(Leviathan Class Battleship Revenge)

Meetra, Bastila and everyone other force user in the force stopped what they were doing as suddenly the force was awash with a darkness that chilled them to the bone, it was as if the force had been drowned in darkness. Meetra knew instantly this had to be coming from Korriban, which meant that Revan and the others were possibly in trouble. But there was nothing they could do about it as they had been ordered to stay here, whatever was going on she had to have faith Revan would be able to deal with it. Still, it was one of the most awful sensations she had felt from the force since the battle of Malachor, still it seemed her connection to the force was getting stronger and stronger and for that she was grateful. Bastila had paled as she felt the sensation wash over her, it was a truly horrible feeling and that it was coming from the force was disturbing beyond measure. She hoped whatever was happening Revan and his team were up to handling it, as like Meetra she knew exactly where the surge had come from.

Elsewhere on the ship Vash and Vima stumbled as they had been heading to the mess desk when the force storm had hit them, they both shuddered as the darkness in the force rolled over them. They did not understand where it was coming from or what had caused it but they both knew something big had happened, and whatever it was they just prayed to the force it did not bode ill for the Republic or the Jedi.

Malak was reading through the latest intelligence reports when suddenly the force lashed out as a wave of darkness washed through not only him but everyone other force user on his ship, he could see some of his crew collapse as they were unable to process the sudden violent upsurge in the force. It was unlike anything he had felt before and considering he had been one of the spies who had gone near the Sith Emperor's palace that was saying something, something big had happened but he was not certain as to where it had happened at least not yet. He threw down the reports he had been reading and stormed to the front of his ship with a dark glare on his face, Admiral Karath was looking around him in shock but quickly moved to look alert as he noted his approach.

"I want a full status report from all outposts, planets and ships in the next hour" he commanded darkly. "I don't care what they are doing but I want them to check in, something has happened to send the force into a frenzy, and we need to know what and where it has happened especially if has happened in our territory" he added before he turned and stalked away not seeing Karath let out a breath of relief that he was not suddenly about to die for some reason. He pulled the collar of his uniform out before flexing his neck, he then turned to carry out his orders.

(Trayus Academy, Malachor V)

Kreia instantly felt the storm in the force as it washed through her and she noticed both Sion and Nihilus also react as did many of the other force users at the academy, clearly every force user no matter their affiliation was sensing this. Something major had happened and from what she was sensing from her almost broken bond with Revan this was coming from Korriban, he was behind this but in what way she could not tell.

"Master something is very wrong" Sion grunted as he and Nihilus joined her at the front of the training hall where they all been watching the training of their soldiers for the war that was to come and they knew it would come in time no matter who was leading them.

"Indeed, Sion and from what I felt this is coming from Korriban" Kreia responded deciding to try and keep some control over her two subordinates by giving them some information instead of keeping it to herself. "A major shift in the war between Revan and Malak has begun" she told them.

"Who is behind this then Master, Revan or Malak?" Sion demanded to know.

"Malak would not do anything that would risk their academy on Korriban, no this has to be from Revan" Kreia answered clicking her finger on her throne. "He has made a major strike against Malak and his followers" she stated with a cold brittle smile.

"Should we not interfere then Master and put a stop to Revan before he can bring Malak down as he is a fellow Sith?" Sion inquired knowing Kreia had already refused this option before but deciding to push it again now something had happened.

"My Master agrees with Lord Sion's suggestion" Visas stated after her master had made several noises the other two did not understand.

"You both forget Malak is no ally and he is no real Sith, he is a beast lost in his own lusts and would gladly slay each of us when we least expected it and his followers are even worse" Kreia responded darkly glaring at Sion and then Nihilus in turn even if the affect on Nihilus was somewhat limited due to what he now was. "They would not follow us as a combined force and would gladly slay their superiors which is why their war against the Republic has stalled long enough for Revan and his remaining forces to re-enter the war and stop them" she pointed out to them both. "No, we will allow them to be removed from the board before we take action as that is the better path to our own rise to power, they will be weakened by the end of their war no matter who wins and then we can move before they can recover and destroy them and then finish off the already weakened Republic" she concluded.

