Levy and Lucy were giddy with excitement.

Today was the day Magnolia's book shop was being visited by their favourite author of all time – P. Starman! The thought of meeting any of her literacy heroes made Lucy drool but Levy?

Levy was a whole new level of excitement.

"Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!" she squealed shrilly as she bounced on her feet. "P Starman, Lu-Chan! The P. Starman! The writer who can write anything and make it sound like a whole new story. The writer that can make me cry, laugh, and sigh blissfully all with one page of beautiful prose. Oh Lu-Chan! I can't wait! Can you?!"

"No!" Lucy admitted brightly. "I can't wait to meet him! I want to ask where he takes his inspiration from. I mean did you read that one with the Dragon Hunter and the Star Maiden?! I feel like I read it somewhere before but it was so new and amazing!"

"I know, right?!" Levy squealed. Her eyes twinkling brightly as she clasped her hands beneath her chin. "And the one about the Snow Boy and the Mermaid? I've never got so irritated with a character and yet want them to succeed at the same time so badly before!" Levy clutched Lucy's hands into hers and pulled her close. "Psst!" she hissed with a giggle. "Lu-Chan, can I let you in on a little secret?!"

"Of course, Levy-Chan!" Lucy replied cheerfully. "I'm your best friend. You can tell me anything!"

"I think I have a little crush on P. Starman!" Levy whisper-shouted. "I don't care what he looks like, or if it turns out he is a she, or how old they are, or anything! With writing talent like that I'm willing to cheat on Gajeel with him or her – but don't tell anyone that!"

"Don't worry Levy-Chan," Lucy said reassuringly, "I wouldn't want P. Starman to suddenly end up in hospital due to a suspicious beating with something hard and heavy. I need him or her to finish his or her next book so I can finally find out what happens between the Scarlet Warrior and her estranged lover."

Levy opened her mouth – most likely to instantly fangirl over the last book by P Starman –when the shop clerk suddenly bellowed; "NEXT!" drowning out Levy completely as she snapped her mouth shut and rushed forwards, dragging Lucy by the wrist.

"Oh my God!" Levy shrieked. "P. Starman I'm such a big fa – EH?!"

Lucy stumbled over her own feet and staggered slightly as she tried to regain her footing. This had caused her long, blonde, ponytail to cover her eyes and she had to hastily flip it over her shoulder to clear her view. When she did her eyes landed on the mysterious, talented, P. Starman and her mouth dropped wide open.

P. Starman was nothing like how she imagined (a wise, elderly, man with great talent) and was in fact not human at all with his long, carroty, nose, tiny white plump body, and big, loving, dark eyes. There was no doubt at all that her favourite, all time, writer was in fact-

"PLUE?!"

Plue stood up onto his chair and waved excitedly at Lucy. "Plue! Plue!" he cried out cheerfully. "Plue! Plue!"

Levy stared at Plue completely stupefied and a bubble of hysterical laughter escaped Lucy's lips at the sight of it all.

"You know," Lucy teased, "if you still want to, I can set you up with Plue."

"….shut up, Lu-Chan!"
