To Ushindi: Thanks for the comment. I thought about giving Goku a character arc after death since it would give the man closure for something that I believe would have weighed down on him realistically. And I find it poetic for the same man who raised him could teach him how to use and master Godly ki, helping him find inner peace with himself and obtain true enlightenment.

Gohan would give up fighting given that Goku would still be around. Without the right kind of motivation since the full blooded Saiyans are around, there would be people to protect the planet. Gohan would therefore pursue his goals as a scholar while still practicing his forms here and there to remain in shape, much like Chi-Chi.

Cumber is an interesting concept, being one of the ancient Saiyans that were a member of the evil tribe. From a lore perspective, I love him. I'll be using that lore very soon.

To Terkoish: Vegeta, at this point, is already redeemed. While it is true that he wishes to fight Goku, he has come to terms that both he and Gohan had surpassed him in crucial moments of their past history. However, because of this and the fact that Gohan now wishes to take the role as Earth's protector, it gave Vegeta a new drive to trai as the role of a Saiyan elder and mentor to Gohan. This is how he eventually surpassed Gohan and mastered SSJ2. And PS, Vegeta's power is greater than SSJ2 Majin Vegeta in canon. His power will only grow from there as well.

That's all for now, on with the show.

Last time on Dragon Ball Z: PRIMAL, Gohan brought Erasa and Videl to the Lookout in order to revive those slain by Cooler and his army. This included their classmate Sharpner, who had been destroyed by the conqueror personally. Fortunately, the adolescents' intentions were successful. Satisfied with the results, our heroes head home to rest, looking towards the future while the winds of change blows towards them. What changes await the son of Goku and his friends? Find out, now!

Son Residence, Mt. Paozu, Age 774

Five days has passed since the day of Cooler's invasion. The world's eyes had opened since then. Given the city cameras were on up until the robots' attack, many who survived the devastation of most of West City bore witness to the carnage which brought the entire world to an important revelation.

The energy beams, flying with jetpack, the so-called tricks. They were real all along.

This, the massive amount of damage in West City, and the absence of Mr. Satan during the whole debacle left a negative impression on the man and his credibility. That led the masses beginning to speak against Hercule with allegations for his cowardice and apparent lies.

Of course, there were still a large portion of fans that supported Mr. Satan regardless whether or not he lied. There must have been a valid reason for his deception, according to his devoted community. Others, however, didn't see that from their perspective.

These perspectives had started to perpetuate a debate regarding the status of the supposed Savior of the World; a hero or a con artist.

The incident affected not only the random citizens, but our heroes. Maybe not all of the members of the Dragon Team. The Orange Star Trio had a rough time adjusting to the winds of change.

For example, Erasa and Sharpner had to come to terms that Sharpner had been killed and had been brought back to life. Upon this experience, Sharpner decided to get therapy to overcome the trauma. The same thing was said for Erasa given that she watched her friend's death. The pair got closer upon this experience, yet they had quite yet broken the friendship barrier to become more than what they were.

But, Sharpner's death opened his eyes to how weak he truly was. Giving some thought, he had decided to start his training as a martial artist from scratch by seeking out a new path of fighting that uses ki. To this day, he still searches.

Videl, on the other hand, had settled in with Erasa's large apartment since her parents were on a business trip in South City. The pig-tailed girl made little to no contact with her father based on the fact that Mr. Satan had been lying to her for nearly ten years of her life. In order to cope with that and that she watched her friend die in front of her, Videl spent more time with Gohan training to harness her ki while she perfected her own brawler style of fighting. In fact, within a few days after the battle, she had learned how to sense energy signature and decided to create her own charged ki attack.

As for Gohan (and Goten), he was met with a bear hug by a distraught Chi-Chi. He then explained what happened which followed the reveal of who they were in relation to the Cell Games to Videl, Sharpner, and Erasa. Of course, Chi-Chi was furious for his carelessness, but Gohan defended himself stating that he was bound to have been discovered by Videl either way and that all of them accepted him for all sides of his character. Gohan then stated that Hercule agreed to tell the truth about his victory over Cooler which gives his hero persona notoriety and issue a public apology to all martial artists that used ki in a few days. This included their family and Goku. Needless to say, Chi-Chi's mood flipped from frustrated to elated, feeling that it was about time that oaf of a man would fess up to his dirty crusade against practitioners of ki manipulation.

Now, it was the end of the beginning of July and was nearing the end of the first semester. While Gohan's grades were still high, his studying for future college courses still took priority given his mother's…persuasiveness. While it bothered Gohan that his mother never spoke to him about what kind of courses he would like to take, he rationalized the assignments by using them as a de-stresser from all of the traumatic events that he had been beaten and by watching a friend of his get destroyed due to his inaction.

Good thing that the young man had finished his schoolwork early. Now, he had finished harvesting all of the radishes that he and Goten had grown to be washed and ready to be sold in the local market.

With a truck nearby their tractor, Gohan placed the two large crates filled with the raw harvest of radishes in the back of the truck. He then opened the door, closed it behind him, then drove back home.

After that, he spent most of the early morning cleaning the vegetables with water before putting it back in the crates. This happened just in time for him to make it for breakfast as Chi-Chi finished two dozen buttermilk blueberry pancakes, ten pieces of smoked bacon, and a cup of orange juice for Gohan and Goten respectively.

The three sat down at the table and ate together.

"Good morning, boys~!" Chi-Chi greeted me happily.

"Morning, Mom," Gohan said before he began to eat with more etiquette.

Goten wolfed down his food, then looked up to his mother while saying, "Ghowd Monnig Mawmy!"

"Son Goten! What did I tell you about speaking with your mouth full, hm?" Chi-Chi questioned in a scolding manner.

"Sahwy Mawmy…" Goten said before chewing his food and swallowing. "Good morning!"

"That's better. Good morning sweety." Chi-Chi stated.

The woman turned to Gohan with a bright grin, saying, "I went to the backyard and saw the crates, Gohan-chan. You've been working the farm early."

Getting halfway through his food, Gohan swallowed his food, saying, "Well, I figured that I get through my chores and school work early so I can enjoy the rest of my Saturday."

"That's smart of you. Get the work done so you can reap the benefits of the day. I expect no less from my son." Chi-Chi said proudly.

"Ooo! Oo! Are you going to see Ve-" Goten was about to blurt out before being cut off by his older brother.

"-Videl!" Gohan said, causing Chi-Chi to look at Gohan suspiciously while Goten looked at Gohan funny. "I'm hanging out with Videl! And Erasa and Sharpner! I was planning on spending time with my friends! Hehehe!"