Sion saw the wisdom in his master's words and went a long way to allying his fears as to her motives of late but, was she speaking truth or was she just saying what they wanted to hear. He could not tell and that irritated him, Malak could not be trusted and more than likely if they did try and ally with him, he would try and dominate them and put himself above them and that was not something he would ever agree to. He glanced at Nihilus and noted he had already bowed to Kreia in agreement; thus, this discussion was over for the moment. But he knew if Kreia failed to carry out her plan once the war between Malak and Revan was over, then he knew both he and Nihilus would deal with their master and kill her. He bowed and turned and walked away as did Nihilus and Visas, this left Kreia to her own thoughts knowing the clock to the end was now ticking.

(Telos, hidden Academy)

Atris's eyes snapped open as she felt the violent darkness in the force, where before she would have been alarmed or fearful of such a disturbance in the force now, she just smiled thinly wondering who had caused the disturbance and where it had originated from. If she had to guess it had come from either Revan in his mad quest for revenge or Malak attempting to kill Revan, she wondered if her former Jedi colleagues were already regretting their choice to turn on her and her leadership which would have saved them from the madness of Revan's dark influence.

Outside her sanctuary Brianna shivered as she felt something was wrong, so very wrong but she would not tell where this sense of wrongness was coming from nor why she was the only one out of her sisters to be feeling it. She glanced at them and noted they all fine and were carrying out their duties as normal, she had stumbled and almost thrown up by what she had felt. Whatever it was it set her apart from her sisters, and that unnerved her as her sisters were not kind to her when she deviated from the norm which she had done many times before and been punished for it.

(Jedi Temple)

The council had just finished somewhat settling the various calls they'd had from various Jedi in the fields plus their remaining training academy's which had not been attacked yet, the storm in the force had shaken everyone one of them and they would guess even the Sith had felt the storm of darkness. The thing was they did not know who was behind the storm or where it had come from, it was a mystery for now but hopefully it had not been caused by their enemies which seemed to be many.

"Something has gone very wrong somewhere" Yarrik muttered aloud.

"Yes, I think we can all agree on that but what has gone wrong and where did it go wrong and finally for who did it go wrong" Zirrik agreed with a nod of his head.

"I have never felt such a darkness in the force before" Zhar stated before he paused and rethought that statement. "No, I am wrong I have felt something like it but on Cathar when we discovered the near massacre of the Cathar species there" he said darkly making many of the other council members shiver as they recalled that dark day.

"Yes, very much like that is this storm but worst and stronger" Vandar stated with his eyes closed as he focused on what he was feeling from the force. "This darkness comes from a source beyond Sith or Jedi, beyond the mortal vail" he concluded.

"Are you suggesting this storm has come from within the force itself from the never realm of the force?" Kane inquired leaning forward with interest.

"From the never realm did this storm come, ancient power I sense" Vandar answered as he opened his eyes and looked around at his fellow council members. "Ancient power of the dark side, on Korriban believe I do this darkness has risen" he added.

"So perhaps it is something Malak has done to increase his power?" Kavar suggested.

"Or perhaps it was Revan doing something to inflict damage to Malak's grip of power" Krom spoke up scratching his chin in thought. "We all know he can touch the darkness and seem to be unaffected so perhaps it is him behind this, an attack on Malak's seat of power" he explained as they all turned to look at him.

"Perhaps, but whatever is the answer this storm has caused a massive shockwave in the force I believe has been felt by all who can touch it" Zirrik concluded as he listened to the all the suggestions before speaking up. "Dangerous to invoke any such power from the never realm of the force, no matter who is behind it this could have dangerous repercussions for us all in time" he told them all. "Keep our eyes open we will" he stated to which the others all nodded in agreement.

(Korriban)

Carth felt like he was in a nightmare as he tried to ignore the screams of the dying as they tried to run through the academy without too much trouble, but the images of seeing various people been ripped to pieces by visible spirits in showers of blood kept flashing through his brain. His blasters felt hot to the touch as he focused on shooting anyone who got in his way, trying not to think about how he was adding to the death toll. He could see several students been lifted into the air and shaking as the spirits of the long dead Sith shot lightning at them making them scream in agony before they were blasted flying to land on the ground broken and scorched.

