Summary: Did any of you know that Chappy is a medieval torture device….?

Pairings: Happy/Charle, implied Gajeel/Levy, and general other friendship feels.

Out of all the possible couples that could happen in Fairy Tail, no one had ever thought that Happy and Charle would happen. As wonderful Happy was (even though he was totally annoying) and how suitable to helping Happy grow up, Charle was, there hadn't exactly been many good signs that Charle would cave and fall in love with Happy.

(Charle giving into temptation and murdering Happy on the other hand…)

But it finally did and Mirajane, personally, couldn't help but feel ecstatic about it all.

"Charle and Happy are now a couple!" she squealed. "I'm so excited!" Mira leaped in the air as she clapped giddily. "Now Chappy is cannon!"

"Chappy?!" The entire guild chorused in bewilderment.

"Cannon?" Natsu repeated dumbly. "Charle and Happy are going to blow things up?" he asked bewilderedly as he scratched the back of his head. "Awesome!" he grinned.

"That's not what cannon means in this content, Natsu!" Lucy exclaimed. "It means that they're official in the story."

"What a weird thing to say," Natsu scowled, "you're such a weirdo, Luce."

Lucy gritted her teeth as she closed her eyes and counted to ten. It was too early in the day to give Natsu a Lucy Kick just yet.

"Idiot!" Gray snickered.

"What was that?!"

To the surprise of absolutely no one, Gray and Natsu then immediately started brawling. As the pair wrestled on the floor, majority of the guild went back to what they were doing or congratulating Happy and Charle.

"Chappy," Levy said as she tapped her pen against her chin thoughtfully, "isn't that the torture device that is used to chop off a man's…..downstairs," she finished off lamely as her cheeks suddenly glowed bright red.

It took two full minutes of utter silence for the guild to figure out what Levy had just implied and immediately half the guild blanched (and covered their private parts) and the other half hastily covered their mouths to prevent their laughter escaping.

Gajeel, however, had no qualms of hiding his laughter. "Gihihihihihihihihi!" he sniggered. "A man's downstairs?" he teased Levy. "No need to be so prudish, Shrimp. You've seen my downstairs plenty of times before."

"Gajeel!"

"Heh," Cana smirked, "I knew Charle emasculated Happy."

Charle pursed her lips tightly together as she glowered at the guild. "Hmmph!" she huffed primly as she turned her back on them.

"Levy!" Happy wailed. "You totally ruined our romantic-ness. That's sooooooooooooooooooooooo mean of you!" he whined childishly as his eyes shimmered with unshed tears. "I suspected this sort of thing from Lucy but not you!"

"Oi!" Lucy barked indignantly. "What is that supposed to mean?!"

The guild exploded into noise once more as Natsu and Gray's fight spilled out to involve other members, Levy was shrieking at Gajeel for embarrassing her, and Lucy was chasing Happy around the guild building.

Mira, however, just pouted to herself.

It was so typical of her guild mates to rain on her shipping parade like this!