Chi-Chi squinted her eyes, trying to find any fault in Gohan's logic. Outside of her influence to be normal in the eyes of the public, her eldest son wasn't the one to lie to her. She knew that all too well. While she could have sworn Goten was about to say something else, she also was aware of the amount of time her Gohan was spending with the Orange Star Trio, especially with the daughter of the world's biggest fraud.

'...He's not telling me something.' Chi-Chi suspected. 'Whatever he's hiding, it better not be anything illegal if he knows what's good for him! I raised a scholar, not a delinquent! …I better have Goten follow him to see what Gohan is up to.'

"Hm…Okay." Chi-Chi nodded, allowing the teen to relax a little.

Goten, reading the room, simply nodded too as he spoke to his mom.

"Hey, Mommy? Can I visit Trunks today at Auntie Bulma's house?" Goten questioned.

"Have you done your homework?"

"Yes, ma'am!" Chirped the mini-Goku.

"Then you may. Just be sure to head home before sunset."

"Yay!" Goten cheered.

As Gohan finished his food, a buzz came from Gohan's farming trousers.

"Oh, excuse me," Gohan said as he stood up.

Walking a few feet away from the dinner table, Gohan took out his Capsule Corp brand smartphone. Looking at the screen, he saw a picture of Sharpner that appeared to be calling him. Sliding the green button, he answered the phone.

"Hello?"

(Yo, Son! How are ya doing, buddy?)

"Good morning, Sharp-san! I'm doing fine! What can I do for you?"

(Could you do me a favor? I'm looking for some info about Tenshinhan's whereabouts. Do you think you can help me?)

"Tien-san? What do you need him for, if you don't mind me asking?"

(I had some time to think about my life and what I want to do. Self-reflection, you know? After my…death, I realized how weak I am...)

"...I see. You wish to train under him. Hmm, I don't know if he takes in students. Are you sure about doing this?"

(I'm very sure, bro. I can't just sit back and watch you and Videl get crazy powerful while leaving me in the dust. Besides, I'm a fighter too. And I want to do my part to help.)

"I'm glad to hear that, Sharp-san. That's very noble of you. The last time that I checked, Tien-san was last seen in the mountains by the Mushroom Forest. I'd double-check with Bulma, though."

(Awesome! Thanks, man! I'll ask Videl to hit her up to double-check on his location. Wish me luck, Son!)

"Will do! Good luck, bye!"

Gohan hung up, then put his phone back in his pocket.

Chi-Chi, not recognizing the product, asked, "Where did you get that telephone, young man? I don't remember buying that off of the market."

"O-Oh! Sorry! I forgot to tell you about it. Erasa-san had upgraded my Cap-Phone that Bulma bought me a few days after my first day of school." Gohan scratched his head, looking sheepishly. "It's now a smartphone. I gotta keep with the times, you know!"

"...Okay, I can understand that." Chi-Chi relented.

Gohan took his plate, then washed it, dried it, then placed it in the cabinet. Then, he grabbed his satchel with a capsule with his gi in it.

"Alright mom, I'm heading out now!" Gohan said as he headed out of the front door.

Chi-Chi cried, "Have a great day, sweetheart!"

A full minute later, Chi-Chi turned to Goten and said, "Goten-chan, I have a special task for you today."

Perking up, Goten finished his food as he asked, "What is it, Mommy?"

"I need you to follow your brother for me. I have a feeling that he's hiding something." Chi-Chi said while crossing her arms.

Goten slowly nodded as she said, "Uh…I'll try. Is Big Brother in trouble?"

"I'm not sure anymore. Gohan doesn't tell me anything and it's bothering me," Chi-Chi admitted. "But I know one thing, if he's caught up in some thug-related mess then he'll be in a world of trouble!"

Goten cringed as he kept his mouth shut, not wanting to rat his brother out on where he was heading.

"That's where you come in," Chi-Chi stated. "Can you control your energy, right?"

Goten nodded silently.

"All you need to do is get your ki low enough for Gohan not to sense you. You can think of this as stealth training and a hiding game. The moment he's done with whatever you find strange for him to do, come right back here and tell me everything. Leave nothing out, understand?"

"Yes, Mommy."

Chi-Chi patted her youngest son's head, saying, "Good boy! Now, run along."

Nodding, Goten ran outside and took off to the skies while lowering his power.

Chi-Chi couldn't help but sigh as she asked out loud, "What is going on with you, Gohan-chan?"

Gizard Wasteland, One Hour Later

Goten was currently flying to where his brother was flying without being seen or detected. So far, Gohan had not sensed Goten as he focused on his destination. This was good for the seven-year-old.

While it pained him to betray his brother, at least Goten got to see his brother at full power. Of course, Gohan had shown him his Super Saiyan transformation, always admiring his strength. When hearing how powerful Gohan was at the Cell Games, Goten immediately wanted to see that. …But Gohan would deny Goten without a reason as to why. Chi-Chi would often shut down any further pleads of the young boy before Goten could press on. And due to Gohan and the other adults' instructions, he missed the chance to watch just how powerful Gohan was.

Now, Goten was finally getting the chance to see that legitimately.

As the seven-year-old followed his older brother, he ended up landing on a ledge of a plateau while Gohan was about 160 feet away from him while he was now in his gi which was now different.

Instead of wearing Piccolo's gi, he wore a gi similar to Goku's Turtle School uniform. While Goku's gi was bright orange and a dark blue undershirt, Gohan's gi had the color scheme of a dark purple the gi and a bright red undershirt. He also had matching red armbands, but have a blue obi sash wrapped around his waist. Gohan's boots were reminiscent of Goku's boots but inverted in color by being reddish-orange with a blue accent. On the back of his shirt was the Kanji symbol of his family name, Son.

Gohan stood tall and confident, facing the Prince of All Saiyans, Prince Vegeta IV, with his arms crossed with a stoic expression.

The short black haired royal Saiyan with brown highlights stood, wearing a gray version of his jumpsuit with white gloves and boots. There was still a distinct lack of his Saiyan Battle Armor, though.

Goten kept himself well hidden with his lower Battle Power suppressed compared to other larger levels of Gohan and Vegeta.

"Okay…this should be a good spot. Big brother and Mr. Vegeta shouldn't be able to sense me or see me from here."

"Dude, whatcha doin' here?"

Goten yelped as he turned to see a nonchalant Trunks, standing next to the youngest son of Goku with his arms behind his head with a rather inquisitive expression.