It was like he was stuck in a nightmare he decided as he paused only slightly as shot another Sith as he charged towards him with his lightsaber drawn, he had to wonder as the man fell dead why he and any of the other Sith trying to stop and kill them wasn't running for their lives like any smart man would. He began running again quickly catching up with Revan and the others as they neared the entrance that would lead out onto the sands of Korriban and straight to the trade and landing station where their ship was docked, he almost groaned as he noted Wynn and several Sith guarding it blocking their exit.

"You will not be leaving Revan; you will die here with everyone else if my dream of becoming dark lord is to be denied me" Wynn spat with fatalistic tone.

Carth realised Wynn knew he was going to die here, and it was clear he wanted to take them all with him, that would not do, and he quickly raised his blasters ready to fight. He wondered why the Sith spirits hadn't attacked them yet, he wondered if they were watching and judging them still like they had said to Revan before about-facing trials here on Korriban about been able to survive. Revan stepped forward growling low in his throat as he knew they did not have time for this, the spirits of the ancient Sith would only stay away for so long.

Closing his eyes for a few seconds he focused on the dark side as much as he could risk without risking falling into its seductive grip, opening his eyes he lashed his hands up and unleashed torrents of force lightning in one and a force wave with the other. Using both force powers at the same time was draining but he had to do this fast, Wynn screamed along side his two closest acolytes as the force lightning burned into their bodies making them shake wildly. Two others were flung backwards with such force their heads struck the entrance door with such force blood could be seen from the impact sights as the bodies dropped down, the last two Sith went to charge but Carth and HK were quicker of the draw and shot them multiple times in the head.

"Go" Revan shouted as Wynn collapsed to the floor as he stopped his force attack, even as they ran for the entrance Wynn was pushing himself back to his feet and managed to somehow activate his lightsaber and launch a sloppy swing at Revan as he neared.

Revan did not do anything more than duck the swing and then shoulder tackle Wynn out of his way shoving him backwards into the wall near the entrance, Wynn collapsed again but again pushed himself up to follow only to be surrounded by the ancient Sith spirits as Revan exited the academy seconds after the rest of his team. They all heard Wynn's screams echo through the air as the spirits drained him of his force potential before sucking the very life out of his body, which shrunk inwards as it happened and quickly lost all fat and muscle he'd once had. His eyes turned milky white as he continued to scream as he felt himself dying in the worst way he could have imagined, finally his body seemed to just collapse into itself as he let out a last gasp before finally expiring.

As soon as Schaefer saw the first of the team begin to exit the academy, he gave the order for the rest of his team now whole again as the small team sent to cover the valley had returned to prepare to open fire with their mortars first and then follow that up with the laser cannons. Everyone tensed as the rest of the party followed with the general in the back of the group, but all noticed how they were running instead of walking, he quickly gave the signal as several Sith exited hot on their heels and he watched through his googles and smirked as he watched three of the Sith be turned into chunks of gore and body parts as the shells hit spot on. Billy frowned as he felt the force all but scream of danger closing in on them, he opened fire with the laser cannon and cut two of the other Sith all but in half with very acuate shots whilst the last two also got took out by more mortar shells.

"Major, we have to leave and now" he shouted.

"What is it, Billy?" he said as he turned to face his subordinate and friend.

"The danger I warned you about is about to pour out of the academy and it will kill anything it reaches; we have to go" Billy answered tightly.

"But the General still needs cover" Hicks shouted as reloaded the mortar.

"No, he doesn't look" Apone argued and pointed down where they could see the general and his team close in on the trade and landing outpost. "The team are almost there and no one else has come out of the academy" he pointed out to them.

"Sir, it's coming" Billy insisted his face tight and his tone grim making Schaefer feel a sense of unease not something he usually felt.

"Alright pack it up and move" Schaefer finally relented and moved to run as well, he glanced back at the academy and his eyes widened as he saw ghostly figures pour out of the academy after two more Sith who were blindly trying to get away. He watched as they were caught and picked up by the ghostly images, he and his team heard their blood curling screams as whatever the spirits did to them killed them. "Move, move" he commanded as he turned to his men as he realised what danger Bill had been talking about.

