Chapter 8:
The Totomi estate was busy as the welcoming of a new baby was on its way. Late Lord Uhara's heir to the family head position was being born today. With help from Kya's mother and great-grandmother, Kya was prepared to meet her son. Only the women of both families were allowed to assist and they were all eager to meet the child. His arrival into this world was long anticipated and they were all excited.
"You're doing good, Kya." Katara said as she held her daughter's hand. "Keep breathing."
Hama and the estate midwives spread the young mother's legs open, using the damp warm rags to soothe her aching body.
Ozai and the men of the estate waited outside the head lady's chambers. It wasn't long before the screaming turned into pants of relief and the wails of a baby caught all their attention. The men all grew impatient to greet their new Lord, the chamber doors opened and they all entered to see Kya holding Jotaro.
Everyone except Ozai got on their knees at Kya's bedside and bowed, "You have our allegiance Lord Jotaro. We are loyal to you and the Totomi clan." One of them said.
Kya smiles at them and looked to her infant son, wishing his father was here to see him. A few tears pricked her eyes and her mother came to her side to hold her hand.
"It's alright, Kya. Your father and I are here." Katara consoled her daughter as her father placed his hand on her shoulder.
"Lady Totomi, though your marriage to our late Lord Uhara Totomi had not commenced, we still wish to honor you as if you were his wife."
Kya nodded her head to them and smiled through her tears as she held her son tight in her arms. "Thank you all. I appreciate your kind gestures."
As everyone left to allow the Lady of the clan to rest, Katara held her grandson and smiled joyfully at him. She couldn't believe she was a grandmother now. It warmed her heart to know her family had expanded and she was getting to be a part of it rather than watch from afar.
"He has his father's look." Hama pointed out.
Katara never got to get a good look at Uhara but she knew him to be a good looking man. She glanced from her grandson to where Ozai was sitting idly, twiddling his fingers in his lap.
"Ozai, come see your grandson." Katara said as she walked up to him.
Looking up at her as she stood holding his grandson out to him, Ozai shook his head and both sirens raised their brows at him. Katara handed Hama the baby and placed her hands on her hips.
"Ozai, what's wrong with you?" She bent over to get in his face.
Ozai looked at her and shook his head as he gave her a distressed expression.
"What's going on, Ozai?" Katara was beginning to worry as Ozai had never made that sort of expression.
Swallowing hard as he ran his hand into his hair and gripped a fist of it, "Ami's pregnant."
Hama gasped as Katara stood up straight and gave him a dark expression before slapping the shit out of him.
"Katara!" Hama called to her granddaughter.
Spitting on the ground by his feet, "you dumb fuck, I should knock your ass out." She said chillingly cold.
Holding his bruised cheek, "I'm sorry."
"Fuck your sorry." Katara hissed before storming out.
…
After a few weeks of helping their daughter get adjusted to her new role as a mother, Katara was ready to return to her estate to continue decorating and furnishing her new home.
"Take care of yourself, my love." Katara hugged her daughter and then kissed her grandson's cheek.
Kya smiled at her mother and glanced at her father, "Try not to fight dad so much, Mom. I think he's having a hard enough time as it is."
"Bastard knocked up his princess bitch." Katara scornfully said under her breath.
"Mom."
Katara pouted as she eyed Ozai with disdain.
Ozai hugged his daughter, ignoring the look he got from Katara. She had been giving him dirty looks ever since he told her about Ami. He knew she'd be pissed off. He only had children with her and Ursa. Now there was another woman being added to the equation.
Katara invited her grandmother and ex-husband back to her estate for tea in her courtyard. Hama fixed the tea for them. She noticed the two staring each other down. She knew her granddaughter was upset about Ozai getting Ami pregnant but these things happen. Her and Ozai weren't together so it wasn't like he cheated on her. He was with Ami and if they were having a baby, then that was that.
Katara didn't understand why Ozai would let this happen. He already had children with her and Ursa, both women he had been married to. Women he had known for years. But he goes get this new bitch pregnant in no time at all. They had all been dating for almost a year now and she was already pregnant. It didn't make sense to her. Ozai always told her he wanted no more children but here he was, having more children.
Getting fed up with the constant attitude, "Why can't I have children with someone else?! Why do I have to go through you?! You're not the gatekeeper of my loins, Katara!"
Katara's narrowed eyes lifted to his as he was now standing, "So this was planned?"