"Trunks!? Don't scare me like that!" Goten said in a startled manner before grabbing his a to make him crouch down. "Get down and hide your power! You're going to get me spotted!"

"Okay, okay! Sheesh!" Trunks said, yanking Goten's hand off of his arm as he crouched down. "What's up your butt?"

Goten shook his head, saying, "Nothing's up my hiney, Trunks. It's just Mommy's making me follow Gohan."

"...Aunt Chi-Chi's having you tail Gohan? That's weird… What for, though?"

"I don't really get it, myself." Goten scratched as he thought about it. "I guess it has something to do with big brother not telling her about what he's been up to so far."

"Oh, you mean like how he's being mentored by my dad?" Trunks question.

"Wait, what!?" Goten said in shock.

Trunks then crossed his arms, much like his father would while baring a smirk as he tilted his head.

"Don't tell me that you didn't know, Goten." Trunks said with a bit of amusement. "After his first day of school, Dad and Goten made a deal. Dad would teach him about all the history, science, and culture of the Saiyan race. But the catch is that he and Dad would have an all-out fight. No hold bars."

Suddenly, Goten recalled a book that he would see Gohan have on his study desk. He remembered the name.

The Saiyan Archives.

"...Oh! Ooh." Goten said, putting his hands on his mouth.

"What is it, Goten?" Trunks asked.

"...I think my big brother might be in trouble," Goten said in a whisper. "Mommy doesn't like or trust Mr. Vegeta very much, remember?"

"Oh, that's right. Dad doesn't like Aunt Chi-Chi either." Trunks recalled, rubbing his neck.

"Mommy said that she doesn't want us to become thugs and stuff like that. She sometimes calls my daddy's friends delinquents. That also includes Mr. Vegeta too. Now I have to tell her about all of this and she's going to get very mad…"

The boys shivered at the thought of what was in store for Gohan when he was done with business here.

"...Man, it's going to suck for Gohan later." Said Trunks, patting his friend's back. "Sorry that you're gonna hear all of that back at home."

"I know. I don't wanna tell Mommy, but I have to. I just wish she could let Gohan learn from your dad. She's probably not going to let him train. And if he can't train, then I won't be able to spar with him either. That's boring!" Goten pouted.

"Hey, let's forget about that now." Trunks said, pointing at the pair of older Saiyans. "You said you wanna see Gohan go all out, right?"

Goten's face lit up as he remembered why he was there.

"Right! Let's watch!"

The two young half-Saiyan children watched as Vegeta and Gohan stood across from each other.

"Vegeta." Gohan said.

Vegeta exchanged, "Brat."

"Believe it or not, I actually have a Saiyan alias," Gohan explained, which piqued Vegeta's attention.

"Oh really? And what kind of garbage did you come up with, Kakabrat? It better not be anything like that Saiyaman crap you concocted!" Vegeta scowled.

"Ziam."

Vegeta raised his eyebrow, saying, "Ziam, hm? As in wisdom? You claim to be one who is wise?"

"I like to think that it suits me-" Gohan said, taking pride in his voice.

"-Pathetic."

"What?"

Vegeta scowled as he spat, "I refuse to call you such! I may have admitted your status as an elite warrior, but you have much to learn! Wisdom has nothing to do with intelligence! It comes with time and experience! I have much more wisdom in combat than you have seen your entire life!"

Vegeta's words prompted Gohan to grit his teeth.

'What is with this guy!? It's like he's trying to piss me off!' Gohan said mentally.

"...Whatever." Gohan brushed off, not stopping to Vegeta's level. "How do you want to do this, anyway?"

"I don't care. As long as you give me a real fight, then there will be no issues." Vegeta stated as he got into the stance that he used when he fought Goku for the first time, transforming into a full-powered Super Saiyan. "Ready yourself, brat! I'm not planning to go easy on you!"

Gohan took a stance that Piccolo taught him originally while going Super Saiyan at its maximum power, saying, "I wouldn't have it any other way! Let's get to it!"

Over at the cliff, Goten and Trunks were getting hyped at the sudden rise of a power that came from their transformations.

"Wow! Are you feeling that, Trunks? Their power is super high!" Goten gushed excitedly. "This is gonna be awesome!"

"Yeah! I've been waiting to see this!" Trunks said with his eyes fixated on the main event.

As the wind flowed through the hair of both fighters, the two flicked out of sight using Rapid Movement. They suddenly reappeared, clashing with their forearms, causing the ground beneath them to cave in and leave a crater from the impact.

Jumping back away, both fighters immediately rushed back to each other to bridge the gap. Crazily enough, Gohan's punches were being matched as they collided with Vegeta's punches. That turned into the usual strategy of dodging and weaving each other's punches and kicks, with either trying to find a clear opening for an attack to land.

Gohan noticed that while he was on the defensive, his opponent had a full-blown smirk placed on his face. Gohan was confused by this, as it wasn't a smirk of his usual arrogance. It was one of confidence.

'What's gotten him so confident? He should know that I'm holding back right now.' Gohan thought to himself.

From there, Gohan went to sweep Vegeta off his feet, only for Vegeta to use one of his hands to stabilize himself and land a kick on Gohan. Fortunately, he blocked it with both of his forearms, which pushed him back twenty feet.

"That kick stung! Vegeta's gotten a lot tougher if I was able to feel that! I better stay on my toes for this one!" Gohan hissed.

With his right hand, Vegeta fired ten ki-blasts at Gohan. Gohan, seeing this, flew towards Vegeta as he either dodged or slapped the blasts. Gohan then went for a haymaker, only for Vegeta to time the punch, move out of the way and take a hold of Gohan's arm to pull him into a knee.

The half-Saiyan gasped in pain at the force of the blow, coughing up saliva.

Vegeta then went for a turning kick, sending him flying to the right. Using Rapid Movement, Vegeta reappeared seconds later to land a front kick to send Gohan skyward, then perform a double axe handle to bring the hybrid crashing down to the ground.

Floating down slowly to the crater, Vegeta said, "Get your ass back up, brat! We're getting started!"

After a moment of silence, a familiar blue beam was headed straight at Vegeta, which he flew away from before it could hit him. Little did he know, Gohan used Instant Transmission to warp behind him. By the time Vegeta had sensed him and turned around, Gohan had a ki blast ready. Thrusting his hand into the prince's abdomen, Vegeta was blasted into a nearby rock formation, embedded in the large structure of stone.

Gohan waited, cloaked with his burning golden ki. As the ground shook, Vegeta got out of the structure as he flexed his arms, destroying rock formation with his radiating golden energy in a mighty shout.