The group ran carry what they could but leaving behind the laser cannons as they were too cumbersome to run with, Schaefer grabbed his radio and decided to warn Shepard and her own team of what was fast approaching. He could already see fire raining down on the exit of the trade post, so he guessed Revan and his team had reached the post and had met resistance in getting inside. He just hoped he and his team could reach the ship before the spirits reached them, finally Shepard answered, and he quickly began to relay what was coming.

+TR+

Shepard's eyes widened as she heard what Schaefer was shouting into the comm, she wanted to deny it, but she knew things like Sith Spirits existed on Korriban and even the Jedi had the ability to survive in the force after death. They would have to be quick, Revan and his group were been barred from the door leading into the trade and landing port by a large group of Sith who must have been warned about what was going on in the academy by comms, they had to be taken out before Revan and his team could make good their escape.

"Pour on the fire, we have to get ready to run as there is a storm coming and we don't want to be here when it hits and nor does the General" she shouted to her team.

"A storm?" Miranda inquired as she focused fire down at the Sith who kept popping out of cover to fire at Revan and his party who had managed to take cover behind some crates.

"The ancient Sith spirits have risen and are killing everything living on this planet" Shepard told her.

"Holy" Javik muttered as he had read plenty of documents detailing the legends and ancient stories of what the ancient spirits could do to a living person.

Thane Walker and Ashley Thompson both tough soldiers who had stuck with her through thick and thin and were loyal beyond approach to Revan just grimaced, they then began to advance the mortars they were firing closing to the edge of the cliff they were on overlooking the trade and landing outpost making themselves more of a target but clearly not caring. They opened fire again and quickly moved to help reload, the shells struck true and sent three of the Sith flying in bloody chunks as they were ripped apart. Javik and Tali Nov'ar moved forward as well with the blaster cannons and reigned fire down on the Sith in cover, gutting two of them as they popped up to try and shoot Revan as he moved forward towards a closer crate. Shepard herself inched forward side by side with Miranda and took aim with their sniper rifles, breathing calmly they waited as they lined up their sights with their targets and fired.

Down below two of the Sith's heads were all but blow apart and turned into red gooey paste. the remaining Sith began to charge forward hoping by getting closer to their targets whoever was shooting them from above would falter in their fire for fear of hitting their clear allies. Thane and Ashley managed to land two more actuate shells that blew apart another Sith into a bloody mess, whilst another was cut in half for fire from Javik and Tali and two more went down with their heads exploding in a shower of blood and brains before Revan and his team met the survivors as they moved to meet them. Shepard cursed knowing there was little else they could do now, she stood and looked out to the valley and could just make out a glowing light approaching them all.

"Gather what you can carry and run with leaving the rest, we are leaving now" she ordered sharply.

"What about the General?" Ashley asked as she moved to comply.

"He and the others can easily overcome what is left of the Sith down there and then they will have a clear run to the ship, we can't do anymore to help" Shepard answered with a shake of her head. "We follow our orders Ash, and they are we are getting off this damn planet once we have cleared the way for the General and his team and you know that" she added glancing at each of her team as she did so. "So, move it" she ordered.

The group reluctantly nodded and moved to comply, they moved fast and soon were already moving out towards their ship. Shepard paused as she looked back down to see Revan easily cutting Sith down as he moved towards the entrance of the trade post, she hoped she had made the right call but she confidence in her General to make it to his ship and get off this accused planet. She again looked to the glowing light of the spirits closing in on them and quickly turned and began running after her team, she had no desire to see what the spirits would do to her, her team or anyone else unlucky to be caught by them.

Revan ducked the wild swing of the next Sith to attack and he spun faster that ever with a little help from the force to cut the man in half, he jumped past the two halves as they collapsed in a bloody heap. He instantly hit the blade of another Sith as Carth and HK worked together to shoot three more Sith with quick shots aimed to their heads as they swung their blades backwards to strike at them, they dropped dead as Rikka, Niks and Melkor confronted the last four Sith blocking wild swings as the Sith tried to kill them. Revan growled as the Sith he was facing proved to be stronger than he had anticipated, he was forced backwards for a second before he decided to go all out instead of holding back, he ducked and dodged sideways and swiped his lightsaber out and cutting right through the Sith's right leg before the Sith realised what he was doing.