"No, but it's not something for you to be upset with me over! You literally have children with two other men!" Ozai shouted.
"The circumstances of both Ryu and Mailan are different." She said calmly.
"I get that but what have you to be mad for?!"
"I have the right to be upset."
"You don't! This has nothing to do with you!"
"It does." She bit out, starting to lose her cool. "You just added that bitch to the little mommy club you got going on here after you made it clear to me you wanted no more children!"
"Kat-"
"We were supposed to have another baby! Two to be exact! But they died inside me and you told me you didn't want to have anymore! So why did you knock Ami up?! Why is she so fucking special that you go back on your word?! You son of a bitch!"
Ozai and Hama watched storm clouds form over their head as Katara lashed out. Soon snow blew down from the sky and swept across them and the courtyard like a blizzard would.
"I'm pissed off because you clearly still have feelings for me, but you go and knock up Ami! How are we supposed to be together with that bitch in the picture?!
Hama's teeth chattered as Ozai took off his robe and threw it over her shoulders, warming his body with his bending.
"Katara, we're not getting back together! We're done! I've already told you this!" Ozai shouted at her.
Katara's eyes glowed and the blizzard was then thrusted into Ozai's chest, throwing him into the bushes. "You keep toying with me!"
"I'm not!" He yelled before Katara buried him in snow.
"You do!" She growled and started levitating, snow swirling around the courtyard they were having tea in. "You led me to believe it would be us! And you left me for her! You asshole!"
Hama watched fearfully as Katara's fit of anger was causing a horrible blizzard. She knew her granddaughter was powerful but she never thought she'd be so powerful to literally levitate off the ground like that while trying to turn the courtyard into a scene from the ice age.
Ozai struggled to get out the snow he was covered in as melting it didn't help since Katara just piled more on him.
"Katara, dear, calm down. Ozai wasn't trying to hurt you." Hama called to her granddaughter. "He's just trying to live his life the best he can as should you."
Hearing her grandmother, Katara looked down to see the woman offering her hand to her and floated towards the woman to take her hand.
"Come, you're alright." Hama assures her.
Katara's feet touched the ground and her hand grasped Hama's. She breathed in a little and her eyes returned to normal, the storm clouds elevated.
"Katara, please don't work yourself up over him. He's an idiot and you know how idiots are. It's like talking to a brick wall." Hama cupped both sides of Katara's face. "Go to your chambers and rest, you need it."
Katara nodded her head and bent the snow off of Ozai before leaving.
Gasping as he finally got air, "Oh, that bitch! She gets on my nerves!" Ozai melted the snow as he radiated heat off of his entire body.
Hama folded her arms and eyed Ozai, "You were wrong to talk to her like that, Ozai."
"Wrong?! I'm being honest with her!"
"You're being an asshole." Hama put her arms in her sleeves after waving her hand to dissolve the snow. "That girl loves you. So much so she died twice over you! Have you no tact in regards to her feelings?"
Ozai sighed as he ran his hand through his hair, "I told her I still care."
"And I'm sure you do but you should be kinder to her feelings, Ozai. She has been with you since she was 18, now a woman of 42 years and you're just discarding her like she meant nothing. What happened to wanting her by your side, Ozai? You can't tell me you don't still want that."
"Not now, I don't." Ozai told Hama.
Hama sucked her teeth and began walking off, "What kind of pussy does that princess bitch have to make you lose your fucking mind, fucking halfwit."
…
Aside from Katara having her anger towards Ami's pregnancy, Ozai had his own reserves. A lot of what his ex-wife said was true. He didn't want more children and even more, he still recalled the last two times Katara had been pregnant with his child. She lost them. Each time it had been a gruesome miscarriage and he hated to think he'd have some misfortune before another child of his in that way. He remembered getting hopes up with the last child they were pregnant with and how Katara glowed so much. All of her children she had, his and Zuko's and Arnook's. He loved each of them as he loved Katara but he really didn't want more children. Especially not with Ami. If she was Katara, he'd suck it up as he knew the waterbender wanted it but Ami was a human. He feared having a human child when he was immortal.
Approaching Ami in his bed chambers, Ozai found her looking through the catalogs for baby clothes and rubbing her very flat belly. He sighed as he figured he was about to have a hard talk with her and she wasn't going to like it. Women were so easy to read when it came to babies.
"Ozai," She turned around upon seeing him and smiled. "Look at these baby clothes. They're so cute."