"Not bad, brat! But it will take more than a parlor trick to bring down the Prince of All Saiyans!" Vegeta stated, pointing at himself with his right thumb.

"I'd figure you'd say that, Vegeta." Gohan said as he readied himself for the fight to continue. "Come on!"

"Careful watch you wish for, boy!" Vegeta chided mocking, taking his

The two Super Saiyans phased out of plain sight, continuing their battle as the impact of their traded blows sounded off, reminiscent of sonic booms.

Goten and Trunks were having trouble keeping up with the fight. Their heads darted from one place to another, forcing them to shift their bodies to adjust to the new direction that they had to look at.

"Trunks, are you seeing this!?" Goten grinned excitedly.

"Yeah, dude! This is cool!" Trunks replied. "My dad is totally gonna beat Gohan!"

Goten, being on his brother's side, said, "No way! Gohan's gonna win!"

"Uh, yes way! My dad's like, way stronger than Gohan! He's got this in the bag!" Trunks argued.

"Tough luck, Trunks! My brother's the strongest in the whole universe! Mr. Vegeta doesn't stand a chance!"

"He does too!"

"Does not!"

"Does too!"

"Does not!"

"Does too!"

Both boys stared each other down before going back to the fight.

Vegeta and Gohan were busy trying to land a blow while in mid-air, using Afterimages to invade as they kept appearing behind each other. The cycle ended, though, with Gohan being stunned by a turning kick to his chin. Scowling at Gohan, the prince continued to push Gohan with a barrage of punches into the teen's face and abdomen with a total of thirty punches.

"What's wrong, brat?" Vegeta taunted. "Where's all of that bravado you sport from earlier? I know you can put up a better fight than this!"

After that combo, Vegeta brought Gohan to the ground again with a smooth ax kick to the top of his head. With his surging with white and blue electrical energy, Vegeta positioned himself to direct his body ninety degrees to point himself at Gohan, who landed on his feet and skidded back to stop his fall.

"If you're not gonna take this seriously, then I'll have to make you!" Vegeta screamed before releasing a white and blue beam of energy, the powerful Galaxy Breaker attack.

Gohan did not have time to react, nor to use Instant Transmission to escape the ki attack. Much like he did with his father in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Gohan outstretched his arms with his hands out, taking the blast head-on as he screamed.

Goten and Trunks watched in awe as the oldest of the hybrids struggled to contain the powerful beam. Even as a full-powered Super Saiyan, the power of the Galaxy Breaker pushed him back slowly. While Trunks was silently cheering for his father, Goten was taken aback by how much his brother was having difficulty against Vegeta.

Blood and sweat poured from Gohan's face, feeling his body tense up as he continued to stand his ground. His heart pounded erratically due to the high-stress situation which was merely spaces away from his face.

'Damn! I really did this time! I should have never underestimated Vegeta's power!' Gohan cursed at himself. 'Well, no more! If he wants my all, I'll give him my all!'

With his rage reaching its piqued, Gohan shouted and ascended to the second level of the Super Saiyan. With his strength now increased, the adolescent redirected the white and blue beam away, sending it to a nearby mountain, blowing up a part of the mountain in the process.

Trunks and Goten's jaws dropped, as they now were near the presence of the Ascended Super Saiyan and his monstrous amount of energy

"Holy-! G-Goten! Is that G-Gohan!?"

"H-He did it again!" Goten stuttered before getting excited again. "He's gone Super Saiyan Level Two! Alright, Big bro! Mr. Vegeta's in for it now!"

While Goten cheered happily, Trunks couldn't help but see his father floating, unphased by the change Gohan had undergone. Yes, Trunks does believe that his father was incredibly stronger. But the boy genius would be a fool if he did not recognize the rise in power that Gohan now possessed. Yet, his father never budged at the sight of Gohan.

'I don't get it, Goten's brother's power shot through the roof, yet Dad hasn't even batted an eye about it! What's up with that?' Trunks questioned mentally.

Vegeta floated back down to the ground to look up at Gohan, now in his Ascended Super Saiyan state, Super Saiyan Level Two.

"There, this is my full power. Just as you wanted. Are you satisfied?" Gohan questioned coldly.

Vegeta, rather than being angry or scared, clapped his hands in a slow manner. Almost in a patronizing manner, irritating Gohan.

"Congratulations, brat! You managed to transform once more! And what was this? Your third, no, fourth time?" Vegeta chuckled. "Ha! And here I thought you forgot to tap into that form."

"I wouldn't be laughing if I were you, Vegeta. Remember, I took down Cooler in this form while he was in a transformed state beyond Frieza's Final Form and Cell's Super Perfect Form." Gohan smirked. "Not to mention I had a boost thanks to that recent fight. At this point, you don't stand a chance against me now."

Snorting, Vegeta began to chuckle. Then that chuckle turned into explosive full-blown laughter, taking Gohan by surprise. Unlike any other time where the Prince of All Saiyans finds humor in his old diabolical ways or sadistic sense of humor, here, he was legitimately laughing at Gohan's face.

"What the hell is so damn funny!?" Gohan demanded with his face now scowling at the older full-blooded Saiyan, who was grinning like a madman.

Wiping a tear from his left eye, Vegeta said, "Hahaha! Apologies. Oh! I just find it hysterical that you think that the form you're in right now makes you special. How adorable!"

"...Excuse me?" Gohan questioned in a steel tone.

"What? Does my words not hold true?" Vegeta questioned, outstretching his arms away from his body similarly to Frieza. "Don't think that I haven't figured out what happened the other day. I've watched and sensed everything thanks to that attendant of the smaller Namek's viewing orb. You held back, then somebody died because of it. And what did you do about it? Oh yes! You toyed around just like you did at the Cell Games, and you nearly lost all of your power in the middle of the fight. All because you didn't finish the fight. I don't know how, but your victory over Frieza's alleged brother had to have been a fluke. I know it. And you know it too."

Gohan, out of anger, rushed in to punch Vegeta in the face, screaming, "SHUT UP!"

Suddenly, Gohan's fist ended up being intercepted by Vegeta's open hand, leaving a powerful shock wave that shook the ground beneath them as a crater formed as a result.

Gohan gasped at this, then tried punching Vegeta with the other hand, but the prince caught that one too.

Goten stuttered while at the cliff, "H-He caught Gohan's punches!"

"...And he's still standing!" Trunks added, who was next to Goten.

"W-What the-!?" Gohan stammered.

Vegeta went on to say, "You know what's your problem, brat? You think you're invincible."

Vegeta gave Gohan a mean headbutt, making the Ascended Super Saiyan stagger back from a potentially broken nose.