The man fell screaming in agony as he was left crippled and unable to help his comrades, Revan rushed forward and jumped over Rikka and cut her opponent's head right off in a shower of blood before landing. He raised his hands and unleashed a powerful blast of force wind to send the three other Sith flying backwards, glancing back he could see the Sith spirits were gaining on them.

"Move now" he snapped as he rushed to the entrance and swung it open allowing the others to run inside the trade and landing outpost.

(Cruiser Pride of Mandalore)

Canderous jumped backwards as his new challenger Jeyla Zaitt rushed towards him with two swords leading the charge, her raised his own blade and prepared to meet the strikes which came quickly. Catching both his opponents' blades with his own he pushed her backwards and swung wildly to her side, Jeyla managed to dodge sideways and backed off as she contemplated the man she had expected to beat easily. She had come to challenge for the right to be Mandalore, believing her youth and skill would easily overcome the older veteran's experience but it seemed Canderous Ordo was still very capable either with a blade or a blaster. She knew he had already beaten several challengers before she had arrived with a small group of followers, her skills were good, but she was no longer convinced they could outmatch Ordo. She did not want to die, was not ready to die and thus she flung her blade away and knelt before Canderous and raised her fist to her chest in a salute.

"Older you maybe Canderous Ordo but you are far more skilful than I had expected and thus I yield to you as true Mandalore" Jeyla said before bowing her head knowing her life balanced on a single choice by Canderous to let her live or to kill her.

Canderous walked forward and placed his blade near her neck and contemplated his youthful opponent, he studied her body language and found to his surprise she was been sincere in her submission. Deciding not to waste her potential, he patted the blade on her shoulder yes, she would live as he needed skilful warriors to make their people strong again and Jeyla was that.

"I accept your submission Jeyla Zaitt and accept you and your followers into my ranks" he finally said before walking away. "I need strong warriors for what is to come, you may be young, but your skills are not in doubt" he mused as he sat back in the command chair, he was using for now. "I hope your followers are just as good?" he inquired.

"They are some of the best warriors you'll find Mandalore" Jeyla insisted in answer as her followers moved up behind her

"Good, get yourself and them ready for soon we'll be going back to war" Canderous ordered and watched as the young woman and her followers moved to comply.

"Do you trust her?" Sarine inquired from close behind him.

"She was sincere Sarine; I could tell from her body language" Canderous assured her as he drank from bottle of water. "Not only that she wasn't ready to die, she thought she'd beat me easily due to me been older than her, but she was wrong, and she knew my experience was greater than her own and she could not win" he added with a smirk.

"Do you expect many more challengers?" Jagga asked.

"One or two maybe but not much more than that" Canderous responded. "Soon our fleet will be complete, and we can join the Revanchists in the war to come, we'll regain not only our honour but our home world and our legacy" he stated. "The legacy Cassius Fett and his ilk sullied" he spat a view shared by all those who could hear him.

(Korriban)

Carth ran as hard as he could and tried not to look out of place, but thankfully the few Sith in the corridors were drunk and trying to hit on the few women or men they wished that were also in the corridor with them. He tried to push out of his head what hellish torment that was about to descend on them, they were the enemy he had to repeatedly tell himself and would happily murder him, his son, his friends, and anyone else they could and what was coming for them was karma. They deserved their fate he told himself, and yet his stomach rolled as flashes of what he had seen done to the Sith in the academy by the ancient Sith spirits went through his mind. As they turned a corner to head up towards the landing pads, they began to hear screams coming from behind them, he shivered slightly as he realised how close the Sith spirits were behind them.

