary to go threw anymore pain.' He thought to himself.

"Come on." Hogan moved over to the stove, and pushed it out of the way. Hochstetter's eyes widen at this; then looked at Hogan when he spoke again. "Now your gun." The Major nodded his head, and reached to his side. He took his gun out of it's case, and handed it to Hogan.

"It is loaded, and you can check if you want too." Hogan nodded his head and checked the gun. The gun was indeed loaded with many bullets. Hogan pointed to the entrance with the gun. The Major moved toward the whole, and went down into the tunnel.

Once off the ladder; Hochstetter looked around in amazement. He never thought that Hogan and his men could have done this much in such a short amount of time. When Hogan jumped down off the ladder; he looked over toward Hochstetter.

"I told the guys to make sure that no one was near the tunnels that we would be using." As he said this; Hogan pointed to the tunnel that they were going to be using.

They walked threw the tunnel toward the emergency exit. As Hochstetter walked threw; he looked around. He was in shock at what all he had seen so far. Hogan tried not to show the Major to much of the tunnels, and what was in them. As they reached the emergency exit; Hogan could feel his heart start to race. 'Maybe I should have blindfolded him?' He thought to himself; then his inner voice spoke up. 'No. He said that he was doing this for Mary. If he was playing you than he would have by now. You know how Hochstetter is. As soon as he found out that you knew how to get in touch with the underground; he would have took you in.' Hogan tilted his head at this, and did a small nod. 'That is true. Hochstetter is very impatient with these kind of things.' As Hochstetter passed by a ladder; he was softly grabbed by the collar of his coat. He turned around, and looked at the young Colonel. Hogan smiled and pointed up the ladder that they were standing beside. The Major nodded his head, and climbed up the ladder.

Newkirk sat on the sofa with Mary curled up beside him. She had tried to stay awake, but had fell back to sleep once she laid her head on his good shoulder. Newkirk looked down at her and smiled. As he laid his head onto hers; he imagined doing this with her every night for the rest of his life. Then he thought on how he was going to propose to her. 'I will need everyone's help to make this the best memory for her.' He smiled to himself when a plan came to mind. 'I will make her a new dress for this, and tell her it's for her birthday.' He smiled wider as he thought on how the dress would look. As he thought more on making his love the dress; Newkirk thought on other things as well. He smiled when he saw the wedding dress that she would look great in. He smiled even more to himself as he pictured Mary in different dresses, and outfits that he would make for her. Then the image of him making baby clothes for her came to mind. Without knowing it; tears started to fall from his eyes.

"Peter are you alright? Is something wrong?" He looked down to see Mary looking up at him with worry in her eyes.

"No… I'm just happy is all. I get to be here with you, and hold you… I love you." Mary smiled up at him, and leaned up for them to share a kiss. Once the kiss broke Mary replied.

"I love you too."

Hogan and Hochstetter were now in the graveyard by a tree. Hogan had told the Major; that this is where they were to meet the agent. Hochstetter had sat down on the bench that was under the tree; while Hogan leaned against the tree. Hogan looked down at the slightly older man, and noticed that he was deep in thought. When an owl let out a scream; Hogan nearly jumped out of his skin. Hochstetter saw this, and held in his laugh. He watched an uneasy look come to the younger man's face.

"Why don't you like graveyards?" He asked him; making the younger jump. Hochstetter raised a brow at this, and held in his laugh again. Hogan looked at the man.

"Does anyone like graveyards?" The Major shook his head at this; then looked back when Hogan added. "I was sixteen and was hanging with the wrong people. One night they said 'lets go and drink in a graveyard at night', and I went. I was so damn drunk that I fell into a sinking grave, and came face to face with a skull." Hochstetter's eyes widen at this.

"Oh no wonder you don't like graveyards at night."