"You think that all you need is to throw a tantrum to solve your problems. Get angry, then overwhelm your enemies, right?" Vegeta said as his energy started to rise, shocking not only Gohan but Goten and Trunks as well.

Vegeta reappeared close to Gohan and landed a flying kick on Gohan's chest, sending him straight to the ground while sliding back teen feet. Vegeta caught up with the downed sitting up as he watched Vegeta's swelling energy soaring higher.

"Not only that, but you allow your soft nature to jeopardize the planet! And for what? Because you don't fancy combat? Little Kakabrat doesn't like to fight?" Vegeta spat. " Get over yourself! Regardless if you're a Saiyan male or a human of Earth, a real man must do whatever it takes to survive and defend their family! Even if it means partaking in acts they normally wouldn't enjoy! That is the reality that we live in!"

Gohan flinched at Vegeta's as he did when he first encountered him as a child all those years ago.

Vegeta stood, clenching his fists as he said, "While you were busy wasting all of that untapped potential that was a gift from our glorious race, I've spent every day for the past seven years training, driving my body to the ground to be able to reach new heights and beyond! And I must say-"

With a massive shout, Gohan, Goten, and Trunks watched as Vegeta ascended into the second level of the Super Saiyan before their very eyes.

"-I'm quite pleased with the results." The prince said with swagger as electricity flowed throughout his body.

Getting up, out of complete bewilderment, Gohan said, "Y-You–!?"

"Ascended?" Vegeta finished. "Spare me. I've done more than ascend, brat. Unlike you, I mastered your precious second level. What did you think I was doing in the Time Chamber?"

The hybrid's eyes widened before he narrowed them.

"...So that's the reason why you were gone. You were perfecting the form." Gohan said stoically as he clenched his fists.

'His energy, it's unbelievable. It's much more refined and controlled like how Dad and I did back at the Cell Games when he taught me how to transform into a Super Saiyan. That's probably where Vegeta borrowed the idea from.' Gohan analyzed in his mind.

Pointing at himself with his thumb, Vegeta said, "Just as intended, your elder and mighty prince now stands above the food chain as the strongest in the universe."

Vegeta then crossed his arms with a grin as he continued to speak.

"What's it going to be, brat? Do you still plan to stand your ground as a Saiyan warrior and challenge me? Or shall you surrender?... Who am I kidding? You and I both know you're good for the latter. After all, you're not a fighter. Kakarot's brat or not, you're nothing more than a disappointment. No wonder he chose death over you."

Having enough of Vegeta's voice, Gohan disappeared using Instant Transmission and reappeared as he landed a devastating punch to the full-blooded Saiyan's face.

'How dare he!? HOW DARE HE!? I'LL KILL HIM!'

Fueled by his rage, Gohan started to land punch after punch, blow after blow, wailing on Vegeta's body and face as hard as he could while backing up the attacks with his energy. And Vegeta took Gohan's assault without making a sound.

Goten and Trunks were on the edge of the cliff as they watched Gohan and Vegeta's fight. Neither boy could say anything because of how intense it was getting

While the taste of iron fell on the lips of Vegeta, the satisfaction of his handiwork couldn't help but elated him. While there was much work to be improved such as Gohan's discipline and his bleeding heart, the boy proved himself to be strong-willed enough to continue fighting no matter how strong the opponent was currently.

'Hmph! At least the best hadn't lost his nerve to battle. I'll have to give credit to the Namekian on that. Still, he has much to learn. Alright, I've had enough of this.'

Before Gohan could continue his rampage, Vegeta flexed his muscles and unleashed a massive kiai that he surrounded himself with, pushing Gohan ten feet away from him.

"Time to get serious!"

Just then, Vegeta tackled Gohan across the wasteland, ramming him through a few mountains. Gohan regained control of his momentum as he watched Vegeta rush at him with a hook, which Gohan managed to grab and counter with a well-placed jab into Vegeta's abdomen. Vegeta retaliated with a well-placed knee to Gohan's chin, then kicked Gohan away with another turning kick. At the same time, both men lunged at each other, planting their fists into each other's faces, causing a wind to kick up at the sheer force of the blows.

Both of them spun horizontally to the ground at the last attack but quickly recovered.

Vegeta, not at the least bit tired despite the few tears, cuts, and bloodstains, watched as Gohan, who's lost the top part of his gi and the undershirt and was covered in blood, dirt, and had holes and tears all over, stand up while panting with a bit of fatigue.

"I'm putting an end to this!" Vegeta said as he rocketed up to the air with his Super Saiyan Level Two ki rising, causing the clouds to stir.

"You think you can replace Kakarot, huh!? You think you could fill his shoes, boy!? Well then let's see if you can try and stop this!"

Vegeta outstretched his arms, beginning to generate energy that started to shake the earth that Gohan stood on, making both Goten and Trunks fumble around. A low growl from Vegeta was being drawn out along with his building power. All of that yellow-colored energy was condensed into a sparking ball of ki that discharged large bolts of electricity that tore through the ground beneath it.

"Waah! T-Trunks! W-W-What's happening!? What's your d-dad doing, now!?" Goten panicked, watching the shorter man covered in a golden light radiate a power he hadn't seen before.

Trunks simply said, "It's not good for him, I can tell you that! Gohan better either counter that or dodge it altogether if he doesn't want to get creamed!"

Seeing what Vegeta was doing, Gohan brought his right arm above his head, building up energy for a ki attack that was in the colors purple, red, and yellow. The condensed ball of ki sparked as it charged fiercely in Gohan's hand, similarly to the Kamehameha Wave.

When he finished the charge-up time, Vegeta said, "TAKE THIS ATTACK HEAD ON, OR GO BACK TO HOME TO YOUR FATHER IN HELL! FINAL FLASH!"

Gohan watched as Vegeta unleashed his strongest attack, sending a giant golden yellow energy wave at him with the intent to kill.

Gritting his teeth, Gohan reeled his right hand. Upon thrusting it forward to launch his own energy wave, Gohan shouted back, "MASENKO…! HAAA!"

Firing the multi-colored beam, Gohan and Vegeta found themselves caught in a beam struggle, similar to Vegeta's fight with Goku during the invasion against the Saiyans.

Much to Vegeta's shock, Gohan was pushing pretty hard in his stand against him. For a split second, the troll-haired Saiyan could have sworn he had his tail and armor back while struggling against Goku's x4 Kaiōken Kamehameha Wave with his Galick Gun. Impressed, Vegeta smirked.