He slid to a stop as they hit a section of corridor with several doors connected to it, thankfully they had marked out with door Dustil was behind. Behind them Sith and various others ran screaming as they were swarmed by the Sith spirits, some were sucked dry of their very life force, their bodies decaying and their eyes turning white as it happened. Others were picked up and twisted by force lightning and their burnt husks fell to the floor locked forever in horrible visages of terror, the screams of the dying echoed all through the outpost whilst inside the bar it was nothing but a silent graveyard of the dead.

Carth opened the door, he grabbed his son and was thankful he was still unconscious from HK's stun blast and quickly shifted him onto his shoulder before running after the others, Revan who had paused to watch Carth's back as he retrieved his son unleashed a blast of force wind sending several Sith flying backwards. Before they could recover the Sith spirits were upon them, like those who had already been killed three of them had their life force sucked out of them violently making them scream in utter terror. Never had they imagined such a horrible fate, their bodies shrunk inwards, and their eyes turned milky white like the others before they collapsed dead as their bodies seemed to implode slightly. The others were picked up and struck by multiple force lighting strikes turning their bodies into smoking husks, when they dropped to the ground dead their bodies had turned black from the power of the lightning.

Revan led his group towards the landing pad where their ship was docked, they were joined at the same instant they entered the pad by Yuthara and three others who looked pleased with themselves by also unnerved by what they were seeing.

(Shuttle)

"Get on the ship fast" Revan shouted having already ordered Jarrik to lower the ramp.

One after another they ran up the ramp and into the ship, Carth and Revan paused near the top and looked back to see more people running towards them screaming for help. Revan shook his head and hit the button to close the ramp, the death cries of the people they had seen followed them as the ship began to lift off. Carth blocked out the sounds as best he could as he put his son down, he dropped against the bulkhead trying to digest what he had just witnessed.

"Get us out of here fast Jarrik, the spirits can still reach us until we clear the atmosphere and hit space" Revan ordered over the ships comm.

"Already in the upper atmosphere General, we'll hit space in five minutes" Jarrik responded sounding calm even knowing the lives of everyone on the ship depended on him getting them clear of the planet.

"Any word from Shepard and Schaefer?" Revan inquired.

"They have following us off to the port side, only a few seconds behind us" Jarrik answered.

Revan closed his eyes in relief that they had followed his orders and gotten back to their ship as fast as possible, he did not want to lose any more good people if he could avoid it. He had lost too many as it was, and whilst he knew it was inevitable that he would lose more as their crusade continued, he wanted to avoid losses where they were avoidable like here.

"Order them to follow us to the nearest inhabited planet Jarrik, we'll be making a stopover before we head home to the fleet" he ordered before he moved to the room where HK was keeping their prisoner.

"Understood General, relaying orders now" Jarrik said even as he moved away.

He entered the room and focused on pulling all the dark side energy he could as walked towards the whimpering assassin, smirking coldly he put his hand on the man's head and call on the power of mind crush. It was one of the darkest of dark side powers and he did not use it lightly, he would have to meditate and realign his force aura quite a bit after this was over. The assassin jerked wildly but could not escape as he was strapped to the bed he was on, he tried to fight the power washing over him, but he was no match for the power of Revan, and he began scream into his gag as he felt his mind begin to die or at least that was what it felt like to him. He tried to plead for mercy, but he could barely make a sound, his eyes fluttered wildly as his irises began to dim as the power worked its insidious magic on him. Minutes later and he went stiff as the last piece of his identity died, leaving him a blank shell, living but for all intense and purposes a dead empty shell.

He closed his eyes again for a few minutes as he refocused on what he wanted to do mould the shell into, then he put his hand back on the man's head and began to shape the mind into been an obedient follower who would carry out his will no matter what he required of him. This process took almost twenty minutes, ensuring there was no way for the previous personality could reassert itself once he had sent him off on his mission, stepping away he nodded in satisfaction and left HK to continued to guard the shell as it absorbed its new personality.

"I've seen some horrible things in my time in the military but what you unleashed on Korriban was beyond horrible" Carth said having come up behind him.