Ozai glanced at the catalog and shifted his eyes to her as she seemed to gleefully be enjoying the fact she was pregnant.
"Ami, we need to talk." Ozai said.
Never liking when a conversation starts that way, "Okay."
The two sat in the sitting room and Ozai knew it was best to not beat around the bush with this matter.
"I don't want more children, Ami." Ozai started. "I have two grandchildren, I'm 64, and I'm not up to the task of taking care of another child."
Ami sat there, feeling her heart sink into her stomach, and she could only shake her head in response to Ozai. There was no way she was getting rid of her child. She had no children and this would be her first. Ozai couldn't expect her to just get rid of it. It was not happening.
"Ami, liste-"
"No, you listen, Ozai." Ami said calmly as she could. "This is my only child and I'm not giving it up for any reason. Even if you begged me."
Ozai sighed and was about to say something to Ami but she stood up and took his hand in hers. She then placed his hand on her stomach and smiled at him.
"We're going to have a baby, Ozai. Someone is as smart and full of ideas like us. A little inventor. Would that not be good for the world? Remember the future you saw in your brother's illusion you told me about? What if he or she gets to see that future too?"
"But Ami-"
"Shhh, just close your eyes and think about it, Ozai. I love you and I want this piece of you to exist. Please, allow them to live amongst us." Ami planted a sweet kiss on his forehead.
Shutting his eyes as he couldn't bring himself to tell her to get rid of it. This was her first child and he knew how women were. Ami was right. This would be a child with both their minds put together. He could be a genius. He hoped it was a boy. Maybe this wasn't so bad. He just probably let himself be bummed out about it due to Katara's reaction but after discussing this with Ami, he felt a little better. It was just one more child amongst the many he already had. This wasn't awful. It wasn't the end of the world.
"Okay, Ami." He told her. "Let's hope for a boy. I want another son."
Excitedly, Ami cheered and threw her arms around Ozai and kissed him repeatedly.
"Thank you, Ozai! Thank you so much!"
….
A small belly had begun to form on Ami and Ozai had grown to like the idea of having another child. He really wanted another son. With Zhiar and Zuko being at odds with him, he hoped for a son that didn't hate him so much. Much like how Ryu seemed to appreciate him.
As the Phoenix King busily worked on his plans for expanding the steam engine railroads and devise a new invention, Mailan runs into his office and jumps into his lap.
"Daddy!" The little girl hugged him tight with her little arms.
Surprised to see her, "Aren't you supposed to be in school?" Ozai asked.
"I gave her the day off." Katara said as she entered the office with very little care in her step.
Looking to his ex-wife with a stern look, "I only allowed you to take her because you assured me she was going to school at the academy."
"It's just a single day, Ozai. Calm down. I figured she could use some home school lessons today since all the firebenders at school are working on form and stances today." Katara explained. "She's a waterbender, so she needs to learn water form and stances."
Ozai eyed her funny as he held Mailan in his arms and received plenty of kisses from his overly affectionate daughter.
"What?!"
"Don't pull her out of school again, Katara. I mean it."
"Fine." She rolled her eyes as Mailan jumped out of her daddy's lap and rush to where Kiko was laying down on the sofa.
Katara evil eyed the fat cat and then took a seat in the chair in front of Ozai's desk, throwing legs over the armrest.
"You look bored, honey." Ozai said in a light tone.
Flipping her hair over her shoulder, "I am. Zuko is all work and no play, so I don't get to have chats with him like I do with you. Azula and Ursa are never available as they can't be idle for five seconds and I tried looking for Daikoku but he's nowhere to be found, he made the best home-made hooch."
"I'm glad my oldest children and two exes are friends of yours." Ozai said sarcastically.
Giving him a false smile as she squinted her eyes at him, "All my friends left me after you came into the picture."
Rolling his eyes, "That was twenty-four years ago, let it go."
Sighing as she tilted her head and looked at him, "Can we please have a drink together, Ozai? You're the only person that's fun to drink with."
"So you can take advantage of me? Hell no. Go drink with Iroh."
"I don't like drinking with Iroh. Zuko made me do that last week and your brother tried to kiss me. What's with your family wanting to bang me? Ursa and your daughter included."
Ozai gave her a grin, "Maybe if you stop prancing around like you're Hama 2.0, people would be so quick to come onto you."
"Hama 2.0?! Fuck you, Ozai!"
"Language!" Ozai told her as he looked over at their daughter to see she hadn't heard her mother's fool language.