'Well, what do you know? Even when pushed back into a corner, the brat is still fighting back. Like a true Saiyan warrior. Kakarot, you may not have been the ideal Saiyan in terms of our people's culture and identity, but perhaps there is hope for your son. I will see to it that he takes pride in his heritage.'

Goten and Trunks would have watched the light show, but they were busy holding on to the ground for dear life as it shook the earth beneath them and stirred up debris with high winds.

Vegeta's beam overtook Gohan's for a moment given that his power was higher, better developed, and more in control.

'No! I-I can't lose! Not to him, not to Vegeta! Come on! I have the power! I'm an Ascended Super Saiyan! I just have to let it out!' Gohan screamed at himself, tapping into the last bit of energy he had to continue through stalemate with a mighty shout and push of power.

Vegeta watched as Gohan's Masenko completely swallowed his Final Flash, hitting Vegeta with full force.

Goten and Trunks raised their head, peaking at the fight to see Gohan, now reverted back into his normal state, still in the pose that he was in when he fired the Masenko one-handed while red and black smoke was blowing in the air.

The younger boys gasped in shock.

"T-Trunks… Is Mr. Vegeta-?" Goten asked, not being able to sense ki as well as Trunks.

Immediately, Trunks shook his head, saying, "No, Dad's still alive. I can sense his energy."

Goten sighed in relief, thanking Dende that neither Gohan nor Vegeta perished from their bout.

"That's a relief."

Gohan panted as he relaxed his muscles, putting his arms down.

"T-There. I…I think…I aced…that test." Gohan said with a wearily smirk as he laughed.

"I wouldn't be so sure."

The teen then paused as he then detected an immediately familiar and alarming presence from behind him. Turning around, Gohan felt the wind being knocked out of him via a gut check from a level two Super Saiyan Vegeta.

Gohan was brought to his knees as he wheezed and coughed up blood.

"For your performance today, I'll give you a fifty out of one hundred," Vegeta said evenly. "Your battle capabilities, tactics, and techniques are superb for a brat who keeps up training from time to time. And you do have a decent drive as a warrior no doubt. In spite of those qualities, I cannot overlook your glaring weaknesses."

Vegeta then took Gohan by his hair as he picked him up to have the boy stare into the cold harsh dark eyes of the prince.

"You are soft and undisciplined! These are your main problems, boy! First and foremost, you let your opponents take advantage of that bleeding human heart you value so much! In the world we live in, there's no room for such a weakness! Sure, you let me survive. But all the times that I joined forces with you circus clowns were merely circumstantial and were for my own agenda. It took me seven years to truly come to terms with my integration into your society and adapt to my new environment and change of scenery. But Cooler? You let him play you like a fool! And your friend paid dearly with his life because of your failure!"

Gohan looked down with guilt written all over his face, aggravating Vegeta further.

"Fix that face before I fix it for you!" Vegeta barked, prompting Gohan to harden his expression as he looked directly at Vegeta again. "There's no time for self pity!"

"Secondly, you lack discipline! You think that with Super Saiyan Level Two, you can solve all of your problems by relying on purely rage alone! Here's a reality check, that doesn't work! You're only limiting yourself by using a transformation that you barely even use as a time bomb. Letting such basic assaults of the mind and heart get to you so easily, making it no effort to control and dictate your every move predictably! And to add insult to injury, you lose yourself while in its power because you refused to train in that form! All because-"

"-I killed my father in that transformation, Vegeta." Gohan said, cutting him off. "You know thi-Oof!"

Vegeta decked Gohan in his left cheek.

"Shut the fuck up with that depressed crap!" Screamed the prince. "You think that, while the fact of the matter is that Kakarot killed himself and chose to stay dead. You're the only person who believes that you killed him when it was his damn fault for not being more involved in your training in the past! We wouldn't be having this conversation if he put his foot down to that harpy you call a mother!"

Gohan gritted, "Hey, don't talk about her like that! My mother was only doing what's best for me so I could have a normal life!"

Vegeta laughed at Gohan yet again before saying, "Oh please! Normal was never associated with you, boy! You may be human but you're also a Saiyan! The blood of an ancient warrior race runs through your veins! There's no denying that side of you. You see this to be true as it is a part of who you are. No matter what delusions your harpy of a mother tries to convey to you, deep down, you know that you were never destined to live a normal life. The sooner you realize that brat, the better off you'll be."

Gohan was rendered speechless as the words of Vegeta left an impact on him profoundly.

'...He's right. I'm not normal. I can never be what Mom wants me to be.' Gohan whispered in his mind.

"My point, Gohan, is that you can never replace Kakarot." Vegeta said in conclusion. "You may be his son, but what he lacked in his cultural identity, he made up for in his drive. He strived to get stronger and sought power to break his limits. Every day, whether he wasn't sleeping and eating, that man trained. You, on the other hand, settled for what you achieved and allowed yourself to get comfortable. A true warrior never settles for what they have or less than that, but they look beyond what they know to reach further heights. That was the key to your father's strength. And that's what I've learned after my fight with the androids."

Vegeta had let go of Gohan's hair as he flexed his power with dominance in his voice, "If you can't beat me as I am or surpass me, then you're not worthy to succeed that clown or be my student!"

Gohan watched in awe at the amazing progression of the prince of all Saiyans. He knew that Vegeta VI had gone through a major shift in his character, but never did he think that it was in a profound matter like this. He had retained his honor, grit, and overall pride, but there was something different about him. He was more caring towards those of his kind.

Well, in the prince's own way of caring, of course.

Gohan merely accepted his defeat, knowing that he had failed his test.

Goten and Trunks watched the conclusion, with Goten honestly stumped at the result.

"Aw, what? No fair! Big brother lost!" The mini Goku pouted.

"See, what did I tell you!" Trunks said like there was no doubt. "Gohan's strong, but not stronger than my dad. Maybe if he wasn't such a bookworm and trained more, he'd stand a chance."

"Hey, being smart is just as great as being strong!" Goten argued. "I don't care what you say, Trunks! Gohan will always be cooler to me!"

Trunks shrugged, saying, "Whatever. He still lost. But at least the fight was amazing."

Goten bowed his head, nodding as he turned around to leave.

"Hey, where are you going?" Trunks asked.

"I have to go, Trunks. Mommy told me to head back and tell her everything before Gohan notices that I was here." Goten stated, jogging the lavender-haired boy's memory.

"Oh, that's right." Trunks said with a sympathetic gaze. "Hey, can you make it to my house later on? I got a pack of monster movies we can watch to cheer you up."