Letting out a sigh, he turned to face the man he did somewhat consider a friend. "It was the best way to get off Korriban as quickly as possible without having to try fighting our way through them all, plus denying Malak and his followers Korriban will gain us a great advantage" he explained. "It will be a big blow to Malak's image and power, a Sith Lord unable to hold the capital of his empire" he stated with a cold smirk. "He will start to see challengers to his power, whilst he is distracted, we and the Republic can continue to grow stronger and ready ourselves to attack" he pointed out that his way helped the Republic as much as it helped his own side. "I want him off balance and not thinking straight Carth, the angrier he gets the worse his decisions will get" he stated confidently.

"But what if Malak is killed and replaced by someone more competent?" Carth couldn't help asking.

Revan considered the question seriously for a few minutes as it was a possibility but, in his mind, a slim one. "There is only a slim chance someone could kill Malak and replace; of that I am certain" he finally answered. "The majority of his followers are hardly the best of my former fleet when it was intact" he mused. "And considering how long they have been fighting, I would guess most of his best fighters are already dead if they have not already challenged him for the role of dark lord" he added.

"But it is possible, isn't it?" Carth persisted.

"Anything is possible Carth, you know that better than most" Revan responded with a smile. "Still, I am confident even insane with anger, Malak will retain control of his forces until we confront him" he told him. "You realise Carth once we are back at my fleet your son will have to be placed under supervision like Major Shepard and her team were when we brought them back to the fleet, just until we can be certain he has not fallen in any way to the dark side" he informed him knowing this was going to be a sensitive topic.

Carth jerked somewhat at this but forced himself not to overreact, his son had been on Korriban for some time since the attack on Telos and worse than that he had a slight force connection. It was possible even though he fought the idea as much as possible that his son might have turned, he let out a deep sigh before nodding his head in understanding.

"Yeah, I understand Revan" he said. "Just as long as I have your word he won't be harmed in anyway even if there is some kind of taint" he added quickly.

"You have my word Carth and even if he has fallen somewhat, he can be brought back" Revan assured him. "Unlike what the Jedi teach, you can come back from the dark side even if you have been fully corrupted" he stated as he headed to his bunk to rest whilst he could until the hit the next planet.

Carth watched him go hoping his son would turn out to still to be on the light side of the force, that his soul was still pure. Running a tired hand through his hair he turned and headed back to watch over his son.

(Leviathan)

Admiral Karath took a deep breath before he stood behind the dark lord's, he knew the news he was about to deliver was not sounding good and could lead to his death considering the setbacks that had happened since it had been revealed Revan and some of his people still lived. Still the news needed to be delivered and it was his duty to do it.

"You have news Admiral Karath" Malak finally asked having sensed his presence several minutes ago but kept silent to keep the man on edge.

"Yes, my lord, all outposts and planets bar Korriban had sent in their status reports" Karath reported nervously. "We can not raise the academy or the trade outpost, all we get is static" he stated.

Malak turned slowly his eyes narrowed and flashing dangerously as he considered the news, was Bandon up to something and the reason behind the planet going dark. Any other planet he would not be too concerned about, but Korriban was the ancient home world of the Sith and was a symbol of his empire. It could not be lost under any circumstances, to do so would send up a sign for many to see him as incapable of been the true dark lord of the Sith if he could not hold Korriban.

"Send the nearest ship to Korriban and establish contact, if no answer is forthcoming, they are ordered to land and find the reason for the loss of contact with my authority" he ordered.

Just as he finished speaking one of the nearby Sith pulled his lightsaber and charged him from behind, thinking to take him unawares whilst he was distracted speaking. Malak spun around and slashed his already ignited lightsaber through the man's chest spilling his guts over the bridge as he stumbled backwards in shock before falling dead. Karath paled at the sight as did many of his fellow navy men and women who crewed the bridged, the other few Sith on the bridge had watched the brief scene of violence with calm detachment.

"Anyone else wish to challenge me?" Malak growled as his eyes searched out those of his fellow Sith, but all looked away unwilling to risk death at that time as it was quite clear Malak was still a force to be reckoned with. "Carry out your orders Admiral" he snapped turning back to Karath who gulped in fear. "I expect an update in no less than two hours" he warned before he turned and stormed away to his quarters leaving Karath and most of the bridge fearful for their lives should something be seriously wrong on Korriban.