Groaning in annoyance, Katara slid out of the chair onto the floor. "Can we spar?"
"No."
"Can we go shopping together? We had a lot of fun last time."
"You had fun while I carried everything. Absolutely not"
"Can we dance? You're such a good dancer, Ozai. It's like being swooned to sleep."
"How about you go get lost, hmm? Sound like a plan?"
Katara gave him the middle finger as she sat on the floor.
Ozai sighed and rolled his eyes, putting down his quill. "Cho-Seng asked about you. He didn't know you moved until I told him. How about go bothering him?"
Katara's eyes lit up. "He wants to talk to me?"
Nodding his head, "Yup."
Katara got up and rushed out the door to go find Cho-Seng.
"Thank Agni, your mother is gone."
Mailan giggled, "Mommy is silly."
"That she is, sweetheart. That she is."
Returning from seeing Cho-Seng, Katara went back to Ozai's office and saw Mailan running past her with Kiko playfully chasing her. She chuckles and enters the office where Ozai was looking over all his work like he had been before she left earlier. The happy waterbender made her way to his desk and around it. She gleefully sat herself on his desk and beamed at him. He glanced at her and how she was sitting on his desk.
Turning his attention away from the work he had to do and to the smiling waterbender, Ozai sighed. "Am I to assume that things went well?"
"Since I'm not here with you to think of constantly and I have my own place, Cho-Seng believes I'll finally be ready to move on. I think we'll end up together again."
Ozai wanted to be happy for her but he wasn't. Just like she didn't like Ami, he didn't like Cho-Seng. She was possessive and so was he, only he was better at hiding it out of the two of them.
"I really should let things work. Cho-Seng is a really good guy and I don't know where else I'm going to find that so...I'm going to try apologizing and sort things out."
"Or you could learn to be alone."
"That too." Katara chuckled to herself.
Ozai could only watch as she talked about trying to figure herself out and what she wanted for herself. He could see living away from him had her thinking a lot and she sounded so idealistic and confused by her own confusion. It was cute. Katara wasn't the most intelligent woman he had met but she was thought provoking and quick to learn. She was also kind hearted towards the needy and innocent. Compassionate to all plights. She was forgiving and resilient. Katara was beautiful and fun loving and he loved every one of her flaws and faults. Her temper and wrath. Her calm before the storm. Her fight and tears. He loved it all.
And yet, he was choosing someone else over her. Someone he could yet say he was in love with but definitely felt something close to it. Ami was everything Katara wasn't and more and he sorely needed something different from the wild erratic love that he and Katara had shared for many years. He needed someone who was mature like him and thought the things he thought. Someone that could come up with ideas with him and push him towards goals he doubted himself on. Ami was a woman that help a man move forward and Katara, she was good for forgetting what would come next. He needed to see the future, not be blind to it. Ami was the better choice for him. But even so….
Ozai stared lovingly at his beautiful waterbender, "I wish things had been different for us." He cut her off from her ranting and saw her pause to stare at him with a blank expression.
Before he knew it, Katara grabbed him by his face and forced her lips onto his. She kissed him passionately and with every fiber of love in her, wanting him to know how much she wanted to manifest the feeling in her chest. He caved and returned her eagerness, pulling her from his desk into his lap. She pulled his hair tie out of his topknot and fisted his hair, rolling her hips in his lap as he hiked up her dress.
Katara frantically fumbled with his robe's ties and buttons. Needing to hurried undo them so she could have him in this heated moment.
Lifting her up in his arms, Ozai knocked everything off his desk and threw her on it. He ripped open her dress and tore off her panties before undoing his pants.
"Ozai!" Katara gasped in delight.
Ozai smashes his lips to hers as he pushed himself inside of her and began fucking her on the table. He fucked her hard and bit her lip till it bled, grunting as he felt immediate satisfaction in her body. Toying with her breasts, holding her by her throat, plowing the wet tight pussy he had never tired of, oh, he was in heaven.
Hissing through his teeth, "I'm gonna cum."
"So soon?"
"Shut up, you do this to me!" He said biting her neck as he fucked her hard into his desk and gripped the edges for harder thrusts.
Katara sat up and threw her arms around his neck as she moved against him and his thrusting. The two attacked each other's lips as they fucked on the desk. However, the sexual bliss they were in was short lived when they heard a scream.