Goten's face turned bright with happiness as he said, "Yeah! I'd like that. Mommy said I could go anyways so I'll come by after I'm done talking to her."

"Okay, I'll see you there! Later, Goten!" Trunks waved.

"Bye, Trunks?" Goten waved before taking off while suppressing his ki.

Trunks also decided to leave, flying away from Goten's direction while also hiding his power to cover his and Goten's tracks.

Upon finishing his speech, Vegeta powered down to his base form before tossing Gohan a Senzu Bean from his pocket.

Taking it, Gohan ate and swallowed the bean, getting right back up. Vegeta turned away from the teen as he looked over his shoulder.

"You have great potential, boy. Greater than any warrior, even Kakarot." Vegeta stated genuinely. "That potential, however, is not a gift. It's a privilege, a tool to be used in the most capable hands. If you take that for granted, it could bite you in the ass someday. Power is only for the ones willing to use it. And use it correctly. Without hesitation. So, as your elder of the Saiyan race, I challenge you. Keep training, get stronger. Try to surpass me. Shatter your limits. Do it for yourself, and most importantly, for those you hold dear if you wish to protect this planet. And one day, we can have a rematch. I await your progress in the next assessment. When you take that large step will call yourself by that alias you're intrigued about so much. Until then, I'll be closely watching you, Kakabrat."

And like that, Vegeta blasted off into the air, heading back to Capsule Corp.

Gohan stood tall, reflecting on Vegeta's words for a moment as he looked at the ground the Saiyan had once stood on. His tail had been blowing along with the wind with his short spiky hair. Recognizing the points of the short man, Gohan sighed before taking off to his own home at a slow pace to take his time.

'...Well, that could have gone better. Leave it to Vegeta to literally beat some sense to me. I mean, it's like he hasn't thrashed me before, but it was like I was five all over again while we just came back from Namek. Oh well… At least things can't get worse from here.'

Son Residence, One Hour Later

"Son Gohan! You've got some explaining to do!" Screeched an angry Son Chi-Chi.

'And I stand corrected.' Gohan sarcastically stated in his mind.

Gohan sighed for the umpteenth time as now he was dealing with an irate mother who was just about ready to whip out the dreadful frying pan on him.

Normally, the mere thought of Chi-Chi's choice of disciplinary action would frighten the hybrid as it would with Goten and Goku back when he was alive. But given his humiliating loss to Vegeta and the parting words he left him, Gohan's overall attitude towards his mother's overly dramatic freak out was passed off as more of an annoyance than anything else.

Gohan sat on the couch of the living, watching his mother place her hands on her hips as she continued talking to her eldest son.

"I can't believe you would lie to me! I've taught you to be better than this!" Chi-Chi lectured. "Sneaking off to train with Goten is one thing that I let slide! But having a full-on fight with a thug like Vegeta!? Have you lost your mind!?"

"...Surprisingly, no," Gohan answered honestly. "Look, Mom, it's okay. I'm fine. I ate a Senzu Bean and everything–"

"Fine? You call being covered in cuts, bruises, and what looks to be third-degree burns fine!? Gohan, that man could have killed you!" Chi-Chi stressed.

Blinking, Gohan's eyes narrowed as he asked, "Wait a minute, how do you know about that? I never told anybody where I was going today."

"That's simple. Goten told me." Answered the daughter of the Ox-King off-handedly.

"What!? Aw, Goten…"

"Oh hush! I was bound to find out anyway! That's why I had him follow you to make sure that I knew." Huffed the former princess.

Feeling slightly taken aback by the truth, Gohan questioned, "You had Goten spy on me? Why the heck would you do that to me, Mom?"

"Because you don't tell me things, Gohan!" Chi-Chi shot back. "You never take the time to sit down and speak to your mother! It's important that we share things about our day! And this isn't about that, it's about you keeping secrets like this!"

"Okay, so I lied a little about what I was doing today. That's fair, and I apologize for trying to deceive you." Gohan apologized. "But all that I did today was train with Vegeta. It's no different from any time what I did as a kid with Dad and Master Piccolo."

"Oh, yes there is!" Chi-Chi said heatedly. "Piccolo by all means was a terrible being that had done many horrible things before you were born! But at least he redeemed himself by sacrificing his life to save you! He earned my trust and my respect for that! But Vegeta, that delinquent, has done nothing to show me that I can trust him! He is nothing but a rotten thug!"

"Mom, I know Vegeta's not the best person but you have to be fair to him! The guy's not like who he was seven years ago!" Gohan said in defense of Vegeta. "He's going through a change! He's in Trunks' life, he is hanging around Bulma more often, and he even stopped threatening the personnel. Vegeta's not too bad once you get to know him. Besides, I wouldn't have been able to stop Cell hadn't he intervened."

"I don't give a damn about your opinion! You're not training with that man anymore!" Chi-Chi said in a commanding tone. "Vegeta's a dirty brute and he's a bad influence on you and Goten! The only reason why even allow you and Goten to Bulma's house is that she's Goku-sa's friend, she's a decent person, and Bulma's usually there to curb Trunks' mischievous side!"

Gohan sighed, rubbing his temple from the antics his mother was displaying.

"Urgh! The nerve of that man! Who does he think he is, trying to teach my boy!? That man doesn't know the first thing about tutoring! I bet he hasn't even touched a single book while on Earth!" Chi-Chi ranted before spinning her head to her son. "What was he 'mentoring' you for? Hmm!?"

"W-Well, Vegeta was helping me learn about Saiyan stuff so I can write a book. You know, culture, their biology, their history–" Gohan tried explaining only for his mother to cut him off.

"WHAT!? Why would you want to learn about those monsters!? They were pure evil! And now you want to–" Chi-Chi screeched before shaking her head. "No! Out of the question! I did not bring you to this world and guided you all the way to this point of your life for you to waste it on garbage like this!"

'...Monster? …Garbage?' Gohan's mind repeated in dismay as he felt a part of his heart begin to throb in emotional pain.

"You should be studying! Working to get your high school diploma, get your Bachelors, Master's Degree, and Ph.D. throughout university so you can be a scholar, provide for your family, and live a normal life like a human! You don't have time for such things as Saiyan history! They are gone! Saiyans, I swear, no good has ever come from their kind."

While Gohan knew that his mother was only speaking out of frustration due to her caring for him and his well-being, he drew the line by the way she was degrading his Saiyan side for his human side. Anger surged through the boy, so much so that he felt the second level peaking through his restraint. The rage. He couldn't contain it for much longer. Gohan had to leave before he say or do something that he will regret

And he had to go, now.