"Yeah that's why… or anytime really. It was bad enough when I was drunk, and I don't remember that much of it, but when you are stone cold sober; that's different… So what did you dream about earlier?" Hogan's question took the Major off guard. The slightly older man looked down at the ground. He sighed and told him.

"I have been having dreams about Mary…"

"I'm sorry what?" Hogan quickly cut in. Hochstetter looked up at Hogan and said.

"The dreams are of her being beaten in front of me, and I can't help her. She is bloody, and is begging for whoever to stop. No matter how hard I try to get to her… I can't… After seeing those pictures of her… I don't sleep like I used too." Hogan raised both brows at this.

"Your really shaken up; aren't you?" Hochstetter looked down at the ground and nodded his head.

"I am… If there is only one good thing I do in my lifetime; I want it to be helping Mary. To know that she will not be cheated out of getting what is hers. That girl deserves every wonderful thing in the world, and I know that you, Klink, and her sweetheart will give it to her… but I want too as well. It's hard to believe that one young sweet girl could change the way I think and do things. I never thought that I would switch sides, or even think about it, but I don't know what it is… being around your daughter… she makes me want to do the right thing, and to help put a stop to this war. If she can smile, laugh, and have dreams after everything that was done to her… That alone is what amazes me about her… and when she had cried, and told me that she was sorry that I had to read and look at what was done to her… that shocked me even more." Hogan smiled at this.

"Mary has that way about her."

"Do you two have to talk so damn loud!" Someone said in a harsh whisper. When Hogan heard the voice from behind him; he jumped away from the tree, and yelled out.

"WHAT THE FUCK!" Hochstetter couldn't stop himself; he had to chuckle at this.

"Where the hell did you come from!?" Hogan asked the woman that was behind him in a low, but harsh voice. At this Hochstetter began to laugh lightly. The blonde headed woman narrowed her eyes at him.

"I came from the grave you idiot." She said dryly.

"Oh don't tell him that." The Major said as he stood up. Hogan dropped his hand from his chest, and took a few breaths in.

"What kind of flowers do you put on the graves?" Both Hogan and Hochstetter looked at her; then at each other.

"I always put Calla Lilies on them." Said Hogan out of breath.

"And I always place Tulips on the graves." Said Hochstetter still trying hard to hold his laugh in. The young woman then replied.

"I always place Hydrangeas on the graves." Hogan nodded his head, and looked over toward the Major.

"Hochstetter this is the agent we are to meet tonight." The Major walked over toward the young woman; who took a step back, but stopped to look at Hogan. She saw the gun that was in Hogan's hand. Her eyes saw that the gun was being pointed at the Gestapo Major in front of her.

"Fräulein I would like for either you, or someone you know to go to England and see if you can find, and get a young woman's inheritance. Her grandfather Charles Kendrick left it to her. The young woman's name is Mary Hogan. Her mother tried to kill her many times to get her money, and whatever else her grandfather had left her… I'm afraid that someone else will try to take it from her, and that sweet girl has been threw so much. She needs to know that someone that loved her without seeing her; had left her something." The woman looked over toward Hogan with raised brows.

"Mary is your daughter?" She asked the young Colonel. Hogan nodded his head at this.

"Yes she is, and could you please find out what her grandfather had left her. So after the war she can get it." The young woman nodded her head and told them.

"I will go myself and try to get what I can. I will radio you, and let you know when to meet me; so that you can get the file on it." Hogan nodded his head; then she looked over toward Hochstetter who did the same. The woman looked at both men, and nodded her head; then turned and walked off. Hogan and Hochstetter looked at each other, and started to walk back to camp. As they walked Hogan said in a low voice.

"Thank you Wolfgang." Hochstetter smiled and replied.

"Your welcome Robert… and I will not tell anyone about you and Klink being in a relationship either." When the Major said this; Hogan stopped walking and looked at the man.

"What?" The Major turned and looked at the younger man.

"You two need to be more careful." Hogan smiled wide at this, and raised his hand up to rub the back of his head and neck.
