Lucy and Happy didn't know what to do.
Natsu was in complete END mode complete with a demonic look of scales while Gray was in full Demon Slayer mode with dark shadows dancing across his face. They were Demon and Demon Slayer now what made then Natsu and Gray seemed completely lost to the world and nothing either Lucy or Happy said snapped them out of it.
They were now currently in a deadlock as their powered attacks were deflected with ease and they went into just trying to strangle one another to death instead.
"Natsu! Gray!" Lucy shrieked. "Just stop it! This isn't you! You're supposed to be friends!"
"Yeah!" Happy yelled. "Come back Natsu! Come back Gray!"
"Oh jeeze!" Lucy and Happy turned to see Cana staggering across the debris. She looked completely exasperated at the sight before her. "We're in the middle of a war and you two are having one of your spats now?!" she barked crossly. "Grow up guys!"
Natsu and Gray ignored her as Gray sent a blast of ice at Natsu head and Natsu shattered it with a fiery kick before sending a fireball out at Gray.
"Oh come on guys!" Cana bellowed after them. "You need to learn to forgive each other and make out."
"CANA!"
"I mean make up, I meant to have said make up!" Cana corrected herself though her incorrigible smirk indicated that she hadn't made a mistake nor was she very repentant about it. "….by shoving their tongues down each other's throat."
Predictably this didn't help the situation whatsoever.