Getting up, Gohan marched to walk away towards the front door with his back stiffly turned to her.

Seeing red, Chi-Chi immediately went after her son as she continued screaming at him.

"Gohan!? Gohan! Don't you dare walk away from me when I'm talking to you! Hey! Son Gohan, you come back this instant!" Chi-Chi commanded.

As he reached for the door, Chi-Chi forcefully grabbed a hold of his arm as she said, "I'm talking to you, young man! Where do you think you're going!?"

For a split second, Gohan's golden yellow irises appeared as he sent a nasty death glare toward the woman, startling her.

Gohan then hissed coldly, "...Away from you."

With that, Gohan took his prehensile tail and used to remove Chi-Chi's hand off of his arm, allowing him to exit the house, leaving a stunned mother speechless as he slammed the door on her face.

Deep In Mount Paozu, Thirty Minutes Later

"Ha!"

For the last thirty minutes, Gohan did nothing but fire Kamehameha Waves at random rock formations in his home region. While he did not wish to disrupt the delicate ecosystem of his home, the anger that he had for his mother compelled him to hit something. He needed an outlet, anything to vent the frustration he carried on his person.

Hence, why exactly fifteen small mountains were now gone. But, he's not worried. He could gather the Dragon Balls and wish them all back if he needed to.

Gohan panted as he finished firing his last blast before sitting down on a small wooden log as he stared at the lush green grass that was under his feet. His thoughts still drifted from Vegeta's critiques to Chi-Chi's rants. Mostly, the words that came out of his own mother's mouth.

Saiyans, I swear, no good has ever come from their kind.

"...I never asked for this," Gohan muttered in a somber tone. "I never asked to be born with alien blood. I never asked to fight insane space folk and miss much of my childhood and innocence. I never asked for any of this. Even so, I have Saiyan blood, nonetheless. It's a part of my DNA. It's a piece of me, her son. It's also in Goten, too."

Looking up at the clear blue sky, he asked, "Why can't Mom just try to understand that? It's like she's rejected the ability to fathom the world that we live in. I know that she's from a simpler time, but surely Mom would get by now that things aren't what they were before I was born. I thought Dad being Dad would have convinced her that anybody could change if given the chance. That there could be good Saiyans. Saiyans like Goten and me, her own kids. Why can't she see what I see?"

"Because ordinary mortals are ignorant sheep." A composed yet young voice said from behind him. "Easily led astray, quick to judge without context, and demonize what is beyond their comprehension."

Gohan turned to see Shin and Kibito stand behind him.

Gohan instantly stood up, taking a defensive stance while gauging the potential enemies' power, only to find that he could not detect any ki outside of a powerful presence coming from the both of them.

"Start talking!" Gohan demanded. "Why can't I sense your energies? Are the two of you supposed to be new androids?"

Sensing hostility, Kibito raised his hand in a diplomatic manner with his deep voice, saying, "Peace, young man. We do not seek to cause conflict."

Snarling while his eyes gleamed with golden yellow irises, Gohan said, "Yeah, likely story! You two picked a bad time to sneak up on me. Now, one of you better tell me the truth before I-"

(Is that any way to treat a helping hand, friend?)

Instantly recognizing the voice from before, Gohan shifted his direction to the shorter man, Shin.

"It's you! You're the presence that I sensed. You helped me during my fight with Cooler!" Gohan stated in shock. "...You saved my life."

Shin nodded stating, "Yes, I did."

"I do not mean to sound rude again, but why did you do that?" Gohan questioned.

"Do not think much of my actions, young one. I simply saw an opportunity to be of assistance and seized it. And I must say, the results were fruitful. Even now, you show your true potential in your eyes as we speak." The shorter being stated in a content manner.

"Yes, it was, Lord Shin." Kibito agreed as he turned in Gohan's direction, "For a mortal, your power is quite a phenomenon to behold."

"Mortal? Assistance? My power?" Gohan echoed back before shaking his head. "Excuse me, but I'm just confused now. What do you want with me? And who are you guys, anyway?"

As Shin walked over to Gohan with his right arm outstretched for a handshake, Kibito gestured Gohan to meet him halfway by pointing to his superior with his right arm turned for his palm to face upwards.

"Son Gohan, my name is Kibito. I am one of the Shinjin, or Core People. I serve as the attendant under Lord Shin." Kibito said, causing Gohan to look at the smiling man. "And Lord Shin, here, is one of the Gods of Creation, the Sōzōshin. However, you may be more familiar with his other title; the Supreme Kai."

Author's Note: What's good! It's your boy, DSG451 and I'm back with the next part!

Let me clear some things up for those who are confused.

The filler episode from Dragon Ball where Goku and Chi-Chi met Annin and Grandpa Gohan did not happen.

Guys, this is an alternate universe. A different timeline. Subtle differences, folks. When Gohan stated that he didn't see Goku for twenty-five years, that means that the last time that they saw each other was in the Uranai Baba Saga where Grandpa Gohan was the last fighter that Goku had to face himself.

Vegeta is stronger than Gohan, which is why he lost.

I feel that I don't need to explain much given that Vegeta had already explained himself. But, for those who want to read it from my text, Gohan may have kept up with his training for seven years but he still does not enjoy fighting nor does train all the time. Vegeta is a full-blooded Saiyan who has that perfect instinct for battle. Needless to say, it was only a matter of time before he caught up to Gohan and surpassed him. Ergo, he has Super Saiyan Level Two and he mastered it thanks to his ability to fully take a hold of his wild Saiyan instincts, unlike Gohan, who is currently struggling with it.

Chi-Chi does NOT hate Saiyans.

While Chi-Chi has her reasonable gripes with Saiyans, she doesn't exactly hate Saiyans. I depicted her much nastier out of Chi-Chi having the need to overreact given that her husband is dead, both of her children got involved with a dangerous robot-alien invasion, and now Gohan was hiding the fact that the same man who was allied with the brother of the man who kidnapped her son was teaching him without her permission on how to potential act in the ways of a savagely evil race. Granted, that didn't give her an excuse to be super harsh, but it's important to understand her perspective and know that she's not so bright since she's just as much an ignorant hick from the mountains as Goku. She's just smarter than him when it comes to basic life skills and the necessity to survive in the Earthling world.

She's got problems, but she loves her kids and husband.

Anyways, let me know what you guys think of this chapter. What's your favorite moment? Who are your favorite characters? What's great about this chapter? What's the weakest part of the chapter? Please feel free to ask me questions? Comment, and voice your concerns. Just make sure that it's constructive feedback.

Well, I have to go. See you guys next time!