Stopping what they were doing, Ozai looked up in shock to see Ami gaping at the sight of them. She immediately takes off running when their eyes make contact. Throwing Katara off of him and flipping her over the desk, the Phoenix King buttons up his pants and runs after Ami.
Rubbing her back from being thrown, Katara winced and looked after Ozai in disappointment. Did he really just toss her like that?
A little while later, the waterbender is lingering around the office when Ozai shows back up in anger and frustration.
"Ami lost the baby!" Ozai shouts.
Katara's hands goes over her mouth as she stares wide eyed at him. "Oh my La!"
"You shouldn't have thrown yourself at me!" Ozai paces around his office in anger. "You know I'm with Ami! Was this your plan?!"
"No! Ozai, I would nev-"
"I don't know that! You get out!"
"Oz-"
"GET OUT!" His eyes glowed red as he hollered at her.
Katara only looked at him with a hurt expression before hurrying out of there. She couldn't believe he'd accuse her of trying to hurt Ami and her baby. She would never. It was just an impulsive thing she did that now she regrets. She didn't mean for it to go as far as it did or for Ami to see. Especially not for her to end up in distress and lose her baby.
…..
Kya was surprised that her mother had come by to visit. Though, truthfully, she knew her mother had a lot of time on her hands with Mailan and Ryu in school during the day. She welcomed her mother in and had her come to Jotaro's nursery to see him. One of the caregivers was changing his clothes when they arrived and Katara could see the place was even more stocked with gifts.
"I see the Totomi clan is treating you well." Katara said as she looked around to see boxes of unopened gifts.
Nodding her head as she was handed the baby, "Yes, they see me as their head lady and treat me very well. I just wish I had Uhara here with me."
"I know, Kya." Katara felt her daughter's pain.
"How's dad doing? Is he okay about Ami's pregnancy?" Kya asked as she handed her son to her mother.
Holding her grandson in her arms and kissing him, "Ami lost the baby and your father blames me."
Kya's eyes widened, "You didn't have anything to do with it, did you?"
Shaking her head, "Ami saw your father and I….well let's just say we were in a compromised position and it caused her distress."
"Then it's his fault too." Kya folded her arms. "Why are you and dad just dancing around what everyone already can see?"
Katara groaned as she bounced her grandson on her hip, "Your father is a stubborn fool. He's the one not wanting to admit things cause I think he actually really cares about Ami."
Kya rolled her eyes. Sure, her father might care about Ami but why was he discarding the person he loved? What was his problem?
"Look, mom, just forget about him. If dad is going to be that damn stupid, let him." Kya told her mother.
Chuckling as she cooed at Jotaro, Katara nodded in agreement. "I plan on possibly fixing things with Cho-Seng eventually and not worrying about your father so much."
"Good. Now, let's have some cake." Kya led the way to her dining room.
…
Ozai rubbed Ami's back as she sobbed in the sheets over their lost child. She didn't even want to look at him. Blaming him for why she lost their child. She was both furious and depressed. How could he cheat on her like that? And with his whore of an ex?
"Why would you do that to me, Ozai?! Why?! I love you and you go fuck that whore!" Ami screamed at him through her tears as her back was facing him.
"I'm sorry, Ami. It won't happen again."
"I don't believe you! You keep defending her! You're always in her face! You never set real boundaries! And you're hurting me in the process! Who is it you want, Ozai?!" Ami shouted.
Ozai sighed, "Ami, I want you."
Ami turned to face him and stared hard in his eyes with her teary ones, "Then act like it! Stop making me wonder all the damn time whether you're toying with me or not!"
"I promise you, I am not toying with you. I want us to be together for as long as we can make this last, Ami. I love you." Ozai confesses.
Feeling some of her anger subside at that, "You love me?"
"Yes, I do." Ozai presses his forehead to hers. "I love you, Ami. Let me prove that to you."
Ami sniffled and nodded.
…
Katara was bathing when Zuko barged into her bathroom in her estate like he owned the damn place, which he kind of did. But anyways, Katara quickly grabbed her towel to cover up when she saw Zuko did not look happy.
"Zuko, what is it?" She asked him.
Pulling a letter out, Zuko tossed it to her and scowled. "Father wrote you. Apparently, you two have been up to no good and cost Ami her child."
Furrowing her brows at Zuko, "It wasn't intentional."
"It was fucked up nonetheless." Zuko spat. "You need to stop throwing yourself at him when he clearly doesn't want you."
"Well, I know that now. What is this?"
"A letter stating you're not allowed in the Phoenix Empire unless accompanied by me or upon invitation." Zuko explained.
Katara read over the letter and balled it up, throwing it at Zuko. "Well, fuck that! Ozai can't just do that to me!"
"He can and he has." Zuko told her.
Katara grabbed her bathrobe and tied it around her before opening a portal and going after Ozai. She hurried out of the tub she climbed out of and rushed towards Ozai's chambers where she found him smoking a pipe outside on her balcony.
"Did you not get my letter?" Ozai blew out smoke from his pipe.
"I did and I wanna know what possessed you to write such a letter?! You're banishing me!"
"Katara-
"Lady Katara, you're here. Great. Let's talk." Ami showed up wearing some rather revealing clothes.
Katara narrowed her eyes at Ami, "I have nothing to say to you. I'm speaking to Ozai."
"Then you're talking to us both, Katara." Ami said as her warm expression cooled.
Going colder than her, Katara gripped her fists and looked to Ozai to say something. But he didn't. He just smoked his pipe and allowed Ami to speak.
"Ozai and I are moving forward with our life together and you're constantly undermining it. For this to be successful between us, you need to know your place."
"My place?!"
"Yes, Katara," Ozai said as he turned to look at her. "Your Place is where you are in the Fire Nation. With the children surrounding you. Not here trying to seduce me."
"Seduce you?! I don't have to! You still want me!"
"Stop talking nonsense."
Katara looked from Ozai to Ami, "You're putting on a show for her at my expense. Really?"
"It's not all bad, Lady Katara. Look," Ami pulled out a sealed scroll and handed it to Katara. "It's an invitation to our party. Please be there. I wouldn't want it any other way."
Katara eyed the scroll and snapped her eyes to Ozai.
"You may leave now." Ami said in a snooty fashion.
Katara gripped her fists and glared at Ozai. "Fuck your party!" She then stormed out of his chambers.
…
Zhiar was helping his younger siblings with their homework when he saw his mother practicing her bending. It had been a while since he had seen her bending the element in its intended form. He always envied Kya for being a waterbender. It was such a beautiful element. Both in form and stance. Not to mention, you could always tell the emotions running through the bender by the way they wielded their stream of water. His mother was in a conflicted state as to be expected. She had been dealing with a lot and honestly, he wished she would just forget about his father and focus on the rest of them as they all adored her. His father was a moron and there was no cure for that. She needed to give up on him.
However, knowing his mother, Zhiar knew she would never stop loving his good for nothing father.
"Zhiar, I'm done! Can we go play?" Ryu asked.
Zhiar patted the little man's head and told him and Mailan to play nicely. As the two little runts took off, the firebender went to check on his mother as she sliced her stream of water through the air, stopping just before she hit him. Her eyes were wide in seconds as she dropped the stream and rushed to him.
Cupping his face as she looked him over, "I didn't hurt you, did I?"
Chuckling as he shook his head, "You're good, mom. Just checking on you. Is everything okay?"
"Yes." She lied with a perfect smile that only a mom would have.
Zhiar raised a brow, "I've been seeing you eye that invitation to dad's party for five days now. Something's up."
Sighing as she could never get anything past her kids, Katara groaned. "I'm debating going."
"Just go."
"Go?! How can I go? It's his and Ami's party."
"So? Just go and dress nice. We all know you'd do anything to get dad back."
Katara furrowed her brows at her son, "Now, you're making me sound desperate."
"Well, we all kind of feel that way." Zhiar said.
Slapping him in the back of the head, "Who is 'we all'?"
Zhiar listened off all his siblings, his father's other ex-wife, and his Uncle Iroh. Literally all of them thought she was becoming desperate. It wasn't a good look at all. Most of them wished she'd just stop. Mostly him, Zuko, and Azula. The rest wished his father would stop being a dumbass. But Zhiar had little faith in his father's ability to stop being stupid. He was stupid as all fucks but he wouldn't tell his mother that. He felt bad for her having to chase the idiot.
"Look, mom. Just dress up nice, go to the party, and make him regret discarding you, okay? Ami's not pregnant anymore, they have no real ties that bring them together other than both being complete morons. You have this in the bag. Go win your man back!"
Katara shoved her son and laughed, "Hush up, Zhiar. You're such a silly boy!"
"Man." He corrected her with a smile. "I'm a man."
Rolling her eyes playfully, "Whatever you say, silly 'man'."

Wonder what kind of Party Ozai and Ami are throwing
